Tasks sync error: "alarm set for later than entry ...

I upgraded the firmware on my E71 to the latest version. Since then syncing my tasks with Outlook 2007 has been a battle. The main problem is that once syncronised and older than 24 hours, I no longer can edit the tass on my mobile; only within Outlook. I get a "alarm set for later than entry starts" error on my E71. I have reformatted the phone, restored the data, deleted all calendar entries in the phone - resync with Outlook, but the problem persist. I also get duplicate entries at time or entries which do not sync in both directions. This messed up most of my tasks. PLEASE HELP.

I do experience the same issue with my TODO in Nokia E72. NOKIA are you listening here?

  • Nokia E72: "alarm set for later than entry starts"...

    Hi,
    I have bought recently a E72 nokia.
    It replaced my old E50 ...
    I have used a lot the "To Do" calendar entry feature to plan some actions on my old E50 Nokia.
    I was not well impressed by the E72 "To Do" because if I'd like to re-schedule the ToDo entry I cannot do it and I'm receivieng all the time the "alarm set for later than entry starts" error.
    It is crazy because I cannot do anything but just close everything ... abd go to the default screen.
    Is this a bug or it is a bad "feature" of the new Nokia E72 ?
    How can I re-schedule a "To Do" ?
    Is there a different understanding from software point of view between E50 "To Do" and E72 "To Do "?
    Thank you for support.

  • Error:Attribute set for DetailHideShow in view object SalaryDetailsVO faild

    Hi
    We need to add one column in the self service Manager > My Employee Information > Salary history table
    - This column does not exist in the standard view Object
    oracle.apps.per.selfservice.mgrviews.server.SalaryDetailsVO
    - With Jdeveloper we have created a new view that extend the standard view :
    cggv.oracle.apps.per.selfservice.mgrviews.server.CGGVSalaryDetailsVO
    - We used the substitution tools to substitute the standard view by the new one
    with the following column :
    java oracle.jrad.tools.xml.importer.JPXImporter $CGG_MDS_TOP/cggv/per/12.0.0/java/ParodiExtendPJ.jpx -username apps -password
    apps -dbconnection "(description = (address_list = (address = (community =
    tcp.world)(proto = tcp)(host = doradb)(port =
    1581)))(connect_data = (sid=LDEV )))"
    - the new view contain exactly the same attribute than the standard one, we just add one new attribute at the end
    - We used Self-service perzonalisation functionality to add the new column in the table region.
    When we click on the Show buton the this error message appears :
    Error : Attribute set for DetailHideShow in view object SalaryDetailsVO failed
    It seems there is a probleme when extending ViewObject and adding column to table that contains a Show/Hide Detail column.
    Do we need extend also the controler ?
    Thank a lot for your help
    Julien Robinet

    Is the new column you have added part of the show/hide detail? If not, is the correct getting displayed?
    Is show/hide also handled through the attribute of substituted VO?

    Thanks for the replies!
    @Rexilion: To be honest I can't remember, I daily update the system.
    I didn't notice the warnings in dmesg, only till now.
    @anatolik: Yesterday I tried a few things:
    - Installed Linux-ck (ck-bobcat)
    - Removed some btrfs mount flags, now only: noatime,compress=zlib
    It seems indeed to be btrfs related, because I don't have the issues (anymore) at the moment.
    I cannot find the link at the moment, but I found a post on the Arch bug reports that it may be an issue when using compress=lzo instead of compress=zlib.
    So at the moment no problems, but going to try out if I can reproduce the problem.
    Thanks and keep you guys posted!
    PS. Should I report this bug?

  • Error: Attribute set for field_name in view object VO_instance failed

    While I try to add a new row in a table using a VO created on two EOs, it comes back with error message 'Attribute set for <field_name> in view object <VO_instance> failed' for each field I enter the data. Please suggest me if I am missing something while doing it.

    Are you sure you are specifying a value for the attribute of the VO and the value of correct data type.
    Also, please make sure that you have one row coming from each EO , so that the VO has one row, and a outer join is not happening.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I have a template created using UI Shell and have 2 fragments being used as a dynamic region. So far so good. All is well and when i run the application i can see the regions.
    Don't know what this has to do with the problem and its solution. Its confusing.
    Now i created a custom template (.jspx) file and tried to use the same fragments in this template.
    Assume you meant that you used the same task flow reference - correct ?
    If you set definition="public" , does it make a difference ?

  • Tasks sync error

    Hi,
    Hope someone can help me. Using Outlook 2003.
    Have BB Curve 8520, with T Mobile, and using Desktop Manager V 6.0 (recently downloaded/upgraded from V5.0).
    Can sync Contacts & Calendar OK, but unable to sync Tasks - get "connector error message" at end of sync process each time, whether using previous V5.0 or new V6.0 - very frustrating!
    Regards,
    Peter

    I also use Outlook 2003 for pop3 and 1 and 1 accounts. I performed the sync but specifically excluded Tasks by checking/unchecking the appropriate field. So this is interesting.
    I also have a Gmail account which I had to remove from Outlook because it caused it to freeze. On the BB I used Google sync to bring my tasks from Gmail calender. Worked a treat.
    Sorry I can't answer the question directly but have you tried getting support from your carrier?

