Target column in Appraisal Template

Hi,
I am creating Appraisal template, there is one standard column Target (OBJL). I want to make this column notes only. But that is disabled in phap_catalog.

Hi Gayathri,
This is standard functionality of SAP. So, it can't be changed. Thatawhy I created new column named it Target.
As my client has requirement that target can be in any unit of measurement.

    We are trying to modify the SAP restriction of  "Maximum number of columns"  that is allowed in an appraisal template as we need to have more columns to support our business requirements.. Have any body attempted or done this work ? Please suggest me the approach / time estimate etc.

    Thanks . This is truly a touch situation for my client. The client's business process has a requirement that a service responsible needs to input the Threshold , Target and stretch values monthly and display  converted values ( for every month ).
    Can you suggest me if there is any alternative way to achieve this  apart from configuring the custom columns are the above ?

  • Additional Columns in Appraisal Template

    Hi,
    I am currently creating a template similar to MBO in PHAP_CATALOG_PA.
    Can i add additional columns in the template. Is there any configuration step to add additional column and give a column header name. For example: See Below, I require first column to be the list of objevtives, second column appraisee set his goals at the start of the year after having a mutual discussion with his manager. 3rd and 4th cloumns are for Mid year review one for self and other for manager. 5th and 6th columns are for the end of financial year to give the final scores.
    Please note we are on ECC 6 with Latest support pack 61 (But not EHP4)

    i m working on the existing appraisal templates in which i have to add one more column named "Avereage Rating"
           in which the average of "MID YEAR ACHIEVEMENT COLUMN TOTAL VALUE" & "FINAL APPRAISAL RATING COLUMN TOTAL VALUE"
           for eg:"(3.5+4.0)/2 = 3.75" i.e the value 3.75 will come in the average rating column,plz help me to sort out
           this column,for this,no doubt i have added the column for this but for the  value "3.75" what "value list",
           "value class" & "value determination" sud i use against this column plz help me....

  • Appraisal template - Columns

    Hi all,
    I am trying to analyze the appraisal template.
    The columns which are defined in template show up in the document.
    we have columns for final appraisal, start date, end date and obviously they are visible in the document.
    Question is what happens to the column OBJECTIVE SETTING. How is it displayed!
    May be this is an elementary question but your views would help me understanding template config. even better.

    Hi,
    The objective setting column is a special column, like weighting it had its own behavior. If just selected it will show as element name. But if you tick the box "Free Input" under objective setting then the element name will be replaced with an input field on teh appraisal document where you can give your own text (= a new objective) in.

  • Appraisal template error - A maximum of 18 columns are allowed

    Dear Friends We are implementing flexible PMS solution on EHP4 platform. We have defined many customer specific columns. Now, we want to add more than 18 columns in our appraisal template but system is showing error if we try to include more than 18 columns. We have already tried to rationalise element (VB-VC) structure to reduce no of columns but still we need to have more than 18 columns in our template. Does SAP provides any BADI or NOTE to resolve this issue. Or whether we can tackle this issue at a technical solution level. Pl. advise.

    You can customize this in the CATS IMG data entry profiles - it could be the data entry profile
    includes more than 65 columns
    Unfortunately due to performance reasons 40 is the maxium number of columns allowed
    - a modification would likely be required to allow more - you would also need to test performance and
    load (whether the WD application could pass all the columns or values)

  • Appraisal Template - Issue with New Column addition.

    We have added one column u201CPriority %u201D which replaced an existing field (column) in one of the appraisal templates.
    When the user selects a value from the drop down and saves the template, it is not getting reflected in the portal.  Also the same isnu2019t getting updated in the backend DB tables (as seen from PHAP_ADMIN_PA). Upon displaying the template, the first available value in the drop down is shown by default instead of the selected value.
    As per our understanding the entire field values are read from standard function Module u2018HRHAP_DOCUMENT_CHANGE_STATUSu2019 into corresponding internal table t_body_elements.
    But the value (Row X Column) for that particular column is not seen in the structure.
    Please give inputs as to why the changed % value is not being saved and shown in the template.
    The column is maintained in the template like the other columns and the value range is also maintained in the u2018Edit Appraisal Scalesu2019 in SPRO.

    Thanks for you reply. Still the same issue. Following are the config I did till now:
    In the PCD I created a new business object (SWF_WIOBN), an operation linked to the object (NAVIGATE).
    I did create an iView (powl) in the custom folder, I integrated the operation within iView. I created a page that contains the iView.
    In the properties of the iView I gave:
    Application Name: HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT.
    Launch in New Window: "Display in separate Headerless Portal Window".
    System: SAP_ECC_HumanResources
    I added the required entries in tables:
    IBO_C_WF_TTAS
    IBO_C_WF_ACS
    IBO_V_WF_TAC
    IBO_V_WF_TTAC
    etc...
    I saw in the code of linked feeder class: CL_IBO_INBOX_FEEDER_WI  that it's checking something called "Launch_Editor".. Is it a property that we can set somewhere?
    Following are the parameters retrieved by system:
    BO_NAME       =  SWF_WIOBN
    BO_OP_NAME = NAVIGATE
    LAUNCHER_PARAMETERS ->  empty.??
    BO_RESOLVE_MODE = USER_SET_OF_ROLES
    LAUNCH_EDITOR  empty where must be set?
    At the end I still get the error:
    There is no iView available for system "": object "SWF_WIOBN". For more information, contact your administrator.

