Taking a picture of my screen to post on discussion board

I'm having trouble with strange things happening to my screen on my iMac. The video sometimes goes haywire but it's hard to describe in this forum. Is there anyway I can get a screen shot of my screen to post into these message boxes? I've seen people do it, I just don't know how. Perhaps if someone sees what is going on with my screen they could help me out. I have already reinstalled Leopard, but still have the same problems.

I have attached a file that has a photo of what's happening to my screen. Please click on the link. Haven't figured out how to embed it yet. This happens all the time. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it just stays there. The photo is of my Apple Mail program. Mail is not the only program that does it. Seems any program will do it. I've done a reinstall of my Leopard, and also checked Permissions, etc. Very strange. Thanks for everyone's help.

Taking a picture from lock screen automatically unlocks phone?

I noticed that when you bring up the camera to take a picture from the lock screen it automatically unlocks the phone without having to put in the number code. Is this just a tech. fluke or is there some way to avoid this (in case a phone is stolen, etc)

We are facing issue while replying to a post in Discussion board using Anonymous access users in Sharepoint 2013.
WE are able to post a discussion using anonymous acess but not able to reply to the discussion post.
Steps Performed - :
1. Enabled Anonymous access at Web application Level .
2. In SiteCollection > Site Permissions > Anonymous Acess > Enable for List and Libraries .
3. Disable ViewFormPAgeLock Feature .
4 .Go to Discussion board List >Permissions > Break Inheritence .
5 . Given Add ,Edit and View item permission to anonymous users .
6 . "Create and edit all items " Discussion Board Library Advanced Settigs .Infact ,Neither option is working .
Please suggest if we are missing soming .Please help

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that when you went to the Discussion List and selected the thread then view the list in “Flat” view, the Spelling ICON was greyed out.
By design in SharePoint, when you view the list in “Flat” view, the ribbon would be as below:
Only when you add a reply and move the mouse to the content, the Spelling ICON will appear.

Double tap Home button and delete Camera app from multitask-list.

I broke my ipod a few months ago, but I got it fixed for my birthday. The wake/sleep button was permanently broken though and my ipod still has glithces in which it randomly takes pictures of what is on the screen. These glitches have been small until today when I was using it. When I pressed the home button, it took a picture of the screen and it has been continuously doing that for about and hour now. What can I do to fix it? Please help.

I have an iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.0.1 with this same issue.
When the phone is locked and has been left unattended for a while, sometimes when I first press the home button (to illuminate the screen ready to unlock it) it causes the phone to take screen capture.
My power/lock button is not stuck, as I can use it to lock and unlock the phone as normal. There is however one oddity in that if I power of the phone it cannot be power back on by pressing the power button! To power up the phone it has to be plugged into a charger, which (thankfully) automatically causes the phone to power on.
I'm sure the two issues are related, but I've even after replacing the flex cable that operates the power button, headphone jack, volume buttons and mute switch I've been unable to resolve either the screen capture issue or the powering on issue.

Call Display Picture Always Full Screen (I don't want that)

There are a few discussions about this, but they all seem to be over 4 years old, and I still have the problem. (Please read the whole explanation, as I've tried several fixes already)
I am extremelly picky with my computer and phone "stuff". Ever since I've owned my iPhone I've made it a point to add a picture to every contact I have.
Early in my iPhone ownership I realized that if you add a picture directly from your iPhone (wether is taking it directly from the iPhone cam while adding the contact or choosing from the library) such picture shows FULL screen when I call that person or when that person calls me. If I simply open Address Book in my Mac and "drag" a picture (say for instance from Facebook) into the picture section of that contact and then synch, then when I make or receive a call from that person it shows small and I still see my wallpaper on the background.
Well THAT's what I want (just like in the Appple commercials), I DON'T want the full screen picture.
Now here's THE PROBLEM;
For some reason NOW, I STILL add pictures the SAME WAY (I go into Facebook, and drag the picture into Address Book) but when I make or receive a call from that person the display picture ALWAYS shows full screen!! It's annoying the heck out of me!!
The ONLY thing different is that now my contact are synched thru iCloud as opposed to synching using a USB cable in iTunes, HOWEVER, SOME contacts show how they are supposed to show (even adding them thru iCloud), but MOST others don't! I feel I should add that ALL contacts I had BEFORE I strated synching with iCloud still show fine, the ones that have a problem are MOST (but not all) of the ones I added AFTER I started synching thru iCloud. And the fact that a few worked fine leads me to believe there's got to be a way of making them all show small.
Anyone has any idea of how to keep them ALL the same?

OK, that's interesting. Now, how do I get all of my contact photos into iPhoto? And do I have to do this one contact at a time, or is there a setting where I can "import all". Furthermore, once all photos are in iPhoto and I select "Import Face from iPhoto" can I do such actions for all contacts at once or do I have to do them one at a time?

