TB stops responding. It takes forever to work. How can i fix this?

Thunderbird takes a long time to load. When I open it and try to read an email, it states "not responding". this happens each time i try to read an email in my inbox. It is a Gmail account. Can I uninstall and reinstall without losing anything?

Try forcing all open applications to close and power cycle the device as outlined in the first two sections of the article below. If the issue persists, try the troubleshooting steps in the second article.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

If your speaker is broken, then you may need to get a repair done.
Are you unable to hear anything at all, or is it just one speaker in particular?

I'm afraid you'll have to wait until both Apple and the makers of your games/apps upgrade to new versions.
Apparently there are still some issues with iOS7 that are being dealt with and the same with some apps.

Did you spill any liquids on your keyboard? If you are in the habit of eating and drinking while using your computer, the keyboard is probably dirty. Use a can of compressed air or a vacuum hose to remove the debris underneath the key. If that does not work, you may actually have a hardware issue.
If you Apple Care, call them and get a case number. Otherwise, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you. Liquid damage is not covered under Apple's standard 1 year warranty or Apple Care.
NOTE: If you are out of warranty and purchased the computer with a credit card, discuss the warranty issue with the credit card company which you purchased the computer with. They are the only ones who can at this point cover the computer after it goes out of warranty with the manufacturer (Apple).

Without having the top button, you couldn't do a hard reset.
I'd say you might be looking at backing up and restoring through iTunes unfortunatley.

Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then alright thats one step down. I would recommend this article as well, specifically sections 1, 3, and 5 which will resolve it if the issue is due to software.

Restart iPhone
