Target="_blank" from a Converted Word Document

I am having a real hard time linking to a new target page from a Word Document that I integrated into my site. The story is I have a Word Document that contains hyperlinks in it. When I add it to my content, the target changes to top no matter what it is. Is there a way to change that so a new page opens when a link is selected? Thank you.

Are you using Dynamic Converter. If yes, open your Dynamic Converter Template and go to Globals tab and set the required settings to open hyperlinks. You can see the below document. Chapter 5 on globlas.

if you have already done this and still not working, are you sure the converted document is using your DC template?

I cannot cut and paste .rtf from a MS Word document to a web page.

I would require few details in order to diagnose the issue correctly :-
1) Are you able to launch Acrobat XI pro ?
If yes, please try Help -> Repair option to repair Acrobat XI pro. Then try to perform the covert operation.
2) Let me know the Operating system installed on your computer.
3) Is there any error code or error message?

If you have PDF pack subscription you can avail all of the services like export PDF,create PDF & etc.
Otherwise you have to purchase every service individually.

How to convert word documents to html page in sharepoint online 2013

I am new SharePoint and still learning it.
I have been tasked to do the following on office 365 E3 SharePoint 2013 Online edition.
1) I have to create a Web page in asp.net
2) This page needs to show document from a given SharePoint folder and bind them in a grid or dropdown on the asp .net web page
3) On selecting the document from the drop down or gird (on asp .net webpage), I need to show the SharePoint word document as HTML on the webpage (something like word to html) Note: These SharePoint word document may contain Images, bullets, tables etc.
What I have been able to do till now
1) I have been able to connect to SharePoint from ASP .net application.
2) I have been able to retrieve document from a specific SharePoint folder.
3) Read the document from SharePoint folder and bind them to a drop down on the asp .net page.
What is missing?
I am not aware about any API that SharePoint Online provides to convert Word document to HTML. Any code sample or reference on how to will be much appreciated.
I am not also not sure what is the best way of achieving the functionality this?

If this was SharePoint server then it would be easy however in O365 You need to create a app which will use the word automation service and below is powershell which you can use for the conversion:-

This sounds more like Word than Indesign. I've never been able to resize
a column in Word without messing up the column next to it. There's
probably a way to make Word columns behave properly; I just don't know
Word that well.
In Indesign, to make table columns act the way you're describing, you
must be either dragging the column wider from the left side; or (2)
holding down the shift key while you drag. Otherwise, making a column
wider just makes the table wider.
Try dragging from the right side without the shift key. You can also
select part or all of the column, go into the Table palette, and set the
column width exactly, by numbers (which is what I usually do, because I
like to make sure that my table adds up to exactly or less than the
width of the text column).
Sometimes I need to make my tables wider than the page, temporarily,
just so I can see everything in them and decide where I can lose enough
space to fit the whole thing on the page. Remember that you can reduce
cell insets, as well.

Hi everybody,
With Adobe Reader X Standard, I want to convert word documents I have in a directory.
I do a right-click on a file, but when I try to convert the file I would like to save in the same directory (where the word document is). By default it suggest default documents location.

Note: There is no Adobe Reader Standard X program. There is Adobe Reader X or Adobe Acrobat Standard X. Reader cannot create pdf files, Acrobat Standard can. Please let us know exactly what software you are running together with OS.

I can create PDF's inside Word 2010 using the Acrobat Add-in but right clicking a Word document or dragging a Word document into Adobe Acrobat 11 Standard does not work. I have updated both Acrobat 11 and Office 2010 with the latest updates available. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In order to convert word document to PDF by right-clicking or dragging the file, you must have Adobe PDF printer installed.
For Windows, please check that Adobe PDF is set as default printer under "Start > Devices and Printers"
While for MAC, Adobe PDF printer option is no more available and as it was removed with some changes in Apple's policy regarding virtual printers.
So, check with your OS and then let me know.

How to duplex print from a MS Word document in HP 1020 Plus printer

Two days before I have acquired a HP 1020 Plus Laserjet printer . How to duplex print from a MS Word document and Corel Draw document in HP 1020 Plus printer? I tried manual duplex printing by printing the odd pages first and then even pages ....it came out correct ,...but whenit comes to Page numbers continuity it is not properly printed ....why?? Can anyone highlight on this and give me a step by step instructuion to print Duplex and thereby help me to create 20-----------page or 30 page booklets.....from MS word typed document or corel draw document......Expecting a speedy solution

The laserjet 1020 only has manual duplexing capabilities. Please refer to this document for a complete set of instructions.
Print on both sides of the paper (manual duplexing)

Receiving Mail Sent From Inside A Word Document

I have a work colleague who is using a Windows environment and sending me MS Word documents by emailing from inside the Word document. When the email arrives in Mail the Word document shows as an attachment with the name winmail.dat. I have not been able to find a way of opening the file in a readable format. I am running OS X 10.4.6 and using Mail. I also have Office for Mac 2004 installed and have tried using Word on the winmail.dat without success. Entourage does not seem to have a means of finding files stored elsewhere. Preview does not cope and nor does GraphicConverter which is what Finder chooses as the default application to open winmail.dat.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

This indicates the sender is using Windows Outlook as their email client which is the cause of this problem.
See Dealing with the winmail.dat file: the problem and the solutions.
You can try using TNEF's Enough.
