Target Group with companies and Contact

Hi Experts,
I am try to generate an emails campaing in CRM2007. The BP in target group are only companies but i need that the emails are sent to the Contact Person of these companies.
I configured partner determination but it did not work.
Can Somebody tell me how I can do it?

Target group with customers and contact person

Hello at all,
I have the following problem:
I want create a target group from an externel file. This file includs CRM customer numbers and the contact person numbers.
When I use the standard import functionallity I have only the customers in the target group or the contact person. But I need both in one target group.
Is it possible to generate this target group in BW and send it to the CRM?

I assume you want to select for Organizations (BUT000 Type 2) and you want to see in the Target Group the Contact Persons which are assigned via Relationship to the Orgnizations.
Create for example a Datasource with Infoset CRM_MKTTG_BP_ORG, and under Details for Business Partner use BUT000_PER-PARTNER_GUID.
In Field Function Module maintain CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP.
Create an Attribute List an assign the Datasource. After Creating the Target Group you will see the Organizations with all the assigned Contact Persons via Relationsship.

Another Tip: Create a Target Group for Persons, assign it to the Campaign, and now set the B2B Flag. Depending from your SP Level you have to apply a note so that the B2B Flag is visible (1263915)
If you set the B2B flag you will get Communication Data for letters, for a Call List from the Relationship.

Target group with customer and contact person

I want to create a target group with customer data and the names of the main contact person to execute a campaign.
During execution I need the name of the contact person to personalize my forms, the campaign activity should be connected to the customer (and not the contact person).
Is there a functionality to solve my problem? (CRM 7.0)

Target group with Contact Person from Organisation

Dear experts,
we are currently on CRM 7.0 SP06.
In segment Builder (GUI) there is an option in context menu for target group which allows us to create a new target group with all the contact persons from an existing target group with organisations.
I know that we have to use the WEB UI. But there I could not find this functionality.
Although we can achieve the same building up our own infoset, I would like to know if this functionaltiy is actually missing, or not supported anymore.

Target group with attributes of persons and organizations

Hi,
we are using marketing attributes for persons and organizations.
Now, we want to realize a segmentation for organizations with marketing attribute productgroup xyz and persons with marketing attribute decider.
Is it possible to combine organizations with marketing attributes and persons with marketing-attributes in one target group?

Im sorry, I think my description was too short. I have the following situation / problem:
I am using InfoSet CRM_MKTTG_BP_ORG with business partner BUT000-PARTNER_GUID.
My person datasource based on Info Set CRM_MKTTG_BP_ORG and business partner BUT000_PER-PARTNER_GUID.
Furthermore Im using an attribute Set for organizational attributes and an attribute set for person attributes.
Now I want to build up a target group with persons who have specific attributes. The persons should be members of organisations with specific attributes.
Example: Persons with attribute decider should be member of organizations with attribute productgroup xyz.
We are using SAP CRM 5.0. I added the function modul CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP in my organization Datasource.
But I have problems to build up a profil set and a target group where I can combine the attributes of the organizations and the attributes of the persons. The counting result is 0.
I hope my description is understandable. Thank you in advance!

Target Group with Relationship...

Hi Experts,
We are facing difficulties creating a Target Group in CRM 5.0 (SP11). Below are the scenarios how our master data is organized.
1) Organizations with contact persons.(Company ABC having Contact Person = Rick)
2) Person with contact persons. (Dr. Larson having Contact Person = Mag)
3) Individual Persons (David B Allen) (with no contact person relationship)
Now we want to create a target group which should have contact persons of Organizations and Persons from scenario 1 & 2 and Individual Persons from scenario 3.
{i.e. Organization Contact Persons (Rick) + Person Contact Persons (Meg) + Individual Persons (David B Allen)}
If we use FM "CRM_MKTTG_PF_BP_TAB_TO_CP" while creating Data Source it filters down contact persons for Organizations only. Scenario 2 & 3 are not satisfied by this.
Do anyone knows how to create a target group like this ?

Hi Vikas,
I think you can go with another datasource using standard table BUT000 with BP partner category category as person as you need Persons with and without contact persons in relationship. Which means you need all BPs with partner category as person.
You can assign both datasouces to the single attribute list and create filters for the attributes partner category and the one which you created.

Creating Target group with Bi Query

Hi,
I am trying to create Target group with BI query, for that I created one query on real time info cube with 0BPARTNER, 0BP_GUID and selected all navigational attributes. In the query info object properties u2013 Advance setting I selecting u201C Values from Master Data Tableu201D & Access Type u201C Master Datau201D , In query Property u2013 selected u201C Allow External Access to Queryu201D
In CRM while creating Data source I can see the In objects selected in the query u2013 selected Business partner info object as 0BP_GUID ,In the attribute list I just selected one item Industry code against the above data source, while running the Segment Builder when I selected the industry code it gives me 0 business partner where as I am having 20 BP with that Industry code.
I appreciate your help ASAP.

