Can any one let me know the differnet taxation procedures in srilanka, the differnt types of taxes on the purchase and at the time of selling the product.

Should the local root folder mirror the remote site, i.e./public_html/

The FTP is performing well other than changing the intended file.

You should be uploading only the contents of your local root to the public_html folder (remote root).
The index.html you use as your site's home page needs to be in your site root. If you look at your Files window in DW, you should have something like the following...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     index.html
     images
     pages
          page1.html
          page2.html
If you have any folder between Site - and the index.html page, like...
Site - Whatever you named your site
     mywebsite
          index.html
It will upload to the public_html while still in that folder, so to find your page online, you would need to type something like...
www.mydomain.com/mywebsite
public_html should NOT appear within your local files and if it existed there, would cause a redundancy if uploaded. You would need to type www.yourdomain.com/public_html to see the uploaded pages.
If you could post a screen shot of your expanded Files window while connected to the server (just connect and click the Expand button in Files, don't drill down into any of the directories), we may be able to see the issue.

Try uninstalling your MobileMe control panel. Does that clear up the error?

LION Compatiblity with ATO Autralian Taxation Software

Here is , How to set up ECI and AUSKey ATO (Australian Taxation Office) Software on a new Mac running LION OSX 10.7
A) Install Java for Lion – <http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1421>
B) Enable applet plug-in by going to
GO>UTILITIES>Open Java Preferences and TICK the option box ‘Enable applet plug-in and Web Start applications’ in the 'General' part of the settings
(For new user you need to apply online for a key with the ATO)
For user with an existing AUSkey, you will need to recover the key from your previous computer or previous system.
a) For System 10.4.xx to 10.6.8
Go Home folder>Library>Application Support> select the Folder “AUSKey” and make an archive (ZIP)
b) Transfer this “AUSKey” Zip folder to your new Mac computer Desktop
On the new Mac, running Lion
1) Download+ Install Auskey V 1.4.0.3 Software from ATO, here

After installing AUSKey software
2) Unzip on your desktop, the folder AUSKey recovered from your previous mac and keep it open on one side of your desktop

- to do this , Hold Down the OPTION key and with your mouse click on the GO menu on the menu bar of the mac, you will see the LIBRARY in the list, just select it to open it
Open the Application Support folder and Open the AUSKey folder that should be in it.
4) Drag 2 files “Keystore.xml” and “Keystore.xml.bak”, from the Unzipped Auskey Folder on your desktop to the new AuSkey folder
Close all
5) DownloadECI V 6.02 Software from ATO , here
<http://eci.ato.gov.au/release/eciclient602.dmg>
Install it and ignore the message asking to import a database, Click EXIT
6) Go to application> drag the ECI to your dock to create a short cut
Launch ECI, Click Select certificate on the left menu>Click View Bulletin>Close the page>Click continue>Ok the compulsory update
Quit the ECI application by clicking the EXIT button on the left bar
Launch again ECI> Click select Certificate, it should now be installed.
- You can verify with this Next Step, Click on Business> Activity Statements>In Tray>Click OK to update
Click Get New Documents button at the bottom, enter your password to proceed.
The ATO will either download a new document if available or will reply no new Document

I had an app created by a friend and submitted under his name as the developer. He is no longer doing apps so we need to transfer ownership of the app to me under my name. I found an explaination from June 11, 2013 from The App Store team and wanted to confirm if this is the current proceedure. (see below) Thank you.

Dear developer,
Apps can now be transferred from one developer to another within iTunes Connect, for example after an acquisition or when a distribution deal expires. Transferring the ownership of an app does not affect the app’s availability on the App Store. All ratings and reviews will be transferred and your customers will continue to have access to all available app updates.
To transfer an app, go to the app’s App Summary page in the Manage Your Applications module on iTunes Connect and click Transfer App. Make sure that:
• Your account is active
• You have accepted the most current version of your contracts
• Your app has at least one approved version
• Your app is in the Ready for Sale, Invalid Binary, Rejected, Developer Rejected, or Developer Removed from Sale state

