spent time with verizon people on phone. first, they said my phone is global ready. they said with wifi in hotel, I could use it for calls, texts, and email. However, no one seems to have info about how to charge the phone in Dubai...don't know if the galaxy s3 is dual voltage capable, etc. Any one already used this phone in Dubai? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks... I checked the plug on my charger and it is stamped "100-220V", so I suspect it will work fine. Dubai uses 220V. As for the plug adapter, do you carry your own or rely on hotels there to have a loaner? I've seen a few hotels in Dubai advertise both "115V and 220V" receptacles for charging. How to keep the field value in the forms for one week

I have an application that when the user logs on to it , it shows all the documents that are in the current dept.
the form has the following fields:
document no
sent date
assigned to
dep_LOV
and a check box
if a user clicks the check box and assignes the document to another dept by cliking the LOv then the assigned to field should be populated with the new value and the sent date should be today's date(sysdate). the requirment is that once the user assignes the documnet to certain depts (for example sales dept) the assigned to field and the sent date should show up in the form for one week and the user should be able to see that data in the form the next time she /he logs onto the application. the one week time is to make sure the documcnt has reached the assigned dept. after one week from today's date the updated assigned_to field and the document no should not display on the form. During the one week if the user logs on to the form again that particular document and the assigned to and sent to fields shoould be grayed out and shhould not be updatable. I will greatly appreciate any suggetion as of what to do to solve this problem. it is urgent. Pleade help

I used the NVL function so your select will show rows where sent_date is null OR sent_date has a value that is within 7 days prior to the current date.
What is the field :docs.assigned_to used for? If you want to include ONLY rows that are assigned to a particular person, then your where clause might be:

and you should have a control block with the assigned_to field in it, where the user can enter a value before querying the DOCS block.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Getting Blue Screen --I've Only Had the HP Mini 311 for One Week

Do you have an HP Mini 311? I have had my HP Netbook for one week and I keep receiving the blue screen. I installed Adobe Lightroom yesterday and I received it after the install.
Is this common with HP Mini 311s?

Try removing your sim and insert it again and make sure that its clean as well as the sim tray. insert it securely locked in place. See if it works, quick fix. If not try to use a different sim or try your sim to a different h/s. For you to be able to isolate if its with your sim or iPhone. Tricky Tips!

Yes, you can.
On you home computer, download and install the application from creative.adobe.com website.
On launch, it will prompt that it is already activated to 2 machines. Select the option to deactivate from already activated machines and use it on home computer.
After a week, use the same workflow to get the application working on laptop.

Mostly I work with ac power. Only sometimes I need the battery.
But when I use the battery, discharge it fully.
After that the battery is charged over night.
When my S3 is off for one week,
my battery is fully discharged and the S3 needs ac power.
Is that normal?

The fact is that battery looses the energy also if the notebook is disabled.
Im not sure about the time and how long should it takes.
The same thing happens on my old Satellite A50.
I thing it depends from the battery performance and how old the battery is.

How to keep logs for one week through sm36 jobs creation

As i define a job through sm36. Its logs removed next day , but its logs removed through sm37 through next days. But some of the job logs does not removed for even one week. can somebody be help me to sort it out . I want to keep job logs for one week then where i have to define it. If some job is defined which remove all these logs then where we have to define that these logs will remain for one week , because some of the job logs will remain there for one week.

please check the variants of the report used in the job SAP_REORG_JOBS. With the report RSBTCDEL2 you can specify very detailed how long logs should be kept for which jobs (e.g. depending on the job name or job class).

Apple has a D.O.A period. If something breaks within 14 days of purchase, it can be swapped for new.
So if it failed within 2 days of purchase, you should have had it swapped for a new one.
I would consider going to an Apple store instead, or contacting Apple online.

My Airplay icon has disappeared! It was gone maybe two months and then came back for one week. Now it is gone again. How can I correct this?

Thanks but I don't think this will help. Like I said, all of my add-ons were working fine and compatible until after running a previous version of FF. I am sure they are still compatible, but they are not working at all.

Options after new phone stolen (had for two weeks), and refurb doesn't work?

Back in November, I ran into some bad luck with Best Buy phone insurance, and wasn't due for an upgrade with Verizon until March. Long story short, I went into a Verizon store on Black Friday weekend to see what my options were, and walked away with a brand new Droid Maxx for only $40. It counted as my new upgrade, and I was thrilled.
Not two weeks after purchasing the new phone, it was stolen from me. I contacted the Asurion insurance company and shelled out $150 to have another phone overnighted to me. Much to my surprise, they sent me a refurbished Maxx with a small crack in one corner - clearly a great deal older than my two week old stolen phone. I decided to give the phone a chance, since I didn't have enough money for other options.
Now, nearly three months later, this refurb is not working out at all. The crack has grown, I can't do any hands free or voice activating calling/navigation, the speakers cut out periodically, and most of the time I can't hear out of them to the point where I have to use speaker phone, and then the people I'm speaking with can't hear me. To top it off, the usually fantastic and long battery life I enjoyed on the original phone are NOT present on the refurb. It lasts half as long, when it does bother at all to charge.
I work for a hospital and need to be on call nearly every day, and the needless quirks on this phone are making it very difficult to do so.
I am at my wits end, and would like to know what my options are. I did not pay almost $200 to insurance to have a subpar refurb for the next two years, and I cannot afford to pay $150 to Asurion for another refurb. If my money goes anywhere, I would like it to go to something that will last me the next two years. I realize that I am very lucky to even have a nice phone, but it is not meeting my needs and is risking my day job when the hospital can't get ahold of me readily.
What are my options? I am on family plan. Should I pull my number off the plan for my own? Try to qualify for Verizon Edge? Or take my number to another provider that will give me a new contract and a new phone? Thank you for your help in advance!

You should have arranged return of the damaged replacement to begin with right then. Too late for that though. At this point, you can buy a used phone on Swappa.com or elsewhere that is compatible to Verizon or buy full retail. I don't they will let you Early Edge right now being so close to having just upgraded.

We are facing one strange issue for one particular user id ( i.e for top management) ,when this user executes any of the report by in putting his own selection parameters say date 15.09.2009 and plant 1111 the output of the report is coming as 15.06.2009 to 19.06.2009 and the plant is also coming as 2222 instead of 1111.
I have checked it there are variants for this user id .
When i checked in the filters in portal it is showing for the cal day15.06.2009 to 19.06.2009,plant 2222,Materials Xyz,Keyfigures say Net amount only, nd more over its getting filtered onalso..... something there is a problem its taking automatic filter values.
What could be the issue does any one faced this kind of problem?
Pl help me out by providing your valuable inputs.

I'm thinking about the trophy, and I currently have an android phone. I like what I see while I play with it in the store, but obviously, I wouldn't know if it suits me unless I could use it as a primary phone for something like a week. I was wondering if Verizon offered such a service. Thanks!

When you purchase a new phone from Verizon you have 14 days to return everything, pay for the service you used, and go back to the way things were before the purchase. You can also exchange the phone within the first 14 days, but once you do the exchange, you keep the second phone with no option to return or exchange again - be sure it's THE ONE.
You would need to purchase or upgrade to the phone in question in order use it fully for a week, and then return or exchange it within the 14 day window.

I believe once you set and input the password on your iPhone it will NEVER ask you for it again, unless you restore your phone as a new device.
So, set a password, input it, then you shouldn't see that popup anymore.
