Task buttons in PC Suite 6.82.22.0 Do Not Respond

Having just purchased a new N80 phone and installed the latest version of the PC Suite I find that the following task buttons do not respond when clicked: Backup, Synchronise, Install Apps, View Multimedia, Store Images, Transfer Music, Manage Connections and Update Phone Software. The other bottons do respond when clicked. This problem applies to both USB and Bluetooth connections - the only oconnections I use. I read the previous post by 'knase' and tried all of the suggestions made there but this did not fix the problem.
The applications do start if I start them from the ApplicationInstaller in the folder C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia PC Suite 6\ ->. How do I resolve the problem I am having?
I am running Windows XP SP2.

Like this:
1. Go to http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.html and download Filemon (it is end of the page).
2. Start FileMon.exe and click 'Options', 'Filter/Highlight..' and set string:*launchapp* to 'Include' option.
3. Go to http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Regmon.html and download Regmon (it is end of the page).
4. Start RegMon.exe and click 'Options', 'Filter/Highlight..' and set string: *launchapp* to 'Include' option.
5. Press 'Ctrl+X' to both tools and then open the task manager and select LaunchAppication.exe (or LaunchA~1.exe), press End Task button and then Ok.
6. Start LauchApplication (Start > Programs > Nokia Pc Suite > Nokia PC Suite)
7. Click button "Backup" and after that save log files and attach those in your response.

  • After choosing a jpg for upload, the "Upload File" button on the organization's receiving site of does not respond. The second problem: it's impossible to highlight more that one file at a time.

Clicking the first file, holding down shift and clicking the last file doesn't work. I've tried all manner of command, control, shift combos without success.  This one-at-a-time attachment problem also happens in web mail.  Are these two issues related?  Thanks for non-techie solutions for both issues.  I have Safari 5.0.6 (5533.22.3) and Leopard.

Thanks for your response.  I do have javascript turned on (not java).  To answer your question,
I was trying to upload 3 jpgs to the submissions page of a visual arts website. I could only highlight one jpg at a time in the "Choose File" option, and then the "Upload File" button of the submissions page would not respond.
It's an ongoing problem with this site (I'm the only one with this issue and there are a lot of submissions). I have to send the images as email attachements to the administrator of the site.  When doing this via webmail, I still the one attachment at a time problem, but the images get to the administrator.  Thanks for helping.

  • Open Task Button does not come in Outlook

I have a three level approval workflow in which each level an email is generated to the approve to approve or reject.
But suddenly the Open Task Button does not pop up in Outlook 2010 anymore can you tell me why?
    Srinivasan Kidambi

had the same issue with External users not using Outlook. This is how I fixed it:
Open the task list that the workflow is using and connect it to Outlook. Then kick off a workflow to make a new task. Once the task is made open the task from Outlook. The bottom options (review, perform the specific req. for the task, and Open this task)
are now links. Hover your mouse over the link and you will see the address.
Now open SPD, connect to your site and open the work flow assc. to the doc lib.
Start editing the workflow and click the "Approval" link
Click "Change the behavior of a single task"
You are going to have to look for all the instances of "then e-mail task notification to "Current Task:Assigned to"
    Open "Current Task:Assigned to"
Click where you want he link to go and hit the Hyperlink button
name the link whatever you want, then hit the string builder ("..." button)
Copy the link from the Task in Outlook into the string builder (if you use External addressing you can also hard code the External address).
At the very end of the link where is says ID=(then a number) delete the number and DO NOT put a space. Click the Add or Change Lookup button and use "Current Task: Approval" "ID" "As String" and click ok. Should like this:
Now this will not pop the form up, but it will send the user straight to the task form (might have to enter username and password) for the correct task. Remember to do this to all the "Current Task:Assigned to" in the workflow. It sounds like a chuck of
work but it does not really take thaty long on the OOTB Approval workflow.
Just wanted wanted to add my two cents.

  • Sharepoint Designer Workflow - Edit this task button not showing in outlook for some users.

    Hello all,
I have created a "collect data from user" workflow in Sharepoint Designer, with around 9 "else" instances as to who to collect data from. My problem is that some users do not have the "Edit this task" button at the top of the email (Nor do they have the
"create rule.." button). They DO have the enabled hyperlink in the body of the email, which brings them to a screen where they can view the details of the task, then edit it by clicking on "Edit".
My users who have the button at the top of the email are having a much more simplified experience, and I would like all users to have it. All permissions are equivalent across the board as best I can tell. Is this an Outlook settings issue perhaps?
    Any input is much appreciated!
    Thanks!

    Hi Fender,
Please can you confirm which version of Outlook your users have (and if they are all on the same version)? All my none 2007 users lack the Edit Item button, and have to use the links in the body of the email, which I believe is simply due to the fact that
2003 et al lacks the same SharePoint integration options as 2007.

  • Open This Task button in Outlook throwing error

We are running SharePoint 2010 Foundation.  I have a List with a Workflow.  When a new item is created in the List, SharePoint creates a task, and sends me an e-mail.
The e-mail states that I need to use the "Open This Task" button to mark the task as completed.  When I click the "Open This Task" button, I get an error dialog pop-up in Outlook (happens in Outlook 2013 and 2010).
The error message states:  "An error occurred while retreiving the workflow task details.  This may be caused by: 1) Not having connectivity to the server, 2) The task no longer exists, 3) You do not have permission to access the task.
If the error persists, contact your system administrator."
However, when I view the same e-mail through our Outlook Web App, I get a link to click on, which takes me right to the task in SharePoint.
So my question is two-fold.  First, does anyone have any idea on how to get the "Open this task" button to work in Outlook 2010 and 2013?  Secondly, does anyone know where I can go to change the template of the e-mail that SharePoint
sends out when a task is created?
    Thanks in advance!!!

This is still an issue.  Any one have any suggestions at all?

  • Is human task in 11g soa suite  WS-HumanTask complaint  ?

    Hi all,
    I have a small doubt,is human task in 11g soa suite WS-HumanTask complaint ?
    Thank You

If BPEL don't timed out, you can have Human task in Synchronous BPEL process.
For this, you can have your synchronous reply before any Human task call back receive activities (this causes the timeout) or you can just create human task and no other call back receive activities.
    Thanks

Is there any way to hide New Task button based on Users or Roles, or remove New Task button from the My Task iView. Please let me know if you know any other solution.

    Hello,
there is an update in the configuration documentation coming up shortly (In oct.) - it wil be available online on the Help portal.
But as of now, please follow the process as listed here:
also please let me know in case this is not working for you.
Removing Actions From the UWL Display
There are a couple of ways to remove actions.
    ·        You can customize the Views and ItemType (which can remove the actions from all UWL pages, Collaboration, My Task, and so on)
    ·        You can modify the iView and add the name of the actions under the Action to exclude from the UWL property.
See the list below for some of the common action names.
Note: For other actions not listed here, see the custom properties XML files.
in the list below you will see the "Display Text" for the action followed by the "Action Name"
    Alerts Configuration
    AlertConfiguration
    Claim --- reserve
    Complete---- acknowledge
    Complete Task --- confirm
Create Ad Hoc Request --- uwlTaskWizard
    Create Task --- defaultGlobalWizard
    Decline --- decline
    Delete  -
    deleteItem
    Edit --- editItem
    Follow-up --- followUp
    Forward --- forward
    Forward --- forwardUsers *
    Manage Attachments --- manageAttachments
    Open Task --- launchSAPAction
    Personalize View --- personalize
    Revoke Claim --- replace
    Submit Memo --- addmemo
View Detail in SAP Gui -
    launchSAPDetails
    - this action is for multiple user selection.
    Note:
If excluding more than one actions, the action names must be comma separated.
    Note:
Do not add ALL of the above listed action names to Actions to Exclude iView property. Be selective in what actions you want to remove. To determine the action name you want to remove, you can turn on the support information page (see below) and a list of support action will be displayed per item displayed.
    Example
Suppose you do not want the Personalize View function on the UWL view. You can remove it by adding personalize to the iView property List of UWL Actions to Exclude.
Turning on the Support Information Section
From the UWL iView configuration, select Yes for the parameter Display UWL Support Information.

  • Background Task Button Blinking/Eject Message

My background task button does not stop blinking. It seems to be rapidly changing between 0 and 100 percent.
Clips in my Timeline do render. Then the button continues with the blinking. When I play my project, it stops blinking and reads 0 percent.
What is the problem? How can I stop this?
I am using a Late 2013 Retina 15-inch MacBook Pro, OSX 10.9.2, FCPX 10.1.1. My Project is on a Lacie Rugged Thunderbolt external drive.
One more issue: I frequently get a message that my drive was not properly ejected. This usually happens when I'm idle for more than about 2-3 minutes. I'm not sure if the problems are related.
The problem also sometimes happens when I connect my FireWire 800/Thunderbolt adapter.
BTW, I read about this ejection issue on another site. There was no solution posted.

Don't know whether this will help but it's worth a try.
Corrupt preferences can create a vast range of different symptoms, so whenever FCP X stops working properly in any way, trashing the preferences should be the first thing you do using this free app.
    http://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/
Shut down FCP X, open PreferenceManager and in the window that appears:-
    1. Ensure that  FCP X  is selected.
    2. Click Trash
The job is done instantly and you can re-open FCP X.

  • UCCX 10.5 Scripting: Allowing a CAD Task Button to Change A Boolean Value to Skip a Screen Pop

    Good Morning All...
I've found some wonderful information on here in the past and I'm hoping you all can assist me now.
I have a CCX Script (10.5(1)SU1) that is working beautifully. Within the CAD integration there is a screen pop which sends an ANI value to a corporate application to bring up customer information, this is also working with no issue. I've been given a request from the call center manager to put a task button on the agents' CAD instance to allow them to turn off these screen pops in the event that they need to be on the same screen for longer than the work/wrap-up time between calls.
    My Questions Are These:
    1. I know I can use a task button to set an Enterprise Data value i.e. skip_pop = true (skip_pop being tied to the Boolean value in the script). That being said, I can't change the value until the call reaches the agent and that is too late in the process to stop the prompt from running. Is there a better/different way that I am not thinking off to allow the agent to interact with Boolean value before the call arrives to the agent?
    2. Am I completely off base? Is there a much better way that I can do this in general?
I am at your mercy and your help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Justin

    Hey Aaron:
So I'm in the midst of working through this mess for a button push and I've hit a wall. Perhaps you'll have some insight? In my CDA (see screen shot) I've configured an HTTP action that is in theory sending the agent ID and a value of true.
In my child script (attached) I have a Get HTTP contact info where I am looking for "Agent_ID" and "sPopState" when I do a test run with a reactive debug I am getting success but the database is basically adding lines but with no information in either column (I have verified that my DB is working correctly).
Do you by chance have any idea what I might be missing? I'd like to think I'm close but I'm getting into dark territory for my experience level.
As always, your help and expertise are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Justin

  • Complete task button Workspace

Hi, Im a newbie in Livecycle and I have an issue.
I designed a process with human tasks. For each, they have a PDF form file I designed in their workspace. But I don't know how to add a complete task button. I do not see it in their workspace, so they can't complete their task. Do I have to setup it in the process diagram or in the Form designer?
    Regards.

In Form Designer add the Process Fields object and the Form Bridge Object from the Custom palette of the Object library.

  • Use of SHOW MY TASKS button

    Hi,
We are on SRM 7. ECS.
I'm confused regarding the use of SHOW MY TASKS which appears in the shopping cart screen.
If I create a shopping cart which needs aapproval by my manager sya USER B,then how can user use the SHOW MY TASKS button to directly approve my cart until and unless he sees the cart in his POWL?
Are there any settings for POWL so that users can see the carts which are peniding for their approval even though they are created by some other user?
    Pls advise.

how can user use the SHOW MY TASKS button to directly approve my cart until and unless he sees the cart in his POWL?
SHOW MY TASKS button is not used to directly approve the cart. The approver will not find the cart through POWL, but through his/her UWL (Universal Worklist), which is usually under the tab "Home" >> "Overview" >> "Universal Worklist". The approver can see all the workitems in UWL and click into each document to view and approve from there.
Are there any settings for POWL so that users can see the carts which are peniding for their approval even though they are created by some other user?
There is no setting in configuration so that users can see others' shopping cart through POWL. The POWL showing only the user's own shopping carts (or as requester in the case of "shop on behalf") is the standard feature of SRM.
