{tag_phonehome} being duplicated

my {tag_phonehome} on the invoice.html page is being duplicated as example :home number : 09890987,09890987
I thought it may be that I put the {module_homephone} in the id="HomePhone textbox on the registration buy page. But when I take that out it changes nothing on the invoice page.
As a side note does anyone know if iyts possible to add the phone tags to the packing slip as when adding the tags they dont generate a number, its just read {tag_phonehome} on the packing slip.

R/3 Masta Data downloaded in CRM keeps being duplicated

CRM version 4.0
The only master record we download from R/3 to CRM is the Employee Personal Number (field: PERNR).
The employee number when downloaded in CRM is called business partner. And there are some business partner that keeps being duplicated in CRM.
Details: The download from R/3 to CRM is done by a job that runs a standard program: RDBMIDOC.
1) Does anyone knows anything about that? What should I do to stop the duplication in CRM?

Downloaded Employee from R/3 is being duplicated in CRM

Hello group.
We daily run a job that download the Employee (from HR master record) from R/3 to CRM. This job executes the program: RDBMIDOC.
Several Employees are being duplicating when downloaded in CRM.
Meaning: is being generated in CRM 2 or more BP for the same employee.
In CRM generates one BP with a Personal Number value (field: PERNR). And the duplication generates a BP with Personal Number value = BLANK.
Does anyone has an idea or heard about this issue?

Though your problem is EMPLOYEE Table specific.I'd like to share one solution from the SALES point of view.
You can check your setting for upload to R/3 - table smofparsfa - parameter r3a_sales - pricing type.

When added a single purchase order the order being duplicated..

When added a single purchase order, the order being duplicated into two different orders numbers in the system..
the problem is Inconsistent and occurs several times a day.
Does anyone know \ heard about the problem??

Are the duplicated PO's created by the add on, or through the application?
We do have a customer who is getting duplicated SO / PO/ Cash sale invoices at the rate of a few per month. They have an add on running as well and we have been unable to solve the issue for them.
The rate did improve after upgrading to SP01, but the issue has not disappeared.
There was another thread a while ago about someone getting duplicated credit notes, they also had an add on running but the add on was unrelated to credit notes.

Notes are being duplicated on my iphone

Does anyone know why Notes are being duplicated and triplicated on my Iphone? I use both my Imac and MB Pro to add to current notes depending on where I'm sitting in the house.

Go to Settings>Notes>Default Account and set it to iCloud. Then open the Notes app, tap Accounts at the top, tap your iCloud account on the Accounts list, then try creating a new note and confirm that it appears on icloud.com now. If it does, leave things this way and your notes will sync properly with iCloud.

I had a worse problem. My iphoto Library just got corrupted. Did you get a message that asked if you want to migrate your MobileMe images to iPhoto? I was foolish to say yes. I think this may be what you did. It really isn't necessary of all your MobileMe Gallery images were originally from iPhoeo in the first place.
Do yourself a favor and check through a bunch of your images and see if any now have the same name. In my case over 1800 images all got renamed to the same file name. I did a restore from time machine from June 29th and this brought my library back to normal. And my Library was 20 GB larger after it got corrupted too! I don't know what it was but probably a lot of duplicate images and videos.

Podcasts being duplicated on my iPhone

Recently, iTunes has started duplicating podcasts on my iPhone 3GS. I will have multiple episodes of a particular podcast in iTunes on my PC, and each time I sync, iTunes creates another copy of certain episodes on my phone. Not all episodes, only a few. And I see no pattern to it. I can resolve the issue short term by unchecking the Sync Podcasts box on my iPhone, Applying that, then rechecking it and applying again. After that, the iPhone will be correct. But the next time I sync, it will again duplicate some episodes of some podcasts - and always the same ones.
I've tried deleting and re-downloading the episodes that are being duplicated, and the same thing still happens. And of course I've tried rebooting the iPhone several times.
This just started within the past couple weeks, so it could be something in iOS 5.1, or in iTunes 10.6, which both also came along roughly during that time frame.
Is anyone else seeing this?

I have the same problem with all of my email accounts on my iphone 4S. But it's not the phone, it's something to do with iCloud. I hope someone can answer this question because it's really annoying. I've already removed one of my accounts from the iphone and look online. I'm considering doing the same with my other email addresses.

Please check the Sales order and confirm that the items are intact i.e.,there are only 6 line items and with different prices,check the delivery and if everything is same and different only in invoice,check the copy controls.

Photos being duplicated and rearranged

There are two issues I've been having with iWeb in regards to photos. The first is that whenever I make a slideshow it looks fine in iWeb, and it even works when I open up the index.html file in Safari, but it doesn't work when I actually upload my site to my host server.
So, since I couldn't get the slideshow to work, I decided to just build a more stripped down photo gallery. All it is is a bunch of images on an otherwise blank page, nothing fancy. Again, it looks fine in iWeb and in Safari, but as soon as I upload it to my host server it ends up rearranging and duplicating images so that not all of my images are there, and some of them are in places they definitely shouldn't be.
I'm using iWeb 08, and I use Fetch to upload my pages to a GeoCities website.

As you can see near the bottom, one photo is duplicated and two are missing and have been replaced with images I created for the "photo gallery" and "home" links.

Many people have fixed this by connecting their phone, then disconnecting it and re-connecting it again. Odd I know, but they report it works.

How can I prevent songs from being duplicated when adding them to my iPod?

