Dear All,
I am Getting ABAP Runtime error while creating table join using t-code SQVI .
When i Go to SQVI - - - then Quick View ZABC - - -Insert Table - - -Add Table EKKO
Its giving me run time error
Could you please hepl me find out any OSS Notes available for this

What is does the short dump tell you, read the first 5 sections in the short dump, this gives usually good info to search for the rott cause.

Tcode SQVI post any security threat in production system ?

hi,
my user is requesting to use tcode sqvi in production, but authorisation team do not allow as the tcode will allow user to do query across.
is SQVI a security critical tcode that we should not let user have in Production system ?
comment and advice will be highly appreciated.

i'm sorry i saw this post too late ... of course SQVI is VERY security-critical. It requires S_TABU_DIS on every table used in sqvi. if you have more than one company code, more than one plant, more than one purchasing organisation you will no longer be able to prevent your user reading data from other organisational structures!! you might as well give access to SE16(N) then.

I would like to know how to validate transfer of data from legacy to SAP
A friend of mine was telling it has to do with <u>SAP quick viewer(SQVI)</u> but could not able to much leads on it

Suren,
Yes, you could create queries in SAP with SQVI and get the data in SAP. But you need to be aware of all the relevant tables in SAP.
For information for creating queries use link:

For getting the relevant tables the easiest way is :
1) Goto Se16.
2) Choose F4,
3) Click on SAP applications and drill down to the relevanttable.

View mismatch in SQVI tcode in User level

Hi,
I have copied an user A from user B.
Everything is same i.e. role,profile,parameter.
Problem is that B is able to execute and see the reults of tcode SQVI in the initial screen
But user A is not only for that tcode.
Any idea?

As described above, there isn't a BOM list as such.
However, you could look at the Equipment BOM Logical Database (CEC) via TCode SE36
This Logical Database can also be used in TCode SQVI or SQ01

If a report got created through SQVI Transaction it will not allows you to transport..
the same senario will effect to the Tcodes SQ01,SQ02,SQ03.....

I know we can do it using SQ01 , but i do not have the access for the same.

Hi Guru,
Please advise how to check the material document posted without excise invoice.
I have tried tcode J1I7 but it seems start to collect the excise invoice first and then material document.
But my case is to find the material document WITHOUT excise invoice for internal tracking purpose.
At the moment we start from tcode MB51 to get the list of material document and check in J_1IEXCHDR / J_1IEXCDTL

Try creating a Query in Tcode SQVI by combining tables MKPF and J_1IEXCHDR/J_1IEXCDTL for your requirement.

go to sqvi and select "Table Join"in data source and enter title select radio button for "basis mode" and enter u reach a new screen in that new screen press "insert table" and give ur table name and again press "insert table" and give another table in thsi way we can joint table in ABAP query.

i am not clear about your requirement. here is what i understood and the solution for it.
if you want the tax code for list of POs then you can get it through standard report.
please goto t-code ME2N
here give your selection parameters. for further processign choose layout with ALV grid.
then select dynamic selection a button with colours. then choose Purchase document item. then there you will find the tax code.
chose not equal to blank and run the report.
in this way you will get the list of POs with tax codes.

OK - Here it is! I forgot I got the step by step procedure on this forum
You can get the information through one more option also. In case of function module you need to execute the module again and again for each user or may be need to write a report. I would like to suggest you an alternative. That is making use of queries.
1. Go to transaction SQVI.
2. In the input field Quick View give the any name for query for example Z_EMAIL_ADD.
3. Choose create option. In the resulting pop up give description in Title field. In data source choose TABLE JOIN. Select Basis mode.
4. In the next screen choose INSERT TABLE pushbutton and in the pop up give USR21. Then again choose INSERT TABLE pushbutton and this time give ADR6.
5. Now go back using back arrow or F3.
6. Now in the new screen you will be under the tab strip List fld select.. From that entries under available filed (on right hand side) select User name in user master record and the first entry for Internet mail (SMTP) address. Now using single arrow pushbutton pointing towards left move these fields to tabstrip List fld select.
7. Now go to tabstrip selection filed. As done in step 6 move User name in user master record under it.
8. Save the changes and go back. A pop up will come asking you to save quick view Z_EMAIL_ADD. Choose yes.
9. Now execute the query. In the input field you can give one user or multiple users at a given time.
This approach is easier and time saving in my opinion and gives output in desirable format.

Where to see the Invoices that are blocked ?

Hello,
I want to see all the vendor invoices that are blocked whhn posted using MIRO transaction in production. I don't have access to transaction MRBR but I do have access to SE11.
Now I know that table RSEG will show the documents that are blocked but it does not have any date field.
If I want to see all invocies blocked on particular date, how can I see that using tables ?

You probably need a join between RBKP / RBKPV and RSEG to meet your requirement.
You could make this join in tcode SQVI to get fast result.
