Tcode XK03 Search Help

Hello All,
I have a question regarding Tcode XK03 Search help. We would like to modify the search help that is displayed when a user does a F4 on the vendor field. There is a tab called Vendor by Tax Information in the search help that we do not want displayed. When I go and see the name of the search help I see the name as just a '=' sign, and nothing else. Does anyone know how I would go about taking out this tab? Thanks in advance.

Ot edit this search help you can access it directly from transaction SE11, however to do so it is considered a modification in the system.
In se11 ,choose Search Help and inform the name, in this case this is a collective search help .

where left position when displaying and spos = search position
and then save and activate ..

Search help for user field for WBS element

Hi,
how can I add a search help to one of the user fields for WBS elements without modification? Is there an exit which I can use? I want to have a search help for field PRPS-USR02.

Hi ABAPers,

Doubt on Search Help

Hi Friends,
I have created a search help for a customized field in my table . I have assigned the Data element having the Search help to a particular field.
I am not able to get the Search help icon When i execute the Table.
Can any body please help me in this issue.

Search Help for Business Partners in tcode UKM_BP

In tcode UKM_BP or UDM_BP, I have to create a new search help for the business partner field. Can anyone help me with this? Should I create my search help in collective search help BUPA? Or is there a better way to to this?

Steps to do ->
Open Search help - BUPA using SE11 transaction and click F5 Key. Click on F6 Key to create a new Append search help.

How to Assign Custom Search Help to the standard tcode ME53N.

I have created a custom Collective Search ZH_T023_MEPO, I want it to be assigned it to the Tcode ME53N. Replacing the standard one H_T023_MEPO. and i also need to restrict it for only one Plant for other Plantu2019s standard search help H_T023_MEPO should work as usual

The search help in the item overview (of the purchase order) is H_T023_MEPO whereas in the item details section (tabstrip Material Data ) it is H_T023.
Thus, there would be at least two search helps that you need to change or modify.
I would suggest a different approach assuming that your requirement is to restrict the search help under certain conditions (e.g. plant). Implement the BAdI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and implement two methods:
PROCESS_ITEM = check material group of item and invalidate if required
(IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_ITEM_MM~INVALIDATE)
CHECK = closing check of entire PO (in case of invalid material groups return CH_FAILED = 'X'

Hi All,
I've created an Elementary search helps via SE11.
Now I want to link the search help I've created with transaction down payment request screen F-47 , in the field purchasing document.
Expected result, when I drill down in the purchasing doc field, I can see my search help and use it to filter.
Please guide me what should I do ?

Search Help for VA01,VA02 Tcode

I need to develop a new search help in the VA01 and VA02 Transaction Code.
For the below mentioned fields :
Sales Organization, Old Material Number, Material Description, Material type, Plant and Product Hierarchy.
I have created the search help.
But iam not sure about the VIEW.
Please let me know how to write a view for this search help.

and in search help parameters :

PRODH
I took the Hotkey as 1.
Please guide me what are selection conditions that i need to give in my VIEW.

Search help for field of tcode MIGO

Hi,
I want to add search help for Goods recipient (GOITEM-WEMPF) field on MIGO screen, how to achieve that?
I tried with BADI MB_MIGO_BADI, but its now working.
Is there any BADI or field exit available?

i know that there are two options for defining the input help of a field.
1 Define the input help in ABAP dictionary. (recommended option)
2 Define the input help in the screen field. the disadvantage is that there is no automatic reuse.
1st option
Se11 --> create your own search help
    substeps:
        1) Enter short description
        2) selection method : this is the check table/view of the field GOITEM-WEMPF
        3) Search help parameter : parameters used in the search help.
        4) IMP: Import parameters
        5) EXP: Export parameters
        6) Lpos :hitting list [search result]position in the header [values 1,2,3,4,5]
        7)Spos: search position on the dialog search screen.
        8) data elements : they are from the selection method.
        9) Save and activate
        10) test this via the button "test"
       Note: the search help is not yet effective fo the field GOITEM-WEMPF
        11) Attach this search help for the table [ selection method mentioned above]
              a) Goto change mode of this table via SE11
              b) choose goto--> search help> for table
                        or Extras --> search help for table, in the next dialog box enter the name of search help
              C) The proposal created by the system for assigning the search help parameters to the key fields of the table is probably correct. check this and copy the definition.
              d) Active this table.
              e) Call the create entries function for table GOTIME again. the input help of field WEMPF should behave as desired.

To get f4 search help in Abap Web dynpro

Hi web Dynpro Experts,
i want to achieve XK03 Tcode payment mode search help functionality in abap webdynpro,in clearly When i press f4 i payment mode input field a view should open with different payment modes like
a.ebanking payment method,
b.ebanking treasury pay method,
c.cheque ..etc..with check boxes when i select a and b methods types it should concatinate and shown as ab in payment methods field.
I checked for this there is no predefined search helpin data element level(dzwels),and domain level,i hope it is provided by programming.
if i want to achieve f4 search help through free programming?how to do that?
how to re use the same screen design which is in XK03?
please guide me to come out of this issue

Search help for material code in VA01

Dear Experts,
In VA01 tcode in item level if user press f4 in the material code then we will get all the f4 helps for few fields.Now i need to add one more field mtart from mara table in the existing search help of material code.
plz suggest me how can i proceed.