  • Assign tasks automatically when vacation set for a user

    Hi,
    I've a requirement where user can set the vacation period and rules. When the vacation period starts, all the tasks already assigned to him should get REASSIGNED AUTOMATICALLY to the other user that we configured in the vacation rule. How can I achieve this? Please suggest me some ideas.
    Thanks

    Hi Bill,
    I am able to reassign/delegate the task to a SINGLE user programmatically using the below code.
    private void vacationTask(String taskAction) {
    String errorMessage = "Below users are not valid: ";
    boolean isFirstInvalidUser = true;
    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    FacesMessage facesMessage = null;
    try {
    String contextStr = ADFWorklistBeanUtil.getWorklistContextId();
    IWorkflowServiceClient wfSvcClient = WorkflowService.getWorkflowServiceClient();
    ITaskQueryService querySvc = wfSvcClient.getTaskQueryService();
    ITaskService taskService = wfSvcClient.getTaskService();
    IWorkflowContext ctx = querySvc.getWorkflowContext(contextStr);
    String loggedInUser = ctx.getUser();
    List queryColumns = new ArrayList();
    queryColumns.add("TASKID");
    queryColumns.add("TASKNUMBER");
    queryColumns.add("TITLE");
    queryColumns.add("OUTCOME");
    List tasks = querySvc.queryTasks(ctx,queryColumns,null,ITaskQueryService.AssignmentFilter.MY,null,this.getTaskPredicate(),null,0,0);
    ITaskService taskSvc = wfSvcClient.getTaskService();
    for(int i = 0 ; i < tasks.size() ; i ++) {
    Task task = (Task)tasks.get(i);
    String title = task.getTitle();
    String taskId = task.getSystemAttributes().getTaskId();
    String userInputList = null;
    String[] usersList = null;
    if(this.getUserToAssign().getValue() != null) {
    userInputList = (String) this.getUserToAssign().getValue();
    usersList = userInputList.split(",");
    } else {
    facesMessage = new FacesMessage("No users list provided. Please provide atleast one userId to reassign the task(s). ");
    facesContext.addMessage(null, facesMessage);
    return;
    for(int j=0; j<usersList.length; j++) {
    String userToAssign = usersList[j];
    userToAssign = userToAssign.trim();
    if(userToAssign!=null) {
    UserBean userBean = new UserBean();
    boolean isUserValid = userBean.isValidUser(userToAssign);
    if(isUserValid) {
    List<TaskAssignee> assignees = new ArrayList<TaskAssignee>();
    TaskAssignee assignee = new TaskAssignee(userToAssign, IWorkflowConstants.IDENTITY_TYPE_USER);
    assignees.add(assignee);
    if(taskAction.equals(TASK_ACTION_REASSIGN)) {
    taskSvc.reassignTask(ctx, taskId, assignees) ;
    this.getConfirmMsg().setValue("The task(s) have been reassigned");
    else if(taskAction.equals(TASK_ACTION_DELEGATE)) {
    taskSvc.delegateTask(ctx, taskId, assignees);
    this.getConfirmMsg().setValue("The task(s) have been delegated");
    } else {
    if(isFirstInvalidUser)
    errorMessage = errorMessage + " " + userToAssign;
    else
    errorMessage = errorMessage + ", " + userToAssign;
    isFirstInvalidUser = false;
    if(!isFirstInvalidUser) {
    facesMessage = new FacesMessage(errorMessage);
    facesContext.addMessage(null, facesMessage);
    } else {
    this.getConfirmationPopup().show(new RichPopup.PopupHints());
    catch (Exception e) {
    //Handle any exceptions raised here...
    System.out.println("Caught workflow exception: "+e.getMessage());
    But, when I supply multiple uses separated by comma(,), the tasks are being assigned to the last user ONLY. Any idea why its happening.
    Thanks.

    Is there any way to set the equalizer setting for more than one song at a time. For example, if I have a classical music album with 10 songs, can I set the equalizer for "classical" for all 10 songs at once? It's a pain to have to do it for each one individually. I tried using the "shift" key, but to no avail.

    highlight all the songs you want then right click and go to get info. in the options tab at the top there is an equalizer preset option.

    I'm fairly certain this is expected behavior if you have a CDMA carrier like Verizon or Sprint. The phone cannot handle being on a call and using data to receive messages or email.

  • [SOLVED] Cannot start X: Xorg.bin blocked for more than 120 seconds

    I just rebooted my desktop after a couple of months and now I cannot run Xorg. When I run startx, I get a black screen for two minutes and then a backtrace pops up. At that point I can no longer interact with the console, but I can still ssh and run commands. I've tried setting Xwrapper.conf to needs_root_rights = yes and I have tried just running startx as root, with no help. I'm not sure how to isolate what would have broken this as I have updated so many packages in the last two months. Any ideas what I can try next?
    If it helps, I am using the open source ati driver and my xorg.conf.d is empty.

    I do not see any errors in my Xorg.0.log file, but I've posted it here

    Ok, so I tried unplugging my HDMI monitor and that seems to prevent the hang. When I plug the monitor back in and try to have it detect, it hangs again. I tried connecting via DVI (desktop)-HDMI (monitor) cable instead and have the same issue. I wonder if my monitor is causing the issue (it is pretty flaky, taking several tries to turn it on,) although I find it odd that a bad monitor would cause the driver to hang. Maybe the monitor is not sending the right data to the driver to set the mode. I'll try to find another monitor and see if that resolves the issue.
