Yes. My apologies for forgetting to mention, it
is just example code that others may find useful.
I like to have 'copies' of any handy little utils,
'stewn about the place' as well, in case I need
them while away from my PC.
..Or to link to them for the benefit of others.
"check the content type with the code shown here.."
This is one way to get a (pretty!) version of it.. ;-)

I registered the the wrong information for my iCloud account--I misspelled the account name.  I accidentally spelled blackberry instead of blackbird.  How can I change this?

If you don't want to use an alias you'll have to create a new account as you cannot change the @icloud.com address once created.  You'll have to create a new ID, verify the ID, then use the ID to create the new account, and migrate your iCloud data to the new account.
If you are currently syncing data with iCloud, begin by saving any photo stream photos to your camera roll as mentioned above.  If you are syncing Notes with iCloud, you'll also need to open each of them and email them to yourself so they can be recreated in the new account.  Finally, if you are syncing any iWork documents with iCloud, turn off iCloud syncing in your iWork app settings.
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Then in Settings>iCloud tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom, set up your new ID, verify the email address you use to create it by responding to Apple's verification email, then sign in with the new ID to create your new account.  Turn on your iCloud sync settings and choose Merge when prompted to upload your data to the new account.  When you turn Mail to On you will be prompted to create your new @icloud.com email address.  Be carefull to type it correctly as it cannot later be changed.

I am totally frustrated by the fact that now i have gone to iCloud and after a few synchs, my contacts are all mixed up with the wrong information.  For instance, my email and phone number comes up under someone else's name (a thousand contacts).  I dont know how to repair this.  what a nightmare

An icloud account is designed to be used by just one user.  If you have given your ID or set up your account on someone else's device, then their data will be mingled with your or worse.

  • I have copied over my music file to a new computer and the music shows on itunes but wont play. When I track where the song is located it is reading the wrong information. How do I change this as Edit Preferences has the right location

I have copied over my music files to a new computer and the music shows on itunes but wont play. When I track where the song is located it is reading the wrong information. How do I change this as Edit>Preferences has the right location?

Select one of the tracks with a broken link, press ctrl-i to Get Info. Say No when iTunes asks if you would like to locate the track, then look at the Summary tab for the location expects to find the file in.
Now try to locate the file in question. The two locations should give a clue as to what to do next.
Here is an example with a file I've deliberately moved from the new layout to the old pre-iTunes 9 layout.
This means iTunes is expecting to find the file at:
    D:\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\a-ha\Take On Me\01 Take On Me.mp3
but it isn't there because I've moved it to:
    D:\iTunes\iTunes Media\a-ha\Take On Me\01 Take On Me.mp3
which is where it would have lived back in iTunes 8 (though the media folder would have been called iTunes Music back then as well).
If you can provide the expected and actual locations of a broken track I should be able to suggest the easiest way to resolve things.

What are the steps needed to make the field in the DFF Additional Information for Agent only take numbers, commas & hyphens?
    Navigation
    Bob Sales manager<Ebiz form<service request tab<SR type<DFF<additional information for agents <cheque number
The field Cheque number Character allowed (, -) in the DFF Additional Information for Agent should only take numbers

    Thanks Sridar
If we use Number we cannot separate the cheque numbers with , or -
We need to enter numbers along with comma and '_' in cheque number field.

  • Snapshot, wrong information in OCALMONTH

    Hi Gurus,
We have created a monthly Snapshot following the document called: How to Handle Inventory Management Scenarios in BW
If one month the process that upload the movements from DSO to infocube is not executed (or it's executed and it fails), when we execute again the process the next month old data will be updated in the Infocube with wrong information in 0CALMONTH.(because 0CALMONTH is filled with the system date at the moment of the load).
As result, the old and new data has been added in the same month.
Do you know how to resolve this probleme? or How to avoid it?
Any feedback will be really appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi  David Trapote,
We also faced same problem deriving week or month from system date.
To avoid this problem, we maintained date in a table. week and month will be derived from this particular table instead of system date.
Create a simple program to update table before load starts, include this particular program in process chain after start process(before data loading). Then you can avoid these problems perminently.
Dont forget to create program with user selection for input, so you can update date accordingly.
    Hope it Helps

  • Is there no way to hold the customer service department accountable when give wrong information and charged for it?

