Hello,
{180,000.00 + 130,000.00 + (10,000.00 *5) = 360GB }
In you system, you need 360Gb total in your drive where you have SAPDATAn directory when all of your datafiles reaches its max size.
If you have still have 320 GB free space, there should not any problem till you extend any Tablespace. But please verify if you have 320Gb free now or if total size of drive is 320 GB ??
(Also, I assume you do not have anything other than this SAPDATAn in that drive which will grow and eat disk space)
What you need to understand is, you should have as much of space in drive as much you are having all datafiles in that drive after it reaches its max size.(If you create datafiles with autoexted yes, initial size of file on disk will be less and will b gradually extended as needed)

  • How to exclude undo and temp from "Tablespace Space Used (%)"

    Dear All
    Is it possible to exclude undo and temp tablespace monitoring from "Tablespace Space Used (%)" matric?
    Thanks & Regards
    Quazi Abdur Rab

    If you use TEMP >=100 as Warning, this warning can still be raised.
    What version of the database is it? If Oracle 10g, Grid Control (the agent) searches the alert table in the database for alerts, so the database raises the alert and the agent just passes this alert to Grid Control.
    If you are using Oracle 10g, you can use the following statement (connected as sys):
    DBMS_SERVER_ALERT.SET_THRESHOLD(
    metrics_id => DBMS_SERVER_ALERT.TABLESPACE_PCT_FULL,
    warning_operator => DBMS_SERVER_ALERT.OPERATOR_GT,
    warning_value => '90',
    critical_operator => DBMS_SERVER_ALERT.OPERATOR_GT,
    critical_value => '100',
    observation_period => 1,
    consecutive_occurrences => 1,
    instance_name => NULL,
    object_type => DBMS_SERVER_ALERT.OBJECT_TYPE_TABLESPACE,
    object_name => 'TEMP');
    This will create the GT (Greater Than) instead of GE (Greater Equal).
    Kind regards,
    Dave
    ps. I'm using GC 10.2.0.3.0, so thanks for the note that 10.2.0.4 doesn't take 100+ values.

  • Amount of temporary tablespace size used for index rebuild

    Hi All,
    I want to know approximate amount of temporary tablespace size used for index rebuild. I need this information to avoid the insufficient temporary tablespace error during the huge index rebuild.
    Is there a query or procedure to find it out.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    While creating the index, the temporary segment is created in the permanent tablespace. So permanent tablespace must have sufficient space.

  • Increasing tablespace by using BRTOOLS ends up with  BR0253E error

    While trying to increase tablespace by using BRTOOLS, it is giving below error:
    BR0259I Program execution will be continued...
    BR0252E Function fopen() failed for '/oracle/XIS/102_64/sapbackup/.user.pas' at location BrToolCall-2

    Please help

    Hi  Abu Al MAmun,
    As per your logs brspace is trying to write into the location /oracle/XIS/102_64/sapback , But their may not be any directory by label sapback in ORACLE_HOME directory this may be issue relating to wrong parameter set in init<SID>.sap which will be used by  BRTOOLS.
    Crosscheck your init<SID>.sap file.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Amarnath.

They all have different devices to play back the video - PC, Mac, DVD player.   From reading some other posts about this issue, I get the impression that I can not burn a DVD (using a DVD-R disc) of 4K edited footage? i.e.: the only way to view back the video would be connecting my Mac Book Pro directly to a High Def tv via HDMI cord?  Thank you for any clarification you can provide!

    Thanks very much for your speedy reply!  What would be the best way for me to provide the highest quality video to the 'general' viewer (parents, friends, family)?  The original video footage is so incredibly sharp, clear, smooth, etc, and I want their viewing experience of it to be as good as can be... but unfortunately I have to keep in mind that they all have different devices by which they will view it (PC, Mac, HD TV with DVD player, etc).  There may not be a solution, but I'm hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can help!

  • SWF not Loaded 100% using SWFLoader !!!!!!!

    HI all,
    Iam working in Flex Project, i got hung up with a issue with SWFLoader, I have main application and a sub application developed in FLEX 3, the sub application contains the flex pages of DashBoard screen, the SWF of sub application is loaded in main application using SWFLoader. if the browser is opened full , the SWF is loaded 100% , if the browser is opened 75% the swf is not loaded fully. when the browser is maximized the SWF is not displayed full screen. the issue is THE SWF IS GETTING LOADED ACCORDING TO THE BROWSER SIZE, WHEN BROWSER IS MAXIMIZED THE SWF IS DISPLAYED SAME WHEN BROWSER WAS 75% AND NOT EXPANDED .if anybody come across this issue, pls post reply , thanks.
    The swf of subApplication is loaded in the main with the code:
    <mx:Canvas id="dashCanvas" creationPolicy="all" cachePolicy="on"width="100%" backgroundColor="#FFFFFF" horizontalScrollPolicy="off" verticalScrollPolicy="off" >
    <mx:SWFLoader id="dashBoard" trustContent="true" width="100%" height="100%" scaleContent="true" autoLoad="true" source="@Embed(source='../../../../assets/appl/dashboard/dashboard.swf')" />
    </mx:Canvas>
    The width and height of thr subApplication and the Main Application are set as 100%.
    when the width and height of the subApplication is set as :
    width=Capabilities.screenResolutionX;
    height = Capabilities.screenResolutionY;
    the SWF loads fully and correctly when the browser is opened 100% but when the browser is 75% open, the SWF gets loaded according to the browser.
    Thanks & Regards
    Gowrishankar R

