TC range only 30 feet?

Just got my TC home today - set it up - works fine on all machines...if you are within 30 feet of the thing!
I have it on my office desk in my house sitting in the same place my Linksys WRT54G was sitting. With the Linksys I was able to get signal in all rooms of the house and even outside on the patio. Any known issues with TC and signal range? Ive tried all channels and tweaking all sorts of other things in there but only get crappy range (approx 30 feet). We dont have a home phone and the microwave is nowhere near the TC. My wife and I both have Powerbook G4s (1.67Ghz running 10.5.2) any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Im ready to return this piece...

I agree the range *****.
My MacBook Pro is within 6 feet and works fine wireless to the internet....but I can't use TimeMachine.
My Powerbook can't work wirelessly anymore. Can't connect.
My G4 tower used to connect. It backed up wirelessly using Time Machine last night. Today....it can't connect to the wireless. "Connection fails". The Powerbook says my password is wrong...but it's not. And because I can't connect I don't know if the tower's problem is no signal or the password doesn't work.
The entire thing is a POS that should never have been released this way. If there's no firmware update within 30 days fixing this it's going back for a full refund. I don't need a $500 airport station that doesn't work with my two main computers.

  • Variable with range- only 1st value used in manual planning ?

    Hi,
    We're trying to define a column in a manual planning layout that will represent a YTD total.  We have defined a variable  for 0fiscper that contains the range of periods we require in the YTD total.  When we execute that manual planning area with this variable used as a restriction on the data column we want, the key figure values displayed only represent those for the 1st period in the range - not  all periods in the range !
    I'm hoping someone can tell me if manual planning layouts can use variables in this manner.  If not, how can this best be done ?
    Many thanks,
    Blair

    Hi Blair,
    Create a total column using the dynamic column, as a result you would have the individual period columns and the total column in the layout. Now make the individual period columns hidden using any of the options below.
    You could achieve the same, by making the column hidden in the transaction UPX_MNTN
    > Enhance Planning Layout
      > Select the relevant layout
         > Select the enhanced button for the key figure
           column
           > Mark the hidden check box there.
    Alternatively if you are using Excel GUI, you could set the column width of the columns preceeding the total column as 0 (in the third screen of the layout) to make them hidden.
    Hope it helps

  • InfoPackage ABAP Routine for Date Range - Only Start Date Extracted

    I am using an ABAP Routine in an InfoPackage to select data for a 2 year period.  The routine converts SY-DATUM into the Current Fiscal Year and Period, and then calculates the Starting and Ending Fiscal Year / Period of a 24 month period.  The Start and End values are passed to the InfoPackage as l_t_range-low and l_t_range-high.
    The Source and Target are both Basic Infocubes.
    The InfoPackage executes successfully, and the Selection values on the Header tab of the monitor reflect a 24 month period.  Unfortunately, on closer review of the data in the cube, only data for the first month appears to have been loaded.  I’m guessing that the extract was only performed with the From value, even though a To value was also provided.
    I created a simple Infopackage and manually input the selection parameter values just to be sure I wasn’t overlooking something. The InfoPackage performed as expected, loading more data which spanned the selection time period.
    I can provide the code if it helps, but the fact that the monitor reflects a Start and End value suggests that the problem is with the InfoPackage, not the ABAP routine.
    Has anybody ever experienced this before ?  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ?
    Thanks,
    Lyle

    We can write ABAP routine in Infopackage with a range of values (From & To). Make sure you fill all the following information while building the final range information as below,
       l_s_range-sign    = 'I'.
       l_s_range-option  = 'BT'.
       l_s_range-low     = lowvalue.
       l_s_range-high    = highvalue.
      MODIFY l_t_range FROM l_s_range INDEX l_idx.
    As you can see the key is passing the "BT" information for capturing range.
    Hope it helps..

  • Exporting selection or range only

    How can I only export the range (cycle region) in my multitrack Soundtrack Pro project? The only option under the File menu is Export, and then the only options are Master Mix, Selected Tracks/Busses/Submixes, All Tracks/Busses/Submixes, All Tracks, All Busses, and All Submixes. Nowhere does it seem to give the option to select only the range.
    I thought it might do it automatically if a cycle region was selected (in and out points), but it still exports the entire mix...whatever's on the timeline.