We have been loyal Verizon customers for almost a decade and have had nothing but great things to say about our service...until about 2 months ago. Two months ago my daughter moved out of state and decided to remove herself from our family plan, Before doing so, she call Verizon's customer service department to see when her contract was up. She wanted to keep her Verizon service until the end of her contract to avoid the termination fee. The service department assured her that her contract was already up and no termination fee would be charged. You can imagine my surprise when we were charged a $138 termination fee for her line on our next bill. I called customer service again and spoke with another representative (whose name I will not disclose) and was assured that the termination fee was a mistake and that I should simply not pay that portion of the bill and the charge would disappear on the next billing cycle. I did as she said and was shocked a few weeks later when I received a less than civil call from Verizon threatening to terminate my service the next day if I did not immediately pay the $138. My wife received a similar nasty message on her phone. I explained the situation to the rep on the phone, was told that the information my daughter and I received from 2 previous representatives was incorrect, and was told to pay immediately. My daughter and I went through all the proper channels to ensure no charges from termination fees, and both of us were given misinformation on 2 separate occasions. Is there any way to hold this company accountable for its mistake? I have been in sales all my life, and if an incorrect price is quoted, I have to honor the incorrect price, even if it costs me money. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with any company, and I'm afraid that it will eventually cost Verizon not one but five long-time customers.

I shouldn't have to "chalk it up". This company, like other companies, should be held accountable for wrong information. We went through all the proper channels to ensure this wouldn't happen. I know this fee gets waived on a regular basis for a multitude of reasons. Moving nonwithstanding, I was told by two different people who had no knowledge that my daughter was moving that she owed nothing. If two different company employees tell me there will be no ETF, I will take them at their word. This should be good enough. What's the point of getting it reactivated if she can't use it where she lives now?

  • Inconsistent presentation of timestamp revocation information (document is LTV enabled)

Hello, I have encountered a somewhat strange situation regarding the presentation of the timestamp revocation information.
    The following has been done:
    1) A simple document has been created, and a certifying signature with a timestamp (no revocationd data embedded) was created.
    2) On sunday I created an LTV enabled document by means of the Adobe Reader v11.
When I check the revocation data of the embedded timestamp I see that the OCSP has been embedded into the document. This is what I would expect.
    3)  The next monday I did the same check: but now the Reader tells me that the OCSP has been obtained real-time / on-line; somehow it did not recognize any more that the OCSP is embedded (it's still there in the document).
This is not what I expected.
To verify my finding I created another LTV enabled document (on monday): the Reader shows that the OCSP of the timestamp is embedded.
    4) The next tuesday I checked both LTV documents: the Reader does NOT recognize the embedded OCSP any more; it tells me that it has to use the real-time/on-line/local-cache version of the OCSP.
The description of the findings can be found in:
    http://CloudDelivery.eu/7AB04873-1746-448B-B53E-1C1B3F25C6C1/AdobeReader_Strange_Case.pdf
==> Question: is this a 'bug' in Adobe Reader regarding the presentation of embedded revocation info of OCSP's of timestamps or is this 'normal' behavour (if so, where is this stated in the PAdES standard)?

  • ITunes adds wrong information

    Hey guys,
so basically im trying to manage my library because i screwed it up.
But sometimes when I click on a title or even if I just start iTunes it adds information to the titles.
Its basically a great feature, but it often adds wrong information, f.e. a wrong artist or cover.
I tried a lot of different solutions but none works.
    Anyone got an idea?
    Thanks

Make sure that these two options in Edit > Preferences > Store are turned off:
Then exit iTunes and open it up again.  Your metadata entries should then be persistent - with these options checked iTunes will be comparing what you have with the information held in the iTunes Store, and will overwrite with the latter for Store purchases (and if you have iTunes Match).  If you have any iOS devices you should also turn off Show All Music under Settings > Music.

I bought a Compaq laptop for personal use, but before buying i called Compaq customer care and asked about the laptop, they suggested me Compaq 620. I inquired about the laptop they gave me the information about the system, as per the info. provided i bought the laptop on 30 Oct, for it i paid Rs. 28500 and i founded that the information provided was absolutely wrong. They just gave the wrong information about the sound, they told that it is a dual-speaker and consumer laptop but after bringing the system home i founded that its sound is very low, when i complaint it to hp technical department they told me that its a mono-speaker and commercial laptop. I complaint them that they provide me wrong information about the system and due to them i am facing problem, i ask them for a solution for the same but they just ignored everything and try to ignore my problem.I am very unhappy with these things that's why i am complaining you for the same, I want that they should change my laptop and provide me the required laptop as per my configuration.
    Thank You.
    Mimoh Jindal

    Sir,
On 30th october, i bought a laptop (Model:- compaq 620).Before buying i enquired about this model of laptop from your customer care, they told me all configurations including dual speakers and consumer range-laptop, after so much enquiries i purchased the same model from a authorised dealer in New Delhi. The system was sealed and was dos based, no window was their. When i brought the system to home and loaded the window, i was shocked listening the low voice of the system, so i complianed for it to your technical department but they told me that it is a commercial range-laptop with mono speaker and told me that its voice is that much only.
So, i was misguided from your customer care and cheated for buying this product, when i told the technical department about this(misguidance and cheat), they just simply ignored all and refused to help me at all. They totally ignored the matter.
I just want my laptop to be replaced, but the denial of your technical depratment in this regard is compelling me to go to consumer forum. I am just informing you before my this legal steps to be taken in case the further ignorance is continued.