  • Change the Appraisal Template in Mid of Year.

    We want to edit the appraisal template which is being used in Production.
    System is allowing to edit the template in development as there are no documents created. Once we transport the change to production what will be the implication.
    Q1. Is it recommended to change the template after it is being used.
    Q2. If really need to edit the template in mid of appraisal process how do we go forward.

    We are on ECC 6.0 and SP 43.
    We need to put some extra fields / Notes to the targets and extra sub statuses to correctly identify the condition.
    But already appraisal process started and documents are created. Now we cannot either create the same documents in new template or postpone the appraisal template change to next year.
    In this situation we decided to change the existing template. We want to know what will be the implications if we change the template in development and transport it to production???
    Download and upload will create a new template which will not be useful for our case.

  • Transporting Appraisal Template in Predefined Performance Management

    I have created a transport for Category and Appraisal Template through transcation PHAP_CATALOG by right clicking onto the Object and selecting Transport. After creating the transport I have successfully transported it in the QAS.
    Now, in QAS I am not able to view Appraisal Template in the Appraisal Catalog (Transaction: PHAP_CATALOG) while the Category exists in the catalog. I have checked the transported Appraisal template in transaction PP01and have found that the object exists in QAS.
    Please advice on, why isnt the appraisal template being displayed and linked to the required category in Appraisal Catalog  Transaction: PHAP_CATALOG). And what is the corrective action required.

    I have created a Customized BAdi from an existing BAdi..i have also included this BAdi in Enhancement Area using the transaction oohap_basic.But when i go back to appraisal template and try to insert this BAdi in a column it doesnt reflect their..so please can anybody help me out with a solution..The BAdi is appearing in Enhancement area in oohap_basic and also in table T77HAP_FLT_EXI

    Using tcode OOAM, go to the category to which your template belongs, and look in the Enhancements tab. The custom enhancement should be available in the available enhancements section. Move this to the selected enhancements section. Then you should be able to use it in the template.

  • How to restrict maximum 5 part appraisers in the Appraisal template

    Dear All
    Our requirement is to allow maximum 5 part appraisers in the Appraisal template. Currently the System is calculating & restricting to only 2 part appraisers (as the total columns used is 16).
    Even on using the BADI - Maximum Number of Part Appraisers (HRHAP00_MAX_P_APPER), we are not able to attach more than 2 part appraisers as the defaulted value is overriding the BADI value. This is because as per BADI - Maximum Number of Part Appraisers (HRHAP00_MAX_P_APPER) : The calculated number of part appraisers must always be greater than the desired number of part appraisers. If this is not the case, the system outputs an error message and resets the desired value.
    Also the link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_rc10/helpdata/en/ae/ec6f01d143e141992f22fcf31a7aaa/content.htm says - "In the case of an approval process for a 360° degree feedback, you do not need to restrict the number of part appraisers. In all other part appraisal processes, the system restricts the maximum number of part appraisers". But even in 360° degree template, on selecting 16 columns the system is calculating & defaulting 2 part appraisers.
    Kindly advice how to restrict the no. of part appraisers to 5 when the system is calculating only 2 part appraisers as we are using 16 columns in the Appraisal template.

    Every year we create a new Appraisal template, where in we use to transport the appraisal template by right clicking on it, change status to Release first and then right click again and transport appraisal document.
    But this year transporting the document is not working out. It's not showing that template in target source.

    Run the program RHSOBJCH.
    It shows infotype tables with inconsistencies like IT5025 & IT5026.  Adjust/fixe these inconsistencies, with this the system automatically transport the contents in those infotypes.

    In R/3 that part appraiser column is coming in the editable mode.. but in standard BSP itself that part appraisal column is coming in the display mode always//

    If in R/3 its coming in editable mode and only in BSP Page (HAP_DOCUMENT) its coming in Non-editabl emode, then I will ask you to check the Implementation for the BADI "HRHAP00_ACC_HEADER"....
    Note -
    1) The filter name (Filter created for the Implementation of the BADI) is assigned in the Appraisal Template as follow..
        Transaction PHAP_CATALOG -> Select the Template -> Processing Tab -> Further Template Behaviour -> Enhancement Area   
        name = "Header Access",
    2) Inside this implemetation (hope you will find one in the step1, they case code with the UI_MODE, which differntiates BSP and R3
