Take off iCloud account from a device

I had put my account info on my ex-boyfriend's son's iPod and now that we are no longer together, he is trying to take my info off to put his on. We can't get my account or my iCloud info off. Can someone please let me know how to remove my info and put his on?

On the iPod go to Settings>iCloud and at the bottom of the page tap the Delete Account button.
Or on the device simple goo to Settings>General>Reset>Erases all content and settings and let them set up the device with their Apple ID and media.

Nothing deletes from cloud, just photo stream is reset and starts over on that device if you sign in again  everything else stays in.

  • Can i re-add my device to my icloud account from another device ?

i lost my iphone 4s ios 7.0.1 it was stolen . i signed in to my icloud from another device and tried find my iphone the mobile was offline but i requested erase my iphone then i knew that after erasing i wouldn't be able to locate it  i read that no way to stop the erase request ( even if it isn't erased yet ) but i read that i can stop erasing by deleting my device from account . if i deleted it can i re-add it by any way or is there any way to stop erase request ?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Some have reported that removing the device from Find my phone stops the erase command, however I haven't verified this.
If you remove a device from Find my phone, there is no reason it can't be added back at a later date, but this must be done from the phone itself.

  • How to delete friends iCloud account from my devices?

My friend used my computer to log into her iCloud on messages, online and in every way you can. All of our devices have now synced. She has my bookmarks on safari and I have hers. How do I stop this?

If it is currently syncing that means the are using your iCloud account.
Change you iCloud password.  The one you use for iMessage if that one is different.
If they just got the info from a sync, there's not much you can do it's already on their device.

  • Unable to access my iCloud account from any device?

I am unable to log into my iCloud account through the web and apps on iOS and OS X that's connected to iCloud... Now I'm being disconnected from already logged in apps and is making reenter my password, but even when I do, it gives me an error. On the website all it says is 'iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to server'. But when I tried using my old iCloud account, it was easily accessible... Can somebody help me out? This is very inconvenient...

What will happen if I delete my husband's iCloud account from my iPad?

You can delete the iCloud Account from your device but that doesn’t delete your account on iCloud.com. You can still use the user name and password you selected when signing up for iCloud to log in on the iCloud website.

  • How do you take off reseiving messages on multiple devices using the same apple account

How do you take off reseiving messages on multiple devices using the same apple account?

Go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive on all but one device and add a unique email address on each device and delete the commone Apple ID email device
If there is also an iPhone with iOS 6 associated with the Apple ID, uncheck the phone number on all but the phone.

  • I have 2 iCloud accounts. 3 devices use one of them as a primary account; my iPhone uses the other as a primary account so I can't stream photos from iPhone etc. What to do?

I have 2 iCloud accounts. 3 devices use one of them as a primary account; my iPhone uses the other as a primary account so I can't stream photos from iPhone etc. What to do?

Sorry, yes indeed you can do that, I thought you wanted to keep the accounts the way they are now and also share photo stream between all devices, which of course is not possible.
In order to login to the account you are currently logged in to as a secondary account, as a primary account, and vice versa, you will need to delete both accounts from that device and then log back into them with the correct account as a primary (settings > iCloud) and the correct account as a secondary (settings > mail, contacts, calendars).

  • TS4006 My Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation was stolen if the thief signed out of my iCloud account on the device will it go away on the web map on my computer and keep me from locking it remotely?

My Apple iPod Touch 4th Generation was stolen if the thief signed out of my iCloud account on the device will it go away on the web map on my computer and keep me from locking it remotely? I was asking my grandmother who works in apple tech support at at&t but she didnt know. so im hoping somebody will come by and say yes to my question because my iPod touch is still appearing in my iCloud.com account.

Yes. If it was signed out from iCloud, it will disappear from the Devices list in Find my iPhone.

  • Unable to delete icloud account from device after Apple ID change

I recently changed my apple ID from my corporate account to a personal address but forgot to log out of icloud on my ipad.  The icloud account on the device is still linked to the old apple id and so cannot delete it as unable to authenticate.
I am unable to use the work around of changing my apple id back to the original address as it not longer exists (left the company)
I am also unable to reset my ipad entirely (as I did to resolve the issue on one of my iphones) as it also still tries to authenticate against the original Apple ID.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi,
I know to Id.  To clarify
My old Apple ID was myname@workemail
I changed the account to have the Apple ID myname@personal email.
To change the Apple ID back to myname@workemail the email address needs to be valid?
The email account address myname@workemail is no longer valid so if I need to verify it I can't.  If I don't need to use a valid email address as my Apple ID it resolves the problem. (On iOS 7.0.4)
    Thanks!

  • After deleting iCloud and Apple ID accounts from the device, the new user sees the e-mail addresses, whom I wrote earlier letters

After removal of the iCloud account on iPad and exit all my Apple ID accounts on the device iPad 4, which is used now by another person with other account when he write a new e-mail message the other person sees my contact address. What you need to do to other people could not see my contacts? At the same time they are not in the phonebook

To fix, first remove your secondary e-mail address that was @mac.com via appleid.apple.com.  This should get rid of that email address (but not the ID).
Then delete your iCloud account from your iPhone and reactivate it using @me.com as your Apple ID.
The Apple ID will remain as @mac.com but when you access iCloud Account Information, the Advanced part says "Mail : @me.com".
    Hope this helps.

  • If I delete the iCloud account from an iPhone am I deleting permanently or only on the device?

I am using my mum's old iPhone with her iCloud account. if I delete it from there am I deleting permanently or only on the device?

I would also like to know the same thing, but according to a post i have about my stolen iphone the responder said you can't delete an icloud account and it will always be in the icloud. below is the answer I recieved about still being able to sign into my icloud account after my phone has been stolen three months later(cause I was led to believe your credentials leave your phone after it is wiped by a thief, therefore one would think you couldn't sign in anymore and still try to track your phone although says constantly offline) but gathering from what this person has said to me it sounds like your just deleting it from the device. I don't know if this answer helps you, but i hope it does
Your iCoud account remains in iCloud even if your device is restored.  (In fact, you can't delete an iCloud account from iCloud, you can only choose to stop using it.)  If the device is restored, or it may no longer be signed into your iCloud account but your account will still exist in iCloud.
