Taking Print of PO from tcode ME22N/ME23N

Dear Friends,
I have an issue in taking the print of Purchase order from tcode ME22N/ME23N,
After the approval of the PO, i can take the print out of the PO form the T code ME9F,
However am not able to take the print out of PO from the t code ME22N/ME23N,
In path : ME22N - Print Preview - Text - Print
Here the print button in in display(gray) mode, is there any configuration to activate this button so that i can take the Print out without using the tcode ME9F.
In did the print determination with out put type NEU, medium -1, application - EF, function - VN, date/time 3 and with language - EN.

ME21N, ME22N, ME23N call ME12 instead of ME13

Hi
Our users would like to be able to go from ME21N, ME22N, ME23N and directly to ME12, so that they can make changes in the info records.
As standard the transaction codes ME21N, ME22N, ME23N calls up ME13 which is display mode of the info recrod.
I have some concerns to make this change and that is weather the changes made in ME12 will take effect in ME21N if they are creating a PO and want to make changes to the info record.
The other thing is that it might be difficult to control the changes made in the info records if it is possible to do this "on the fly" and not consider the consequenses of the change, other than to satisfy and here-and-now need for a certain issue.
If we want to proceed with this, how would I do this the best way to call up ME12 in stead of ME13.

Hi,
I cant understand why you want to go to ME12 directly instead of ME13 from ME2*N transactions. In case the user want to change anything, he can go to menu - info record - change from ME13 directly. I dont think its worth spending time and effort to change it to ME12.
Even though you change anything in info record from ME2*N transactions, the changes wont reflect back to your PO. The changes will be reflected in new PO only, not in already created documents.

i had this message :

No output has been selected for printing on request.
Possible causes include:
o   Issuing to screen

             relevant document type in Customizing for output control.
o   Issuing to printer
-   No output types exist in the document or the existing output
             types do not have the status 0 (not processed).
-   The issuing time currently set for the output types not yet
             processed does not allow output to be issued on request (Timing
             3).
-   The output types in the document have not been assigned to the
             relevant document type in Customizing for output control.
Procedure
Check the above mentioned possible causes and make any necessary changes
     to the settings for output control in Customizing if you have the
     authorization to do so.

Print preview in ME21N/ME22N/ME23N

Hi!
In transactions ME21N/ME22N/ME23N we can see PO print preview after we click Print preview button.
Is it possible to deactivate upper toolbar in this preview??
Or deactivate: Go to -> 'View list' in this toolbar?

Now, I have another question:
How can I transport transaction variant assigning??
On developer system I created transaction variant, variant group and assigned users to it.
It works perfectly.
Transaction variant and variant group I assigned to Workbench request and transported it to Test System 1 (TE1)
Assigning user to variant group I assigned to Customizing transport and transported to Test System 1 (TE1).
However it doesn't work correctly on TE1.
I have to go again into SHD0 on TE1 and assign users to variant group. Then it works.
Now I have acces to TE1 to SHD0 but I will don't have it soon.
How can I transport transaction variant assigning??
How can I activate my variant globally? For all users??
I typed * in User field. Is it correctly??

You can tell that a certain message cannot be outputted by the fact that the Blocked indicator is set in the Additional details for the message.

Hi, i have a issue here regarding the extraction of cost centres from tcode me23n. I need to extract the cost centres from line item account assignment. I know I need to use ekpo-packno and esll-subpackno and then use esll-packno and i am stuck. So which is the next table? I managed to know eskn store the cost centres. Am i right?

How to restrict the upload file size in me21n/me22n/me23n?

I have a requirement to restrict the user from attaching a local file more than 20MB in Purchase Order.
In standard SAP system, the user can attach a file of any size in PO. How to restrict the size of the file?
I have no clue how to achieve this? Any kind of help would be great...

The file size is now restricted in function GUI_UPLOAD. But this function module is used at many places. I want to restrict it only for Tcode: ME22n and ME23n.
I thought of restricting it by sy-tcode field but sy-tcode value is not passed to this function module in the run time.
Could anyone help me on this how to restrict it for the above mentioned tcodes??

Print Jpeg files from SAP

Hi,
We have JPEG files (pictures) stored in Custom Z table (Cluster table). We would like to know how to print these files from SAP on to a certain printer.
We know that it is not possible to convert JPEG to BMP within SAP and print using SAPScript OR SmartForms.
We want to find out if there is any print command to print these files to SAP printer ?

I had checked this tcode earlier. However, I don't see any 'Print' jpeg or any other file functionality here. What SAP might be doing here is, allow upload of any document like excel, word or pic files (jpeg, gihf, bmp) and so on and just display.
I am interested in printing functionality without usng SAP Script OR Smartforms, because, when we get into it, we have to talk only TIF or BMP as JPGs are not supported.

It's not meant to support that. You can do a work around by taking a screen cap and then printing that. To take a screen cap push down the home and sleep button at the same time (like you'd press down a camera shutter)
The screen will flash white and you'll hear a camera sound. You'll find the screen cap in your photos app.

how often had you restarted ME21N before you posted this message?
In best case this message appears only once, because the program / or dictionary was changed while you executed ME21N
If many times, then contact your ABAPer, because then he probably did not transport all objects that were changed, or the objects have to be regenerated in your system.

Is there any way to print to cheque via Tcode FCHN?

Hi All,
From Tcode FCHN, once the report is generated, i would like to print the "name of payee" , "Amount paid (FC)" and "Pmnt Date" to a cheque.
For the "amount paid (FC)" which is in digits form, i would also need to convert into text/words.
and for the "Pmnt date", would need to convert it into DDMMYY from the DD.MM.YYYY in the report.
Is it possible?

is by default is deactivating .How to activate this button ? who will do this one (Abaper or basis guy).

So, as you see a field "from ... to ...", I think you are talking about the "background print parameters" dialog (this is not the smart forms print dialog, which contains field "page selection").
I don't understand. "Pages from ... to ..." is always displayed, and the user can enter them manually. Do you want to enter pages programmatically?
What is your code or the steps to display this dialog? Is it fully standard or do you use GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS programmatically?
