Tax related problem in miro

hi experts,
I am getting a problem in posting through MIRO. Puchase order having net price Rs. 4000/- after calculating tax the amount will be Rs. 4714/-. In MIRO when I ticked calculate it is showing a balance amount. I have also cked purchased order the amount is Rs. 4714/-.

Hi,
In MIRO, first enter Document Date, Reference and then enter PO No and then press enter, it will default Quantity and Value as 4000 INR from PO.
Also it will default the Tax Code at Item level, select the same Tax Code at Header Level in "Basic Data" Tab and then activate "Calculate Tax" indicator, it will calculate Tax as 714 INR and show in Tax Field in "Basic Data" Tab.
Now the Balance will be 4714 INR, enter this value in Amount field in "Basic Data" Tab and then Press enter, balance will become Zero.
Then click on "Simulate" and Post LIV Document.
Note: - Do not enter Amount in MIRO initially, let system calculate tax and then enter it. And proceed exactly in the above suggested method, it should not give any error.

Tax base amount in MIRO transaction

hi!
I want to change the tax base amount in MIRO transaction as per my client requirement. But in MIRO i am unable to change the base amount means even if i change the base amount , if i tick the calculated tax check box, it is taking original material cost amount.
Can any one tell how to solve this problem?

Hi
You can change the tax base amount at time of invoice verification - for this you need to set change base amount indicator in Financial account global settings -> tax on sales/purchases -> basic settings -> change field control for base amount -> enter you country's calculation procedure and check the change indicator.
After setting this at time of IV, you can enter tax base amount and tax under tax tab.

Historic deferred tax-related reconciliations cannot be canceled

I have a problem with a payment that i need to cancel, it sends me a message Historic deferred tax-related reconciliations cannot be canceled [3821-29]. This payment has the docdate feb-2009.
Any ideas?

The account seems fine, it's just that they've been doing reconciliations like this for years and have never needed the Automatic Reconciliation Differences Account defined. Just want to ensure everything is working fine. My concern we more so the remarks that were automatically populated 'Historic deferred tax-related reconciliations cann', as the Canadian localization doesn't deal with deferred tax. I can't explain why it was automatically populated and what is meant by that message.

Excise and tax not calulating in MIRO

I have created on PO in which system showing exicse and VAT amount.
But while doing MIRO it is not showing any tax and exice even though i selected calculate tax option.

Check your tax code appearing during MIRO. If it corrosponds to the excise & VAT then the taxes should appear on MIRO

It is cross-counties transportation. Part of route outside company country is non-taxable, inside part is taxable. Amounts are proportional to distance and hence become known only at time of invoice receipt.
Users do not want to create 2 separate invoices. They would like to have ability to enter 2 lines in MIRO. But I need your help to understand, how it can be done? Service receipt is done by single line (because actual taxable / non-taxable amount is unknown at that time). So, is it possible to enter non-taxable amount in MIRO in some additional line?

That certainly looks like a low memory issue, 2 GB ram is barely enough to run Mac OS X versions from Lion through Yosemite. The high number of Page Outs and killed processes show very high memory pressure.
Try adding memory, but be sure it is high quality, Mac certified memory such as that from OWC, http://www.macsales.com or Crucial, http://www.crucial.com

Withholding tax not working for MIRO

Hi Sap Experts,
I am able to get TDS challans posted by J1inchln for Invoice postings done by Fb60 Transactions , However for the same vendor when I do Invoice postings through MIRO transactions I get mesage that " No unpaid tax lines exist for the given selection criteria"
Detailed look of error says under System Response that " For withholding tax recovered from the vendor, tax line is present in table BSIS, but the corresponding entry is missing in table WITH_ITEM , which is necessary for challan updation"
Also observed after posting that the accounting doc of MIRO has Business place & Section code present & shows Posting to Withholding tax accounts
But the MIRO invoice tab for Withholding tax shows With/tax Base & With/tax amount as blank. Could You please advise why this happens.
How this could be avoided?
What is the solution for this MIRO not getting Witholding tax?
I shall appreciate your resdponse by giving max points for a solution.

The values will differ based on COndition Types...
You can check the same in ME23N .... Conditions tab....also
Based on the condition type you can take the value and percentages as basic price or tax..etc

GUI related problem in solaris 8 02/04

Hello all,
I am facing GUI related problem in the software running on solaris when I upgraded from solaris 8 02/02 to 8 02/04.
The GUI which was working fine on 02/02 was giving some menu selection problem in 02/04. In GUI applications i was unable to select items after double clicking it in solaris 8 02/04 while it was working fine in solaris 8 02/02.
Are there any O.S. related problem?

For LIV document, maintain number range number, year (may be till 9999) and from & to number u=in transaction OMRJ.
Maintain the number range number for the transactions RD & RJ.
Path: IMG--> Matl mgmt --> LIV --> Incoming invoice --> Number assignment --> Maintain Number Assignment for Logistics Documents

Facing problem in MIRO posting

Dear Experts:
We are facing problem in MIRO posting for March 2014 entries. When we submit post for a Particular MIRO by giving back date 30.03.2014 then system generating MIRO number but that MIRO number not showing in vendor line item display or document flow. If we go back then system giving below message.
For your kind information I'm also attaching our number range screen shot.
For current period we are not facing any issue. Would you please suggest us what should we do to post MIRO by giving date of March 2014.

[Solved] Can't upgrade system - cups related problem

I can't upgrade (pacman -Syu) my system due some cups related problems.
AS you can see, although the problem seems to be cups related, none of the other packages has been upgarded as well.

Well it sort of did, but I have to admit I had to check the forums before continuing...the messages I received were:

Customer master LSMW: Upload of multiple tax categories problem

Hi All,
I am using standard batch input method (RFBIDE00) for creating Customer Master.
In Sales Area Data-> Billing Document tab-> TAXES there are two rows, one for tax category MWST and the other for ZPFS.
In each i need to fill the field TAXKD (TAX CLASSIFICATION) .
In my LSMW there is structure BKNVI which has got all the tax related fields:
Departure country (ALAND):
Tax category (TATYP):
Tax Classification (TAXKD):
Here I need to populate 2 tax categories and hence I have to call the structure BKNVI two times each time passing the tax details for 2 different tax categories.
Any pointers on how to do this.
When i go for LSMW this is the error i'm getting ....
ERROR:
Check tax classification; maintenance is incomplete
