Tax ID Matching Issues

About ten days ago, we registered for an account with Apple to sell iBooks in the iBookstore. The application requires the legal name of the organization as well as a Tax ID. In our case, we have an EIN. Last Friday, I received a message from Apple that the Tax ID and the legal name did not match. I entered them again by copying and pasting them from actual IRS documents, but I received the non-matching e-mail a few hours later.
I am 100% sure of the actual legal name and the Tax ID. We are a not-for-profit organization and I even confirmed the name and EIN on the IRS's website. I sent an e-mail to the iBookstore support group, but have not heard from anyone.
If anyone had a similar experience, please let me know how you may have resolved it.

Luckily this is a very common and simple issue.
EINs take two weeks to become part of permament records, which it must be to be able to be verified by Apple. Wait two weeks from your date of receiving the EIN and re-apply.

What you are telling if it is really happening then i think you have to debugg your system while processing MIRO to know how it is happening.

PO default invoice matching issue

I'm facing a PO default invoice matching issue. As we know, we can use the PO default invoice type to copy the invoice detail information from PO e.g. PO distribution. The following is the problem details:

this is a general rules. invoice distribution shows the Debit entries. and AP Expense Accrual A/C is debited in Invoice while it is credit in Receiving.

Tax condition types issue in sales order

I am bit lost with the following issue. I have searched sdn and other SAP forums for this. There were similar issues discussed but they didnu2019t solve my issue. There was exactly similar issue but it was unanswered. So I am posting the issue here to get some inputs.
This is the Indian tax scenario. I have configured pricing procedure where I have JVAT and JCST. If the company is selling to customer in the same state where company is located letu2019s say region 05 JCST 2% applicable. If the customer is outside region 05 then 5% JVAT should applicable.
=> In the pricing procedure it was like
150 0 JVAT
160 0 JCST
Both will be calculate on the gross value.
=> I have created two new tax classifications for customer master.
JCST   2   Tax liable outside region 05
JVAT 3    Tax liable inside region 05
So in the customer master I have both JCST and JVAT. I have created a customer with region 05 and in customer master under Billing document tab I have entries like below

=> I have created condition record for JCST with the following key combination

=> With the above condition records maintained for JCST and maintaining tax classification as 2 for JCST and 0 for JVAT, I assume in Sales order SAP should calculate tax JCST 2 percentage. But in sales order SAP is not considering JCST and JVAT. For JVAT it makes sense as it does not have condition records. But I didnu2019t get the reason for not getting JCST. When I checked analysis and click on JCST condition type it says condition record is missing. Surprisingly when I click on the access details it shows u201CTaxClass1-Cust. as 0u201D it didnu2019t show as 2 as maintained in the customer master.
When I change the Tax classification for JVAT from 0 to 1 or from 0 to 3 in the customer master, in the analysis when I click on access details for JCST it shows tax classification maintained for JVAT that is as 1 or 3 so it seems SAP is not considering JCST in customer master at all. Why is that so?
The access (condition table) for JCST and JVAT are same.
Any inputs?

This doesn't require to change customer master regularly and default system finds LST or CST 12.5 unless they change to 2% system will not change automatic. So CST 2% Vs CSTfull tax risk is also avoided.

MIRO tax line item Issue

Dear All,
When I post a MIRO having more than one line item, I am not able to find a material in the Material field in BSEG table for my MIRO Accounting document.
Note that I am using 4.7 version & for tax item entry's since the material is not captured in the std. BSEG table I am unable to get how much is the Sales/Service tax Payed against each item/Material.
Kindly suggest Is this anything to do with my SAP version??
or Is there anyway to make my material appear in the std. BSEG table??

Weird iTunes Match issue - song correct on computer and iPhone, wrong on iPad

I hope someone can help.
I use iTunes Match for my mobile devices, with my main home PC being the golden source/reference.
Most songs work fine on my computer, iPhone 4S and iPad3 using iTunes Match ... however a few songs are incorrect on the iPad.
For example, Kelly Clarkson "Breakaway" is plays correctly on computer and iPhone, but a completely different Kelly Clarkson song plays on the iPad (a song we don't even own!).
Troubleshooting ...
a) on iTunes on my computer, iTunes match is up to date and the 'problem' songs are listed as "Matched" in the iCloud Status column.
b) on the iPad, I've tried turning off iTunes match, then re-enabling iTunes match - same issue occurs - the Kelly Clarkson songs show up, but the 'wrong' song plays
c) I've tried restarting the iPad ... no change.
I've read other threads with similar issues - they say contact support - but my systems are out of full warranty and there doesn't seem to be a way of contacting support without paying.
Does anyone have any suggestions ?

