These numbers represent hits based on the criteria you maintained in config: Note
u2022     Each goods receipt per line of a PO creates an entry in this table. So for example, total PO lines is 8 but total deliveries is 11. So some items had multiple deliveries.
u2022     Delivery date is based on statistical delivery date in the purchase order.
u2022     The statistical date is calculated by SAP at point of PO creation, based on the lead time from the material master.
u2022     If a goods receipt is made, then reversed, entry will not disappear from this table.
It is worth adding columns "PO item sched.lines" and "Deliveries" into the report. This way, you can determine whether a PO line was goods receipted more than once.

Hello experts
I m getting an error while maintaining output condition records using VV11. The error reads as "862 System error: system cannot read the structure for table B567". Can you pls help in identifying the root cause.
I checked that the condition table 567 has he correct fields and the field catalogue has the fields.

Try to regenerate the condition table B567 using the report RV12A001.
Use TCode SE38, select usage 'B', table '567' and mark the boxes for following indicator
- dictionary
- reports and screens.
Press execute and re-try by maintaining VV11 for the output.

How to track usage of tcodes for a particular Login id

*Kindly tell me how to track the usage of transactions for a particular Login Id. Is there any tcode from which we can get the report for the same? If suppose 100 tcodes has been assigned to a particualr Login Id, I have to confirm whether in the last month have the users executed all the tcodes assigned to them or not.*

The first thing you have to consider is why the tcode is in the role at first place, conventional wisdom is - Role was identified, its functions were identified (or the other way around) and then corresponding tcodes were identified to perform those functions and then role was updated with these tcodes. Now rather than approaching it through the frequency of tcode use, you shoudl revisit the business process or function and evaluate if it is still required in the role. Depending upon this requirement, you should reevaluate your role design. Usually you should just prepare the role-to-tcode matrix and have the business/Function review it periodically.
going by frequency can be misleading, I will give you a scenario - what if the user executes a tcode only once a quarter or 6 months or a year, with rest of the time the function is performed by junior staff or some other team member through a different role. So best practice I can suggest is to review the role-tcode matrix.
You can however check the frequency using Audit Logs in Sm18-20 as mentioned by Vikas above. These are pretty easy to configure but size of logs can get unmanageable depending upon filters.

Reset Usage Decision and reverse posting in tcode QA12

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement to reset usage decision by creating a customer funtion button in tcode QA12 and reverse the posting quantity from restricted area to to be posted area.
I have implemented SAP Note# 175842.So now decision is getting reset but for reverse posting, i need to run RQEVAC50 program separately.But i need it in one go,like if user presses 'customer function' button, system should both reset the decision as well as reverse the posting quantity.
Can anybody tell me how to do this...

I am not sure but I have tried the same thing combining is possible when you do not have any stock posting praposal for selected set of UD.
What you have to do is make a separate program where implement aforesaid SAP note( as suggested in the note) and in the same program call for the screen to cancel the Usage decision(Read the user exit carefully)
QEVA0008-->Usage decision: Customer function key (e.g. to cancel UD) you can create a routine to call the screen & make changes in the background.

By flagging a field on here, yes, that is what it is designed to do.
If you change the delivery address for instance you would surely need to tell the vendor? So you would flag these fields so that the new PO (which can be a PO with ONLY the changes on it, or a full reprint of the PO, depending on which you want), is printed and sent to the vendor.
If the Purchasing group is changed then you may decide that this should NOT trigger a print of the changes, so you don't flag that field.
It is entirely up to you which fields you flag, all, some or none.
There is a flag for each type of document (RFQ, PO, Contract and Scheduling agreement and so you can set different flags for each)
You can also specify the text number to control what the change text is, such as "Delivery address changed" etc.
You can even use special routines that can manage more complex actions for each change.
As susual the SAP system is giving you many options that you CAN use if you want to, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to.

