Tags not exported to flickr

Hi!
Perhaps it´s me not seeing it, but when I export photos from Photos to Flickr it is not bringing the tags over to Flickr. Why? - or is there a way of making it doing it??
Kind regards
Henrik

Good day ozbogwam,
Unfortunately, tags are currently designed to help an individual user organize their files. There are no shared tags at this point.
From the Acrobat.com Help file, here's how you can use tags:
Organize files using tags
Use tags to categorize files you have access to. You can tag files stored anywhere in your organizer. Adding a tag to a file or removing a tag from a file does not change its permissions or its location. For example, tagging a file stored in a shared workspace does not change who can access the file. Nor does it change permissions for other individuals with access to the file. A file can have multiple tags for quick access. For example, you can tag a file as “Work” to signify that this file is work-related. You can tag the same file as “Urgent” to signify that the file requires immediate attention.
In the organizer, the Tags pane contains some predefined files tagged as Getting Started. Files that have not been tagged and are not part of a shared workspace are listed in Uncategorized Files. The tags you create are listed in alphabetical order.
In the Tags pane of the organizer, click New Tag.
Enter a name for the tag and press Enter.
Tag files using any method described in the onscreen instructions. If you use the file context menu to tag a file, you can tag it with multiple tags. You can also create a tag from the dialog box.
A file can have one or multiple tags.
Delete or rename a tag by opening its context menu and selecting the appropriate command.
All that said, I think this is an excellent feature request and I'll be posting a link to this thread within the Acrobat.com Ideas forum.
Kind regards,
David

  • Is it possible to add "faces" as tags  when exporting to Flickr?

When I export photo's from Aperture to Flickr using the built in flickr uploader, it does not seem to send to Flickr the data from "faces". Is there anyway to send the faces data as tags to Flickr?

Did you check the default workspace participant roles, if not have a look at it. User who got ability to upload content will be able to download content as well. I'm not aware of any ways by which we can restrict this.
ACL's can be used to selectively hide folders in a workspace. Have a look at the following documentation for setting folder level ACL's

    I am running OSX10.8
    I have tried ren
    install modules etc nothing works
    Can anybody help me please.
    Andy

You should get that without any issues.
What option do your get under BR CS6->File>Export To?
Do you anything there that says servcices?
It may happen that those services did not load properly.
So, go to Essentials Workspace-> Export Menu(at the Left Bottom)->Check if you see any option that says "Restart needed"->Click that and restart Br CS6 and then check again.
Let us know in case of same issue.

  • GeoLocation not exporting to Flickr

I have the Eye-Fi SD card that does auto-geotagging. When I upload the pictures to iPhoto, they are all geotagged, but when I export the images and then upload them to Flickr, they geotagged info isn't making its way up there. Any ideas how to fix this?

I figured it out. Flickr has a setting that I needed to change on their site to auto-import Geolocation data on files I upload. That fixed it.
    Thanks

  • TOC in PDF does not include Link OBJR tags when exported from InDesign

I'm using InDesign CS6 to export a book file to a tagged PDF. When I run the accessibility checker in Acrobat 9, I get errors about items not being contained in the Structure tree. These missing items are links for the TOC and the Index page numbers. When I look at the tags, the Link OBJR tag is missing for these elements. I can't possibly manually add them all in. Other links e.g. cross-references, hyperlinks, automatically include these Link OBJR tags when exported. Why does the TOC and Index not do so?
I've asked this question in the InDesign Forum and no one seems to know. If I don't put these tags in, what does that mean for accessibility of the document?
    Thanks for your help

Glad you found something that worked.  For the future ... I found that if you create the PDF from BOOK and following these steps you can get the hyperlinks to automatically tag.  This will work if you are getting editable hyperlink boxes for the TOC -- I find that it is creating these (although I could swear it didn't earlier).  Anyway:
    1. Select all chapters in the book and create PDF with hyperlinks and bookmarks. Save as TEST.PDF
    2. Open the PDF and in the Pages Panel extract the page or pages containing the the TOC from the PDF.  Save this as TOCtest.pdf
    3. Delete the Tags from the TOCtest.pdf file --  in the Tags Panel, select the Root tag, right click and select delete
    4. Select Add Tags to Document to this same file.
    5. Examine the tags to see if all the OBJLINKs are tagged. Repeat steps 3 and 4 again (sometimes it doesn't autotag correctly the first time).  You may have to manually correct some of the structure -- headings and/or artifacts on these pages.
    6. Save again.
    7. Go back to the main document TEST.PDF -- delete the TOC page or pages from that document (assuming you didn't when you extracted.)
    8. On the pages panel, Insert from file and choose TOCtest.pdf -- insert before the first page.
    9. This will bring in the newly tagged TOC and it's tags HOWEVER the tags will be out of order in the tags panel. They will be at the bottom and you will need to find them and MOVE them where they should be.
Still more effort than you should have to but it worked for me.
Not sure how to record a bug with Adobe, but my testing in CS5 shows that this is NOT a new problem.  CS5.5 did the same thing for me.

