  • Payment Wizard Skips Payments

    Hello Guys,
I have this challenge that I really need someone's help to overcome. When the Payment Wizard is used to execute a payment run, about 70% of included transactions do not get executed, I do not get any error messages too, the invoices just don't get paid.I have to make such payments manually using outgoing payment.
Anyone with any tips on how to resolve this situation should please drop a few lines in response.Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Kind Regards

In the 9th step of the Payment Wizard you can check the 'Non-included Transactions'. There you can see if any of the invoices were left out of the payment and what is the reason for that.

  • Payment Wizard :outgoing payments for customers

    Hi,
it would be very nice if the payment wizard could handle outgoing payments for customers.
I can pay a credit memo for customers manually but not by payment wizard.
    For example:
    1 invoice +1000u20AC
    1 credit note -1500u20AC
    total = -500u20AC
--> payment wizard should create outgoing payment about 500u20AC.
    best regards
    Markus

This Requirement is very important. I can't understand that the payment wizard can't handle this case.

  • Payment Wizard without payments (on account)

    Hello,
maybe I misunderstood the payment wizard but if I add manually a payment (incoming/outgoing), why does it then appear in the recommendation report (as the payment is already DONE)?
I don't want to transfer the payment on account back to my supplier/customer and he won't do it either...
If on the BP master data the checkbox "Single Payment" is activated, the situation becomes even worse as I cannot combine incoming and outgoing payments on account with invoices anymore, which would at least give it a small sense...
The SAP Support stated that this is intended as it is and I wonder why? In SBO 2005A payments on account were not listed in the recommendation report and my customer is understandably confused right now...
So, if there is any possibility to get the behaviour from 2005A in 2007A, I'd like to know it
    Kind regards,
    Sebastian Kleiner

    Hi Sebastian,
in 2007 the manually executed payment on account appears in the recommendation report as long as it is not reconciled. In case of an outgoing payment on account, the amount will be displayed negative in the report & may be included in the payment run to reduce the total payment amount by that sum. In essence, the application states in the recommendation report that there are outstanding invoices to be paid, but also unreconciled payments. It thus gives the user the opportunity to avoid overpayment.
The functionality of 'Single Payment' defines that the Payment Wizard is to create a separate payment for each open invoice. As long as an invoice is not reconciled, it is open, regardless of whether there is a matching payment on account or not.
Please consider using the internal reconciliation functionality to match payments on account with the appropriate invoice(s) or include the payment on account in the payment wizard run to adjust the payment. When using 'single payment', you need to use the internal reconciliation since then negative journals are not included in the payment run, you will find these transactions in the 'Non-included Transaction Report' at the recommendation stage of the payment wizard.
    All the best,
    Kerstin

  • Part Paid Invoice Missing From Payment Wizard / Outgoing Payments

    Hi,
Having a bit of an issue with a purchase invoice on SAP B1. In brief:
The invoice was posted fine, then they paid 3 invoices but the total was short. The user allocated payment manually using outgoing payments to the 3 invoices, but partially paid the 3rd. This left an outstanding balance of 4,500 EUR
The user ran a payment wizard this morning and the invoice was picked up, along with any recent invoices for supplier, and showed the outstanding balance. The payment wizard was saved, not executed.
Upon review, the payment run was canceled so it could be re run with specific suppliers / invoices selected. However, the part paid invoice is now not showing on the payment run. Likewise, if you try to manually allocated payment for the supplier, it does not give the option to pay anything on the invoice, just all other open documents.
The invoice is still open, and the amount due on the BP balance is the amount o/s not the full amount which is correct.
I have tried recreating the issue on a test system of our own and a backup of their database and cannot get the same problem.
Any ideas would be of great help becuase I have searched the service portal and forums and can;t find anyone with a similair problem and running out of ideas myself.
    Thank you in advance
    Martin

    Hi Martin,
Sometimes when cancelling payment and reconciliations there are values in the tables opch and pch6 that are not reset correctly and then appearing as fully paid.
Check if the Invoice is returned from this query:
select 'AP Invoice' as 'Document Type', docentry, docnum, cardcode, t0.transid, doctotal, paidtodate, balduedeb - balduecred as 'JDT1 Balance Due'
    from opch t0 inner join jdt1 t1 on t0.transid = t1.transid
    where doctotal - paidtodate = 0 and balduedeb - balduecred != 0
    and shortname != account
Let us know how this works out. The query only checks opch you can check the paidtodate field in pch6 as well.