1) I did further debug by deleting the song from my computer (leaving the song in iCloud) - then downloading from iCloud .... the song labeled Kelly Clarkson 'Breakaway' in iCloud is not the correct song .... this isn't coming from my system, as the song was 'Matched', not 'uploaded'.
2) I rechecked my iPhone ... the Kelly Clarkson song 'Breakaway' which plays correctly is stored locally on the phone ... it's not coming from iCloud/Match.
3) You mention removing "Music" from the iPad .... how is that possible? I can remove apps that I've downloaded, but don't know how to remove 'native' apps (like safari, music etc.). Also - based on my further troubleshooting, this clearly isn't an iPad issue any more ... it's an error with Apple iTunes Match catalog.
Any ideas on how to contact Apple (without me paying!) to have this resolved?

9@ Route Pattern Matched Issues

Unfortunately I have to deal with a lot of 9@ route patterns in our deployment. I understand weird things happen when 9@ is used, but even this one is boggling my mind. So I was hoping someone could help me understand why it's doing what it's doing.
I have a CSS with a collection of partitions. I'll call the 3 I'm interested in the following: One-PT, Two-PT, Three-PT.
One-PT has a route pattern of 9@ with the Local filter applied going to Gateway 1.
Two-PT has a route pattern of 9@ with the Local filter applied going to Gateway 2.
Three-PT has a route pattern of 9.XXXXXXXXXX with no filter applied (those are 10 Xs) going to Gateway 3.
My phone is assigned to the CSS with these 3 partitions. When I dial 9 981 xxx xxxx DNA says that 9@ from One-PT is always matched. If I remove One-PT from the CSS, then 9@ in Two-PT is matched. Only if I remove those 2 partitions does Three-PT get matched.
Now, as I said above I understand 9@ can introduce weird routing issues, but I thought that the route pattern with 9 and 10 Xs would be more specific and it would be matched. Obviously I was wrong, but I'm trying to understand why I was wrong. Is this because the 10 digit number dialed matches the NANP and the Local filter matches a NANP area code? Thus it's the more exact match?

Matching issue in Data Manager

Hi All,
We are having an issue where we have customer number maintained as both with and without leading zeroes like as 123 and 00123.
If we run the matching strategy we get as None as it is considering those as different value.
Is there some way so that it neglects only the leading zeroes and not all the zeroes in it or is there some other way .
I cannot use only 0 in substitution as after transformation it considers 10234 and 12034 as same a
Please if anyone can need input in this.

But the issue ia mainly maintaining the field value with leading zeros and converting all the value to leading zero values.
Is there a way so that a field can be created as suggested by you so that any value it gets the newly created field has the correct value.
For example : If i import the record with number 10 the newly calculated field should have value maintained as 0010 and also can we specify/fix the length.
If not the only thing i can see is to update the tuple.But i tried this also but i am facing with all the main table value getting changed to blank if i give as replace

Multiple matches issue

Strange issue with voice dialing finds a specific multiple match. I have an entry for "Mom" and one for "Mom - France". When I say "Call Mom" it says there are multiple entries and lists the above. When it beeps for me to speak again and I say "Mom" it always says "Calling Mom - France".
I never mention "France", I speak clearly, and for all other numbers it recognises me fine. If there are multiple numbers for one person (home, mobile etc) it recognises my choice with no problems. So why mis-hear this one with an extra word?

Not a direct answer but a workaround. I presume these are for the same people just different geographical locations.
Combine "Mom - France" into the Mom contact by adding the France number after the first number. Label it "France" so when you say "Call Mom" it will say something like, "Mobile or France?". Or you could just say "Call Mom Mobile" or "Call Mom France".

Epson R1800-color match issues solved

I had reported issues with the printer no longer matching the monitor colors
many of you said to get a hardware device and calibrate monitor
instead I downloaded a newer driver for the printer
still had issues
SO:
I changed from printer manages colors to PS managed workflow and decided to use color profiles from ILFORD (smooth glossy)
document space sRGB-IEC61966-2.1
printer profile- ISGP9.....etc
relative colormetric (recommended by Epson document)
black point compensation ticked
then in Epson interface:
turn off printer mgmt (check ICM box>> then check off)
if you use preview before print, the image will look hideous in the interface, but prints fine
looks pretty good
prints match monitor colors
so I am thinking it is the Espon color profiles that are whack

This is all good info, but for me at least, the real issue is not whether you can get the driver/printer to function (most people seem to be able to get it working) but when you get it functioning under Snow Leopard are there color issues.
Although the printer may work fine for basic documents etc, it is for color-critical photo work that I need my 2200. Many other posts are reporting that although the driver is functioning, there are fairly severe color issues when trying to create high-quality photographic prints using the standard color-managed workflow. This would be rather crippling for photographers and other artists who rely on their 2200.
Maybe those posting here could comment on whether they have been using their 2200 for photographic purposes and whether or not they have seen color issues. I wonder if some people just aren't noticing a problem because they aren't doing color-managed photographic work.
I haven't installed Snow Leopard yet and I'm trying to determine if this is affecting a very small percentage of people or if everyone is having trouble getting proper color from their 2200 since Snow Leopard. So far I haven't seen a single post specifically stating that they they are using the 2200 for high quality photo printing and have had no color issues under Snow Leopard.

