Gracias y saludos.

Thanks a lot for your clear and quick respnse.

    Hi jogama,
When you convert a pdf document to jpeg, there is setting options using which you may reduce the size of the document.

  • I have OSX Maverick on an iMac using Outlook e-mail.  PDF attachments are included in the e-mail  as the whole document rather than just the PDF icon.  How can i have just the PDF icon as an attachment?

In Outlook my PDF attachments appear as whole documents and not just the PDF icon.  How can I have attachments included as PDF icons and not the documents?

For your own viewing, you can of course control-click on the attachment and select "View as Icon".
For others' viewing, it depends upon their email reader.  To ensure that attachments are not displayed expicitly you can put them all in a zip file (via control click and "Compress") then attaching them, or you can use third party stuff like Attachment Tamer.

Original Font Type Encoding Actual Font Type
helvetica,Bold Type 1 Windows Adobe Sans MM Type 1
helvetica Type 1 Windows Adobe Sans MM Type 1
Idautomationshi25m Type 1 Windows Adobe Sans MM Type 1
    Estoy utilizando Acrobat Reader 5.0

Algun men'u permite personalizar o ajustar las opciones de generaci'on edl pdf?

  • I attach a file in mail and the whole thing shows there ie. attach a PDF and the whole pdf content is displayed in the mail.  Anyone know how I just get the icon toi appear as the attachment rather than the whole file?  This only happens with pdf and jpg

    Hi Folks,
When I attach a jpg or pdf to a mail it shows as the whole document "pasted" into the mail.  Anyone know how I get the file to just show as an icon and not as a mass of pasted in docs?
    Thanks,
    Pedro

  • Can send but can't receive faxes on HP Laserjet, on Mac 10.9 Mavericks with TAM answering machine

I have an iMac running OS 10.9 (Mavericks) and an HP Laserjet Professional M1212nf MFP all-in-one print/scan/fax machine connected by USB.  I have a telephone system with answering machine connected.
I can send out faxes from the HP and from the Mac (using Fax pdf).  What I can't do is receive faxes on the HP (I know that the Mac cannot receive faxes with this machine).  I've tried every combination of settings to no avail  even disconnecting the phone/answering machine to no avail.
Any ideas what settings I need?
    This question was solved.

    Hi ChuckStewart,
This is certainly a head scratcher! I have found some additional information, from the following link Using an HP Fax Product with a Telephone Answering Machine (TAM).
I found this blurb interesting, When recording the outgoing message on your TAM, the voice portion should be at least 10 seconds long, but no longer than 20 seconds . Record 5 to 7 seconds of silence at the end of the voice portion of your outgoing message (total outgoing message length would be your voice message plus the additional 5 to 7 seconds of recorded silence ).
I wonder if you might find something helpful in the document.
    Please let me know. thanks.

  • Hi! Windows 7 users can´t open the pdfs and jpegs that I have included into sent e-mails. How shall I resolve the problem?

    Hi!
Prolems started after uploading the Lion in March. Now at least Windows 7 users can´t open any pdfs or jpegs that I have included into sent e-mails. They can see that they are included but can´t open them. What can I do?

It's a bug in Outlook. Each version of Outlook has its own unique bug that prevents it form displaying email that didn't come from another Outlook user. Apple has attempted to dumb-down Mail and make it more complex in order to work around these issues, but Microsoft keeps changing the bugs in each version of Outlook instead of making an Internet Email standard compliant email client.
Are they able to right-click on the image and save it from the contextual menu?
Otherwise, make sure Send windows friendly, attachments at end of message are checked and send plain text.
Or, zip the attachments and send that way.
There is also a program called Attachment Tamer that many people have found useful.