I have the same issue with my BI Query. Hope you have resolved by now, if you have please do let me know.
What we have done is, created a BI Query and used this query in in CRM datasource, then created some filters where i can see the objects in the query while creating filters in Attributes List. But when we use these filters to create Target group, its not resulting any results in the query, i mean not brining any values on segmentation area. This issue is only in Production as we have already tested in Test and passed without any problems. But in Production we have this issue, i m not sure why this is happening, i spoke to BW team regarding this and they are not sure eitherl. If you know could you please let me know

Outlook 2011 no longer syncing with iCal and contacts

I have installed Yosemite recently on my Macbook Pro. I run MS Outlook 2011 for professional reasons. Until now, syncing with my Android phone worked (almost) fine, using a nice app called SyncMate. For a few days now (not sure it is linked to installing Yosemite though) new data on my outlook calendar and address book no longer appear on my phone after syncing. After checking I realized that Outlook is actually not syncing any more with iCal and Contacts, so of course the syncing with the phone cannot work. How can I resolve this ?

Unfortunately the use case you describe hasn't been implemented in Firefox. It's not possible to move a tab group out to its own window at this point. Generally the tab groups feature hasn't been worked on much recently, not sure why.
As to TabMixPlus, that's a third-party add-on which Mozilla doesn't directly support. You can find support links from the add-on page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus/

How to create a target group with all prospects?

Hi guys,
I am wondering how do I have to set up my data source when I would like to build a target group in my segment builder which includes all persons/contacts/organizations with the bp role prospect?
Which infoset do I need to choose in my data source? What do I need to fill under details?

Hi Janine,
What I could understand is that you require to create target group of all BPs having BP role as prospects.
To do so, you can create an infoset joning tables BUT000 and BUT100. The table BUT100 , has a field "BP Role"->select it, so that it is available when you are creating the attribute list using this infoset.
Create a data soucre for this infoset. Then when creating a attribute list, include this datasource and under this select the attribute "BP Role". Add filter to this attribute for prospects.
This filter can be used in segmentation builder in UI to create TG containing BPs having BP role as prospect.

Syncing multiple iPhones with iCal and contacts

My roommate just bought an iPhone and synced it for the first time with my iMac, but now he has all of my contacts and calendar appointments and none of his own. Do iCal and Contacts support multiple profiles? Is it possible for him to store his contacts on my iMac with iLife and sync without interfering with my contacts?
Sorry if this is a noobish question or if it's already been answered. I looked and couldn't readily find any topics that matched this question.

Your roommate will need to have all of his contacts in a specific group, as well as all of his calendar appointments in a specific calendar.
In iTunes, go to the info tab on the iPhone in iTunes and have it only sync that calendar/group.

Synchronization of Target Group with BW

In SAP Library, it is mentioned that "To keep target group information in the BW System up-to-date, CRM and BW must be synchronized. You activate this synchronization by choosing the Synchronization with BW indicator from the properties of the target group. "

Error when exporting target groups with more than 10000 BPs using mail form

Dear experts,
we are working on 7.0.
we customized the communcation medium file export for the usage in campaigns.
Everything is working fine: the target group (<4000 BPs) is exported to a .csv-file and attached to the campaign.
As soon as number of BPs in the target group exceeds app. 9.000-10.000 the background job is executed successfully without errors, but no .csv-file is attached to the campaign.
Has anyone experienced the same? Soem hitns or solutions?

I don't think the character set is the problem. I used a string of numbers 0123456789 and just copied and pasted it repeatedly to build up the text. The database character set is WE8MSWIN1252.
Regarding the apache log. I have to admit that I don't even know if I'm running apache. I am using a newly installed Oracle XE on a laptop in order to get some experience with application express. This app is the first one I've done. If someone will direct me to the log then I'll be glad to check it and post the relevent contents.
I signed up for an apex workspace and intend to see if I can recreate the error from there so I can see if the problem is just in the free version of apex that comes with the Oracle Express Edition for windows database.

Grouped with artwork and Tags problem

Hello! I'm tried guys! The problem:
For example, I copy a new album (which include 5 tracks) to iTunes library, then I select all that 5 added tracks and click right button and choose "get info". After, I jump to ArtWork tab and add a cover and click "OK". Well, now I choose option "show items grouped with artwork". Uh, what am I see..? I see that every track of album separate of each other but they have the same cover. Why..? Why they are not together under one common cover? Maybe wrong tags? All tracks of that album have the same album name, year, artist name, genre and artwork of course. What's the problem?

A common problem, be 100% sure that album and artist is exactly the same. One way of doing this is to select all of the tracks, chose get info, and rename all of the tracks from here. Typical mistakes is that one of the songs might have a space before or after the artist name or something.