    Hello,
the show mpls ldp binding shows the label to IP prefixes advertisement of every LDP neighbor either upstream (nearest to the prefix) either downstream (more far from the prefix).
The binding via R6 so is a correct binding but it is not used by local node R1 to reach 192.168.0.5/32.
As the sh ip cef shows there is actually a single best path to the destination that is in the direction of R5.
    R1#sh ip cef 192.168.0.5 255.255.255.255
    192.168.0.5/32, version 25, epoch 0, cached adjacency 192.168.14.4
    0 packets, 0 bytes
      tag information set
        local tag: 105
        fast tag rewrite with Fa0/0, 192.168.14.4, tags imposed: {401}
      via 192.168.14.4, FastEthernet0/0, 0 dependencies
        next hop 192.168.14.4, FastEthernet0/0
        valid cached adjacency
        tag rewrite with Fa0/0, 192.168.14.4, tags imposed: {401}
    R1#
So you don't need to care about the additional entries in show mpls ldp binding.
    Hope to help
    Giuseppe

Recipient are 5 users each having own set of permission to data. But, When iBot delivers emails, it shows data of other users in email. Is anyone aware about this issue or can please advice?

Yes, i do have data visibility as 'PERSONALIZED'. Issue is happening randomly after 4-5 iteration of same ibot been delivered and some how it is sending the data of other user from the list of recipients. can you please suggest me how to debug this? Ibot log show is almost same except the sequence of recipient is different, and couldnt figure out any differences from the log.

  • Anyone know who I can file a complaint with about customer service agents giving wrong information

I am a fairly new customer with Verizion and I have been having THEEE WORST time with simply cashing in on a offer that was offered to me! I want to file a complaint on the representatives that have sent me into the store on blank missions and also about the store representatives that did not help or show any empthathy what so ever. I am to the point of cancellation at the price of $700.00 for two lines of service but I will pay. This is how disapointed I am with my service. I came over from SPRINT under the impression I would at the very least have better CUSTOMER SERVICE if not BETTER PHONE SERVICE. This has not been the case and no one at VERIZION TAKES OWNERSHIP. I am in Human Resources/ CUSTOMER SATISFACTION at (removed) and I am also on the Board of Directors for (removed) and if any of these things would have gone down with my reps they would be reprimanded. I am completely disguested with the miscommunication I have experianced as well as how the leadership staff has handled this situation. I am problably going back to SPRINT and paying the cancellation fee with VW due to dissatisfactio if things do not start to look up.

mzkwht13 - You'll need to send a Follow request (located in the upper right-hand corner on their page) to AntonioC_VZW that they'll have to accept.  They, in turn, will need to send you a Follow request that you'll have to accept.  Once you both are Following each other, then you can send them a Direct Message.

  • Wrong information in comumns project panel

I'm using Premiere Pro CS 3.2.0 in windows XP sp3.
Clips captured with premiere to *.avi files.
In the project window the column Audio info shows 720 x 576 (1.422) and video usage shows 32000 Hz etc.
Columns after these are showing also information belonging to other columns.
The column Creation date doesn't show up with information.
Capturing with another program shows the same errors.
Do anybody knows what is wrong?
    John

    John,
    Welcome to the forum.
That is a new one to me. I'd click on the little right-facing arrow (top-right of the Project Panel) and down at the bottom of the drop-down, Rearrange Columns. I'd uncheck everything, so that all Columns disappear. Repeat, and this time, check the Colums that you do want. Hopefully, when redrawn the X'ed "wires" will be fixed.
If that does not work, and Column location and info is part of the Project in CS3, Import your existing Project into a new one of the same Preset, and see if this forces the Columns to correct themselves. Here, I'm guessing that there might be corruption in your .PRPROJ file.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Wrong information when select " Check SLD connetion" in Webdynpro Content

    Hi All,
When I go to Webdynpro Content Administrator, select the button " Check SLD connection" and a new window come up with the details of where the SLD is running.
I noticed the details are incorrect, i.e. port 54200 instead of 50700. I have check in the SLD service Visual administrator and it has correct information of hostname and port number ...
Can you please help to point out where/how did it pick up this information?

    Hi Vincent,
I dont think your sld is configured and running.
    1. since you said the port number is wrong you have to correct the settings in the first place.
    2. secondly you need to check the link which will be in the format http://host address:portnumber/sld and configure the sld there and then check if its up and running.
these steps would be mentioned clealy in the guide may be in the post installation activities please check that and keep us updated.
    Regards,
    Nitin
