TCODE to display history or changesof price in a particular material

is ther any report that display the history price of material, changed by, etc?

Hi
Please post the thread with complete details. You need the history, changes for which object? Whether for Material, PO etc. There different Tcodes availble to see the changes for each object
For example: Material  MM04
                    Vendor: XK04
                    Info record:ME14
For Purchasing documents, you can see both header and item changes in document display mode or you can find in the tables CDPOS and CDHDR

My client would like to be able to compare last years and last quarters material prices against the current material price to see if we have achieved any cost reductions over the year.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

    Hello,
Current and period end values of Moving average cost or standard price are available in tables MBEW/MBEWH. You may have to create a report based on this.

  • CJ20N tcode in display mode

    Dear Experts,
I have a task step in workflow. I use a BO method in it . In that method I need to write code to open CJ20N tcode in display mode. I want to know is there any tcode to display CJ20N in display mode. If yes then using call transaction i can go directly to that tcode.
If not then please tell me what code or procedure should i do in order to open CJ20N tcode in display mode. (As per requirement i want to open that tcode in display mode alone. No need to go back to change mode. The task is only for reviewing the tcode).

    Hello Bharath,
I am not sure as to whether you can call the tcode CJ20N directly in a method. Instead of that, you can use separate methods to display the project definition, WBS and Network activity.
Use the respective display methods in the following BOs...
    BUS2001 -- Project Definition
    BUS2054 -- WBS
    BUS2002 -- Network
    PSAFRU --- Network confirmation
    Hope this will help you.
    Thanks,
    Samson

    Hi,
    Dhruv,
Whenever you create purchase order price is suggested from info records (if valid conditions are maintained) , if not from your last purchase order. If info record doesnt exists you have enter the prive manually in the item overview of purchase order. The price mechanism whether Moving average or standard is used basically for valuation purposes only. They are never suggested in purchase order.
If you have updated your material master record with standard price and has changed it. Then it should be valuated at new standard price during good receipt
It is always with standard price valuation that good receipt is always valuated at standard price and not purchase order price.
Kindly check your material master record details.
Also which transaction you have used for changing the standard price in material master record.Use MM02 Tcode and change the standard price as you like.
    I hope this is useful

  • How to get net price of a given material(Just like in VA01)

    Hello Experts,
How do I get the net price of a given material? Just like when entering a
material in VA01(sales order creation). Hope you can help me guys.
    Thank you and take care!

This is a million dollar question.
It depends on how the pricing have been configured in your system and only your SD consultant can answer it correctly. Price in VA01 could be determined by using the pricing conditions or, if allowed, a manual user entry (i.e. when users just type in the price). Discounts, taxes, etc. are calculated in a similar way, also based on the configuration.
Pricing conditions are displayed in transaction VK13. You might want to take a look at an order in VA03 -> double-click on a line and go to Conditions tab. There are buttons Analysis and Condition Rec. that might be useful for your research. It is possible to configure different price for the same material and different customer, distribution channel, etc., so you will have to ask your SD consultant how to get the correct number in each case.
Just FYI the net price on the order/contract is in VBAP-NETWR and condition are stored in the tables Annn, e.g. A901, etc. The tables are generated according to the configuration and are different in each system.

  • Creating a web service to consume price of a particular stock from ???

    hey,
i'm new, donno much about web services in terms of writing it, but i do have some knowledge about wat it actually does...
im here becuz i wanna create a web service to consume the price of a particular stock and then store the closing price along with the dates into a database
now, im abit lost here.. how do i know where to get the information from? is it possible for me to write a web service to communicate with Yahoo! Finance or any other sites which allows consumption of information?

If you are talking about simple XML transformation of the SOAP payload between the client calling your service and the final destination of the message you are routing, the ESB approach may be a better fit.
If you have more complex transformation in mind, with major processing and rework of the message in the intermediary, you may be better of with using the POJO approach. Write your service and embed a callout to the other service in your implementation. If the two services share the same Java Model, you may even be able to re-use the same Java Bean.
To get SOAP Element instead of Java bean, you just need to use the noDataBinding option with either genProxy and topDownAssemble (or assemble). See the WS-Guide [1] for details. Chapter 18 will give you all the details about the different WSA command line parameters.
    Hope this helps,
    -Eric

  • How to create a Platinum,Gold and Silver Customer and how to set different price for a single material based on customer?

    Hi All,
How to create a Platinum,Gold and Silver Customer and how to set different price for a single material based on customer?
    Assume Material is Pen.
While creating Sales Order in VA01 how to bring different price for the same material for Platinum,Gold and Silver Customers.
    Kindly help me out.
    Thanks,
    Renjith Jose

A good place to start is http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/javatips/jw-javatip34.html
Also, do a search in this forum on HttpURLConnection. That class allows you to use POST method to send form data to a web server.
"Hidden" variables are only hidden in HTML. The HTTP that gets POSTed to the web server doesn't distinguish between hidden and not hidden. That is, the content you would write to the HttpURLConnection.getOutputStream() would be something like:
hidden=1&submit=ok(Of course, the variable names would depend on what the web server was expecting from the form.)
Also, be sure to set the Content-Type request parameter to "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"
