TCS fails recording from MCU

Hi all,
I found TCS fails recording from MCU when I use 2 Byte characters for MCU H.323 ID.
(Home > Settings > H.323  >(Mandatory) H.323 ID to register )
In that case, we can call and record conferences when we call MCU from TCS using conference's E.164 number.
But we can't record conferences when we call TCS from MCU using TCS's E.164 number.
(During failed recording, TCS outputs error log "Error: Calling stored procedure, Stored procedure error occurred [stored_procedure_error = XML parsing: line 1, character 66, whitespace expected] - Continuing")
This issue can be resolved simply excluding 2 Byte characters from H.323 ID of MCU.
But our customer needs to use 2 Byte characters, so is there any way to do so?

I think I get it now. The hype. Not the scary hype. Not the news articles that say attendees should only use pencil and paper or “burner phones.” What is this, The Wire? I looked all over for Marlo and Stringer and Fuzzy Dunlop and didn’t see them anywhere.What I did see was a killer keynote that made the kind of sense we rarely see in mass media. I saw technical presentations that simultaneously put my mind at ease and made me wary of what is inevitably around the corner. I saw a couple of sessions that were pretty dull but also packed with the kind of important information that will change my behavior once I get back out in The World (especiallyhow I treat my Mac… you know… because nobody hacks Macs, right?)The amazing part is that all of the diverse ideas I was exposed to today seemed to magically coalesce into a unified, albeit...

  • How to handle the failed records from the table when using DB Adapter

    Hi,
    I am reading some records from table using DB Adapter inside my synchronous BPEL process. Say like reading 100 records from table in between after successful reading of 90 records an error occured in 91st record due some various reasons(like DB down, Connection interrupted etc.). Then how to handle this situation, whether i have to read all the records from the begining and is there any option to continue from where it stopped reading.
    Can please anybody help me out in the regard?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Aejaz

    we had the same requirement some time ago and had two option:
    1. ask the R/3 development team add a deletion indicator in the table (and thus not actually deleting the record). this deletion indicator could then be used like for any other standard datasource
    this option was however refused, due to huge data volume after a while
    2. at the end of the load we copied the ZTABLE1 to ZTABLE2. then in the begin of the load (day after) we compare the data of table1 to table2. entries available in table2 but not in table1 are deleted, and we put a 'D'. in deletion indicator; as we only keep the deleted entries for one day, the volume of the new table is acceptable.

  • Need a way to start the package from the point of failed record

    Hi,
    I have a package which loads billions of records, the problem i am having is when it fails after 1 billion record have to start from the beginning. Is there a way where I can start my load process from the failed record instead of starting from the beginning.
    Thanks in advance

    Simply implementing checkpoint wont restart package from the failed record onwards. It depends on how you do data transfer. For example if its a data flow task and if its an intermediate step that fails, then it wont start from failed record onwards next
    time.
    A much better option would be to implement it like this. Have a OnError event handler for the task and inside that use execute sql task to populate a control table with the max key/timestamp value of record which has been extracted.
    Each time check if table has a entry and if present take max date/key value from it. Use the value to filter the source data to take only records with value > fetched value to start from next record onwards.

  • Hotsync failing to download records from Palm TX

    I just got a used Palm TX to replace my ancient Handspring Visor, but I can't use it with my main Windows XP system 'cause it just plain won't pull anything down from the TX. It'll put stuff onto the handheld fine, it just doesn't download anything. It doesn't even acknowledge that there's data there to be retrieved. The only way I've gotten it to properly sync is by installing Palm Desktop 6.2.2 on my father's XP machine in order to test if something was wrong with the TX. And I've tried both USB and Wi-Fi syncs to my computer, with no results.
    I know it's something wrong with my XP PC, 'cause not only doesn't the Hotsync work right, but Palm Desktop doesn't save anything. Put some data into the Date Book, Address Book, etc., press "Save All", and it'll cheerfully act like it's saving it while silently dropping it into the void. Reopen Palm Desktop and it's all missing. I know this 'cause I exported all my records from Palm Desktop 4.0.1 before uninstalling it, then imported them into 6.2.2, and none of them stuck. The only time it showed up was when I was fiddling around installing and uninstalling the Palm Desktops and tried to install 6.2.2 without uninstalling  4.0.1 and the installer caught that the old one was installed and told me to uninstall it to complete the installation. So I did that, and lo, it imported all the records from the previous install, and they showed up in Palm Desktop 6.2.2. Of course it wouldn't save any changes after that, but it could upload them into my TX.
    Anyway, if someone could help be nail down where the Hotsync and Palm Desktop are breaking, that'd be really helpful. I'm at my wits end on this one. Thanks.

