TCode: PV7I (Training Centre issue)

Hi,
We need to enable the Training Request/Cancellation Request Workflows in the Training Centre (PV7I).
The WFs are fine.
The problem is with the PV7I.
An Employee submits a request for training. The Status of the Training in PV7I goes to "ATTENDANCE REQUESTED".
Now, if the superviosr approves it, the status gets changed in "BOOKED".
But, if the Superviosr Rejects it, the Status is not getting updated.
The WF PE_APPROVE01 doesn't action anything on the Booking if the rejection happens.
Please suggest what can be done to get the status reset.

Hi Surya
I have some problem with PV7i. When i try to pre book the attendance ( request), it gives me a error " You have no authorization for the function or the object" . The concerned user has SAP_ALL access.
Can u pls tell me which auth objects and transactions are to be given or am i missing out on something

Oracle Learning Management - Training Centre Record Groups

Hi there,
I'm trying to find out where in the database OLM stores the correct "Training Centre" information, which makes up the drop-dowm select list (LOV) on the "Maintain Class" form.
I have had a look at the Java Source code and there is a record group pointer Training_CenterRG.
I don't know J-Developer to debug this and find the base table information.
When the class was created there was no "centre" cretaed in the ota_events table.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Oracle Learning Management (OLM) is the new release of Oracle Training Administration (OTA). There are many different versions of OTA and OLM, and there are major differences in the functionality available and the way content is organized. This cannot be explained in a few lines, you have to read the manuals and the delta documents.

Profit Centr Issue

hi all
we are working on project based scenarion, planning strtegy 21 (MTO with Project).
we have following cysle.
Master data creation.
Prject builder creation
sale order creation. linking wbs element with sale order.
MRP run on Project using tcode : MD51
Procurement cycle
SFG materials plann order conversion to production orders.
raw material issue against reservation number created by system w r t prodcuotn order.
sfg prodcution order confirmation & GR.
this is the normal cycle we are using.
we have number of profit centres & according to sales area we are linking thesse profit centres in Projects & as well as sale order. e. g. 100 to 1000 & also we have a dummy profit centre 9999
my observation :
when we issue raw materials against reservation. and when we saw the material document it shows linking of 9999 (dummy profit centr) but when we do the gr for SFG or FG materials it goes to respective profit centre which is link in projects.
i would like to know why system shows me different profit centres for issue / recieved transaction ? if all materials are link to projects only. is there any configuration done wrongly ? or what ever system shows me is it correct ?
please advise me.

please check in production order , which profit center is entered. If you didnot maintain profit center in production order, then it will automatically pick dummy profit center.

Pro training DVD issue

just installed the whole fcp 2 on my imac and was hoping to start playing around with color. i have the peachpit pro training series book, but whenever i try to open the very first final cut file to send the clips to color i get this message 'file's format is too new for this version of the application' i've installed all the avaliable software updates. has anyone had this problem with the dvd?

I could say it's a Leopard thing but what else have you done to trouble shoot this? If you search around the FCP forum, you'll see a host of postings regarding the error message you're getting. You may want to trash your Final Cut preferences to start. Don't ask me how to do that, far more patient souls than I have posted the entire procedure on the FCP board, do a search.
You could also try a permissions repair and even though you don't have any firewire issues, this could be the time for the Guinness Solution (search the FCP forum for that as well). It won't help your error message at all but it will put you in a better frame of mind.

Internet Transaction Sever 'Training Centre' Service PV71 / PV81

The screen is accessable from the portal but i cannot get my head around how i can edit the default selection. I want to change the radio button to default on the ' In Description + Title ' And the Period Drop down to display 'Future which is in the list.
If someone could tell me how this is possible or point me in the right direction of where to even start it will be great apredicated

