Talbe for Account Group - Tcode KDH3

Hi,
What is the table name that holds the account group for a particular G/L account? In tcode KDH3 the screen field is GRPDYNP-NAME_COALL which is not actually a database table.

Hi Marc,
There are some tables:
- SETHEADER: It holds the Account group information.
For example: go to SE16 transaction, type SETHEADER as table and select the fields:
SETCLASS = 0109
SUBCLASS = Chart of Accounts
SETNAME = Account Group
- SETLEAF: It holds the Account group leafs (that is, the information that is linked to the Account Group).
For example: go to SE16 transaction, type SETHEADER as table and select the fields:
SETCLASS = 0109
SUBCLASS = Chart of Accounts
SETNAME = Account Group
NOTE: For the last table, all the information is stored in a "RANGE" format. That is:
a) If there is a single account linked, then VALOPTION field will be equal to EQ
b) If there is an account interval linked, then VALOPTION field will be equal to BT.

There are many reports with S_ALR with starting. That is the reason I gave *. Please go through the below path in SAP Easy Access. You can see the reports related to GL.
Accounting
Financial Accounting
General Ledger
Information System
General Ledger Reports
There you can see different group of records. You can use as per requirement.

Object assignments for account group

Hi,
In customer when I click on assigned object in additional data,I am getting the following error,
"Account group ZSP1 is not registered for object assignments"
Where ZSP1 is my account group.
Where I can register my account group for object assignments

for what you are looking for object name of release group.???
If you want to add release group in Authorization profile,it is not possible.
You can add Release code in authorization profile...not release group.

Config for Account Group Mappings

I have a problem with middleware in that when I create a Payer it should be created in account group Z012 in R/3, however it is being created in Account Group Z001.
I have checked various places such as CRMC_T077D but I cannot find where the BP Role maps to this account group.
Can anyone give me any advice on where to look and what to check for?

MM cosultant usually dont have the authorization. but atleast you should have the authorization for display mode.
ask your basis team to give the authorizations.

Hi ,
Output procedure in OTD2 is for other purpose .It is not output determination in sales document .
Whatever field availabvle in field catlog we can determine the output in sales document .If the field is not available in field catlog than we can create the new filed and same field need to create in sales table .
For your case , Account group field is not available in field catlog but you can use Customer group (KDGRP) for output determination .

Hi Acharya,
you can use the TCODE FS00 for this purposes. Go to Settings->Hierarchy Display and choose Display accounts in navigational tree. After this, restart the tcode and you should be able to see the hierarchies. Hope this helps.

Output determination for Customer Account group - A brain teaser

At the place of configuration for Account groups, there is a field called Output Determination which has values like DB001, DB002 etc which says output for sold to, ship to and so on...
What is the purpose of maintaining output determination procedure at the account group level?
And also, where can i do the complete output determination for it? Like i could see Output determination for sales activities, sales documents, billing documents and shipping...But no where in the img screen, i found a place where i can configure these? Any ideas?

In SAP, we send different output types(read documents) for Inquiries, quotations, orders etc. to relevant partners (read contact persons) sold-to party, ship-to party etc. thru various transmission mediums like ex. Print, Fax, e-mail etc.
Output can be determined by using component output determination procedure. System should know from where the output is to be determined whether from IMG or from customer A/C group. This is depended upon the control that we can activate or deactivate in "Check access for condition type" in definition of the output type (T.Code: NV03)
Output Determination:
IMG > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Output Control > Output Determination Output Determination Using the Condition Technique > Maintain Output Determination for Sales activities/ Sales Documents etc.

Select Sold-to-party  go to Details  Double Click on General data / Company code data / Sales data. Here you can maintain whether the field is to be Suppress, Req. Entry, Opt. entry or Display

Change account group for GR55 report using GS02

Hi All,
How do I change the account group at GS03? My account group is PESB_1050 for Facilities Costs and I can display the G/L fot that group using GS03. I need to add new G/L for account group PESB_1050 (for report GR55). I've tried to change from GS02 but the account group is not exist because it not set ID. Kindly advice..

I've tried to change at GS02, but I got this error mssg 'Set PESB_1050 does not exist'.
At GS03, I keyed in PESB_1050 at Set ID field and <enter> then I can see the value (GL acnt) inside the PESB_1050. Account group is PESB_1050. Any idea how to change (delete/add GL) the value for that account group?

Account Group Name for Vendor

For account group name the field is KTOKK , there is a name that goes with this which is the field Txt30.
Can someone tell me what table this belongs so I would be able to use it in a join. I can only find the Pooled Table that it belongs to.

Try using the flow as below:
SETHEADER -> SETLEAF
In SETLEAF you get the set names and their intervals.
Next get the valid G/L accounts from table SKA1 for all ranges of SETLEAF.
SELECT saknr FROM SKA1
 INTO TABLE <itab>
 WHERE KTOPL = <chart of accounts>
 AND SAKNR BT ( valfrom, valto ). " VALFROM and VALTO are values from SETLEAF

XK03 can be restricted by account group in order to prevent general users

Hello Gurus,
Please advise, if XK03 can be restricted by account group in order to prevent general user population from displaying employee data ?
I understand that XK03 has auth object F_LFA1_GRP for account group in which I restricted with 03 and particular account groups but still the test is failing because the test user is able to view employee data.
Please suggest..

By your last update, do you mean auth group or account group? If you are talking about auth group then this auth object F_LFA1_BEK (XK03) has auth group.
I checked the F_LFA1_GRP is active in SU24. Is there something which i need to look in F_LFA1_BEK for particular auth group after restricting the auth object F_LFA1_GRP with account group ?