    Have you checked the HotSync Manager settings for each conduit?  Are they set to "Synchronize", or writing in one direction only?
    Is there more than one HotSync Account name on Palm Desktop?  Are you viewing the correct one that matches the name in the HotSync app on the TX?

  • OnLocation fails to record from Microsoft LifeCam Studio 1080p HD Webcam

    Hi,
    I finally installed and configured OnLocation on my laptop, and I was looking forward to shooting 1080p footage in my car. Imagine my disappointment when it turned out that OnLocation refuses to record from the camera! I know the camera works because other software can use it (alas, at 720p). Why is it I am not having any luck with this? All the other forums suggested that OnLocation is the ultimate tool for mobile recording to disk, and now I can't even get it to show me the live footage. What gives?

    As Jens mentions, if you use TMS, you can set the "Connection Settings" of the conference to mute the video of the TCS participant.  Once the conference starts, TMS will tell the MCU to connect the TCS with it's video muted automatically, no user intervention is required.
    If you're making these connections yourself on the MCU, when you add the TCS to the conference on the "Add Participant" page or if you've added the TCS as a stored endpoint in the MCU's endpoint list, you can set if you want the video to be muted when it connects in the options.  Take a look at the MCU 5300 Online Help on pg 111, see "Initial video to MCU".
    There is an old feature request (CSCty83791) to be able to mute the video from the TCS without the need of using an MCU, you could try and bring this up to your Cisco Account Manager.

  • DTP does not fetch all records from Source, fetches only records in First Data Package.

    Fellas,
    I have a scenario in my BW system, where I pull data from a source using a Direct Access DTP. (Does not extract from PSA, extracts from Source)
    The Source is a table from the Oracle DB and using a datasource and a Direct Access DTP, I pull data from this table into my BW Infocube.
    The DTP's package size has been set to 100,000 and whenever this load is triggered, a lot of data records from the source table are fetched in various Data packages. This has been working fine and works fine now as well.
    But, very rarely, the DTP fetches 100,000 records in the first data package and fails to pull the remaining data records from source.
    It ends, with this message "No more data records found" even though we have records waiting to be pulled. This DTP in the process chain does not even fail and continues to the next step with a "Green" Status.
    Have you faced a similar situation in any of your systems?  What is the cause?  How can this be fixed?
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Cheers
    Shiva

    Hello Raman & KV,
    Thanks for your Suggestions.
    Unfortunately, I would not be able to implement any of your suggestions because, I m not allowed to change the DTP Settings.
    So, I m working on finding the root cause of this issue and came across a SAP Note - 1506944 - Only one package is always extracted during direct access , which says this is a Program Error.
    Hence, i m checking more with SAP on this and will share their insights once i hear back from them.
    Cheers

  • Form does not display all records from table

    Hi guys
    I modified one form that was based on a signle DB table. I removed certain fields from the table and added some extra fields to that table. Then based on the new table I also modified the form and removed the text items related to old fields in the table and added new text items pointing to the new fields now. II have checked all the new items properties and they have don't seem to be wrong or so. But now the problem is the form does not display all the records from the table. before it used to display all records from the table when qureied but not now. It only certain records from the table containing all new data and also old data but the form does not display other records though I don't see any obvious discrepancy. Remember that the before doing the modifications, I have table back for the old, created another table that contained new records for the new fields, and then I inserted the old records and updated the new table data in the new table with these new table values. So this way I have got my new table. Could someone help why the new modified form fails to display all records from the new table updated table though it display some of them successfully.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Delete record from the form and from the database

    hi,
    i want delete record from the form and the database ,but the record is only delete from the from !!!
    this is my code :
    if //condition then
    delete_record;
    commit;
    end if ;
    Any solutions ??
    thnx

    You have unique key field(s) on the table you are trying to insert which actually restricts you from inserting the same value again.
    When you are deleting the record and issue commit there is a record to be inserted in the table which is a duplicate that's why you are getting this unique error.
    As oracle is not able to insert your commit fails and stops your deletion of record from table

  • Problem with Adobe Audition 2.0 and recording from a 1212m.