(1)Create a class name
SBDSV1 (TRANSACTION) --> New Entries --> Class name (SOME NAME) --> Class type (OT).
2)After entering the above details and saving, the fields Class object name fields   will be blank, make entries as shown below .
1)     Class : BDS_LOC1
2)     Class : BDS_POC1
3)     Class : BDS_REC1
4)     Object name : BDS_CONN00
3)- Now next time logging in to OAOR you can directly refer to this Class name.
4)1)     Go to transaction OAOR, give the class name created.
   2)     Give class type as OT
   3)     Give some name in object key its like sub folder
5) a) Click on create drag down standard doc types will get no. of option chose one
    b) double click on the class name in this new screen.
    c)in the below screen are, you have tabs for details,documentinfo,keywords,create, click on create TAB,

What is the proceedure for replacing a hard drive (after failure) for RAID 5 with IX4-300D?

I have the IX4-300D with 4 hard drives (identical Seagate drives) using RAID 5.
Someday a hard drive will fail and I and I have to replace it. I read through the users manual briefly and I didn't see any documentation on how to perform a hard drive replacement and not lose any data.
So here are my questions:
1) I know per the instructions that Lenovo prefers using identical hard drives. Let's say in 2 years, 1 hard drive fails. Most likely, the same model Seagate hard drive will not be available. So will using a replacement hard drive by the same manufacturer with similar specifications work?
2) Will the front panel (or the software) tell me which hard drive has failed?
3) What is the proceedure for replacing a hard drive after a failure occurs? I read that the IX4-300D is not hot-swappable. So do I just power the IX4-300D down, replace the hard drive, and turn it back on?

It is best to replace the hard drive with one that is the same manufacturer, rotational speed, and capacity, so it does not have to be exactly the same model.
The front panel should show which drive has failed. If not you can check the web interface to find out.

Hi,
When a GL is created it can be a normal GL account or an open item managed GL Account. In case of an open item managed GL Account the debites and credits are knocked off and the net balance in the account indicates the amount amout due or amount receivable etc.
Some of the examples of GL Accounts are GR/IR clearing account, Bank clearing account, accrual accounts, Prepaid AAccounts, Loan account etc.
By default Customer and Vendor Accounts are open item managed accounts.
In SDN you can search for the documentation of Tax configuration. There are several threads on this topic.

With that one I'd first try uninstalling and then reinstalling your MobileMe Control panel. Does that clear up the error?

Queries on proforma, billing and taxation in CRM

Scenario : SAP CRM Services + ECC 6.0
I have the following queries on billing and taxation in CRM:
1. Is it a must to use CRM Billing in case we are implementing CRM Services or can we use R3 Billing?
2. We are using billing plans in CRM service transactions. Can we still use R3 billing or CRM billing needs to be set up ?
3. Can we do taxation (tax determination) using R3 tax engine (CIN) for CRM Services scenario ? In that case where does the billing need to be done?
4. In case CRM billing and tax determination in CRM is a must in our case, can anyone help me with a TTE configuration guide (I believe that tax calculation in CRM can happen only using TTE)?
5. In certain cases we need to generate proforma as well as final invoices. Can this be done using CRM billing?

I assume both proforma and commercial invoice is having the same number range interval which is internal.
In billing use the following user-exit
USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE (Module pool SAPLV60A, program RV60AFZZ)
Since the pro forma is created earlier, this exit should not be valid for pro-forma invoice type.
When the commercial invoice is created, this exit should trigger (if VBRK-FKART = COMMERCIAL INVOICE DOCUMENT TYPE) then put the delivery number in VBFA as the VBELV and fetch
the VBELN if the VBTYP_N is pro-forma invoice (U).
If there is any entry in VBFA with the above criteria, then use the same document number (VBRK-VBELN of pro-forma)
and fill it in the document number for Commercial invoice.
Check with your ABAP-er and you will get a better idea.

The Apple TV will work anywhere, but the content at you local iTunes store will vary. I don't believe the Sri Lankan store has movies or TV shows, so the Apple TV may be very limited in this respect for you. You can still share any content you have yourself in your own iTunes library of course.
