Tags are not transferring over to other computer using same login

I use two computers to access the same email account on Thunderbird. I have the same tags set up on both. For over a year now I have been able to tag an email on one computer and it will appear tagged on the other computer as well. However, just recently this has stopped happening. The tags I have applied on one computer no longer show up on the other computer. Any ideas on how to fix it?

If you create a new folder with one message, then tag it, does the tag appear on the other computer? Since tags are stored in the folder index files, the non-working folders may have corrupted indexes (which might be fixed by right-clicking the folder, Properties, Repair Folder). Backup first in case the Repair function misbehaves.

If it appears to not be making any progress even though you have a strong wifi signal, sometimes turning the phone off, then back on will get things going again. Otherwise about all you can do is try restoring the backup again. If you still have the old phone, you could also try creating an iTunes backup, then restoring that backup to your new phone.

I have made a website and I have noticed that some fonts and some background shapes are not correctly displayed on other computers (non Mac users).

It's not a browser issue per se either.
You see the Font because the font is your computer. The same font has to be on the computer of your visitor.
iWeb use a substitute font based on a font list it uses. If that substitute font is missing too, the browser chooses a similar font, which is not always the one you want.
You can force your font to display on a PC (but not with Internet Explorer) using a custom stylesheet with an embedded font. See it here :

Some songs not transferring over to new computer

Some of my music will not transfer over to a new laptop. Some of the songs were purchased or downloaded 5 years ago when I had a different apple ID account and different laptop. All computers have been "authorized" (I have 4 out of 5 authorized) but whenever I sync, about 50 or so songs will not transfer over. I try syncing and transferring purchases but nothing works.
Any ideas?

Make sure that you have "Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases" enabled in your iTunes preferences by going to iTunes > Preferences in the Store tab and clicking OK.

RoboHelp 8 - All files are not transferring over

When I upgrade a file to RoboHelp 8, the file does transfer over; however, the contents within that file does not come with it. RoboHelp will show the Icon with the name of the file. So, there is no table of contents.
Is there a remedy to this? How can I get the files to come with the folder? I am using my local drive.

Hmmm, it sure would seem the project is open, eh?
Perhaps try reinstalling RoboHelp? Sounds like something got
clobbered somewhere along the way. Also, from what you have
reported you were formerly working on a network resource? If so,
ouch - not good - always better to work locally! From what you have
described it would almost seem that your RoboHelp project has
somehow managed to be created using absolute references for the
topics. That would seem odd because RoboHelp normally creates
relative things. However, we have seen all sorts of weirdness when
you work off a network. That's just one of the reasons we advise
against it.

Data are not transfered to a table view using signal out

Hi all,
we have recently upgraded to SP16 and I'm now facing a problem on my model that worked fine when we were on SP15.
I have a data service returning data to my model. The data are transfered to a signal out element and then displayed into a table view using a signal in element. Now the table view remains empty.
I have checked that the dataservice returns data because if I directly connect my table view with the dataservice the data are displayed. But my requirement is to use signal in/out elements.
This error was not appearing in SP15.
Any ideas?

After doing some tests I found out that if you have a model that has more than 2 signals in/out then the 3rd one will not work. This is definitely a bug.
Hope that soon there will be a SP without any new bugs!

Anchor tags are not working on internet explorer when using touch devices

Hi,
I have a simple anchor tag like <a href=http://www.google.com></a>
Using a mouse there is no problem but when I use a touch device (windows 8.1/windows Phone 8.1), all that will happen when people touch it is that the link will be highlighted.
I don't want to highlight it, I just want the link to open.
Double clicking the link will zoom in the page. It takes several attempts tapping the link to actually open it... this is VERY frustrating.
How can I remove this highlighting non-sense?
I found an article that seems to indicate this was done on purpose:

It's a total failure if you ask me and it is very frustrating to use my site on a touch device.

So you would probably be better off posting in a Sharepoint forum. They would be more familiar with all the products involved. This is an example where newsgroup cross-posting would be useful but it does not exist in forums.
Otherwise, sounds like you are going to have to find the implementation involved and then devise a workaround for it. Is there a publicly accessible example of the coding used for what you are seeing? You could use the Developer Tools (or View
Source) to try to look at it yourself.
For a guess it may involve Active Scripting. If the link can be used even if Active Scripting is disabled you could achieve that result simply by changing the security level or zone that the site is regarded with.
BTW with your example link above I have the opposite problem. I can't touch it to try to select it without launching it. Here's a workaround for that: select a word before the link, use the selection's wheels to extend it to include
the link, then reduce it to include only the link, then, I can use press and old on the selection without launching the link. (In fact since I always leave press and hold disabled I used my pen with its right-click barrel button to see the selection's
menu though if I use my pen's barrel button, I don't need to make the selection to see just a reduced menu which would be sufficient to use the link.) In any case, I imagine that just as I can do a press and hold on the selected text of
the link without launching it you may just as easily be able to do a press and hold to see the selection's menu to allow you to launch its link.

I have a question. How to make all classes in a same package visible to each other? For example, I have two classes below, T1.java and T2.java:

I create a directory named thesis and put T1.java and T2.java under this folder. But when I try to compile T2.java, it give me error message, seems that T2.java cannot recognize T1.class.
So, can anyone solve this problem for me. Thanks in advance.

Make sure your classpath env variable is set correctly!
to compile these classes you should have something like:
C: > javac thesis\T2.java
if your classpath is set up correctly (default is CLASSPATH=.) then the above command should work.
If your still having problems, try:
C: > javac thesis\*.java
or compile T1.java first.

You are syncing contacts or trying to sync contacts how - direct with a supported address book app on your computer via the iTunes sync process, which is selected under the Info tab for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?

For the avoidance of doubt, are the photos actually in photo stream on your iPhone or just in your camera roll?
If they are in photo stream, then you might try turning photo stream off and on again on both devices, restarting both devices before enabling photo stream once again.

Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Mouse
And edit your mouse settings to do what you want it to do.

Third, from my understanding, it would appear you are concerned about the noise the hard drive makes when it falls asleep? Why not put your machine in screen saver mode instead? Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Energy Saver turn off all Energy Saver settings, or set them to run Never.
Fourth, if your machine was purchased just a few days ago, you may still be able to get an exchange from the store, quicker than you can get a repair done. You may want to look into that possibility.
Fifth, it does appear you found the Logic forum. I would persist in asking there how to solve your technical issue with Logic regarding the audio. It may be you don't have to do anything special to the hard drive. Remember audio can be transmitted by wire, avoiding ambient sounds.

Thanks for the support but I had already tried this . Again did it as you advised. Still not able to connect the ipad mini with Bluetooth.
Could it be that some app is causing issue. I can connect my car and computer over Bluetooth but not ipad mini.
On the other had ipad is connecting to other iPhone but only not mine.
Still showing ipad not supported message. And also shows not paired.
Please help.