    Setting width/height will turn off % sizing and might affect resizing as you have now fixed its width/height.
    See if the resizeHandler gets called on the Application.  You may also need height=100% on the Canvas

  • Trouble with Solaris 10 install on SunBlade 100 using Media CDs from Sun

    Hello World,
    My SunBlade 100 was not reading various burned Solaris 10 media, so I purchased the media kit from Sun. The installation is successful up until the point where it asks for CD2. I didn't even hear the drive spin when I clicked "Next" after inserting CD2.
    I know it is not the CD drive since it obviously works for CD1. It is also not an intermittent problem with the CD drive because CD1 works each time I run the install. I also don't think it is the media since CD2 went right from the factory envelope to my CD drive.
    So:
    1. Has anyone encountered something like this?
    2. Can I resume the installation from the command line?
    Many Thanks,
    Greg

    Actually ...
    Yes, it can be the optical drive.
    Those factory shipped drives in the SB100's were prone to spontaneously failing, one minute to the next.
    Additionally the CD's are actually written differently, whether they are the bootable ones in the set versus the non-bootable CDs in the set.
    Data track layouts are different.
    The optical drive could commonly have difficulty reading every disk you ever insert into it.
    Borrow a replacement drive from a PeeCee.
    Jumper it the same as the current drive and just use it.
    If that works, then go buy a replacement.
    Optical read-only drives are laughably cheap.
    Optical read/write DVD drives are inexpensive, as well.

  • Backup - recovery tablespace + database Using RMAN

    Hi,
    database : 8.1.7.0.0
    OS : windows nt workstation
    I have taken the backup using following script thru rman.
    e:> rman target = "system/manager@pso" nocatalog
    rman> run {
    allocate channel DefaultChannel type disk
    format 'd:\ORACLE\pso_b_%u_%s_%p';
    backup
    ( tablespace 'USERS' include current controlfile );
    It created following file : PSO_B_14DFIFQ5_36_1.
    Before executing this script I created a user vasu with default tablepspace as "users". Created a table EMP with spacifying tablespace to "users"
    After taking the backup (no problems in this), I dropped the table. I want to restore the table EMP from the backup copy. So what I did is, I tried restoring the tablespace "users" itself, by using following script.
    rman> run {
    allocate channel DefaultChannel type disk format
    'd:\ORACLE\pso_b_%u_%s_%p';
    sql "alter tablespace USERS offline immediate ";
    restore ( tablespace 'USERS' );
    recover tablespace 'USERS' ;
    sql "alter tablespace USERS online ";
    There is no problem in restoring it also. But when I tried checking for my table EMP in the user vasu, table is not available.
    Am I doing something wrong in this.
    I tried with taking complete backup of database and restored it. That is also not getting my table which is there before backup.
    Can anyone help on this.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Don't know the source tablespace to use in REMAP_TABLESPACE

    11.2.0.2/Solaris 10
    We have an expdp dump of a development related schema. We had dropped the source DB. Now, we want to create a new schema in a new DB using this dump. We don't know the tablespaces used by the source schema as that DB doesn't exist now.
    To find the tablespaces used by the source schema, I can go ahead and do impdp and go through the "tablespace does not exist" errors in the impdp log file (need to do some googling to create an awk script for this )
    But is there any other way to determine the tablespaces used by the source schema when the source database no longer exists ? We don't have the expdp log file either (Currently searching for it )

    I can think of 2 options for you.
    1. run your import with sqlfile and then grep that file for the TABLESPACE keyword. This will give you all of the tablespaces that will be used during the import command.
    2. run your import but with these:
    keep_master=y master_only=y job_name=my_master_only
    this will load just the master table and then you can query the master to find the tablespaces. If your dumpfile is large, this may be much
    faster than sqlfile Once this import is complete, do a query like this:
    SQL> connect schema_running_job/password
    SQL> select unique object_tablespace from my_master_only where process_order > 0 and duplicate = 0;
    SQL> select unique object_name from my_master_only where process_order > 0 and duplicate = 0 and object_type = 'TABLESPACE';
    Hope this helps.

  • Exporting Lower Third from FCP for Media 100 use

    I'm exporting out a lower third for someone else to use in Media 100. It is set to alpha+RGB. The exported QT file has a black background that I assumed would be keyed out once brought in to Media 100 and layered over an interview, but it's all black. Is it something I'm doing wrong in FCP or on the other end in Media 100?
    Power Mac G5   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   Dual 2.7 GHZ 4 GB SDRAM

    You need to use the Animation Codec with colors set to Millions+ (the "+" is your alpha channel) also, you should make sure your lower third is not rendered.

  • Which temp tablespace will used during the import (impdp) ?

    Oracle version : 11.2.0.3 on Solaris
    We have created an empty schema called MLDT_FN and set its default temporary tablespace as TEMP_MLDT. We usually use SYSTEM user to do exports (expdp) and imports (impdp)
    During a schema level (or table level) import to MLDT_FN schema, which temporary tablespace will be used ?
    Will it be
    the default temporary tablespace of SYSTEM user which runs this impdp job
    or
    the default temporary tablespace of the newly created MLDT_FN schema which is being to imported to

    It will use default temp tablespace of schema.
