Tax Profile Button in R12 Customer Site

Hi Friends,
I am facing some issue with the Tax profile Button on the Customer Sites level.
If am into receivables, Vision Operations Responsibiltiy, i am able to see the Tax Profile button and enter the Tax registration numbers and other stuffs. But, when i move to Receivables, Vision Czech responsbility, I am unable to see the Tax Profile button at all.
There is a need to enter this in Czech resp.
How the button is dependent on OU? What is the thing, i need to check for this?

    When we are setting up a new customer thru Order Management, the "tax profile" button is not available, however it is available in when setting up a customer in AR. We are in 12.1.3 version now.
    But in 11i version, we were able to setup customers in both OM and AR without any issues and all selections were the same. So, could any expert clarify me about this issue?

    I have a question regarding the Tax Profile for the Party. Tax Consultant has done the Tax setup.
    As per his setup we need to populate the Tax Profile.
    I am not sure which API I should use for this. We need to convert the data from legacy to oracle.
    Fiscal Classification Type Code *Fiscal Classification Code
    are stored in the HZ_CLASS_CATEGORIES and HZ_CLASS_CODE_DENORM.
    But I am not sure how to tie this with the Party.
    Also I used the
    hz_classification_v2pub.create_code_assignment API,
    but it just created a entry in the hz_code_assignments with the class category
    as 'CUSTOMER EXCEPTION CLASS' and CATEGORY as Leasing. But it doesn't appear on the screen.
    I would appreciate if you can let me know how we would be able to do it.

  • Custom SIT

    Dear All,
    I have created a SIT in UAE loclization for People - Enter & Maintain > Special Information. its working perfectlly with all his segments (as per KFF). Now same SIT I want to bring in Employee Self Service.
    These steps i followed :
    1. Find which menu is attached to your responsibility
    2. Find the your menu and check for special information (Function)
    3. Query the seeded special information type function and create a custom function with same properties of seeded function but with same changes
    4. Copy and paste the type from seeded
    5. Copy and paste the parameters for you custom function and do a little change. Paste ur function in highlighted place.
    6. Do the same changes for Web HTML as well.
    7. Add the custom function under this menu (HR_GLOBAL_SS_FUNCTIONS_CUSTOM)
    8. Add the function again in the menu that you using in your responsibility
    Now SIT is appearing in functions list , its opening without any error, but the SEGMENTS ARE NOT COMING IN SELF SERVICE.

    Hi,
    Make sure you perform the following steps to configure the SIT in SSHR:
    1. On the SIT page click on this link Personalize "Special Information Types" on top of any of the SIT tables.
    2. Click on the personalize "pen" image for the row "Flex: Key flex for Sit"
    3. In the page that follows one of the rows is "Segment List". This is where you personalize to show the SITs that you do want.
    Say, you have 3 SITs in your page A, B, C with corresponding segment names a1, a2, a3 for A, b1, b2, b3 for B and c1, c2, c3 for C and you want to hide B. In the segment list text box, enter the segment list for the other two only "A|a1|a2|a3||C|c1|c2|c3".
    In this string, "A" is the internal context Code of SIT A, not the Title.
    The segments a1|a2|a3 represent the segment's Name, not the Column.
    Example: COST_ALLOCATION|Proportion|Location|Classification|Account|Cost Center|Product Line|Sub-Account|Minor Location|Inter-Location||EXPATRIATE_INFORMATION|Expat Indicator|Tax Service|Host Country|Assignment Start Date|Return Date|Host Salary|Host Currency
    4. Click the Apply button.
    5. Click the link Return to Application (bottom left of screen). You should now only see the SITs you specified.
    6. Click on the Add button to enter the SIT. You will see the segments for the first SIT even if it was hidden. The next steps take care of that situation.
    7. Click on the link Personalize "Special Information" from with the Add page.
    8. Again, click on the personalize "pen" image for the row "Flex: Key flex for Sit"
    9. In the page that follows, enter the exact same string used in Step 3 into the "Segment List" row again. Click the Apply button.
    10. Click the link Return to Application (bottom left of screen). You should now have the restricted view of SITs on all your pages.

  • Outlook beehive from customer site - proxy not working

    I'm trying to use outlook beehive from the customer site network. I'm able to connect to the internet from IE but not able to connect to outlook beehive. The proxy is set in IE. It gives the "Invalid server" error on entering the login information for outlook beehive.

    Thanks for the response. But it is not working.
    Did the following:
    1) navigation: control panel-->Mail-->Oracle connector for Outlook-->Show profiles button-->Beehive-->Properties button-->Oracle beehive extensions for Outlook-->Properties-->More settings
    2) In connections tab unchecked the direct connection to LAN
    3) In proxy button I set the proxy of the customer site (the SSL port is 443)
    4) Gives the invalid server error
    Similarily tried by checking the "direct connection to LAN" button and using the proxy. But does not work.
    Also, I checked in thunderbird by giving the manual proxy but it does not connect to thunderbird oracle email.

    So ik have a button and i added a html site with the "add" options to my form.I want the button to open onclick that site so i can make a html about some info of the button image (tool to use with metal)

    I am pretty sure I've done this on one of my past project..
    why don't you try it out?
    Another route would be use customer APIs (TCA APIs)...which I am sure can achieve what you're looking for.

    Note that the "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.<br />
    Firefox shows the "Use custom settings for history" selection as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.<br />
    If all History settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History" (Never remember history means that Private Browsing mode is active).
    "Use custom settings for history" stays selected if at least one of the History or Cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes from the defaults are made.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Move AR Customer Sites into different Customer Account under same customer

    We are going to upgrade the ERP AR from 11.5.10 to 12.1.3.
    We would like to rearrange the customer account and customer site.
    For example,
    There is one customer Name "ABC" and customer site "DS01", "DS02", "OM01", "OM02" in 11.5.10.
    Target to rearrange the customer site into 2 customer account as follow,
    Customer "ABC"
    Account : "Account 1"
    Site: "DS01", "DS02"
    Customer "ABC"
    Account: "Account 2"
    Site: "OM01", "OM02"
    However, there is existing transaction link to those site already.
    Please advise if it is possible to split some AR customer sites into two account by data patch or by upgrade.

    The refresh button is there to allow the data that populated the work item to be refreshed. The data that you want refreshed is part of the rendering of the form and would only be refreshed when the browser refreshes. Refer to MrHinsh's reply in this

    R12 Customer Conversion should be done via  TCA API  OR  Standard interface table? Why ?
    Which approach is more suitable  kindly let us know your thoughts.

    We have used interface tables just to have better control and reprocessing abilities. You may need to be little careful about the TCA tables.

  • Button to execute custom action(s)

    I have created 3 custom actions which print, e-mail, and fax Opportunities when executed.   These actions work perfect from the SAP GUI, but I am unable to execute them from PCUI CRM as there is no button which is linked to these actions.   Please note that there is a button which prints the opprotunity, and a button which sends an e-mail, but these buttons do not execute the custom Actions which I have created!
    I would like to add a button (custom or standard) to PCUI CRM which would execute my custom Actions.
    I understand how to add buttons to PCUI CRM, but I do not know how to link that button to my custom actions.   Is this even necessary?   I see an "Actions" button, but am not sure if this will automatically link to the custom actions.

    Thanks for your your help but it was the same thing Timo said before and it didn´t work for me. But I found out what was wrong :) and you were both right.
    I used a template that had a form and when I inserted a form on the page this form was inside the form in the template and that did so that it didn´t work.