Zooming when taking a picture

No, but you can use any picture editing tool to crop out the bars. (Many are free in the App Store.) Me personally, I use PhotoPad, which I use to crop as well as rotate the screen shot. Takes less than a minute to do both with PhotoPad.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 not taking out pictures

I have my camera since 2010. lastweek I tried taking out pictures and realise I wasnt getting a focus but I took a picture. Now today, I am pressing the shutter button but nothing.
I have a stock lense EFS 18-55MM and its on the Canon EOS Rebel T3.
I took the lense out and cleaned the contacts, and replaced the lense, this did not helped. I also did a manual reset on the features but that didnt help either.
Please help me.

Indded I understand the underexposure and I have been taking pictures since 2010 with this Camera, no problems. I used the stock settings and after doing my course, i understtod the aperture, shutter speed and ISo, however I just dont understand how I can pickup my camera and it stop taking Pictures.
I have gone thru all the basics to ensure in ruling out the possibilites. I am surrently reading back all my notes and refreshing my memories about it all. Its always good to refresh the memory.
I willcontinue researching and understanding some more. I still unclear why my camera is behaving such way. I intend to get to the bottom of this. I am a photography and I need my camera to shoot.
I am going to try and change the exposure to not underexpose to be be normal. I usually shoot in Manual since i have freedom of my shoots. I have perfected in shoot in this mode, but what are the odds.
So i tried shooting on Program mode and its working perfect, I come to the conclusion that my manual mode is screwed up. I did however had my brother use my camera a day but i was present, now i have to backtrack and see what he did in Maunal mode. Thank very much for helpingme out,

T2i Taking Overexposed Pictures than Previewed

I've been using the t2i for about a year now, and it has been working great for me. Quite recently I've bought a Rokinon 85M-C 85mm F1.4 lens. I've used it for one whole day, and it worked great. The next day my cmaera have been taking overexposed pictures everytime I use the lens, yet the problem doesn't happen whenever I use my other lenses like my Canon 50mm f1.8. I ALWAYS use the manual mode. I always keep track of my ISO, shutter speed, and aperature. I use the histogram constantly. I point to the subject, properly adjust the exposure, check the histogram, and snap the picture. Then I check my picture to see that it is more exposed than it should be. Given the histogram of that resulting picture shows that it got over exposed. In order to get the proper picture with the Rokinon lens, I will have to underexpose in the preview and GUESS if it will be right or not. Setting the ISO or shutter speed to auto can work, but I hate using auto settings. I have reset my camera settings, but the problem presist. My metering mode is set to evaluative, so I don't think that the mode is the problem. My camera itself does not control the aperture of the Rokinon lens. The lens itself has the aperature ring. Please help!

This sounds like the aperture blades aren't working. When you rotate the aperture ring on the lens, do you see the blades constricting (you can likely see it if you look into the front of the lens.) Also... if you're looking through the viewfinder while you do this, you should notice the iamge is getting darker. With an EOS lens you can press the "depth-of-field preveiw" button on the camera (the DOF Preview is on the front of the camera located just below the lens release button.) The blades will only constrict while you keep the button pressed. But since the Rokinon doesn't have electronics to control that, it wont respond to the DOF Preview button. Incidentally, since you are using the Rokinon manual lens... be very careful about trusting the meter. Is the lens chipped at all (are there electronics?) Does the camera actually know and report the f-stop that the lens is using? If not, then you can't trust metering. If one lens' "wide open" is f/4 and a different lens' "wide open" is f/2.8 ... but the shot actually calls for using f/8 at your chosen shutter and ISO, the camera needs to be able to know what the current f-stop is when it is tryng to meter. I take images with my camera through the telescope, but when doing so I realize there is aboslutely no communication to the telescope ... you can't use the meter at all. It's completely manual. If the Rokinon lens isn't chipped and can't report it's current f-stop to the camera (e.g. when you look at the camera's f-stop while changing the aperture, do you see the f-stop value updating on the camera's display screen?) then you can't trust the meter.

Regarding Facetime on my Ipad. I get started on a call and after 10 or 15 minutes I cannot hear whom I am talking to. They can still hear me and I still have picture on the screen but my sound stops working.

How do I get a picture of my screen and then put it in a 'reply' email message? Please!

I need to take a picture of the screen showing my test results that I took on a website and then email it. When I click on my 'prnt scrn' button and then paste it into my email message it shows up correctly but then when I actually send the message, it shows up as just a bunch of letters and numbers. Current Firefox versions have a built-in feature to take a screenshot as part of the Web Developer Toolbar.

In ios 7.1 can i set my contact pictures to full screen?

i have this beautifully huge screen and this tiny picture.. i dont want to revert back to ios 7, but the tiny picture is really a deal breaker for me. i dont understand why this was changed. i really hope this is changable and someone can help me change it.
