Tabs for bookmarks showing only background frame

I have folders created in bookmark banner. When I click on the folder I can see only border frame, not the content. It happens from time to time. When I close firefox I open again, everything again working correctly (screenshot available).

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Come on gents and gentesses...... I'm really sweating on this one. Can't properly display my combined audio and pic when showing the Timeline contents of FCP in the MacPr's TV monitor Only the pic is appearing without any proper sound, as reported above. Just a mono row.
Does nobody have any idea on the problem or am I too far up to date with the MacPro and FCP 5.1.4 for even Apple to let me in on the way to rectilfy. Bloomin' upgrades...... !

Design view showing only background.

I'm working with Dreamweaver MX 2004. Suddenly the design view for one of my pages is showing only the background. The background is part of an external style sheet. There are no scroll bars so it's not just off to the side. The page with the exact same code is online and looks right. If anyone can help me I'd sure appreciate it.

There are tabs with bookmarks showing up in the tab bar that won't close. Why do they come up and why can't I close them?

I can't close the bookmark tabs that show up automatically at the tab bar. I don't want them to open or show up. When they show up I can't close them and everything in the tab bar gets frozen. So I'm just stuck. Firefox won't even quit when this happens. How can disable these bookmark tabs from showing up. They are a nuisance.
I also need instruction on eliminating bookmarks that came with Firefox. I deleted them, but they showed up again.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

My adminstration page for router shows only colors no print,what to do

I have tried for 3 days to get in to my wrt54g v5 router page at 192.168.1.1 to change some things.What is wrong.I have Easy link installed because I could not get it hooked up without it.

As per your message it seems that routers set up page is not fully loaded ........
Disable the firewall & antivirus software on computer ....
Again try to open the set up page ..... & see if it is showing proper tabs or not.....

MSI 2GB D5 X GTX660 GAMING desktop shows only background after driver instal

[I'm not sure if I put the right product name down in the title but it's the mSI N660 GAMING 2GD5/OC video card]
After trying to instal the driver for my newly purchased video card the problem started. I've been trying to solve the following problem for days and at my wits end. Any help would be much appreciated!
What I've done is
-a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate
-installed my motherboard driver from cd
-let Windows update get the first chunk of updates (around 100-150) which includes SP 1
-installed the driver for the MSI video card, trying several; MSI Graphics driver 320.49 from this site, the NVIDIA graphics driver from this site, (both suggested for my product + Windwows 7 32bit), getting the 334.89 driver from the NVIDIA site, or getting a NVIDIA driver through Windows Upgrade. All have the same result;
The driver installs and promps a system restart. After restarting, I get through the Bios, the Windows loading screen and proceed to my desktop. I see the background, but no icons, no toolbar on the bottom of my screen, just nothing exept my mouse's position. When I rightclick, the option to show icons and such is already ticked. When I press Control+als+del I get a bland black screen with no (visible) option of taking any action or starting a command prompt. I can't do much then except do a system recovery to an earlier point.
I've been trying to solve this for many a times with different approaches, but they all net the same result. I've not found a solution through various google searches, nor found a solution in the stickes on this forum, or a search. If I overlooked one, apologies.
If anybody can help me, you'd be a godsend and I'll praise your name for days!

I never tried anything with overclocking so don't think there's much too mention regarding that.

Previous to installing the driver there was none on my system, due to the clean install (to my knowledge, that is...). I´ve got Driver Fusion now, if needed in the near future.

According to system information, my bios runs a version dated 4/11/2009
According to a downloaded program, AIDA32, my bios uses: AMI system bios dated 11/04/2009 and vbios dated 06/02/2009.

"Open in new Tab" for bookmarks in sub-toolbar menu

In Safari, if the toolbar is full with Bookmarks, they begin to gather in a sub-Toolbar which can be accesed via clicking on the ">>" which is to the far right of the window. However if you two-finger click to open "Page in new tab" on any gathered bookmarks in the sub-toolbar, the operation doens't exist!
If you can understand what I'm trying to describe than that's good. I want to tell Safari developers this!

Yes - I see just what you mean.
fwiw the command-click (Apple key) does work to open in a new tab, even though the ctrl, or two-finger click isn't available.

Why is the podcast for our show only streaming/downloading half of episode?

Our podcasts on occasion have been having an issue when uploading/linking to the store. On a weekly basis we upload video and audio podcasts through the linking of our RSS feed (Feedburner) and also utilizing the Blubrry Powerpress plugin. On our site and server both the video and audio files are in their entirety, but upon being posted in the iTunes store they are sometimes being presented at a shortened length. This morning our video and audio were fine on our site, but on the iTunes store the audio stream was cut at 30 minutes (the podcast should be 1hr 15min). Somehow though, the video stream on iTunes is up in its entirety without issue.
We would love to stop this from happening! Any ideas?

I have 177200 bookmarks. Yes...177k is correct. Firefox will not let my delete any folders for bookmarks. Reset will not work either?

Firefox is deathly slow and locks up when I use tab for bookmarks. Like I said..reset on help tab doesn't work
I have many multiple copies of bookmarks from ie also. I tired to delete Firefox and install a fresh one but IE would allow me to go to mozilla. I know somehow the tons of bookmarks is causing issues for both Firefox and IE. I like to use both of them.

Lets try and make some practical suggestions.
I also suggest for now at least you do not try the Reset option.<br />Also note repeated attempts to recreate the places.sqlite could destroy your bookmark records all 177k of them, so please make sure they are properly backed up first.
#Take some steps to preserve whatever bookmarks you do have.
## Backup your profile, that includes the database ''places.sqlite'' mentioned above by ''cor-el'', and some other important backup files. <br />See [[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]]
## Backup your bookmarks by exporting as HTML These are not ideal as Firefox backups but have some great properties. They are

Tabs for new windows no longer accumulate; only current tab shows. How do I get new sites on tabs?

The minis (and other wireless devices) I have in service in the network are variously connected via an Airport Extreme base station, an Airport Express and Belkin and Lexmark WAPs. In the course of doing this I've noted marginally better signal stability at the 55 foot range between a mini and the Airport Extreme base station, but no real difference in signal quality between any of them.

Aminated gifs only showing the last frame on the 2nd time of viewing

I have 2 animated gifs and on pressing a button i am changing between the 2 on te first click the animated gif runs sucessfully and clicking the button again the 2nd animated gif runs sucessfully. However when i go to run the first animated gif again it only shows the last frame and this continues no matter how many times you press the button. Is there any way of getting it to start from the first frame. By the way just in case it makes a difference both the animated gifs run once they do not continously keep going and that is how i want them to be.

so basically i press an srea area on the screen and every time i do it alternates between these 2 animated gifs gui.getBackImage() just returns te string of the animated gif file. I've checked to make sure that a new instance of the media tracker is being created each time and it is so i'm not really sure where the problem is!!

Using downloaded songs for slide show background music

Maybe I am naive, but I just joined iTunes and downloaded some music to use as background for slide shows of family pics. I am using Microsoft Plus! to put the slide shows together. The iTunes songs downloaded in MPEG-4 and the Plus! code will only recognize MP3. I am also concerned that the copyright protection will make the songs not useable for the slide show compilations. Any ideas? Thanks!

In iTUnes you can burn the song to CD then reimport it as a MP3. Goto edit>preferences>advanced tab>Import sub tab, and set it from "AAC" to "MP3" then hit OK
Now burn the songs to CD in itunes. Put the CD back in and hit the "Import" button in the top right corner of itunes
