Taking photos from iPod onto computer
How do I do it? I have about 96 photos on my ipod. I just reformatted my computer and I now want to take all the photos from my iPod and put them onto my laptop. I've looked at the guides and it really didn't tell me much. Can someone please explain?
Laptop Windows XPWelcome to Apple Discussions!
If you chose to copy full resolution versions, then you can easily get them.
Connect your iPod to the computer. Then open My Computer. Double click the drive representing the iPod. Open the photos folder. They should be there.
If not, you have to use a program like this...

You could search the internet via Google for some more options.

Taking photos from ipod to computer
i put some photos on my ipod from my friends computer and i couldnt figure out how to put them on my computer! so i was just wondering if anyone could tell my how if possible!
Well, as with any files from an ipod, transferring back to your computer isn't a feature you can process through itunes.
What I suggest, is open up your ipod as if you would open up your local disk drive (through my computer or explorer or what not), make sure to "show hidden files" and peruse through there for a "picture" folder
you should be able to transfer those pictures back that way, as they should be stored on there as they would be a thumb drive -
How do I delete photos from iPod Touch? Some photos do not have the trash basket option!
How do I delete photos from iPod Touch? Some photos do not have the trash basket option!
When I first synced my iPod Touch with my laptop, it uploaded a lot of photos onto the iPod. I now wish to delete those but it does not seem as a straight forward option! For photos synced to the iPod you have to unsync them:
To delete photos from your device
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Click Apply.

Is there any way to transfer photos from ipod touch (2nd generation
Is there any way to transfer photos from ipod touch (2nd generation & OS is 4.2.1) to PC? I am struggling a lot. The OS cannot be upgradable beyond 4.2.1
I am wondering if there could be many other ways to transfer the photos like:
1. with the help of any android app
2. ipod touch to iphone/ipod latest version
3. any 3rd party free softwares (there are paid 3rd party softwares but I dont want to invest)
I did try some of the options:
1. I could emailed only 6 photos in one email (I have almost 800 photos and would be time consuming.
2. I'm trying to access my google account on my ipod but it keeps coming up with "oops! your browser seems to have cookies disabled..." My cookies are not disabled. Safari is the only browser for ipod touch and could not be able to installed not only any new browser but also any iphone apps. Updates for the existing apps not possible at all. So this option of uploading the photos on google drive is ruled out.
Anybody is there to help me out? Sorry for such a long inventory.
Thank you!If they are in the iPod' Saved Photos album then:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
If they were synced to the iPod you need a third-party program like TouchCopy or PhoneView -

Transfering photos from ipod to computer?
Hello!
i used to sync my photos in ipod with my computer. But my computer crashed and i had to change a new computer.
Then, i realised that i can't transfer the photos that are already in my ipod to my new computer. The photos in ipod are in a file format that can't be opened (photo database).
Does that mean that my photos are stuck in the ipod forever? i can't view them with the computer and i can't sync photos with the new computer as i was warned that the old photos in my ipod will be deleted.
Can anyone help? Thanks!Hi, thanks for replying my question!
i saw in a post about "crashed computer" and found out that someone downloaded an application from http://www.mediafour.com/products/xplaypb/ and managed to transfer photos from ipod to computer. i downloaded it, but i still do not know how to do it.. sigh -
Transfer of photos from ipod to ipad via bluetooth, help
transfer of photos from ipod to ipad via bluetooth, help
The blluetooth isn't meant to do that. It's largely meant for headphones and keyboards.
now, if you have the camera connection kit you can attach your iPod to your iPad using that (plugging the iPod's charging cable to the USB part of the CCK) and the photos will transfer. I've done it with my Touch. -

How do I transfer photos from iPod to Airbook ?
how do I transfer photos from iPod to Airbook ?
The photos you synced to your iPod through iTunes are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnails of those photos. So if you do manage to get them off your iPod, they will be quite small in size compared to the original ones you lost.
In order to get them off of your iPod, you'll need the help of some sort of 3rd party software. Here is one option.

If they did happen to be full resolution photos, see this Apple support document.

I can't transfer my photos from iPod to pc.
When I transfer my photos from iPod to pc I can't open them. I have photoshop and ACDSee and other grafic programs but non of them can open the files. I need help. Please!
ThanksYou'll likely need the assistance of some third party software such as the one below to get the job done. Keep in mind that your photos will no longer be in their full resolution, but instead will be the scaled down thumbnail versions that were optimized for viewing on your iPod.

iPhoto [v 9.5.1] on MBP won't load photos from iPod touch Gen4 32GB, even if let run overnight and don't let machine go to sleep.
MBP has 8GB Ram and separate video card using 2.3 Ghx i7 processor ... so i don't think it is a hardware issue.Hello A_MadDog,
It sounds like you are not able to import photos from your Camera Roll on your iPod touch. I recommend following the steps in the article below for the issue you described:
