Task not coming in Open Provisioning Task when Request is raised(OIM 9i)

Hi
When ever i am assigning the task to group that task is not getting updated in the open provisioning tasks. I i assign the task to xelsysadm instead of the group i am able to see the task in open provisioning tasks.
I thought its permission issue and created a user U1 under the system administrators and assigned the task to this user while provisioning but now also its not getting updated in the open provisioning tasks.
The above tasks if i saw in resource profile they are in pending status..
Can any one update how to resolve this issue so that if i assign a task to group it updates in Open provisioning tasks..

Verify Steps:
Create Process Defn
Check Auto Save and Pre Populate
Save
Add a task "Create User"
Save
Go to Assignment tab
Select Target Type as Group and Select your Group Name say "ALL USER"
Search any user, go to Resource Profile and Click Provision Resource and Submit

OIM 9: User assigned Provisioning Task can't see "Open Provisioning Tasks"

I have a user who is assigned a task through the Assignment tab, but when they log in, they don't see the "Open Tasks" menu. If I make them sys-admin, they can see it, so It has to be a permissions thing, but where exactly?

You need to assign the following menu items "To-Do List Open Tasks menu item" to the group the user belong to.

OIM Open provisioning Tasks

On the OIM home page there is a Open Provisioning Task counter. I want to make that set to "Check". I remember that you set the property skipPendingApprovalsOpenTaskCount in xlDefaultAdmin.properties file to false and it then does not show the counter but shows "Check" link instead. I set it to false, restarted server but counter is still there. Am I missing something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not that much difficult Dude. Its actually a System Configuration property and not in the xlDefaultAdmin.proerties file.
- Go to property XL.WebAdminHome.CounterDisplay.Type
- Change its value from DayLimit to CheckLink
- You are done without even re-starting

HI all,
i have upgraded my owb from version 11gr1 to 11gr2. the installation is complete and all my mappings and objects are imported successfully.
i was able to execute the mappings using the sql code:
@/oracle/product/11.2.0/owb/rtp/sql/sqlplus_exec_template.sql
by logging into sqlplus as the user in whose schema mappings are deployed.
hOwever, suddenly i am getting the error since sometime back - not sure what might have happened or what might have gone wrong. can someone please help me understand what might be wrong - how to decode this?

Firefox is not letting me open another tab when I click the 'new tab' button. It says 'done' in the corner, but never opens a new tab.

Firefox is not letting me open another tab when I click the button or the 'new tab' in file. I have restarted my computer, installed an update, and I still have the same problem browsing.

BPM task not coming in inbox

Dear Experts,
This regarding the UWL issue which we are facing in our landscape.
We have an EP 7.01 SP11 system by which users access the BPM task and CE 7.2 SP06 system
Where the BPM workflow is created.
SSO is configured properly between these two systems where both systems UME is pointing
to the same LDAP. System configurations and UWL configurations are done properly ,in fact the
tasks where coming properly in the inbox before.
But all of sudden without any changes its not working now . we are not able to find the root cause
of it.
Kindly help us to resolve this issue and let us know if you need more inputs.

In relation to the issue you described you mentioned:

Now although you mentioned the configurations are setup accordingly. I would like you to kindly review the UWL Destination Service Configuration as the smallest discrepancy maintained can cause unpredictable and unexpected behaviour.
SAP Note: Note 1133821 - UWL Destination Service configuration
When you followed and implemented SAP Note 1133821 - UWL Destination Service Configuration we need to make sure that connector names and also destination names match exactly (Case Sensitive).
Example: I mean if your portal system alias (=UWL connector name) is for example XYZCLNT100, then the rfc destination name should be exactly XYZCLNT100$WebFlowConnector.
After checking this and if you make any configuration changes
Clear the UWL Cache
Restart the UWL Service (during a period of downtime/low usage levels)
Now in terms of the UWL and BPM tasks there are some important points to highlight which are covered in the following documentation link:

I have come across similar scenarios in the past which have been resolved after consulting the following SAP Note Documentation:
SAP Note: 1585226 - BPM UWL Connector Failure
Kindly Check whether the proxy settings are done correctly and http.nonProxyHosts has proper entries as explained in the note 1507174. (Proxy settings for the J2EE engine). You NEED to have SSO configured as in a case with 730, absolutely no user mapping should be used on webflowconnectors.