Malicious Usage of Tcode FB01 - Log Question

Hi All
I have found a User who ran FB01 tcode in production system to post for a Company code which the user is not authorized,
I used the ST03N tcode to find the User has run the tcode on that day.
But the problem is the Usage log shows the user running the tcode under Update mode & not there is no log of the user running the tcode under Dialog mode.
I need to Determine if the user has run any batch jobs unknowingly & post for the wrong company code or is it delebarate action.
How can i prove this.
Plz clarify the course of action i need to take to prove whether this was intentional or unintensional action.

TCode to know the "Usage Types" installed on a particular instance

Is there any TCode from which I can know the Usage Types (like "EP Type", "BI Type", "MI Type" etc....) installed on a particular instance?

I had a system recently containing seven sequence files, approx 20 subsequences in each, and around 10-20 steps in each sub-sequence. Every step (except for the NI non-code module types) was an instance of a step type.
Each one of these steps had an Edit sub-step and a code module called through the code module adapter.
In order to make these into "wrapped up" step types it was decided to move the code module to a Post-Step substep (as also done in the NI-IVI step types) - so that developers cannot fiddle with the code prototype or module.
In order to do this I had to open all 7 of the sequence files, make the changes and then ensure that "Apply changes in this dialog to a loaded instances" was checked. This seems to sort of work, but some steps started causing Error 17502 (System Error) when you configure them (call the Edit substep). Over the course of the past few months I have had to effectively check every instance of a type to see if it works (deleting the step and replacing it when it doesnt). Other strange things happened like some of the step type instances now have the "None" (adapter) icon associated with them - but both still work.
The idea of creating a type-def of a step type is a good one, but frustrating that it doesnt seem to fully work. Why should the sequence file also store a version of the step-type - which is what is effectively causing this problem - why not make it so that if you dont have the step types installed in the type palette - TOUGH! Hi Chinni,
(1)SLAPPROVER IS AN ATTRIBUTE in SRM .It is not a transaction in SRM. It Specifies the approver used in workflows based on a spending limit.
(2) r3prodstyp -This contains product subtype - view it comm_hierarchy .and you can see them when you browse product category set type tab.
check this tranasction COMM_PRAPPLCAT here product as Application mapped with R3PRODSTYP

Is it possible to track tcode usage with solution manager?

I am on the BW side of things, but a co-worker from the functional side wants some way to track the number of times a tcode was used in r/3. As I understand it, we used to do this using RBE (Reverse Business Engineering) before the upgrade, but the free version of RBE has been discontinued. Is there a way to track this type of data using solution manager or does anyone know of any way to track this?

Custom Tcode above SE16N to restrict usage

Our users in production want to do a mass maintenance on view ENT5828 which is built upon table JSTO. I have created a custom Tcode called ZJSTO from SE93 by selecting "Transaction with parameters" option and provided screen field DATABROWSE-TABLENAME with view name ENT5828
and skip selection screen for SE16.
Note that this view allows maintenance. and the objective is to restrict users from giving open access to SE16 or SE16N.
This is working wonderful but I could not do mass maintenance as in ALV grid from SE16N.
I could not do the same thing with SE16N. Could anybody let me know if I could create a custom tcode with SE16N defaulting table name to ENT5828 and disabling this field for editing.

Hi,
You can create the Custom tcode on the SE16N..But this will not restrict from entering the table as in SE16. The difference is SE16 has initial screen with table name selection and next screen as selection screen to select the entries ...where as SE16n has got only one screen for table selection and entry selection.
So it is not possible.
You need to create custom table mainatance program for mass maintainance.

You could also use the tcode STAD or STAT to take the same output, but this wil depend on the logs your system has for these.

I have never used this tcode but I had a look at this now and the backend program working behind it.
I can see that it does not do anything - there is no code or logic implemented in this. There is just a back button logic to go back to previous screen and 'End' button works (agaiin to go back to previous screen). My best guess woud be that someone in SAP must be started working on it and then they scrapped the development as they must have developed better functionality (to search and develop Infocubes).
I also did the where used and could not find it to be used anywhere.
Even if you enter any value it just gives a error of input field too long.
This tcode cannot help you in any way I think.
Please let us know what exactly you are trying to achieve and then we can help.
