Tap continue and sing in for billing information
I dont know why it keep saying tap continue and sing in for billing information and it wont let me download
Is there any error message you get when trying to sign in and provide the billing information?
Also try to:
1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on Apple ID and Sign out
2. Restart the device
3. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign in again

Im trying to update my apps and it wont let me. When i clicked on an app to update it or to download a free app it says "sign in required, tap continue and sign in to view your billing information" when i did it says "you must verify your payment info before you can makes purchases" then "security code is invalid" when the security code is valid. I even switched credit card it keeps saying the same thing....... THIS IS NOT FAIR........ I WANNA UPDATE MY APPS!!!!! Btw idk why did i buy the ipad for, APPLE dont even let you download ADOBE FLASH PLAYER and must of the games required ADOBE FLASH PLAYER to play example: wizard101. Idk what i was thinking...... :(
Why not simply remove yoru payment info by selecting None at top?

Considering Adobe dont (sic) even make Flash Player for iPads, this seems about right. How can you download something that does not exist? -

Sounds like the credit card you have on file is probably invalid/expired. You'd need to correct that or set the payment method to None.

4. Confirm Your Country
5. Agree with Terms and Conditions
6. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (must be a valid email address)
7. Create and answer your secret question e.g. What is the name of my dog?
8. Select NONE for Billing Information (see picture below)
9. Fill in Billing Address i.e. your address
10. Submit application for new Apple ID
11. Wait for verification email
12. When email arrive, verify your account
13. Start downloading your free apps

Hi All,
I have implemented Auto Renewable App purchasases in my application, everything is working fine.
We are testing the app throughly and for each and every condition possible(network down,hundreads of sandbox users etc).
While testing the things many times we are stopping the transaction in beteween but after some time we were restoring the same transaction and it works after that.So far so good.
Now on many ipads we are getting the message popup saying "sign in required Tap Continue and sign in to check for downloads".
I dont know what this means because i have already purchased the product in sandbox and evrything works great but many times this poup is irritating us so please lt us know the solution for same.
Please let me know how to get rid of this error asap.Because of this error only Our QA's are not releasing the app.

How do I get a free app without it asking me for billing information? It worked for the first 5 apps but not this one
When you created your Apple ID, did you provide credit card information? If you did, then there may have been something that has changed with that credit card. Despite the fact the app is free, your account has to be in good standing to be able to downoad an app.

hi, i recenty just moved from the u.k to the u.s and all my itunes settings were set to the u.k regulations, so i tried to change the billing information and it still came up with postcode and in the u.s it is zipcode so it wouldnt let me proceed so i tried to change the country and it said i had to change the billing information (which i cant do untill ive changed the country) so im stuck in a bit of a loop, please could someone give me some guidance or advice because i dont patricularly want to create a new itunes account, i would appreciate your hep, thanks-dan

hi all, since yesterday i keep seeing an occasional pop-up message on my iphone telling me to "tap continue and sign in to purchase a gift". Very confusing, as I haven't done anything to initiate any sort of gift transaction. i've tried searching for that exact piece of text but there are no results to be found anywhere.

Thanks for the suggestion. Although, the problem is not really to get rid of the message (as you can dismiss it quite easily) but to understand why it appears there in the first place. Is it a malware? is it a bug?

I did. Half the people who posted had this issue in 2011, and the other half (including me) posted in the last couple of months. So it might be a recurring thing.
I have no idea when 2000 users googled "Tap Continue and sign in to purchase a gift" and viewed this post. Could have been 2 years ago or in the last couple of months. -

I am creating the library using object model with custom content type. When i am opening document from custom content type, the meta data fields are not displaying in the document and throwing below error.
The document information panel was unable to load. the document will continue to open. For more information, contact your system adminsitrator.
Document Information Panel cannot open a new form.
The form contains schema validation errors.
Content for element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/metadata/propertiesRoot}properties' is incomplete according to the DTD/Schema.
Expecting: {http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/metadata/properties}properties.
But after saving the document, then meta data is enabled.

For a better troubleshooting, I suggest to do as follows:
1. Please try to update the Location column's schema by following the steps below.
1) Go to Site Settings -> "Site Columns"
2) Click on "Location", after the page is opened. Don't modify any settings, click "OK" to forcibly update the field's schema.
2. Re-edit the document information panel template to see if the issue still occurs.
Please go to the Library setting > click the corresponding content type(need to enable managed of content types in Advanced settings) > click Document Information Panel settings.

go to http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp, enter your billing address, it will then show you how the USPS recognizes your address. Enter that address EXACTLY how it is shown on the USPS site into your itunes billing address info. -

help pleaseApple set up the App and iTunes store to require a valid payment method evn for free apps.
You can however set up a new App store account withut a credit card. That account is only good for free apps.
