Task not executing on UWL. Backend works fine.
Hi All
In Travel Management, Manager gets an approval task. There are Approve and Reject buttons
In Backend:
When Manager selects reject, there is a pop up screen where he enters a message and it gets delivered as a mail to the user who raised the claim
In UWL
If the manager presses on the reject button, the Workitem disappears and nothing else happen
How can i make the comments screen appear on UWL

Notify Operator Task not sending email, Database mail works fine, Added Profile to Agent
SQL Server 2008 R2, Latest Updates.
I added a Service Broker that has Alerts and Notifications in it. In adding the service broker I had to go into the Agent Properties, Alert System, enable mail Profile, enabled the failsafe operator, etc.
I get email Alerts from the Service Broker that I Installed. I get the test emails too. On the Properties of the Agent Job, I can get an email of the Completion, success or failure of the Job itself.
If I create a Maintenance Plan, that all that is in it a a Notify Operator Task, set it up with the same users, I never get the emails. If I go into the Reporting and Logging an then sent a email of the Log of the Job, I get that just fine too.

This started AFTER I enable the Alert System, Enable Mail Profile.
The server has been rebooted a few times since this started happening, so its not because I have not restarted the Agent.
If I uncheck the Enable Mail Profile in the Agent Alert System, I still get the Job's Log, but not the email of the Completion, Success or Failure.Hello,
Currently, I cannot reproduce the issue on my test environment. It works well when I create a maintenance plan include the Notify Operator task. This task uses the sp_notify_operator stored procedure. Did you check the T-SQL statements
of the task ? You can get the statements by check the "View T-SQL" on the
Notify Operators Task dialog.
Please refer to the following statement of using sp_notify_operator:

The MRP_ATP_PUB.Call_ATP api not retrieving requested_date_quantity value when executed in custom schema but when executed in apps its working fine, can anyone help on this..
We are passing the required values to the ATP API.
1) The x_return_status is showing as 'S' i.e. success but x_atp_rec.Requested_Date_Quantity is not returning any value.
2) If there is a grant issue how to identify it.

I have a Mac running 10.9.2. My apple wireless mouse will not scroll in Mail but works fine in other applications.

If you've installed a Mail plugin called "Mail Unread Menu" and you know how to remove it, please do that, then quit and relaunch Mail. Test. Otherwise, see below.
Back up all data.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* A folder may open, or you may get an error message that the item can't be found. Either result is normal. If the folder does open and has contents, move the contents to the Desktop. Relaunch Mail and test. If there's no change, put the contents of the folder back and quit Mail again.
2. Repeat with this line:

In firefox, the video from website "tv.vu.edu.pk" is not displaying even i have installed the latest version of JAVA. There rotates a circle around java monogram every time but video is not playing even it is working fine with internet explorer
It's not working here as well with Java 6 U25 on Linux.

rendered images are not appearing on the webpage. works fine on IE. All plugins appear to be present including Adobe Flash
If that only happens on a specific page or domain then make sure that you do not block images on that domain.

*A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (<i>Site Identification</i> icon) on the left side of the location bar.
*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").

*Select the first image link and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.

Unfortunately, most of my advice is in the "hindsight is 20-20" category.
First off, I would never have purchased the peripheral accessories until the 14 day return period had expired. Second, you learned the hard way what the "14 days" really means.
Too bad you didn't do any homework, reading this and other forums and tech sites. Even word of mouth from others. That, more than anything could have steered you towards different phone choices from the get-go and I will leave that there with no further comment other than to say most of the issues you described have been discussed in this forum, ad nauseam.
Once you got into the refurbished phone exchanges, that is where things really went haywire. What someone tells you over the phone is a sketchy proposition, and when it comes down to it, it's your word against theirs.
I think Verizon tried to make it right, though. Remember, they don't make the phones. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
You stated yourself you were a satisfied Verizon customer before this. Had the first two phones performed as they should, you would still be a satisfied Verizon customer.
Doubt any of that will make you any happier, but after you went through the effort of writing such a long post, I thought I'd try. -
Just updated from elements 11 to 13. When I try to use Levels in Elements 13. I click on the slider with my bamboo pen and nothing happens for a few seconds, sometimes not at all. This worked fine in Elements 11.
Never mind my question on the photoshop elements 13 trying to install the camera raw update. It has been taken care of thank goodness!

I am receiving my workitems on portal in UWL. When I try to open any task ( SAP transaction is called) a error comes
"Work item executed". if you try to reopen it then error comes "You are not a receiver of the work item".
The UWL log displayed:
External user [USSAGGARK] of external system [SAP_ECC_HumanResources] not mapped to a portal use
External user [US1047] of external system [SAP_ECC_HumanResources] not mapped to a portal user
Empty or null time zone value from backend
External user [WF-BATCH] of external system [SAP_ECC_HumanResources] not mapped to a portal user
Invalid timestamp 0 from backend system (for user 5841)
Please help me to fix it.

I think task registration is needed when you are calling a WD (ABAP/java) screen . But in my case a SAP transaction is getting called. it has worked fine on other sites in the past without registration.
If its working in other system check the configuration and compare both the system are identical. Then it will work. I guess the SAP transaction if you are calling without task registration then you atleast you need to do XML re-registration in portal. Take your task number and talk to EP team to do the XML re-registration in portal. I think it will give some clue.

5.0 will not open, but 3.5 works fine
i'd recently tried updating my browser to the FF with Twitter variant offered on twitter's site. but after installation the browser wouldn't open at all. it would show up on the task manager, but that was the extent of the browser's functionality. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 5.0 to only have the same luck.
somehow installing 3.5 seems to have the browser working fine. but when upgrading to 3.6. .the same thing happens.
i've tried disabling add ons and eventually uninstalling them to no avail. anything above 3.5 just will not work on this laptop.
if there's anything you can do to help me out. ..i'd greatly appreciate it.Thanks for the feedback. I was able to open some PDF files on Acrobat 5 that I recently scanned at a Fed Ex office with no issue whatsoever. I could extract pages, delete pages, etc, the software Acrobat 5 worked fine.
What I wonder is there a way I can make a change to a PDF file that will then allow me to open it in Acrobat 5? I have a gut feeling there is an adjustment that I can make in Adobe Reader after opening it that will then make the file accessible in Acrobat 5. I am playing with it but no luck thus far. -

After I connect an ipod thro a usb cable, firefox will not load, but other browsers work fine.?
Firefox works fine and is my preferred browser, but after I connect an ipod to my computer it will not load. Even after the ipod has been removed firefox will still not load until the pc is restarted.
Open the Windows Task Manager > Processes Tab and see if there is a '''firefox.exe''' process running, when you can't open Firefox and you find it necessary ti restart your PC. When you try to open Firefox and a firefox.exe process is "hung", you should get a warning message that ''' "Firefox is already running" '''.

I can't get any scheduled tasks to execute on their own. When I run the file from my browser it works fine. I've put a viable username and password (Set by the System Admin.)
The CF/Server specs are Windows 2003, IIS 6, CFMX version 7 7,0,1,116466
This server is behind a firewall and is updated continually with all the IIS security patches etc.
Has anyone had this problem or could offer any suggestions.
