With either picture or video is not working "can't send messages try again"

Did you use the Network Setup app (found in the Nokia Collections section of the Marketplace)? It will setup your phone for your carrier.
If that does not help. Ask your carrier what APN settings to use. No phone update will fix this. The phone needs to be setup to work with your carrier.

    As newer iPhones and iOS versions are made, apps start to drop support for the older versions of the iOS. It looks like you have fallen victim to this. I commend you for sticking with the original iPhone until now, but it looks like it's time for an upgrade if you want to use apps that have dropped support.

  • My Firefox quit working. I threw it in trash and downloaded new version. It will not work. I get message that firefox cannot load tabs. What can I do?

    Firefox has been loading slowly the past week. It hung up today. I closed it and upon reopening it gave error message: "Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page." It screened an option to eliminate one or more tabs the two available were: "Window 1" and "about blank". I could do nothing with either. The other choice was to restore session and that did not work. I trashed the Firefox folder from my Applications folder and downloaded new version of Firefox. When I open it I get the same message. I have rebooted computer and downloaded new Firefox version twice. Can't make it work. I am using a MAC with 10.6.8 OS.

    It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
    Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

    Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

  • Firefox crashes, have uploaded new version (8) and will not work unless I turn off my firewall, when I turn it back on again it crashes?

    Everything was ok until early last week when Firefox kept on and on crashing. I downloaded the new version on Saturday and all was fine until I switched on on Sunday and nothing, zilch. Opened in internet explorer and all was OK so knew it had to be Firefox. I disabled my Firewall and all came on perfectly, as soon as firewall goes on again Firefox goes off. I have now done a system restore back thingy (I'm sure you know what I mean!!) to before the download and am now having to put up with it crashing when it feels like it. Also very slow and sticky. I am working on Windows 7 if this helps.
    If this cannot be resolved satisfactorily I will change to Safari or Internet Explorer as this is not the first problems I have had with Firefox.

    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • New iSync 2.2 still not working with Nokia 6230

    I was very pleased to see iSync 2.2 come out yesterday and have support for the series 40 phones - however after Installing 10.4.6 on my new MacBook Pro, and opening iSync, the phone is found by Add Device, but when I go to add it I get the message:
    "Your phone, 'xxxx' does not work with this version of iSync.
    To enable this phone to work with iSync, contact the phone’s manufacturer or your service provider to update the firmware on your phone. For more information, visit the iSync Support website."
    The picture comes up but even if I drag the phone icon to the iSync window I can not sync it - 'Turn on Device Synchronization' will not stay ticked and clicking on Sync ends in a window saying it can't sync until I add a device to iSync.
    The Phone is properly paired with the computer through Bluetooth Device Setup. (Address Book works with it just fine, as does file browsing)
    Has anyone been able to get their series 40 or more specifically 6230 phones working with iSync 2.2?

    Same error message here.
    I upgraded the phone's firmware from 4.44 to 5.50 this morning and IT WORKS great with iSync 2.2!!!!!

  • New version of GarageBand is not working on iPhone 4!

    Since I've upgraded to version 2.0, I can't make music with iPhone 4 anymore. The piano is late and it's IMPOSSIBLE to record complexed tracks.
    I'm extremely disappointed and angry because GarageBand is the main software I use for making music.
    Does someone have the same problem? Does someone know a way to fix this???
    I also wanted to contact the developers for a refund but it seems to be impossible.
    I payed 5 euros for an app which is not working anymore. Stupid upgrade!

    I have a similar issue on my iPad mini, with Retina display.  The keyboard keys delay or don't play, I can't play more than two keys at one time on the keyboard.

    Okay, so I did all the updates, turned phone on and off, restored it, read the troubleshooting tips, used them, and STILL no sign of ANY MMS anything. No little camera, no MMS settings; nada.
    Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes?

    Ah. Okay, well that explains it all! I still think conspiracy: I pay too little monthly.
    Or it could just be a software issue disguised as a hardware issue.

    iOS devices cannot play every format that can be played on other devices. You can convert unsupported formats to a supported format for import to your iOS device.

    I have a problem with connecting my iPhone to iTunes. I uninstalled one of the computer program and restart my laptop. After restart my laptop and a message said that iTunes might not working because one of the component is missing and request to reinstall the iTunes. Hence I remove iTunes from my laptop and I reinstall iTunes to my laptop but still not working.
    Before this the iTunes will automatically launch when I plug in my iPhone. But after I reinstall iTunes, it's not working. When I try to plug in my iPhone after iTunes launched and message "This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes." popped out. I did this twice but it's not working as well.
    Please advise what should I do to fix this.

    First make sue you are installing the 64 bit version of iTunes.
    Second make sure it is iTunes 10.7 or later.
    I would download a fresh copy of the 64 bit version of iTunes 11. After installation reboot your computer.
    Before connecting your phone reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