    Hi
    I've don't have enough experience to say for sure but if you can't export a selection from a project directly perhaps you could create a compound clip of your selection and export that, even if you have to put it in a new project.
    However compressor WILL export a selection for you. Once you have sent to compressor, open the Preview window (in compressor) from there you are able to set in and out points

  • Exporting selected range only from Excel / Calc

    Hi,
    I would like to know if it is possible to create a PDF that contains only a selected range of cells, when working in MS Excel or OO.o Calc.
    I don't mean just checking the Print only Selection option -- that prints those cells, but into a letter-sized PDF.
    What I would like to do is to have the selection and only the selection - with no surrounding white space (except perhaps a small margin) - in the PDF. That is, the PDF would be resized to match the dimensions of the selection.
    I guess what I have in mind is similar what you would get if you created the PDF as usual, then cropped out the surrounding white space - but done automatically.
    Many thanks in advance.
    PS - I am using Adobe Acrobat 9.3 with MS Office 2007 or OO.o 3.2 on Windows 7.

    I'm not sure this is relevant but I mistakenly wrote above that I was using Excel 2007. Actually, it's Excel from Office 2010 Beta. However, I remember trying this as well in Office 2007 so I don't think that's related.

  • Airport Extreme - Conflicting DHCP Range - Only 1 router set up

    Backstory:
    I recently upgraded my router to the new Airport Extreme from an older Airport Extreme in order to take advantage of the Gigabit ports. The old router worked great, just wanted to take advantage of my 300mbps up/down speeds.
    Problem:
    My router is flashing orange and I get an error that pops up on my computer from the Airport Utility stating 'Conflicting DHCP Range'. Normally this problem occurs when there is more than one router/bridge on a single network. However, I have only the one router with no guest network set up. The wireless connection works fine, but an error pops up and interrupts me every few minutes and gets very annoying and the router is flashing orange, indicating a problem. We have tried turning on and off the 5GHz.
    I've searched the forums front to back and have found others with this problem but only if they have more than one router set up on the same network.
    We have 2 macbook pro retinas running OSX 10.8.3, an AppleTV, an HP printer, and 2 iPhone 5's that connect to the network.
    What can I do to address this issue?!!??
    Thank you,
    Nick

    When you configured the new AirPort Extreme, did you use the option to "Create a new network", or did you use the option to "Replace an existing device"?
    Can you provide the make and model number of your modem?

  • How to specify a JRE range in jnlp file?

    We have a java app which uses Java Web Start. The jnlp file is configured with [j2se version="1.5+"]. So if JRE 1.5 and 1.6 are installed, the app is run on 1.6.
    Now, we have requirement where the app should be restricted to run only within the range - JRE 1.5.0_07 through JRE 1.5.0_17
    [j2se version="1.5*"] will not work - it will always launch the app with the latest jre from 1.5 family.
    I can request an exact product version by including the href attribute. [j2se version="1.5.0_14" href="http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se"/]
    But how do I specify a specific range of JREs in the jnlp file so that JWS picks up a JRE from that range only? So if 1.5.0_07, 1.5.0_17 and JRE 6 are installed, it should run the app on 1.5.0_17.
    Can JNLP really allow you to select specific range of JREs? Is there a good way to accomplish this? Please help.

    *4.6 Java Runtime Environment*
    Several JREs can be specified, which indicates a prioritized list of the supported JREs, with the most preferred version first. For example,
        <java version="1.3" initial-heap-size="64m"/>
        <java version="1.2">
          <resources> ... </resources>
        </java>So your app. would need more along the lines of..
        <java version="1.5.0_07 1.5.0_08 1.5.0_09 1.5.0_10 1.5.0_11 1.5.0_12 1.5.0_07 1.5.0_13 1.5.0_14 1.5.0_15 1.5.0_16 1.5.0_17 " />
        <java version="1.6+" />Actually you'd need the list of 1.5 versions reversed. Well, you get the idea hopefully. For more on versioning, see my [JWS versioning page|http://pscode.org/jws/version.html].

