Tastiera usb non riconosciuta

Buongiorno,
il mio imac non vede più la tastiera col cavo (USB), ho provato tutte le porte e alimentano tranquillamente mouse e altri supporti, ho provato la tastiera sul macbook e funziona perfettamente.

In your Device Manager, you'll see the USB Root HUB.
Right Click it, Properties, Tab Powermanagement,
See if the option: " Allow windows to turn off this device to save power"
is NOT checked.
Another thing:
Uninstall the Root Hub, Reboot and install it again.
How many devices are plugged in with usb?
Using a USB Hub? Unplug everything USB and start plugging
them things back in one by one. Remember, this helped me,
to use USB 2.0 directly in mainboard and the 1.1 in other
sockets.

Disque dur externe usb non visible sur time capsule

Bonjour,
J'ai installé une time capsule 2TO (novembre 2014) qui me sert de disque de stockage pour mon macbook air.
Tout fonctionne sauf une chose : je veux connecter un disque dur externe 1TOsur l'usb de la capsule mais il n'est pas visible.
Très surprenant car si je branche une clé usb elle est visible, et plus surprenant j'ai un disque dur externe de 80GO qui est reconnu.
J'ai également essayé avec un autre disque dur de 160GO non reconnu également.
Je précise que tous mes disques sont formatés en mac os étendu journalisé.
Avez-vous une explication ?

USB non-function

I have used 865PE/Neo2 mainboard nomally for several months.
But last Monday USB device did not function.
Any device such as USB mouse, memory stick, and my PDA,
was not recognized at all in both front and back USB port.
In device manager it shows USB is working well.
4 USB universal host controller & 1 USB2 enhanced host controller
4 USB root hub & 1 USB 2.0 root hub
I suspect one event that last Sunday my PC was absolutely OK,
but last Monday morning it was down, so I restart,
thereafter USB device did not function.
My PC spec;
CPU: intel P4 2.6GHz
M/B: 865PE/Neo2, maybe fully updated
OS: Windows 2000 SP4, fully updated

I've tried all the ports in my computer, and on my friends computer and I've tried a different cord.. but my Ipod isnt detecting when I've plugged it into a computer.. suggestions?

I'm in a similar situation to yours. I have an ancient MacBook Pro (1,1) with a broken optical drive, and any attempts to get EFI boot working with Linux have resulted in no graphics.
My solution has been to first install Mac OS X via USB, then install Refind. After that, Refind will recognise Arch USB media during boot and you can install.
I'm only booting Linux, so my solution has been to use MBR on the hard drive. That forces the machine to use the BIOS compatability mode.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!

metti il CD di Leopard nel lettore, avvia l'iMac con il tasto "C" premuto e fai i controlli con "Utility Disk", in bocca al lupo!!!

How do I get iPhone USB back to network preferences?

I (like many others) couldn't get the USB tethering to work after (probably) installing new iTunes 10.7.
I managed to delete iPhone USB from network preferences before reading all about this kext stuff etc that are being posted here.
I have now tried:
- uninstalling iTunes 10.7
- installing iTunes 10.6.3
- installing AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext v2.2.0
- installing AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext v2.3.0
- installing AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext v2.3.6
- re-installing iTunes 10.7
+ rebooting / connecting iPhone via USB
None of these has made iPhone USB come back to network list.
Any ideas how to get it back?
I'm running OS X 10.6.8.

Has everyone else managed to fix this or am I the only one who deleted iPhone USB from network preferences?

MacBook Pro - 10.6.8 - Logitech USB devices - Gray Screen

After moving to 10.6.8 my Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse and usb wired mouse cause immediate gray screen after usb connection. On advice from consultation at Genius Bar I did a full re-install of OS and re-install of 10.6.8 and the problem immediately returned. Reviewing other threads there seems to be a fundamental issue with usb (non-apple) and 10.6.8.

I had the same issues and tried the same steps with the same results. I didn't realize it was my Logitech keyboard, but I'll try disconnecting it and see if I get the same result.

MB USB Problems - help please

Hi folks - I wonder if anyone can help. I am having real difficulty with USB on my system :O . My modem cuts out, my scanner won't scan and genrally the whole USB thing is getting to be a drag. gilgaron is correct. power the hub and place the devices that require over 500ma on it-if the hub supports high power-which it should. look at your periphs you will notice that they have the power requirement listed on the sticker.
each individual root hubs only powers 500ma for all the ports not 500ma for each individual port. so the best bet usually is get a self powered hub and place the 500ma+ devices on it. also you may have the option of self powered device instead of usb power. that is also suggested if they need 500ma or more.