  • Payments Wizard error

One of our clients is experiencing a problem with the Payments wizard for payments to their suppliers. They executed a wizard, which did not generate any payments, even though there are payments which need to be made against the suppliers.
If we try to run another wizard to make the payments it comes up with no data and no further payments, for the invoices that are due for payment.
there have been successful payment runs before and after the two that resulted in no outgoing payments, The main problem now is that we cannot make payments against the invoices and suppliers listed on the two wizard runs that resulted in no payment.
if anyone has seen anything like this please let me know, i can provide screenshots of the steps in the 'faulty' wizard runs, but i doubt there is a configuration error.

    Hi Philip,
We've had problems of this nature with clients running earlier patches of SP1 (eg 2005A SP1 patch 11). I believe this was fixed in a later patch (19 or 20 if memory serves me right but it's worth checking with SAP to be sure). To fix the incorrect payment runs we had to get SAP to connect to the client's server via a Webex session and correct the database.

    Hi Atif
The problem is with your date selection criteria.
With what date range you are trying do run Tax Payment Wizard differs with the date when you fill PLA Account via Outgoing payment.
Just check and let us know please.

    Hello,
I encountered an error in the Payment Wizard screen as I was creating an Outgoing Payment for petty cash expenses. On the “Recommendation Report” screen, I clicked “Non-Included Trans.” and saw that one of the vendors (Vendor Code: WILCO) has the following error:
“The document amount is greater than the max. amount allowed in the payment methods linked to the BP”
Upon checking, the “PCF-W” Payment Method linked to WILCO does not have any restrictions, nor does WILCO have any credit/commitment limit set. I have also appropriately defined the Dummy Business Partner Bank (under Payment Terms) as well as checked the “Included” box for PCF-W on the Payment Run-Payment Methods screen.
Could anyone please help me on this?
    Salamat,

PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!
If anyone knows of a GOOD reasonably priced video editing program NOT from APPLE I am still looking for suggestions. I want to do more video in future, but obviously NOT with iMovie !!!

  • Payment Wizard Error

When I run the payment wizard I get an error from within SBO when it comes to display the Payment Methods.
I have run profiler and the SQL that SBO generates is corrupt.  Just wondering if anybody else has had this and knows of a fix?
    SELECT T0.PayMethCod, T0.GLAccount, T1.CurrTotal, T0.Descript, T0.Type FROM [dbo].[OPYM] T0 INNER  JOIN [dbo].[OACT] T1 ON  T1.AcctCode = T0.GLAccount   INNER  JOIN [dbo].[CRD2] T2 ON  T2.PymCode = T0.PayMethCod   INNER  JOIN [dbo].[PYD1] T3 ON  T3.PYMCode = T0.PayMethCod   WHERE T0.Type = N'O'  AND  (T0.BankTransf = N'C' ) AND  T0.GLAccount > N'' )  GROUP BY T0.PayMethCod, T0.GLAccount, T1.CurrTotal, T0.Descript, T0.Type ORDER BY T0.Type DESC

    Hi Brenton,
Thank you for this question. I am sorry, but I never had this and I don't know a fix as well
    Maybe someone else knows...
But as you already stated, what you are reporting certainly is a bug.
Please post it also on the Service Marketplace http://service.sap.com/ (the main place to report bugs) so that it will be fixed.

    Hi Experts,
I am running a Payment Wizard for a Bank Transfer for a certain vendor, however I get the error "No matching records found  'Bank Codes' (ODSC) (ODBC -2028)".
I already checked my Bank settings and payment method settings but I still get the error.
I checked SAP Note 1980507 but the scenario should be without bank details in the BP payment terms tab. But in my case, its defined yet I get the same error as reported.

  • Service Tax On Down Payment and Tax Payment Wizard

    Hi All,
We would like to make a down payment and apply service tax to it.
Once i create a AP Down payment invoice with the service tax, make an outgoing payment against it, create AP Invoice and adjust the down payment, now after following this procedure, when i run the tax payment wizard, the service credit available becomes zero.
It works well in case of partial payment but not 100% advance.  Has anyone faced this issue??
    How can this be resolved?
    Thanks,
    Joseph

    Hi Rahul,
Exactly! The system doesnt consider the tax on DP when we check through Tax Payment Wizard.
I guess this is a missing functionality? What do you think? Because there may be a chance that the service tax may get deducted at down payment! What is your take on this?
Looking for valuable responses from other experts too!
    Thanks,
    Joseph