One feature I really like about iTunes is that if you have a song on a playlist, iTunes will notify you if you are adding a duplicate song to that playlist. I am looking for the same help managing my iPod.
For example if I have a playlist in iTunes called "AAA" and a corresponding playlist on my iPod called "AAA", my aim is to have the same content on each. If it is a playlist that I update/change on an ongoing basis on my iTunes, my issue is that I have to remember what songs I have updated or deleted off of this playlist in order to avoid duplicated songs when I have my iPod plugged in.
I would like to just drag this "AAA" playlist from iTunes to my iPod and have just the new songs be added to the "AAA" playlist on my iPod.
Hopefully there something I'm overlooking and therefore a way to constrict what is added to the iPod. If you know how to do this, please let me know because this would make iPod music management just as great as iTunes management.

I turned off "manually manage music and videos" years ago and sync my iPods by syncing "selected playlists". Any playlist changes I make on the Mac are automatically synced to the iPods when connected.

Body of email is being duplicated when I send attachments and copy someone

When I send emails with attachments, the outgoing message goes out as one email, however, what I type is duplicated. This only happens if I copy someone else in that email (like myself). If I send a message with an attachment and I copy myself, I notice that when I open that mail in a different email application (Eudora for example), the message I sent is duplicated. For example, If I write a message that has "Dear Tom, thank you for writing. Attached is your invoice." and I send that mail to Tom and copy myself, and I open that mail in Eudora, I see that message as one incoming piece of mail, but it has the message to Tom listed twice in that same email. It will only have the attachment listed once, however my message to Tom is listed twice. I am not getting two emails, I am getting one email, but the message looks like I typed the same sentence twice. Now, if I do the same thing, but I don't have an attachment, I do not see the message twice.

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup
Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ does not exist.

Photo folders being duplicated when I sync from iphoto using iTunes

I have lots of photos in albums and have only a few selected to sync with my iphone5 in itunes. The sync works ok, but I think I'm getting duplicates of the photos. Each folder I have selected shows up in the iphone PHOTOS app seprately, plus each photo shows up in the default PHOTO LIBRARY folder on the phone. I'm not sure if the photos are actually duplicated, but I thought the iphoto folders would be created as-is in the PHOTO LIBRARY folder? Am I reading the documentation wrong or am I doing something wrong? Are these photos on my phone twice, taking up extra storage?

That's the way it works, & there is nothing wrong. iPhone organizes photos the same way iPhoto does on a Mac. All photos synced to your phone appear in your "Photo Library". The photos in the various albums/folders are not duplicates, rather they are pointers to the actual photos, which, again, are in your Photo Library.

SharePoint 2010 List - Append Changes to Existing Text - multiline text fields being duplicated

SharePoint 2010 - I have this same problem for all Lists that use the combination of 1) Multi-line text column; 2) Column is set to "Append Changes to existing text"; 3) Text choice = Plain Text or Rich Text or Enhanced Rich Text. 4) List item is modified
in datasheet view
Each time a list item is modified in datasheet view, if the multi-line text column is left blank it will have it's previous value duplicated. For example - If I'm updating a list item in Datasheet View and updating a column other than this column
I described above, each time I make an update to the list item the previous value/comment left by someone else in that column will be duplicated with my name attached along with the date.
Why is SharePoint duplicating the contents of this field??

In my testing I noticed that a list item that is modified in standard view (not datasheet view) will not duplicate the value of the Comments field if left empty. Once the item has been modified in standard view I can make changes to that list item in datasheet
view and the Comments field won't be duplicated...
Any ideas?

I think I have identified exactly when/how this happens. It was happening to us, I found this post, and then I did further testing based on your note that it only happens when using datasheet. Thanks so much for that lead!
In my example below, "status note" is the column where we use MLT w/ append comments. Here's what I found in my testing:
If I used datasheet to edit an item, and the LAST edit made to that item did not include a status note, then no duplicate status note was created when I made my edit.
IF, however, the last edit made to the item DID include a status note, my edit (no matter WHAT I was changing, no matter if the view included the status note column or not) created a duplicate of the previous status note.
Try it out and see if that works the same for you. You can even tell easily if you show the column in the datasheet view. If, when you go to make your edit you see content in that column, you know your edit will include a duplicate of that MLT content. If
you see it is blank (meaning that last time someone made an edit they did not change that MLT column), your edit should be fine and create no duplicate.
PS- editing in the editform creates no problem whatsoever. The problem definitely seems specific to the way Datasheet handles edits.

HELP - How do you Merge 2 Users to one without the stuff being Duplicated?

my friend that helped me with my computer today with her mac computer a while ago her computer crashed and she got a new mac and now for some reason on her computer she had to create a new user so meaning for certain stuff she had to switch back and forth between the 2 users and she wanted to Merge 2 users, on Mac but the First was from back up and the Second is the new user I had to set up and the new user is the most current one and the other thing is she does not want the stuff duplicated so how do you merge them

You can just drag any of your data from the Documents folder to the Shared folder. Then, when you log in as the other user it will be available and you can drag it into the new Documents folder. If you're looking for other preferences or Application Support it gets tricky to do by hand.
What I'd do is start over if it's new. Just boot into boot up holding command-r keys into your Recovery Volume.
Then choose Utilities > Disk Utility, erase the volume and reboot. This will be an Internet Recovery and will take a while. Then, the first time the user boots the machine, while still in Setup Assistant when prompted do the migration and all will be fine.
