Taking time in updating the dml form

Hi friends
i have made a dml form and that form is updating one of my table. there is a report on basis of that from where one edit button is there. Once i am clicking the edit button it is redirecting me to the form of that record to edit the fields value. when i am trying to edit the field value it is taking time to update it. but this is working fine with development.
suggest something on this. what could be the reason?
Regards

Hi,
I do not think it relates to your Apex.
Do you have it in some other places?
Your DBA may investigate and put traces.
If you check Google on ora-02049 or Oracle docs about this error, you will be sure that it is on Db level

    Hi bH0n,
If you are still having issues with stuck or hung updates to your apps on your iPhone, you may want to try resetting your iPhone (as outlined in the following article) and see if the updates restart and complete:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

  • Extraction time while updating the data from update rule

    Hello Friends,
Can you please tell me that why it is taking more time while updating the data from update rule to data target.
I believe that it is taking 40% of total extraction time.
Is there any specific reason for it?
    Prompt reply will be appreciated.

  • IMac freezes while Time Machine updates the back up. What to do?

Ever since I upgraded to Lion my iMac freezes or nearly freezes for 5 - 10 minutes every hour while Time Machine updates the back up. What to do?
I have tried everything I can think of but its only improved from total freeze while Time Machine backs up to freeze with an occasional few seconds of activity.
I am really fed up with this.

When I first updated to Lion everything was a mess with freezes happenng constantly like every two or three minutes.  Then when looking at the app store I noticed in purchased items that Lion was showing install instead of installed so I downloaded and installed again.
After this install every time Time Machine updated a backup my iMac froze for about 5 or 10 minutes while the backing up was in progress.  I was getting really fed up and started this thread.  Then one morning I got up and the iMac would not start up.  It just sat there with the progress thingy spinning.  I started in T mode to look at it from my MacBookPro and two copies of the HD appeared. Both showing zero files.  I ran Disk utility on the MacBookPro to try to fix the disk.  It showed 8 copies of the disk and all not reparable.
I then created a startup USB drive using my MacBookPro, used it to start up the iMac and restored everything from the previous day's backup.  Since then it has been running smoothly with no freezes so maybe the answer is simply to restore a recent backup.
I am using Imation external drives and I don't believe the problem is drive specific.

  • I see there is another ios update. I have an iPhone 4S. The last time I updated the ios I lost all my contacts, as I had not been using the iCloud as a backup. I am now apprehensive about the latest update. How can I determine if contacts are backed up?

I see there is another ios update. I have an iPhone 4S. The last time I updated the ios I lost all my contacts, as I had not been using the iCloud as a backup. I am now apprehensive about the latest update. How can I determine if contacts are backed up?

You should never lose contacts under any circumstances.
Although contacts are included with the iPhone's backup, contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer where such important data should be available with or without an iPhone or any cell phone. Not a good idea to depend on a cell phone for such important data which can be lost or stolen or damaged beyond repair.
In addition, there are a number of free email accounts that support syncing contacts over the air including an iCloud account, Gmail, Yahoo, and Hotmail.
If you are not syncing contacts over the air with an iCloud account and not backing up your iPhone wirelessly with your iCloud account, your iPhone's backup is being updated by iTunes on your computer which is updated as the first step during the iTunes sync process.
With Windoze, contacts can be synced with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events, notes, and reminders, or with the address book app used by Outlook Express and by Windows Mail called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only. With a Mac, contacts can be synced with the Address Book app. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
If the supported address book app on your computer is not used and has no contacts available, before the first sync for this data enter one contact in the supported address book app on your computer. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select.

  • Why must I click the button two times to update the data?

    Dear All,
I have written a simple vi about event case. I have found that I must to click the button two times to updata the data. I don't know why.
And I can't use the stop button to stop the vi.
Could you tell me the reason?
    Thank you very much.

    event case.vi ‏42 KB

    Hi,
1 : you have a "timeout case" but no timeout linked, so you lose the advantage of the event structure !
2 : make a event for "stop" on value change
3 : its normal, because le control terminals were out of the event struct, run it in high light mode you'll understand
Remark : instead of having to clic a boolean to refresh the indicators, why don't you make a "value change event" directly on the control ?
I modified your VI following step 1,2,3 above
    Hope this helps

    Hi Raj,
I am using shared appl_top on NFS file system , and this patch is using the NFS file system . So this issue could be NFS file system.
when I am performing any write intensive operation on NFS file system it is taking huge time. adadmin utility is also taking muchtime to invoke.I also applied the same patch on a shared APPL_TOP but never had any performance issue.
So I need some oracle recommendation to use NFS file system or how performance can be tune of nfs file system.?Have you tried to maintain snapshot via adadmin before applying the patch and see how it behaves?

  • I am using Mac book pro non retina display with Yosemite and it is taking time to on the Mac . Please suggest me

    hi,
i am using Mac book pro with non retina display with latest software yosemitte. When I on the Mac it is taking much time to on the mac / to get main screen. Please suggest us if any option to make it fast

There are several things that could make the computer run slower than expected
or slower than previously experienced from time to time; if a new system was
installed into a computer with slowness and other issues, that may compound the
problem since an upgrade to an OS X is not necessarily a remedy for old trouble.
If the issue may be a performance concern, there are cause and effect reasons
behind computer functionality. And if the computer was super quick, then after
an upgrade to a newer OS X, super slow, there could be several things going on.
The software previously working in the computer may not be correct for a newest
operating system; or the computer hard disk drive may be getting too full of content
that has no relation to the function of the device. Not enough unused storage space
or capacity can contribute to an overall slowness. And this also would relate to the
computer's use of resources. More installed chip RAM can help a computer run
better, and if you have extensive saved content in the computer you made, get an
externally enclosed hard drive and see about how to go & move that accumulation
off the computer's limited space so it could run better.

    http://www.thesafemac.com/mpg/
•Tech Guides - in addition to the above - from thesafemac:
    http://www.thesafemac.com/tech-guides/
There may also be adware or other kinds of malware inadvertently installed in your
computer; so that is something else to consider, find & remove. Note info in guides.
You could use the Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder (see Go in Finder menu) to
see if there are applications or processes running extensively that could point to
some waste of system resources. If there is something actually using anything at all
out of the ordinary. These kinds of things are hard to judge - if you aren't familiar.
So, anyway, hopefully you can get some ideas from the above site pages to help.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Is it time to update the announcement about 7.0.3?

The announcement on the top of the screen says 7.0.3 is here. Insofar as 7.0.4 is here, it would seem appropriate to update the annoucement or delete it.

While responding to this question in the community forum ( https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/817384 )  I thought I should share my resonse somewhere else.
I feel the insurance policy with Assurion is unfair!  If we pay for TEC (insurance coverage), then we should be allowed to do more phone claims, even if it means we pay monthly for TEC after the initial 2.  As well as, to be allowed to add the service again after the calendar year with no additional charges.

  • I have to re-build broadcom-wl every time I update the kernel...

If the kernel is updated, the broadcom-wl driver won't work after rebooting. Then I have to rebuild it from AUR.
I guess it's because this package is installed to the directory where the current version of the kernel lies.
But I have no idea how to fix this problem. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Lavande wrote:Any suggestions?
If you don't want to rebuild on minor-version updates, check out any other kernel module PKGBUILD. Short answer, they're in /lib/modules/extramodules-*.*-ARCH or related.
Better yet, just bug the package maintainer to update his PKGBUILD according to the above. I've done so for my nvidia-beta-all package, for example (and all the repo-based kernel modules place modules there).