  • Export to flickr not creating a set

I thought that the new Flickr export was supposed to create a set for the album when it exported to Flickr, but when I do the export the photos come thru without being in a set.
    Am I missing something?

You took the correct first steps (good for you), the next thing to try is to create a new Account and test GB from there.

  • Table of Contents bookmarks not exporting to PDF (CS5)

I have a 200 page book made up of 15 documents.  I've created a table of contents based on paragraph styles and the TOC generates and formats correctly.  When I create the TOC, the Create PDF Bookmarks box is checked.  When I export the whole book I've tried it with Create Tagged PDF checked and unchecked.
After I export to PDF from the Book palette, the TOC items are links (at least they give me the pointer-hand icon) but they don't go anywhere.  The only one that does is the one in the same document as the TOC.  (I have tried the TOC both within a chapter and also in it's own document with no other links in it).  The behavior is the same in the Bookmarks pane - all are shown but only one works.  I've looked at several of the bookmarks' Properties > Actions.  It says its "Going to a page in another document" > (document-name-of-the-correct-chapter-but-with-pdf-instead-of-indd.pdf) > Page 1 (this is correct) > Zoom level: actual size.
This isn't right - it's pointing to an imaginary pdf that doesn't exist.  It should be pointing to page X in the current document.
    Here's what I've tried:
    * restarting InDesign
    * restarting my machine
    * deleting the TOC and regenerating it
    * generating the book with all documents open or all documents closed
    * moving the TOC to its own document
    * probably some other things I've forgotten in the struggle
All of the links and references in the individual documents are good.
I've looked around these forums and this seems to be an ongoing and unsolved issue for other folks using older versions.  This is the closest I came to finding an answer but ended up with an Adobe employee logging it as a bug in 2009.  Bookmarks not exporting from InDesign to PDF in CS4                     By (c_goates)
So here's hoping there is some new information.  I've been trying to get this to work for far too long and don't relish drawing bookmark boxes around all 55 of my text links.
    Specs: Max OS 10.6.6, CS5 (Version 7.0)
Sorry this is so long, but details help, usually.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

There are some known problems with bookmarks and CS5 as well. As far as I know, the 7.0.3 update won't fix them, but it does solve some other problems, so you should install it.

  • Missing location data when exporting to Flickr

I am running Yosemite on a new MacBook Pro using the latest version of iPhoto. I noticed that the location data (Places) which I painfully added in to each photo does not translate over when I export to Flickr. Everything else translates with no issues. I use the Share function directly from iPhoto application, not using a 3rd party app. I've use this method of export/sharing for years and location data has not been an issue before.

    Hi Sumit
Try to set the URL field with the RTF format. To do this try following:
    1. Right click the field->Format Field.
    2. Click the paragraph tab->Text Interpretation->RTF Text
    Now try to export it.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards
    Nikhil

  • Flash Player not working on Flickr MySpace ..

well, not sure if it's cos of this apple-adobe twist, nevertheless. since the last update to the latest version of flash player, i am no lonver able to watch videos on myspace or listen to music on the bands profiles. flash is workin fine on youtube. flash is not workin on flickr, where you can set the /show tag which previews a whole set nicely in gallery view.
so, everything was fine, before the flash player update, as promoted by adobe everywhere. click here, go get the update. i made the update and can't rid of the error. i tried everything now.
    reinstallation
    downgrade to older version
    upgrade to beta version
reinstallation and cleaning up all preferencies
    NOTHING is fixing this problem.
i've read about some global cache settings and cookie settings. the funny thing, i can not access those settings, guess why? right, it's made with flash. *ahhmm.
i really don't get it. why the hack is it workin' on some sites, but not on all sites?
PLEASE. every idea would be great.