    I bought a brand new machine and have be configuring it all week. Everything has been going well, except getting Adobe Audition 2.0 (the new version) to “hear” sound from the 1212m.
    The intel 975 motherboard has an integrated HD sound system already on board and I have been able to get adobe audition to recognize it and record from it. This is what I have Windows XP Pro set to as my default sound card.
    I installed the 1212m and I have gotten my monitors to work by using the XLR jacks on the monitors to the ¼ inch jacks on the 1212m using a VST (NI’s Kontakt 2) as the audio source. So it works.
    What I can’t seem to get to work is getting Adobe Audition to “hear” the sound coming from the 1212m.
    Patchmix seems to be working ok. The audio bars jump each time I hit a note on the keyboard.
    I have configured Audition by going to Audio Hardware Setup and setting it to EMU ASIO and tried every combination of INPUT and OUTPUT, but when I hit the Record button in Audition it just flat lines..
    I was hoping that once the audio made it from the VST though the 1212m and out to the speakers, that getting Audition to record it would be easy, but that hasn’t been the case.
    The Intel 955 Extreme Edition and the 975 motherboard are brand new and I’m worried that being on the bleeding edge of technology, that one of the drivers isn’t working correctly and causing me hours of debugging a problem that is unworkable from my end.
    Hopefully the problem is just some small stupid thing that I’m doing or failing to do (like normal).
    Any ideas would be helpful.
    thanks

    I'm just saving it into a file in "My documents" on the internal hard drive. It's a computer in the office which has been used my other people before me and I have my own file which I was always able to save Adobe sound files into before, so I don't think it's anything to do with me not being allowed or read-only.
    I've also been trying to save it onto USB hard drives. This works when I save it under a different name, but not when I'm just trying to update a file i've been working on. Basically I have to create a new file everytime I add something, so like "myaudit1", "myaudit2", "myaudit3" etc etc, even though it's the same piece of work just updated.
    Hope that makes sense!

    Failed to store data records persistently. Possible causes are:
    You tried to save a record that is already stored in the database.
    This error only occurs with DataStore objects with option "Unique Data Records".
    A unique index was created for the table of active data.
    You can check this in the Data Warehousing Workbench by choosing "Display" for the DataStore object and opening the "Indexes" folder.
    There is a technical problem on the database.

  • Deleted failed DC from the domain (Server 2012 R2) - Now after doing metadata and DNS cleanup, I can no longer promote a new DC to the domain

    I work for a university and teach IT courses to undergrad and graduate students. The details below are pertaining an isolated lab environment
    I had a storage failure in my lab and the DCs became corrupt. This is a university lab environment so there isn't anything crucial on here. I just would rather avoid rebuilding the domain/forest and would rather use this as a learning experience with my
    students...
    So after the storage failed and was restored, the VMs hosted became corrupt. I did a NTDSUTIL to basically repair the NDTS.dit file but one of my DCs reverted to a state before DC promotion. Naturally, the domain still had this object in AD. After numerous
    failed attempts at trying to reinstall the DC on the server through the server manager wizard in 2012 R2, I decided that a metadata cleanup of the old failed object was necessary.
    Utilizing this article, I removed all references of the failed DC from both AD and DNS (http://www.petri.com/delete_failed_dcs_from_ad.htm)
    So now that the failed object is removed completely from the domain and the metadata cleanup was successful, I then proceeded to re-install the necessary AD DS role on the server and re-promote to the existing domain. Pre-Requisites pass but generate some
    warning around DNS Delgation, and Dynamic Updates (delegation is ignored because the lab is isolated from external comms, and dynamic updates are in fact enabled on both my _msdcs and root domain zones).
    Upon the promotion process, I get the following error message (also worth mentioning - the account performing these operations is a member of DA, EA, and Schema Admins)
    The operation failed because:
    Active Directory Domain Services could not create the NTDS Settings object for this Active Directory Domain Controller CN=NTDS Settings,CN=domainVMDC1,CN=Servers,CN=Default-
    First-Site-Name,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=school,DC=edu on the remote AD DC domainVMDC2. Ensure the provided network credentials have sufficient permissions.
    "While processing a change to the DNS Host Name for an object, the Service Principal Name values could not be kept in sync."
    As you can see, this error seems odd considering. Now that I'm down to a single DC and DNS server, the sync should be corrected. I've run a repadmin /syncall and it completed successfully. Since then, I've run dcdiags and dumped those to a text as well and
    here are my results...

    From what I can gather, there is a definite DNS issue but I don't have any stale records to the old DC stored anywhere. I've tried this with a new server as well and get similar errors...
    At this rate I'm ready to rebuild the entire forest over again. I'm just reluctant to do so as I want to make this a learning experience for the students.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    As you can see, there seems to be some errors. The one that I did correct was the one around the _msdcs NS record being unable to resolve. For whatever, reason the name wasn't resolving the IP but all other NS tabs and records were. Just that one _msdcs
    sub-zone. Furthermore, the mentioning of any connections to root hint servers can be viewed as false positives. There is no external comms to this lab so no communication with outside IPs can be expected. Lastly, they mentioned a connectivity issue yet mention
    that I should check the firewall settings. All three profiles are disabled in Windows Firewall (as they have been the entire time). Thank you in advance for your help!