Task not coming as link in UWL

Hi all,
I have configured some of the tasks in my UWL .Now when the workflow is triggered that tasks are coming to my UWL but they are not coming as link. Nothing is happening when I am double clicking on that task. Is this related to configuration that i have done in my UWL? I dont know how to track this. I have checked in SAP Inbox that task is in ready status.
Can anyone help me out in this? It is really urgent.

Same thing is working in my development server but it is not working in test server. Can anyone help me out in this. Tasks are coming in my UWL but no actions are performed on click of that task. This is task which I have added in my XML

Retry open provisioning tasks

Hi,
I've created a non-conditional task called "ValidateAttr" in the Xellerate User Process Definition, so that while creating an account, the task got executed in order to validate an attribute. This task is supported by an adapter (adpVALIDATEATTR).
The problem is that I didn't mapped correctly the responses on the process task definition, so I got every task with "Rejected" status, even if the result was success.
I've corrected this and I don't get this error anymore. But I have 26000 provisioning opened tasks asigned to xelsysadm. I can close them manually with the administrative console, but I'm looking for the way to close these tasks automatically. I've written a scheduled task that search for the open tasks and invokes the tcProvisioningOperationsIntf.retryTasks() method, but I got the following message:

A task delegated to say a user JCOOPER (which is picked from OID) is not listing in the BPEL Portlet when logged in as user jcooper...

HT1751 I have moved my library from an external hard drive into my laptop music file but I am not able to open i-tunes when holding down the shift key as advised in step 4 and thus not seeing the library option box - any tips please??

I have moved my itunes library from old computer to portable hard drive and then on, into new laptop, in music file. However I am then unable to open I-Tunes when holding down the shift button as directed in step 4 - this means I am not seeing the library choice box and cannot synch the tunes into ITunes library - any tips please?........Alan

Close iTunes. Click the icon to launch iTunes and immediately press and hold down the left shift key. Keep holding until prompted to choose or create a library. If iTunes opens normally, close it, and try again.

Workflow Created Tasks not showing up in My Tasks

I'm relatively new to SharePoint and am having trouble with the My Tasks list in SharePoint 2013. Tasks created manually in any task list show up in My Tasks as expected. However, tasks that are created by a workflow using create item in list
for that same list do not appear in My Tasks.
This is true for both tasks assigned to a group and tasks assigned to a specific user.
It has proven frustrating to attempt to google this issue.
Any suggestions?

Did this happen to all users that the tasks created by workflow aren't displayed in users' My Tasks in MySite?
Have you run a full crawl from Search service application, and also check if creating a new task view with filter option include group, and the following posts should be useful you can check.

Why are certain channels not coming out of the master when they are playing?

When I launch Firefox (both 3.6 and 4), I get the 'tab' on the task bar, but cannot open it! When I launch it a second time, it works fine, and continues to work when I close the first, non-working version!

I click on the firefox icon, a 'taskbar' tab appears, but nothing happens and I cannot open it. If I then click again on the icon or on the desktop icon, it works! Everything worked fine till this morning!
Running WinXP SP4.

A few general trouble shooting tips that may apply here:
1. If you used Software Update to do the OS update(s) to reach 10.6.7, go to http://support.apple.com/downloads/ and download and apply the Mac OS v10.6.7 Combo Updater. The Combo Updater contains some fixes that were not included in the incremental updaters used by Software Update.
1a. Check that you have the current version of Pages (and of the other iWork applications) installed. All three applications' current version numbers end in .0.5
2. A common cause of malfunctioning applications is a corrupted preferences file (.plist file). Your Pages '09's plist is at yourname > Library > Preferences > com.apple.iWork.pages.plist
Quit Pages, locate the file and Drag it to the Desktop (or to the Trash).
Restart Pages and attempt to open one of the files.
If all is well, Trash the plist file and empty the Trash.
If there's no change, AND you've made changes to the Preferences that you wish to keep, drag the file back to its previous location, replacing any new one that has been created.

Firefox does not want to open popup or when I do "file new window" it does not open it too.

When I click on a link that opens a popup, firefox does not open it. Same for "File> New Window." Then, often after Firefox starts to malfunction and no longer wants to open my bookmarks. I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, removed all extensions .. But this does not solve my problem. can you help me please?

Your above posted troubleshooting list shows quite a few extensions.
Did you really disable all of them and still had the problem?

Which security software (firewall) do you have?
Some can block pop-ups as well.