See if anything in here helps http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html

  • Error TaskServerIP tag not found in Task XML - 11.3.1 FTF 1

Hi, I created long ago a preboot bundle which install a VHD folder. It was created under 11.2.3a if I remember correctly. It always works until now. Now, under ZENworks 11.3.1 FTF 1 when I configure my workstation to use this preboot bundle all I get is an error saying "Error: Task `ServerIP` tag not found in Task XML". If under the maintenance mode in the PXE I click F9 (Query for Work) again then I get "No work to do". And we have only 1 server at the moment! So what am I missing here? Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Problem solved. One of our tech pushed a new zmg file on the server and forgot to update the preboot bundle. It would have been more useful if the error message was less cryptic.
    Thanks anyway for the help!

  • Question rgd Jeffrey's Export-to-Flickr Lightroom Plugin

    Hi.
I stumbled across this plug-in in Scott Kelby's LR2 book, thought it was a cool feature, and was about to install it when I came across this:
"By authorizing this link, you'll allow Jeffrey's Export-to-Flickr Lightroom Plugin to:
Access your Flickr account (including private content)
Upload, Edit, and Replace photos and videos in your account
Interact with other members' photos and videos (comment, add notes, favorite)
Delete photos and videos from your account"
Is this really so? By adding this plugging I will give this Jeffrey access to delete my Flickr photos?
I'd really like to know before installing this thing.
    Thanks in advance,
    ole k

    I guess I was a bit confused by reading: "By authorizing this link, you'll allow Jeffrey's Export-to-Flickr Lightroom Plugin to: . . . . .
Delete photos and videos from your account", as if the plug-in sort of would have a life on its own and start deleting my files. Which, I see now, was not the case. See also my other two replies to this thread.
As for Flickr to delete (among other things) my files, I'm really not that worried, as I am an amateur with little or nothing to lose. It was the idea of having this 3-part program interfering with my photos which scared me off a bit, along with the fact that I only yesterday encounterd another LR plugin - from Adobes/Scott Kelbys site, which included two trojans. But it all seems sorted out now.
    Thanks,
    ole k

  • Edits don't export to flickr/facebook

To elaborate, I'm on Mac OS Mavericks with PSE-10. I can upload to both flickr and facebook, but it uploads the original (.CR2) file. When exporting to Flickr/Facebook, my photos show up as originals, not the edited version, even though the edited version appears in my PSE-10 organizer window. What am I doing wrong? The edits were simple; photos opened in the "white window" (to adjust color, exposure), then clicked "done" to return to the organizer, where they appear in edited form.  However, when I export from the organizer to flickr or facebook, the unedited version appeared on those sites. This is most noticeable in a night-shot, where I adjusted the color from 5050 to 3200 to cool the picture. Any help/suggestion is appreciated.

I am guessing here but I suspect that option has been removed as Apple have discontimued iWem and dont want to provide an  iWeb function.
Im unable to comment on HTML export as its working for me, but I have not upgraded to the latest version due to the amount of problems it is causing users.

There is no export to Flicker/Facebook in Photoshop perhaps you have Photoshop Elements. Element may have a feature like that. Ask your question in that forum Photoshop Elements

  • Location data not uploaded to flickr ?

am i right in assuming that when uploading to flickr from iphoto, that the map places are not uploaded to flickr with the image ?
i tested one that has been placed on the map in iphoto, but when viewing the image in flickr there is no location info on the image.

I haven't started using "Places" yet (haven't assigned location data to any photos), so I can't answer for sure.
BUT, I did notice a preference ("iPhoto->Preferences->Web") called "Include location information for published photos". It defaulted to UN-checked when I first went to that preference page.
I'm guessing that if you check this, location data will be exported to flickr/facebook. Just a guess, though.

  • Toolkit for createJS not exporting javascript code within /* js */

    Hi
I've tried everything but Toolkit for createJS is not exporting any of the javascript code entered.
    For example:
    /* js this.onClick = function() { this.gotoAndPlay(0); } */
    or
    /* js alert("Hello World!"); */
in the javascript file is exported as
    // timeline functions:
    this.frame_39 = function() {
I am using the latest toolkit and have re-downloaded it but the problem still persists.
    Thanks
    Harry

No you're suposed to be able to export code too by placing it within /* js */ tags.
It creates a timeline function as above but doesn't place the code i've written inside.
Without this i would have to add the javascript after every update/export from flash..
