TD503 Element in 856 Inbound

Hi Gurus
In 856 inbound, where the element TD503 (SCAC) code from segment TD5
should pop up in SAP.

Hi,
If you are working with 856 Pick Pack Advance Ship Notice to SHPMNT02 IDoc, then it should be mapped to segment E1ADRM1 field PARTNER_Q.
For more information on data mapping, please check this document.

  • EDI for 856 inbound

    Hi Experts,
Please help me how can I add a new field in EDI for 856?  I'm not a EDI/IDOC developer.  I have a need to add a new field for incoming 856 EDI.  I found a field in IDOC to map my requirement, but my EDI/IDOC developer is asking me where do we map this in EDI?  Could some-one help me identifying an existing field or adding a new field to EDI?  What's the recommendation?  Please help me on this.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thank you.
    with regards,
    Muthu Ganapathy.

    Hello Muthu
First of all I have to point out that it took me about half an hour to find out the essential data related LGPBE ( Storage Bin ). It would have been much easier if you had provided these details in the first place.
Nevertheless, the definition of data element LGPBE was giving me the crucial input:
    Definition: storage bin
         Warehouse Management (LE-WM)
The smallest addressable unit of space in a warehouse, referred to as a
         "slot."
Because the address of a storage bin is derived from a coordinate
system, the bin is referred to as a coordinate, for example, 02-04-03
refers to row 02, stack 04, level 03.
         Warehouse Management (LE-WM)
Smallest addressable unit of space in a warehouse (often referred to as
         a "slot").
Since the address of a storage bin is frequently derived from a
coordinate system, the bin is referred to as a coordinate; for example,
         02-04-03 refers to row 02, stack 04, level 03.
I cannot tell you which field in the ANSI 856 message you need to fill.
Presumably I know which segment one should fill in case of UN/EDIFACT D.96A DESADV message.
Based on this it should be quite easy for you to find the corresponding segment in message 856.
    Reference: [Edifactory: D.96A DESADV|http://www.edifactory.de/msginfo.php?s=D96A&m=DESADV]

A group of segments providing details of the individualdespatched items.
Segment group 18 contains the segment LOC which most likely is the right place for the storage bin information.
      Segment group 18: LOC-NAD-DTM-QTY
    Condition: C,100
A group of segments giving location information and whererelevant, additional addresses, date and time, andquantities.
        LOC, Place/location identification
        Condition: M,1

  • What T-Codes do Inbound 855 and Inbound 856 EDITransactions trigger?

    Hi Folks,
I know inbound 856 is a call transaction method. It triggers VA01 transaction.
Likewise, Are inbound 855, 856 call transaction methods or not?
If yes, what transactions (T-Codes) do they trigger?
What are the process codes  (inbound) for 855 and 856 inbound?
    Thanks,

    Hi
for sending data from SAP to POS u can use WPMA tcode with the help of that Tcode you can send
    Merchandise category information
    Article master data
    Control data
    EAN
    Bonus buys & coupons
    Promotion discounts
    Assortment lists
    for inbound scenaro -
    you can use standrad IDOC
    like
    WPUBON01 - Sales transactions, receipt-based
    WPUUMS01 - Sales transactions, aggregated
WPUTAB01 - Means of payment (Upload day-end closing POS)
    WPUKSR01 - Cashier statistics
    WPUFIB01 - Financial transactions
    WPUWBW01 - Goods movements
and process these IDOC with thep of Tcode BD20 or report RBDAPP01

  • Creation of settlement rules for WBS element

    Hi,
Iam having problem when creating the settlement rules for WBS elements. The business goes like this.
We have XI interface which creates the Idocs and an inbound program(customized) to process the Idocs. When the Inbound program is run the WBS elements are created and settlement rules are created for the WBS elements. The inbound program is run automatically thru batch job.
First time when the Idocs are processed about 95% of the WBS elements have settlement rules created and for other 5% settlement rules are not created. The Idoc is in status 64. I tried reprocessing the Idoc and then the settlement rules are getting created succussfully. The problem is Iam not able to find why the Inbound program is not processing succusfully when its run first time but works when reprocessed.
I appreciate if anyone can send their views.
    Best Regards
    SK

    Hi!
You might set the processing to check not only once the relevant IDocs, but more times...
Check out these programs, and set them into a batch job periodically...

  • Mapping more than 1 Element  to only 1 element

    Hi
As per my work scenario, i need to map more than 1 element on the Inbound Message type to only 1 Element on Outbound Message type in Integration Respository of XI 2.0 using Graphical Tool Editor. since I am new to the Technology
Can any one can suggest me. What would be the better option i.e Graphical Tool Editor or XSLT or Java Mapping.
If possible provide any urls for.
    Thanks & Regards
    Shailaja

    Hi Shailaja,
as in your case since the scenario seems to be very simple i would suggest you to use graphical mapping itself in this case.but when the scenario becomes very complex,we can go for either java mapping or xslt mapping.
for graphical mapping, go through this link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ee/bf9640dc522f28e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
for xslt mapping go through this link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/83/2200cb50d345c793336d9a1683163e/frameset.htm
for java mapping go through this link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e2/e13fcd80fe47768df001a558ed10b6/frameset.htm
concatenate two or more fields in the source and map it to one field in the destination.this can be done even based on conditions in graphical mapping.if you have a problem doing the same, please let me know.
and please go through this link which clearly explains the 3 types of mappings.