Color match issue in FCPX 10.1.4

I recently upgraded from FCPX 10.0.9 under OSX Snow Leopard to FCPX 10.1.4 under OSX Mavericks. In th latest version of FCPX I recognized that the results of the color match function are very different compared to version 10.0.9 of FCPX. I used it a lot with great results, in the latest version the colors don't match anymore. I re-installed FCPX version 10.0.9 under OSX Mavericks and the color match function is working perfectly. Anybody else has this issue? For now I'm back to the old version until I find a solution to my problem.

Still, the question remains - if one adjusts for it in the display calibration (uncheck the box in color)

I do miss having the "super white" setting from FCP 7 - however - one really always has to
"finish" the look after exporting to file - or at least I do. In fact i usually need another pair of eyes
for really subtle stuff. Prefeably youngsters that aren't part red/green color blind like me.

New iPad apps & iTunes Match issues?

So I have a 64gb AT&T new iPad. I've had it for about a week now and it's been working great except for downloading new apps, and downloading some stuff from iTunes Match.
When I try to update apps, it just goes back to the home screen and it says that these apps are "waiting." I tried rebooting it, which did nothing. When I plugged it into my computer most of the apps updated sucessfully, but some were still just waiting. I tried a different wifi network, then I tried it over cellular data and nothing works. I don't want to have to plug it into my computer everytime it needs to update an app.
Then with iTunes Match, the frikin thing REFUSES to download some songs and albums. I will listen to an album all the way through, then I'll look in the music app and nothing has downloaded. I'll press the little cloud with the down arrow button and nothing happens. I've tried force quitting the music app through multi-tasking, and sometimes it helps a little bit, but most it just does nothing. Occasionally, it won't even play songs, even if I've already downloaded them.
It behaves the same over different wifi networks and over cellular data, so I know it's not my internet connection. My iPhone 4 has been working perfectly over the same wifi connection (in terms of both app updates and Match).
Has anyone else been experiencing this? Does anybody have any solutions? Suggestions?

I have had this problem since buying my new iPad 3 weeks ago. The situation you have described is almost identical to my own. Touching the little cloud icons appears to activate a downoad but this never gets underway and looking at dpwnoads these are shown as waiting. A 'Genius' at my local Apple Store was unable to solve this problem. The strarnge thing is that iTines Match on my iPhone4S works fine with iOS 5.1, but clearly there are some issues Apple needs to sort ourt with the new iPad. I'd be really interested whether anyone offered you a solution or whether you found one elsewhere?

Colour Match Issues

without wanting to upset the current findings here's my simple problem:
in Pages 08 I created brochures,leaflets and posters for people and never had this problem. I update to 09 and all of the colour matches I create using the colour picker or magnifying glass vary when they are printed. On screen and as PDF's they look great but when they hit a print press they look awfull.
The same thing has happened to websites I've just created in iWeb 09 borders and boxes all show up as other colours.
So whats happened to the software?

Tell us what step by step process you used to create the pdfs in v08 and how, if at all, you have changed that in 09 and possibly there might be something you can correct.
Color management has always been a dicey issue with Pages, so nothing new there.
Check what color values the documents contain. Quite likely there is some conversion from RGB to cmyk that is causing the issue.

RMDATIND BMMH2 Tax category classification issue

I am creating material masters using the direct input program RMDATIND. The structure BMMH2 has the fields for transferring the tax category classification by country. I have done this many times for sales areas that produce in or ship from several different countries. We now are converting a business that ships from 15 different European countries, each with its own VAT tax classification. The BMMH1 and BMMH2 structures and the RMDATIND program only allow for a maximum 9 different countries. If I try to create the material masters with only 9 of the countries, I get the "TAX category classification is not maintained" error. How do I get around this?

when you say more than 9 tax classifications for a country , the answer is 'No'.
when you say more than 9 countries answer is 'YES'.
To answer main question..
1) File should have BMMH2 data.
2)Input structure in LSMW should have all BMMH2 fields
3)If a country has more than one value it should be filled in a single row..
For ex: - BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA' BMMH2-TATY1 = 'MSWP' BMMH2-TAXM1 = '0'. BMMH2-TATY2 = 'MSWP' BMMH2-TAXM2 = '0'. BMMH2-TATY3 = 'MSWP' BMMH2-TAXM3 = '0'.(means per country one row for tax info)
4) Fill all the blank fields with NODATA '/' values.
The final BMMH2 structures should look like this...
BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'US'.
BMMH2-TATY1 = 'MSWP'.
BMMH2-TAXM1 = '1'
Transfer record.
BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA'
BMMH2-TATY1 = 'MSWP'
BMMH2-TAXM1 = '0'.
BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA'.
BMMH2-TATY2 = 'MSWP'.
BMMH2-TAXM2 = '0'.
BMMH2-ALAND1 = 'CA'.

IPad and iPhone iTunes Match issue.

Have IPad3 and iPhone 4S and in my iPhone am not getting cellular in general settings in place of cellular am having mobile data please help me out on this regards. And am not able to connect to iTunes and share my data like music, videos, and photos. In my settings I don't have iTunes matches and I don't have PC to configure iTunes how do resolve this.
