Task Scheduler - Cannot set for Monthly Triger
Dear Microsoft Team,
My name is Luis and I am an Windows 8.1 Pro user.
I am trying to create a Monthly Task, but the combo-box for Months or Days doesn't work.
How to repeat the test:
On the Task Scheduler create a Task(or Basic Task)
On the Trigger section, click on the combo-box Months :=> it will not open
Then click on the combo-box Days:=> it will not open
Problem:
The user cannot select which months or days and the trigger cannot be save for Monthly.
Could you help me with this problem, please?

This is abnormal, in my environment, I cannot repro this issue:
So, I suggest you test in Clean Boot mode to test this issue again, if this issue persists, I would suggest you run Process Monitor in Clean Boot mode to capture your operation, it seems this is related to some conflicts between software.

Windows Task Scheduler does not execute .vbs script as exptected while using CScript.exe
We have a .vbs script that reads a source text file, looks for errors, performs a find/replace and then writes a cleaned version of the file to a destination folder.
When executing the script by manually double clicking on the .vbs file, the script works flawlessly. But when executing via Windows Task Scheduler using Cscript.exe, it creates an empty, zero byte, text file. Task Scheduler is set to run
"C:\Windows\System32\cscript.exe" with the Add arguments (optional): C:\Scripts\myscript.vbs.
Does anyone know of a way to make it work using the Windows Task Scheduler?

End SubSo we ended up getting it to work by replicating the double click function. Meaning that we created a Batch file that calls the .vbs script, then had Windows Task Scheduler run the Batch file. In that way all necessary permissions were passed
through from one environment to another, which was failing when we called the .vbs script using CScript. -

I wish to set a repeat for an event but I do not get a customise option on my iphone 4s so cannot set the third monday of the month - only day, weekly 2 weekly monthly or annually - how do I resolve the problem ?
Week Cal uses the calender database already on your phone. It's just a different front end.

W7 64 Home: Task Scheduler looking for remote computer, can't defrag.
Needed to defragment HD, went to task scheduler, found that it is looking for a remote computer and options to schedule tasks are grayed out.
The option in the right panel for the local computer was selected (there are no "apply" buttons or such). Closed Task Scheduler, reopened, found that it is still looking for a remote computer, options to schedule tasks still grayed out.
Logged in as Admin. Not on a network.

hey all, I have been getting the "cannot get mail" error message on my iphone5 suddenly.
ive been using iphone to check two email accounts for months now, one is gmail and not troubled. the other is mail from thunderbird and i get this error message now saying it is not responding. no settings have been changed or anything, it just suddenly stopped receiving mail on my device as of Tuesday afternoon.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
Task Scheduler doesn't work for restarting the server but event log says successful.

Can you tell more detailed information about how do you set this scheduled task?
To create a scheduler of restarting at specific time, please also try these steps:
Press WinKey+R > type taskschd.msc and press Enter (it will launch Task Scheduler)
Left click from the right pane on the Task Scheduler Library > open Action from the top menu > New Folder... > name it MyTasks
> click OK
Left click on the MyTasks > choose Action from menu > Create Basic Task... (it will open task wizard)
You can enter the Name , for example "Restart", and press Next
In Trigger section you can specify when you want to run your task, for example:
Select Daily , and press Next
Now you can specify the day, the hour and set to recur every day, after that press Next
In Action section you can choose what you want to run, for example restart your system, to do this:
choose Start a program , and press Next
in the Program/script field type shutdown /r , and press Next
please press Finish
Then check if it can work.

I have a new iPad3 and have found I cannot open the month of March 2013 when I tap on it. All other months open OK ! I can see March 2013 in the yearly view and I can open the individual days, and weeks, of March 2013 but I cannot see the whole month in the monthly view. When I try to open the monthly view for March 2013 it returns me to the start screen which shows all the apps etc and closes the Calendar app. Any guidance of what is going wrong and how it can be corrected. 'New Icloud Terms and Conditions' window pops up every time I try to check my email, or when I open setting. My email doesn't load because of this, so I haven't been able to check my email for months. When I click, 'view terms' it takes me to my Icloud section in settings, but the terms don't pop up. I plugged it into my iTunes to see if it would pop up, but that didn't work either. My phone is updated, and I'm pretty sure I already accepted the new terms and conditions on the last update a few months back.

If you are having issues with your iPhone continuing to ask you to accept terms and conditions, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

1. In Paragraph Designer, for Tab Stops, click Edit. Edit Tab Stop dialog box opens, and the Paragraph Designer dialog box closes.
2. Type value in New Position box.
3. Click Continue. The Edit Tab Stop box closes.
4. Open Paragraph Designer. No tabs are recorded.
Discussion of a similar problem occured on this forum in June 2010. At that time, the resolution seemed to be to upgrade to 9.0.3. Has anyone else encountered this problem with these versions?

I have done a inter company stock transfer order , with respect to that Order I made Outbound delivery and posted GR with respect to outbound delivery. I have done MIRO for PO for all the Item ,
Now I need to return some material to supplying plant for some reason, I tried to make GR (MIGO) against the same outbound delivery with movement type 122. the document is posted but when I tried to make complete delivery indicator it does not allow me to do so .
it says me

You have set the "delivery completed" indicator for a stock transfer item.

Dhilipan.I dont think you need to set "delivery completed" indicatory while returning from one plant to another.
For example : You ordered 100 qty. and you are receving only 80 Qty. and you don't expect any receipts anymore. in this case you want to close the open purchase order with delivery completed indicator.
But while returning to vendor or to another plant you are not referring the P.O directly and hence you dont need "delivery completed indicator' -
For iCalendar: Is there a way to schedule a repeat for an event that repeats, e.g., "the 2d Thursday of the month."? All I see are options that will repeat (every day, month, year, etc.) on a given date. Am I missing something?

Why does this adobe install thing pop up?
i was checking my email on yahoo! and this adobe install thing popped up and asked if i wanted to install it. why do i need do install this for safari?