  • Inbound idoc status 51.

    hi,
i am using asn 856, inbound delivery,
      in segment E1EDT13.
if the  qualifier is 007 , its working fyn.
if the qualifier is 006, it gives an error msg:
status code 51(please enter the delivery date or goods issue date).
    how should i proceed.

    Hi,
Why do you need to populate the value in itab T_DLGN?
This internal table is used in FM GN_DELIVERY_CREATE to create delivery as I mentioned earlier. Please go to an include program LV50SF13 and check the following logic which gives you the error message VL 562.
      IF xkomdlgn-lfdat IS INITIAL  AND
         xkomdlgn-wadat IS INITIAL.
        PERFORM message_handling(sapmv50a)  USING cvbap-posnr

  • Outbound 856 - Error generating an IDOC

    Hi Everyone,
We have a scenario where we need to generate an IDOC for Advance shipping notification for 856 outbound, the basic settings required to do the same are done using the message type DESADV and IDOC type DESADV01. However the IDOC is not getting generated and encountering an error while generating an idoc for 856 outbound from VL02N transaction, when checked the processing log the error with the message 'IDoc type DESADV01 cannot be processed by  IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY' is displayed. Following Partner profile details are maintained in WE20 for the basic idoc type DESADV01,
    processing code DELV ,
    message type 'LAVA'
    application V2,
also checked the fm attached in WE41 for the process code and found that it is the same. Can anyone give me a clue as to why IDOC is not getting generated for this message type,
Your quick response would be highly appreciated,

  • Accessing fileName element

    Good morning,
I'm attempting to use bpel to manage the moving of some flat data files to an FTP site. I need to access the fileName element from the Inbound File Adapter and pass it to the Outbound FTP Adapter. I've came across some references that this can be done, but I'm having difficulty know how to setup the variabe within the adapter wsdl's.
    I'm working in version 10.1.3.1

Hey Kalidass, Thanks for replying, I should have included a link to your article as well, as I had reviewed it already. I'm afaid it's just a little over my head as I don't know how to create a variable within the in and out bound wsdl's and assign the fileName values.

    hi,
    1. create your directory configuration using directory wizard
and you'll be sure that everything will be ok
    2. make sure you use outbound asynchronous message interface (for mail)
    3. make sure you check quality of service to Exacly once

  • Reset the HTTP response code in OSB for proxy service

    Hi,
I created a HTTP proxy service in ALSB with any XML message option. There are some business scnearios for which i need to send a custom error message in the HTTP body. I am replacing the $body variable with the error message and sending reply with success. As i am using reply with success it sends a HTTP response status code as 200 Ok.
However based on different error conditions i want to send appropraite http response code. How can this be achieved?

I would like to share the solution so that it would be useful to all the users of the forum.
There is a http:http-response-code element in the $inbound variable which is optional element. You need to insert this element to the $inbound using the insert action. Here is the extract of the code:
Insert [<http:http-response-code>401</http:http-response-code>] [ as last child of ] [./con:transport/con:response] in [inbound]
Please note namespace con belongs to "http://www.bea.com/wli/sb/context".

  • EDI Error Supressing

We have a need to generate 997 Functional Ack for 856 inbound with AK5 status as E (Accepted with Error) instead of R (Rejected) for some data Error codes in (ST & SE segments only ) . To make this work ,we modified the SeverityConfig.xml file for EDI & included those error code , modified severity to Warning instead of Normal. This has resulted 997 with E for such error codes . Is there any other way when B2B will generate 997 with E ?
Also is it possible to limit the severity for the error code to only inbound 856 & not outbound 856? I can limit it to 856 but it will result for both inbound & outbound.
    Thanks in advance.

Is there any other way when B2B will generate 997 with E ? No. There is no other way. You are following the correct approach.
Also is it possible to limit the severity for the error code to only inbound 856 & not outbound 856?No, not as of now but it's a good use case so please log an enhancement request with support and development team may like to implement this enhancement in future B2B release.

    Hi
I am working on XI7.0. In transaction SXMB_MONI, once I select individual message, it takes you to next screen where we can see details of each processing in sequence. We normally suppose to see on left hand side with following details in sequence
    XML Message(Top element of Hierarchy)
    Inbound message
    Receiver Grouping
    Request Message mapping
    Technical Routing
    Call Adapter
    Response
but, we are not getting all steps instead I am getting only few as follows
    XML Message(Top element of Hierarchy)
    Inbound message
    Receiver Grouping
    Response
Is there any setting required to get missing ones. The reason to post this message is, with this details I am not able to see mapping process and how this has been translated from source message to destination message.
    Appreciated your reply.

    HI,
Is this is the situation in all the scenarios ? For some scenarios like Java proxy, you are not able to see everything ( as I remember long back)
Check the trace level also once-
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/05/10/xi-i-cannot-see-some-of-my-messages-in-the-sxmbmoni
Also check in Message Monitoring i.e RWB->message Monitoring. Are you able to see the mapped data etc over there
