Tables updated when changing Transfer order

Hi all,
I am facing a problem when I am trying to change storage bin (NLPLA) & storage type(NLTYP) in a Transfer Order and then confirming it, I am updating 4 tables directely i.e LTAP, LEIN, LQUA, LAGP, but when confirming the TO, gives an SAP error. The reason of course is that something is not getting updated.
<b>Can someone please advise what else should be updated or suggest me a FM which can change storage bin and storage type in the same TO.</b>
I do not want to make a new TO with an FM.

Placed files don't update when changed

For some reason when I place PSD files into Illustrator, they no longer update when changed.
I've tried setting preferences to both 'Ask When Modified' and 'Automatically'...
It used to work OK, just in the past month or so it's stopped.
Also I notice that when I place a PSD file it is asking me if I want to flatten layers, which it didn't used to, as far as I remember.

You can always use the Place command to replace an embedded file with a linked one.
If you've got Shift or Shift Lock held down, files will embed when placed or dragged in from the finder, otherwise they'll be linked.

Discount is being updated when changing unit price in SO after upgrade

Hi there,
Customer recently upgraded to version 8.8 from 2005.
They encountered a few transactions where discount is automatically being updated when changing unit price in SO.
Customer created SO by duplicating existing SO. Then change the Unit Price in the new SO.
For one item, the price after discount does not get updated correctly. Instead, system seems to have automatically created the discount.
So far, I can't reproduce this issue yet.
Is this a bug? Please suggest.

I have checked and there is no discount setup for the Price List or BP.
The Price List has been set to the correct one as well.

Std BP address in order updated when changed in master data

Hi all,
For a project with CRM 4.0 and a non-SAP backend, I face this problem.
The following scenario seems to be the standard logic:
- Create an order with a sold-to with this BP's standard address
- Save the order
- Change the standard address of this BP (e.g., the city)
- Check the previously created order and see that the address has been updated
So, there is no new address number created when I create an order and refer to the BP's standard address. Hence, this address is shown in CRMD_ORDER as if it were a view to tx BP. When the BP's address is changed, the order will have the new address 'in' it. My question now is: is it possible to change this logic to ensure that the historical address is kept in the order for eternity (either by saving the address in each different order or by customizing the address entrance, or by some other way)?

You can create one more standard adrress (In the Address Overview tab page), with the changes instead of changing the existing address and can execute the Move option, which will have the validity periods for both the standard address.

STO history not update in stock transfer order,

Hi, Experts,
I have create delivery against Stock transfer order , But i checked in some STO case - purchase order history tab not update, What is the reaon for this . can any body gives solution.
One more question, I had created STO & Then do PGI against this STO, After this i also take GRN for this, But when i had check ddocument flow for outbound delivery GRN document not update, But it display in STO history tab.
Pls give me solution for both question.

1. Is this problem reproducible? If yes, you may need to create a message for it in service market place.
2. If this is only a single case, you can re-create the EKBE (po history) entry via report ZCREA_EKBE. Please check SAP note 433505.
3. Regarding the GR document and document flow, this is related with how you post the GR. If you post GR in MIGO with reference to the outbound delivery, it should be updated to the document flow. How did you post it?

Change Transfer Order Line Items during Creation

Hi All,
I have a requirement wherein it is necessary to change the Line item (LTAP) of a transfer order , during its creation.
I had a look at exits - MWMTO001 (EXIT_SAPLL03T_001) . But it is not useful in our case as the TO is already created before the control is passed over to the user-exit.
Our requirement is that, if the source qty in alternate unit of measure (LTAP-VSOLA) contains a decimal value i.e. if LTAP-VSOLA = 2.500 CAR ( Carton is the alternate unit of measure ), then the TO line must be split into two lines and the qty must be distributed as 2 CAR and 6 EA ( Each is the Base unit of Measure ), considering that 1 CAR = 12 EA.
I tried searching for any FM/BAPI for changing TO's, so that it can be used in the above exit after TO creation, but could not find any . Any suggestions to over come this will be highly appreciated.

Hi Jurgen,
You are right. The system does not propose TO's with different UoM's for the same material. The TO split thro configuration which you have suggested does not check for the decimal value of the quantity, but rather it takes the Qty value as a whole.
As far as I have seen , there are no user exits which can be used to influence the creation of TO line items. Let me know if u come across any of them, which can be used to modify the system determined TO lines.

Acrobat Pro 9 & 10 crash when changing read order

I have a calendar I have been making in Indesign for years with no changes other than the entries. After I export to PDF, I use the read order tools to arrange the read order for a blind client and calendars cant be read normally without giving it the order. As of several months ago, when I go to rearrange the readorder, it will crash. It doesnt do it to every change to the order I make, just certain ones, and those certain ones change on me each month. Im clueless why this is and because of it, I havent been able to properly make a PDF for this blind client without the calendar reading completely out of order. What could be causing this????

