Is is possible to take one of our 4 phones of our plan while our daughter is in school overseas and then reinstate it when she returns. I know I have done this by calling but its so hard to get to a person that I was wondering if it can be done on line. I don't want to loose that number as when she lands back in the usa it may be in another state and I want to activate it before she lands back and be able to know she has the same number.

You can suspend the line (with or without billing) for up to 180 days each year And yes, if you are the Account Owner and logged in as such, you can put the line on suspension via your on-line MyVerizon account.

Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
This happens the same whenever I try to install.
To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
My plugin is still showing as out of date.
Is there anything you could suggest. Thanks for your time.

If the center portion of the monitor is flickering then your GPU on the logic is bad or (unlikely given this symptom) that your monitor cable is pinched/damaged.

Tonight I had two irate people call me minutes apart saying I called them - I was eating dinner with my wife with my phone turned off in our eye-sight.

Depends on how long your phone is in Airplane mode, and your carrier's policies. Any iMessages sent to you are only kept on Apple's servers for 24hrs, then deleted. Most carrier's have similar polices regarding SMS's, but they vary, carrier-to-carrier as to how long SMS's are kept before deletion.

When your device is connected, check the tabs at the top ("Summary" "Apps" "Music," etc. Under the Music one, check to see if "Sync Music>entire music library" is checked. If it is, that may be why all the songs are syncing.

If draining and charging ultimately wears battery down, could i leave it plugged to charger during the day at my desk? This would seem to cut down charging cycles, but maybe it introduces other problems.

Won't harm it all all, it stops charging when it is full.
Your lithium polymer battery does need exercise though, make sure to do a full charge cycle at least once per month.