SERVICE CENTRE ISSUE

I had bought my lenovo p770 mobile phone 3 months back.AFTER 10 DAYS OF PURCHASE I FOUND OUT THAT GPS WAS NOT WORKING ON MY PHONE.I DID NOT VISIT SERVICE CENTRE THEN DUE TO SOME PERSONAL REASONS.AFTER SOME DAYS EVEN THE POWER KEY DID NOT FUNCTION SMOOTHLY.TODAY I WENT TO THE HCL TOUCH SERVICE CENTRE AT PARK STREET KOLKATA.I EXPLAINED MY PROBLEM TO THE GUY AT THE COUNTER.HE GAVE IT TO THE TECHNCIAN NAMED BHASKAR.HE CHECKED IT ON GOOGLE MAPS AND SAID THAT THE GPS IS WORKING.BUT THE LOCATION THAT WAS BEING SHOWN WAS THROUGH MOBILE NETWORK AND NOT THE GPS ONE. I INSISTED THEM AND THEY AGREED.THEN THE GUY AT THE COUNTER SIMPLY SAID THAT SINCE I DONT HAVE GOOGLE NAVIGATION APP INSTALLED SO THE PROBLEM EXIST.I EXPLAINED THEM THAT THE APP IS EMBEDED IN GOOGLE MAPS AND THE PROBLEM IS WITH HARDWARE. THE TECHNISION TALKED TO ME AFTER WAITING FOR HALF AN HOUR AND FINALLY ASKED ME TO SUBMIT THE CELL FOR A DAY AND HE WOULD DO A SOFTWARE REPAIR. I AGREED TO IT SINCE I HAD NO OTHER OPTION. I WILL SUBMIT IT TOMMOROW THOUGH I AM SURE THAT ITS A HARDWARE ISSUE.HOPE HE DOES THE REQUIRED WORK.
THE POINT THAT I WANT TO SHARE IS THAT THE SERVICE WAS NOT GOOD.THE PERSON AT THE COUNTER WAS VERY LOW IN KNOWLEDGE. ALSO,HE WAS NOT MUCH WILLING TO HELP. THE BIGGEST SURPRISE WAS THE TECHNICIAN. I THINK HE DOES NOT KNOW THE FUNCTIONING AND FACILITIES OF GPS.I HAD TO EXPLAIN IT TO HIM.
I REQUEST LENOVO TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER. LENOVO HAVE ONLY 2 SMARTPHONE SERVICE CENTRES IN KOLKATA(ITS NEW IN SMARTPHONE MARKET SO ITS OK) BUT EVEN THESE 2 CENTRES ARE NOT SOLELY FOR LENOVO.THEY ARE IN COLABORATION. THEIR SERVICE IS VERY POOR.THEY ARE DOING SERIOUS DAMAGE TO LENOVO'S MARKET AND ITS REPUTATION.IT IS A MATTER OF SERIOUS CONCERN FOR LENOVO INDIA. NOW I WILL HAVE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE RECOMMENDING LENOVO SMARTPHONES TO SOMEONE.

If via escalation with them you receive no satisfaction, then your local consumer protection agencies would be a potential next step (indeed, I have heard from others that merely threatening to involve governmental or consumer protection agencies can often elicit positive responses).

Train tutorial issue

I have following issue with tutorians in R12.
I have completed the train tutorial for update and got stuck in Step 2 of the flow. I created this exactly as per the tutorials. but something is missing
I run EmpSearchPG and search for employee and then click update icon. This will take to Train flow step1 Update Employee. I can change the data and click Next button. I was able to navigate to Next Button to Setp2 Employee assignment. but when I click Next in this page to go to final step it stays in same page. Also the Drop box is alswas selected as Step 1 of 3 no matter what page/step I am in.
however I can navigate to all step from the top Train Navigation but not through the next Button flow..
pls help..

Sorry all,
I missed one step in a controller.
Anyway the tutorial seems to be incomplete, the steps however, are detailed in the Developer's Guide.
I think I will solve it.

Simple ADF Train Application Issue, Trains are not showing up on UI

Hi
I am new to ADF,I am Using JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0
I have created a bounded taskflow train-flow.xml , with train flow, and three jsff pages sequentially start.jsff,adress.jsff,payment.jsff.
I have used a template Train-Template.jsf for those three jsff pages with the <af:trainButtonBar>.
I dragged that train-flow.xm bounded task flow as region into the Main.jsf page
-->when i run this Main.jsf page no trains are showing up on UI.
Plz help me.

the train bar is not linked to a train model. You need to reference #{ControllerContext.currentViewPort.taskFlowContext.trainModel} from the trainButtonBar to make it work

Tcode ME91F mail sending issues in PO reminder with smartform layout

Hi,
I am facing one problem while executing ME91F tcode.
When i assign script in NACE transaction to print the PO reminder layout through ME91F and send the PO to vendor of that PO through mail. I am able to send it.
But When i do the same through smartforms, i am not able to send the mail.
I wants to know that is it possible to process through smartforms in ME91F tcode.
Please let me know if anyone knows any solution regarding this.

Cost centre issue

Hi Experts,
Earlier in our company,there are three cost centre under three work centres.Now as per user's requirement we have created six work centres and cost centre is same ( three cost centre as
defined earlier).
Pl advice on by keeping same Cost Center is we will able to keep separate Labor
cost separate as per new Work Center's Created?

Cost center is the cost carrier.
As the cost calculation is based on the work center details.
The activities performed at or by the work center are valuated by charge rates, which are determined by cost centers and activity types. Work centers can be:
- Machines
- People
- Production lines
- Groups of craftsmen
As one Cost Center may deal with different Machines - that means different work centers having the same cost center.
The only reason having one to one relation is only for the convience.