Your issue may not be related to a difference between v8 and 9.
I have not had this problem on my computers, but a coworker had this issue. For many documents that others were able to open and scroll through without issue, his computer was freezing and unfreezing. IT determined his graphics capabilities were not able to keep up with the requirements of working with larger documents and gave his computer a RAM upgrade and a new graphics card. Particularly during scrolling, higher demands are made on the computer to graphically render and re-render page content. Documents giving him problems before became a non-issue.
A new graphics card is obviously a $$$ solution, but you might want to check to see if your RAM meets the minimum requirements and check to see if there are any program updates (Help > Check for Updates).
I have had an issue of pdfs freezing, but not specifically in the table of contents areas. If your document has pages with images that have an unusually high number of layers, it may affect the ability to work effectively in the document.

Trouble in table updating when getting focus or mousemove over a table.

I have JTable and dynamically updating data in mymodel by using
mymodel.addTableModelListener(Table) through fireTableRowsInserted()
and fireTableRowsUpdated() method of AbstractTableModel.It just work
fine, the problem is when i move mouse over a table or restoring the
window the getValueAt(row,column) method is called repeatdly to
corresponding row and column , then the value in that cell is changing.
I incremented the value of the cell basing on perticular condition.When
i move mouse over the table or restored then the value of the cell is
incrementing repeatedly .Can any body give the solution , when i moved
the mouse over a table or restore the window the value of corresponding
cell has not to increment.

It sounds like you do not have your table model implemented properly.
The getValueAt() method should always return the proper value for a cell from the model data. It gets called all the time and you have no control over when it is called. You must make sure that it will always return the proper data given the params passed to the method.
AFTER you update the data underlying the model you should fire the proper event. Then the table (view) will repaint the impacted cells (by calling a number of other methods, including the getValueAt method).
Subclass AbstractTableModel, implement all the required methods. When implementing the methods, remember that you cannot guess in what order or how the methods will be called. Just make sure they always return the proper thing. Also make sure you fire the appropriate event when you modify the underlying data in the model.

Facing data type error when changing the order of fields in a query

I am working on E sourcing 5.1.
I have a query with some filters . I want to change the position of a particular filter.
Basically I want to move a filter of type date to the top , so that it is the 1st parameter.
I was able to do this by reorder option.
However at runtime it gives me an error saying that "error u201CORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got date."
Later I reverted back my changes so that the date filed is at its original position and faced no issues.
Query worked fine.
Is the order of filters important when executing a query.
Please suggest how can I move the date filter to the top of the query's filter list.

Its not the SELECT statements that you need to change. You have to change the WHERE caluse.
In the WHERE clause, some of the conditions will have some table column equated to a '?' symbol. This symbol is a place-holder for a filter prompt. There is a one-to-one correspondence between the '?' symbols and the filter prompts created in the query(under the Filter Prompt tab). This means that the first '?' corresponds to the first filter prompt, second '?' to the second filter prompt and so on.
Keeping the above information in mind, you can attempt to make changes to your query. You can duplicate your existing query and try your hands at it.
One more point worth mentioning : It is evident that if you need to use the same filter prompt at more than once place in the query definition, you have to create more than one instance of that query prompt.(Here by another instance I mean that the two filter prompts should have same values in their fields when you define them.) But even when you create more than one instance of a filter prompt, on the UI it will appear just as a single instance.
If things have become more confusing than before (of which there is a high probability ) then please go through the online help for Queries. It has got an extensive documenation and will be surely be of some help to you.

Is ANLC table updated when you post a legacy transaction?

We are in the process of converting data to a new system. We have a previous year retirement posted as a legacy transaction (AS92). The ANEP table (asset line items) was updated and reflects this change. However, we noticed that this legacy transaction is not reflected in the ANLC table (asset value fields).
Is there a possible way to update ANLC when a legacy transaction is posted?

With AS91 these values should be updated in ANLC The fields ***. acquis. val, Accm.ord. deprec. and ther should be no values in ANEP when you have used the takeover values screen.
True enough, the ANLC table reflects the ***. acquis. val accm. ord. deprec when the takeover values screen was first used. ANEP doesn't show this which is okay.
But in the AS92 transaction where we posted a retirement from previous yr in the current year, values are only reflected in ANEP. Is it normal for legacy transactions (other than beginning APC & ord. dep) to appear only in ANEP and not in ANLC?

Report or table for the changed sales orders

Hi Friends,
Does anyone know of the standard report with which we can track all the sales orders where the changes have been made in particular date range?
If not standard report then atleast the table or the structure where the value is stored.
I know that we can track the orders one by one but I am looking for a list of orders.
