Tabs I have closed out still load every time I bring up Firefox! I can't get rid of them.

Two days ago I closed out my daily Firefox session. I had ten tabs open, which is typical for me, including the homepage. I closed out the entire session by hitting the X in the uppermost right hand corner. Shut down the computer, etc., NEXT day, when I go to open Firefox, all of those tabs reload. NOW... get this: I have closed those out one by one by clicking their individual X's. When that failed to solve the problem, I closed them out from the FILE menu, again, individually, same problem. In the meantime, I have started new sessions with different tabs opened (and the pestering, persistent ones closed. BUT STILL when I open a brand new session of Firefox, those ten tabs from two days continue to load. It is really annoying. Help!

HT2729 Videos are consuming space on my Iphone 4s, yet I have not selected the videos to synch to my iphone. I can't get rid of them from my iPhone despite all my attempts.

Those look alot like file names and not infection names. I don't find any reference to anything like that on Norton or VirusTotal. Since you said these were Trojans, I would expect to see "Trojan" as part of the infection name.
".jar" files are executable Java applets. The random alpha-numerics would seem to indicate a cache file, likely from a browser with Java enabled. And we all know what ".zip" means.
Worst case is that you had Java enabled in a browser and were infected by one of the late variants of the Flashback Trojan over a year ago or one of a couple of other attacks using the same vulnerability but targetted against a small number of political sympathizers. Much more probable is that thes were Windows only Trojans. Hopefully you have a fully up-to-date OS X, including Java, and have disabled Java in all your browsers by now.

When I open on Mozilla Firefox, several identical items open on bar at bottom of page, when only one is needed, and I can't get rid of them apart from closing the whole lot.

Different tabs used to appear at the top of the page (Yahoo), which I could easily close. This has stopped. When I click on Mozilla Firefox on my desktop, about 6 little boxes appear at the bottom of my page, at least two of them being mozilla, and I can't get rid of them except by closing down the internet. If I go through Talk Talk, (a second email address) and get to Yahoo this way, this doesn't happen, but I always prefer to use Mozilla Firefox.

iTunes does not handle the import of photos/videos from the iPhone's Camera Roll.
If this is not the computer you sync your iPhone with, you should have been provided a warning message that your iPhone is associated with an iTunes library on another computer and when trying to transfer any iTunes content from a different computer, a warning message is provided indicating that all iTunes content on the iPhone will be erased first.
When connecting an iPhone to iTunes on another computer, none of the options under the various tabs for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes are selected automatically. This means you had to select Sync Contacts under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your wife's computer.
Assuming you are syncing contacts with a supported address book app on your computer, connect your iPhone to Tunes on your computer and without syncing, under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences below the Advanced section, select Contacts for replace info on this iPhone followed by a sync.
For importing photos/videos from the Camera Roll which can be done with a computer that is not used for syncing the iPhone since syncing with iTunes is not involved.

When you quit firefox with tabs and windows open it "remembers". When you start Firefox it tries to restore the tabs and windows you had open.

The welcome screen is loading every time I start up Firefox (version 5)

I recently upgraded to version 5.
Every time I start Firefox up, the "welcome to Firefox" screen is loaded in a second tab. I don't want it to load every time. The first time I launched the program was enough.

Do you see a Last 7 days folder?
If not then older history has been deleted.<br />
Firefox 5 doesn't use a time limit to store history like previous Firefox 3 versions did.

in the midst of photo shoot yesterday, this vertical line pattern appeared in every photo and can't get rid of it. Triple checked all my settings, nothing's changed about how I take my photos.
Through the viewfinder when I prefocus I see the result of what my photo should look like after the shot, but after I take it, the shot is 50% lighter, with a horrible pattern of lines. First try a complete reset if possible, I can't see it being the memory card but if you have a spare one try that.
One cause could be the sensor or the display itself, I've had faulty ribbon cables going to the display on TV sets causing similar problems.
I take it they are in the same place on every shot. What does a good photo show up like, i.e., one prior to this fault showing? This would point to the sensor or display, since the photo was taken previous to the fault it 'would' eliminate the sensor as this is only used when taking photos and not when 'viewing'.