  • Issue with ADF table range paging and sorting

    Hello,
    We have a requirement to support pagination in ADF tables. For this, we have made use of Range paging access mode in the view object level. The paging works perfectly fine with this. But we have another requirement of letting the user do a sort on the table (Yes!! The paginated table). The sort should be applied on all rows in the db and the control should return to the first row.
    Applying sort as it is provided by the fwk, sorts the records in the obtained range only. So we have over ridden the Sort listener in Managed bean for this and are able to acheive the sorting of all rows through a AM method call. We are seeing a problem after this. If the sort action is applied to the key attribute then the previous and next range navigation works fine. If the same action is applied to non-key field, then some times (yea!! This is not consistent) the next set is not fetched.
    Here is the code snippet that is called on Next navigation:
    Map<String,Object> pfScope = AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getPageFlowScope();
    Object objPageNumber = pfScope.get("pageNumber");
    int pageNumber = 0;
    if(null != objPageNumber)
    pageNumber = new Integer(objPageNumber.toString()).intValue();
    BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
    JUCtrlRangeBinding view = (JUCtrlRangeBinding)bindings.getControlBinding("GeDmRequestVO");
    int iRange = getTable().getAutoHeightRows();
    int currentPage = view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().getRangeStart()/(iRange + 1);
    System.out.println("Before " + view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().getRangeStart());
    System.out.println("Current : " + currentPage);
    System.out.println("Page Number : " + pageNumber);
    System.out.println("Range : " + iRange);
    System.out.println("Value : " + iRange*(currentPage + pageNumber));
    view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().scrollRange(iRange*pageNumber);
    System.out.println("After " + view.getIteratorBinding().getNavigatableRowIterator().getRangeStart());
    Although, the new values are not refreshed in the table, the SOPs for before and after print the proper range sizes. And as I mentioned above, the above code works perfectly fine if there is no sort applied or when key attribute is sorted.
    Would appreciate your help on this regard with navigation after non-key attribute sort.
    Thanks,
    Chitra.

    Hi Chitra,
    Can you specify some links to implement RangePaging.....We need to implement pagination.If possible can you share the code or specify the steps how you achieved it.
    Thanks

  • External number range for purchase order response?

    Hi all,
    is it possible to use an external number range when creating purchase order responses (BUS2209, PCO, POR) manually?
    If I transfer the POR from an external system like SUS via XML, can I use an external number range?
    I'm using SRM 4.0 (EBP 5.0) in standalone scenario with Business Connector 4.7 as XML interface.
    Any help is appreciated,
    Karsten

    Hi
    No need to maintian Internal number range.. Yes you need to use an external number range
    Only the PO, RQ & RS are sync and therefore must correspond with the R/3 number ranges.
    The rest, Shop Cart (SC), Local PO (EBP), Confirmation, Invoice, Bid Inv and Bid, aren't synced and can be assigned to any number range. (FYI- using ECS)

  • Range Partitioning a table. Max value to be defined

    Hi,
    I am using a range partitioned table, range partitioned on date, and have defined max value as 6 months after the Creation Date.
    I have a proc which creates the partitions I want in advance by splitting up the max partition.
    - Now what do I do when max partition is reached after 6 months?
    - If I define max partition one year or two year after the current date instead of the currently defined 6 months after creation date. What are the negatives attached with it?
    I can't use Interval Partition and have to use Range only.
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks..

    >
    Any data with a partition key that does NOT match any partition will cause your INSERT query to fail.
    Any partition that has no data to match it will simply remain empty.
    A common partitioning scheme is to define one partition for all old data, one partition with a high max value and then split the max value partition to get the partitions you want in the middle.
    Let's say you want monthly partitions but don't have that much data from before the current year, 2012.
    1. Create one partition for dates < 1/1/2012
    2. One partition each for the 12 months of 2012
    3. One max value partition to be 1/1/4000
    You would just split the max value partition to create each month of 2013. The split could be done ahead of time or a month at a time as you choose.
    The only negative is that any data inserted by mistake that has a super-high date will go into the max value partition. But that is going to happen anyway. If you accidentally enter a date of 3/23/3882 it won't be rejected.
    But it is easy to query periodically to see if you have any 'bad' data like that. And the alternative is that an INSERT would fail because of the one bad record and all of your good data would be rejected anyway so it's not really much of a negative.
    Remember - for best management performance each partition should have its own tablespace and the indexes should all be local if possible.

  • Sales Opportunities - Filtering by non-primary interest ranges

    Hi experts,
    I'm trying to create a sales opportunity report that includes the field "interest ranges".  In our case interest ranges are the supplier products that the customer is interested in.  The problem that I am having is that when I filter and do a search by interest range, only those products that have been set as a primary interest range show up.  Is there a way to filter so that all interest ranges are visable?
    I have tried to find the answer in the SAP notes and by trying different reports in SAP but as I am fairly new to the online community there is a chance I didn't search in the correct areas.  Any help that you can provide me with would be great.

    Hi,
    You would probably need your own report.  Try query report first.
    Thanks,
