Tabs view issue with any appearance theme

Hi.
I try new Firefox version Aurora (30.0 a2).
When I use any visual appearance theme rounded tabs look terrible.
Tabs are rounded but theme tabs looks rectangular.

It's not a virus. It's a JavaScript scam that only affects your web browser, and only temporarily.
Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
Close the malicious window or tab.
Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. From the menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.

We are using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6
We have three 3 separate viewcontroller projects and one Master projects which i supposed to integrate all these projects into one.
Issue:
After putting all three together into the Master project, the app fails to deploy due to this error:
oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-34010: The "adf/tabs/view/DataBindings.cpx" descriptor appears in the application classpath more than once:
We did some digging and found out that it is because of the fact that "DataBindings.cpx" in all three projects falls withing the default package. How do we rectify this issue. We cannot even Refector this file because that option is not available for this file. We have a demo soon, What can we do?

Hi,
this error typically comes from name clashes. Apparently you created ADF libraries (or projects) that contain a DataBindings.cpx file. The DataBindings.cpx file seems to be located in the same folder structure and thus could not be merged but are found to be added twice. When you create new view controller projects then best practice is to ensure the root package name is unique to avoid such issues.

Turn Off BT on your Phone & ReBoot..
Delete the phone from the vehicles memory..
Restart the Vehicle & go thro' the Pair set up..........

OBIEE 11g Map View - Issue with Label Translation

Hi All,
I have a strange translation issue with the Maps in 11g.
Created in English language to plot the Revenue for each of the Postal Codes.
I selected Postal Code and Revenue Amount in the Criteria and created a new Map View. It had the text 'Postal Code' in the Map Legend and then the scale for revenue amount.
Now I logged on with Chinese Language , it still appears as 'Postal Code' in English where in it was actually supposed to show it in Chinese.
We have a translation pack to get all the column names translated. If I try creating a new table view, it shows the translated text instead of 'Postal Code', but some how this doesn't work with Maps.
Has anyone faced similar issues ? Is there a workaround for this ?

I also encounter the same issue. When I view combined layout, I get the No Results message. But when I edit the table layout, I see that there are records returned. Does anyone had any luck in resolving this issue?

Viewing issues with Adobe Acrobat Professional 8

We have Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 installed, and we are having some issues when viewing pdf documents. Once a Word document is converted to a pdf document, some of the hyperlinks are appearing thicker (almost bold) than others, and some of the text appears lighter/darker than the rest of the text. There is no pattern to this, it is all very random.
When we print the pdf document, everything looks correct, so this only happening when we view the document on the computer.
Can anyone provide a suggestion on how to fix this issue?

I am attaching screen shots of 1) a page where the hyperlinks appear thicker and 2) the document properties pages showing the fonts.
We have tried creating it with both the Adobe PDF Maker and the MS PDF tool and it happens using both. I am thinking that this really is a viewing issue, because it prints out fine. Also, it looks the same no matter what the zoom setting is.
Please let me know if you have any other advice.

Viewing issue with Adobe Reader

I'm having an issue with Adobe reader, which appears to be not related to platform or version. To cut a long story short. I've created an A4 design in Photoshop. Part of this design includes some boxes, that have been given an outline (border) effect. Also bare in mind that the Photoshop files are being created at 350dpi.
When I put my design into Illustrator/ InDesign and then generate a PDF file. I then go and look at the pdf file and when the zoom is at 100%, the edges of the boxes are not straight, you'll get a slight offset half way along for example. However, when I zoom in to 400% the problem disapears and the lines (edges) look perfectly as they should.
Does anyone know about this issue? I'm worried that when I print from the PDF, this issue will be in the print-out - or will it be OK when I print it seeming as it dissapears at 400% zoom.
Any prompt answers or help would be appreciated.

Can you open Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].

PDF document inline view Issue with Chrome

I am facing an issue with the below procedure which should fetch and display PDF document in the browser.
It displays properly on IE 9. But no luck in Chrome. Shows junk.
What am I missing? Meanwhile report BLOB column link inline download is working fine with Chrome. I use this proc to popup a new window and display PDF in it.
Any help is appreciated.