  • How to delete a particula record from InfoObject

    Dear All,
    I got some problem situations and would like some suggestions from any of you.
    <b>Problem detail</b>- one process chain was failed due to could not activate an ODS-A
    - ODS-A and ODS-B contained InfoObject-0BP_GUID
    - errors were found and referred to the InfoObject-0BP_GUID.
    - The errors referred to one record composed of incorrect data. I still wondered where it came from since normally, 0BP_GUID keeps only guid.
    I'd like to delete the incorrect record.But I do not want any impact to InfoProviders.
    I'm not sure how to resolve this case. This has to be very carefully managed because it happened on production system.
    Actually, I did find one thread in this forum "Delete SID table content". But I'm not sure whether it could be applied to my case.
    Any suggestion would be appreciated.
    Thank you very much.
    -WJ-

    Unfortunately you cant delete data without inpacting the data in the.  This is how BW works and you will appreciate this because youur transaction data is secured and you wont face any data issues later on. Let me give you an example. Lets sa your ODS or cube stored sales data and in the ODS you have sales org, customer and amount. When you run the report, data is read from this cube /ods, but to fetch the master data it goes to the master data tables via SID. When the transaction data gets loaded and when you try to delete a record in master data, it will let you do.
    If you still wish to do, proceed as follows:
    1. Delete the data in cube first.
    2. Delete the particular record from the master data table.3
    3. Reload the data to the ODS / cube.
    Without deleting the transaction data in the ODS / Cube the system wont let you delete the data in master data and you will get any of the following messages.
    (a) " not all master data could be deleted
    (b) "the master data can not be deleted".

  • Recording from DAT using SB Conn

    Long time ago I have recorded DAT tapes using my Denon DTR 2000. I used digital recording from CD for that.Now I am considering using SB Connect for burning CD's (DAT?is such an old stuff?don't want to loose my recordings). Anyone has tried anything like that? Any problem with SCMS?

    BES,
    Which input on the back of the card did you use? The Line-in is the stereo input. Ensure that you have the cable fully inserted on both ends. Also check with another source such as a CD player or personal radio. This will tell you if the tape player may be sending only the left, or if the input jack is failing.

  • Is it possible to start a recording from source code?

    Hi everybody!
    I'm currently using JProfiler in combination with JUnit tests to collect resource consumption metrics of features in our product.
    A homemade JUnit runner starts and stops the JProfiler recording and parses the recorded data. It then compares the recorded values to predefined limits and fails the test if they are exceeded.
    Now I want to change this to use the flight recorder instead. I found a nice article explaining how to parse .jfr files here: Using the Flight Recorder Parsers | Marcus Hirt
    Unfortunately I can't figure out how to start and stop a flight recording from a JUnit runner besides using the jcmd tool.
    Can anybody help me out?
    Thanks a lot
    Tobias

    Answering myself once more since other people might stumble upon the same problem.
    In the end I created a TestRule which I can add to the JUnit Test Class.
    The interesting parts of the code are:
    public class ProfilerTest implements TestRule {
        @Override
        public Statement apply(Statement base, Description description) {
            return new PerformanceLimitsStatement(base, description);
        class PerformanceLimitsStatement extends Statement {
            private PublicFlightRecorderRunner runner;
            private final Description description;
            private final Statement base;
            public PerformanceLimitsStatement(Statement baseParam, Description descriptionParam) {
                description = descriptionParam;
                base = baseParam;
            @Override
            public void evaluate() throws Throwable {
                runner = new FlightRecorderRunner(description.getTestClass());
              // start profiling
                runner.startupProfiling("jfr/"+description.getTestClass().getSimpleName()+"."+description.getMethodName()+".jfr", annotation.cpuRecording(), annotation.allocRecording(), annotation.methodStatsRecording(), annotation.monitorRecording(),
                        annotation.threadProfiling());
                // run a test method including its before and after methods inside a simple time measurement
                base.evaluate();
                // shutdown profiling
                final File performanceSnapshot = runner.shutdownProfiling(description);
    This uses a PublicFlightRecorderRunner - code:

    This creates a .jfr file which can be used later.
    I parse it in the TestRule to determine if the test violated memory or time limits, in which case the test is failed. (see the link in my first post for information about parsing .jfr files)
    The code may not be the prettiest but so far it's working well.