  • PDF loaded using ActiveX will not load when the executable is used on another computer

    Hello,
I am fairly new to Labveiw and have created a CAN diagnostic tool which uses an ActiveX control to display the CAN Spec PDF on the front panel. This works absolutely fine and still works fine when I create and use an executable on the same computer. However, I need to use the application on multiple computers that do not have Labview installed, and therefore require the executable. I have tried placing a copy of the PDF in the "Volume" folder and recreating the .exe with that path, then placing it in the same location on another computer, but no luck. I am fairly certain it has to do with the static file path, set in the Main VI, since it refers to a static location that does not necessarily exist on the next computer. I need some way to get around this though, so that I can easily transfer the application from one computer to another. The code I am using is very simple; I just open Adobe Reader and the file during initialization then close the reference path (see attached picture). Any Ideas?
    Thank you for your assistance!
    -Mike

A solution that I have found to work well is to use the Project Directory node as a root path. In the development environment this node will always return the path to the directory containing the project that is calling it. In an executable, it returns the path to where the executable is located.
With that known starting point, I can put files like that pdf in either the same directory as the project/executable or a subdirectory of that location and I can always find it.
When creating a build spec you can include non-LV files and specify destinations for them. Likewise, the installer will then put these files where they belong during the installation.

  • Can't Read PDFs online

When I try to read a PDF online, Adobe Acrobat 6.0 (from
Adobe Creative Suite 1) tries to open, then closes with this error
message: "Adobe Acrobat 6.0 has encountered a problem and needs to
    close. We are sorry..."
Until recently Adobe Reader 7.0 opened to read PDFs online,
and I had no problems. Now Acrobat tries to open instead but it
can't and I currently have no way of reading PDFs online. Adobe
Reader opens properly when I try to read PDFs from a CD or from the
hard drive on my home computer. This problem is only with online
    PDFs.
I recently installed online updates to Acrobat Pro. Did this
    somehow cause this annoying problem?
    Thanks for your help!

You can open AR7 and then start browsing and AR should take over in that case. Not the answer you were looking for, but a temporary fix.

  • HT201403 It would be very helpful for Apple to re-instate the view as icon option for a pdf file in an email on the right click menu? As far as I can see no easy way for a basic user to get this back?

Would be great for Apple to reinstate the pdf as icon in mail - but using the right click menu. It seems to have gone - and as a basic user there seems to be no simple solution - I used the rich/plain text swap but it didn't work...
Apple - we need you to solve!

    http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html
It's highly doubtful that Apple will change this in Mac OS X 10.7 since that OS version has now been discontinued for quite some time. Whether they will change that in OS X 10.9 or a future version I can't say.
If this is a serious issue for you, you can look into Attachement Tamer:
    http://lokiware.info/Attachment-Tamer
It's not free, but it addresses much more than the issue of PDFs appearing as images, not icons, so it might be worth the price.

  • Can't access "Overprint & Transparency Flattening" Options in Save As PDF Dialogue.

    I really need help here.
Because of printer driver issues, I've lately been forced to outline/flatten all of my text in my PDFs so that we can print them in the office. Since installing the latest update however, I'm now unable to access the "custom" settings for doing so in the Save As PDF dialogue. Specifically AFTER choosing a 1.3 PDF in which said custom menu should become available. (see attached image).
The .ai's save fine, but I need to be able to send this out to coworkers as 1.3 PDFs so that they can properly print them, and again, this inability to access the custom Overprint & Transparency options has never been an issue. The files vary in complexity, but are all relatively tame on elements.
I'm using Mac OSX 10.9.5, Illustrator CC.
I can provide whatever other information might be needed to solve this problem, but can provide sample files (this is happening with all files now).
Thank you so much for your help.

If your document does not have any overprints or transparency the options will be greyed out.  Try adding a drop shadow effect, or turning an time to over in the attributes panel as a test.

  • Converting a Word document to PDF

    Hey everybody:
The attached VI seems to work okay, but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for improvements.
It's in LabView 2011 with MS Office Report toolkit, using MS Word 2007.
It reads in a Word document as a report, attaches a Word macro to the document, executes the macro, then closes the report.
The macro just saves the file as a PDF with the same file name +.pdf.
I don't know much about Word macro programming, so there may be some room for improvement there.
    Thanks for your insight.
