Tabs will not load sometimes unless I move the cursor or hold down an arrow button. If I close all tabs and reopen, it will work properly for a while then start doing the same thing. I've tried disabling add-ons but it does not help.

I've had this problem with earlier versions of Firefox. I am currently running the latest version which I think is 6.0.1. Firefox also is not responding a lot since the latest version update. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!

My ipod classic 160gb will be playing fine and then freeze up (unable to move around in it at all) and i have to reset it. This happens constantly whether in my car or when i listen at work. After i reset it works ok for a while then eventually requires another reset.
Another problem is that it will be playing fine and then start shuffling through songs without playing them. The songs that get shuffled work fine in the itunes program but not on the device. A reset does not correct the problem with these particular songs.
Also, sometimes when it is working and not freezing up or shuffling through, it will appear that a song is playing (in fact it says "now playing"), the song titlte is scrolling, but the song progression bar does not move. The count up in front of the bar stays at 0:00, and the count down at the end of the bar stays at the song length minutes not counting down. After I reset, it works fine and all the songs will play.
The reason I got this thing was because i can control it through my steering wheel/radio while i'm driving. I previously had a Zune 80gb which i'm glad I held on to. I have over 6600 songs (so I'm obviously a serious music listener and obviously frustrated), but only about 10 songs were downloaded through itunes, the rest I either ripped or downloaded from other site. From what i've been reading it sounds like there's a lot of ipod owners out there experiencing similar problems. Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve these issues for me and everyone else? I got my first iphone 8 months ago, then the ipod and was considering an ipad. But in light of my ipod issues.....

Got new ATV and all set up. It keeps loosing connection with iTunes on laptop and have tried everything suggested in set up guide. It works fine for a while then the iTunes account vanishes from 'computer' menu TV screen. Full Wifi signal on both devices

Sorry, I updated another thread I was a part of but didn't update my own thread.....ughhh!
I updated all of my ATV 2's and 3's to the latest firmware when it was released and have been problem free since. I do believe the major issue of not being able to connect after a period of inactivity has been corrected with the latest ATV firmware.
I can look at my network connection table using "netstat -an" in a CMD window and I do not see the massive number of connections I saw before the update.

I've never have this problem before, but if you are really worried you can go to finder -> Movies -> iMovie Project.
And then you can copy that project and put it in your desktop first. If you really did lost your project, you can still put it back. It will play perfectly if your events aren't damaged

Mapquest sign in box does not appear in Firefox but does in Internet Explorer. Why? Have disabled add ons but no luck.

The sign in box does not show up on Mapquest when I use Firefox. If I use Internet Explorer, the sign in box appears. I disabled the Firefox add-ons thinking there might be a conflict but no luck. Mapquest support is at a dead end, too, especially with it working in IE but not in Firefox. Suggestions?

Pages load very slowly, but load fine in Chrome and Safari. I've tried disabling add-ons, restarting, even uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.

This just began happening today, although I had not installed any new add-ons. This problem also happens on version 4.01.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

My firefox starts and works normally for a while then all of a sudden it switches to safe mode. I restart the computer and the same thing happens again.

When I restart the computer as before it works normally for a few minutes then all of a sudden it's in safe mode again. It just started doing this a few days ago, I never had a problem before and it's really annoying as I end up having to restart my computer every few minutes.

Firefox wont start up or launch even right after disabling add ons but lauches once it's in safe mode, already uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same.

i dont know if this matters but here's my computer specs:

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

The Add-Ons Manager is supposed to auto update your add-ons but it is not detecting the latest version of Adobe flash player. Why is it not detecting the update?

I have Adobe flash player version 10.2.152.32 installed and Adobe has released version 10.2.3.1 so why is the add-ons manager not detecting that an update is available?

Adobe Flash is not an add-on, it's a plug-in and you have to use the Plug-in Check to check for updates:

I'd recommend doing a SMC reset. I'd also HIGHLY recommend completing your profile. Without a completed profile it makes it difficult to help you out.
To reset the SMC:
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.

I have disabled add=ons but T/bird still freezes when i try to read/send message. Why?

For the last week my t/bird a/c freezes frequently [but not always] when i open it to read/reply to messages.
In addition logging in to the mail server seems to take at least 2 and often 3 tries before a message counts as "sent" and copying the message to the "sent" folder casues the same problem [sometimes] .
I haveclosed the program and re=opened in "safe" mode ...i e minues the add=ons....doens't seen to make any difference.
The freeze , when it occurs, has "not responding" at the top of the page...sometimes i just leave it for a while , sometimes i close and re-open the prgram.Neither seem to solve the immediate problem. Internet access is NOT affected ...i can browse whilst T/bird is frozen.

I have installed add-ons, but they do not show up on add-on bar at bottom of page and I don't know how to access them.

I installed the French dictionary (Classique & Réforme 1990) today and some time ago added the security add-on, Better Privacy by Netticat. Nothing shows up on my add-on bar at the bottom of the page when I use the Ctrl+/ command. How can I access either add-on?

I changed my AppleID/Password and now am locked out of iCloud. iCloud says maximum number of free accounts have been activated. tried Settings, Mail etc but iCloud does not appear. I was going to delete it and start again.

Had to change Apple ID/Password recently now cannot access iCloud. In settings when tapping iC, log in screen appears with old ID and request for (old) password.
In Settings Mail, Contacts etc iCloud does not appear. I was going to delete account.
Trying new ID/Password message appears "maximum no. of free accounts have been activated".
Using old ID/Password message apperas "you can,t sign in because account was disabled for security reasons ......reset password at iforgot.apple.com which i did.

I tried to log in to iCloud but a message appears telling me I "can't sign in because my account was disabled for security reasons....reset password at iforgot.apple.com". I don't know why this happened.
I reset both my Apple ID and password.
When I tap Settings iCloud is listed on the left side between General and Mail, Contacts etc.
Tapping iCloud brings up a log in screen for iCloud which shows my old Apple ID and requests the password. If I put the password in I get the message as above.
If I use the new Apple ID/Password I get the message "the maximum number of free accounts have been activated....
In settings there is no option to "Delete Account"
Any suggestions??

I have upgraded to IOS5 and installed imessaging, it worked ok for a while and now it seems only to work occasionally or sometimes not at all. Is there any use in having software that doesn't work. I am not the only person who has this fault,

Hi , does anyone know how to fix the problem with imessages. Sometimes it works and more often than not it doesn't. I upgraded my iphone 3gs a couple of weeks ago and the imessaging worked splendidly but now it hardly works at all. Both my daughters have the same problem and it isn't the wifi coz they live in different parts of the country.