10.1.2.3.0 CP2 Viewer Issue with Managed Links

With this patch workbooks with managed links that were operational passing a blank (optional) parameter now pass 'NULL' as the value. This is bug 7422080. We are in the process of downloading CP5, which is suppose to resolve this issue. This will take time. Can anyone think of a possible workaround? The workaround explained in the bug does not work, which was to edit the parameter, add a default value, then edit it again, remove the default value and save the workbook. I have also tried ' ' as a default value but it just passes ' '. It would be nice to have a workaround until we can install, test and upgrade to CP5.

When passNullParameterAsNull="false" , that means, when null is passed as parameter from one sheet to another during drill to link, the value will be converted in between to the value which is set as "ShowNullValueAs" in second sheet. eg: if ShowNullValueAs = "" in second sheet. Null value passed from first sheet will reach as value "" in second sheet. If passNullParameterAsNull="true", then Null value will always be passed as Null to second sheet irrespective of the value of "ShowNullValueAs" in second sheet.

I have a sync issue with any songs name track 1 or 2 so on ..even though my itune shows I have the play list right but after i sync the same 20 tracks play very different tracks, it doesn't happen when I sync other songs that actually have names

Never happnes if the playlist has actual song names, than everything is fine..!!!!Any help?

Tab Ruler Issues with CS4

Hi. I am having trouble with the tab ruler in CS4. Whenever I zoom in to the long text box I need to set tabs in, the box is 44" long, the tab ruler does not stay with the text box if zoomed in more that 100%. Even when I have the ruler 'locked' to the text box I am setting tabs in, it fails to stay with the box. I scroll the the right to see the rest of the text box but the tab ruler does not move. Am I doing anything wrong or is this something funky with InDesign? I basically need the tabs to space a bunch of UPC codes across the length of the text box. It's usless if the tab ruler does not stay with the text box - I have no way of knwing where to set the tabs. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Yea, I figured it was a separate window and playing with it for a few hours trying to figure this out. So how do you keep the tabs and tab ruler inline with the text box when you scroll to the left or right or zoom in and out? It seems to not snap to the box when zoomed in either. Very hit or miss with it even aligning to the text box. The tab ruler goes way off the page and I have to scroll just to try to get the icon to try to snap it to the text box. Works about 20% of the time, but when I scroll it's useless.
I might be able to use tables, but I won't have the control, I don't think. Basically I have either 17, 10, etc. UPC codes and text below it, to fit at different increments along a 24 or 44" long page. This will change all the time, depending on how big or small the article that the UPC represents is. So I have nested a EPS UPC code and a text box below it and pasted it into a text box. From that I change, add or subtract, them to get the amount of info I need per long text box or line. I figured it was easier to do it this way than to align the EPS and the text by itself each time a change is made, which is all the time.
Long story short - I have dozens of these files that people did in Freehand and it takes most of the day to fix or add to these files the way it is now. Each UPC code is placed/linked, and the text is by itself in a table below. So I am moving each by hand. Thought InDesign would be better. The size of these change a few times a month. Thanks.

Bought my Ipad whilst living overseas but changed my itunes account accordingly. Seems I can download pretty much any app except those that stream film/tv. Any ideas?

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.

I have downloaded itunes, icloud, safari on my pc and can't connect with any of them. Icloud was the last program installed, when entering my apple id it says there's an issue with the server.

View issue with Form 9i Web

I am using Form 9i (Web) and have installed Jinitiator 1.3.1.26 with IE 8.0. on Windows 7.
I am getting a very strange issue, when I type any thing on the form, there is no display come, however when I tab to different screen and come back to the same I can see the word I have typed earlier. Do I need to use any other Jinitiator version?
Please help.

The only Forms Builder version certified for installation on Windows 7 is Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMw) 11g. Developer Suite 10g can be made to work on Windows 7 by following the installation instructions for installing on Windows Vista, but this is not supported by Oracle. The minimum Java version certified by Oracle, for IE 8, is Sun JRE 1.6.0_16. It is recommended, however, that you install the latest version (1.6.0_23).
Developer Suite 9i is definately not supported by Oracle for installation on Windows 7. You might be able to make it work by following the same installation steps for installing on Windows Vista (see My Oracle Support document: How to Install Developer Suite 10.1.2.3 on Windows Vista [ID:559067.1]).
