TDMS4HCM: Struggling at step "confirm definitions"

Hi all
I'm trying to implement TDMS4HCM. All the systems have the same patch level, the recommended sap-notes have been implemented. The selected TDMS template is "ERP Initial Package for HCM Personnel Development (PD & PA)"
I'm struggling at the point "confirm definitions" at "transfer selection criteria
The error description is:
Line: -
Execute the "Confirm" function of the last activity
Message no. CNV_TDMS_HCM100
Diagnosis
To progress to the next transfer phase you must execute the confirm function in the activity to define the selection criteria. You have either not carried out this confirmation, or have re-saved the selection criteria after confirmation.
Procedure
Return to the activity to define the selection criteria and use the confirm function. If there are any selection criteria errors then you must correct them before being able to progress.
Line: -
I found no possibility any confirm function for any of the selected steps in the process tree. I even started a new package without selecting any of the optional steps, mandatory data selection steps are also not available.
Someone has an idea what has to be done to proceed without any errors?
Thanks a lot
Adrian

  • TO 2-step confirmation using either L_TO_CONFIRM or L_TO_CONFIRM_SU

    Hi,
I've created a TO using the L_TO_CREATE_MOVE_SU function module. I then need to confirm the TO but through a 2-step confirmation. I've both the L_TO_CONFIRM_SU and L_TO_CONFIRM function modules but have only got errors.
Parameters used for these function modules are as below :
    L_TO_CONFIRM_SU
    Exporting I_LENUM = <storage unit number>
                   I_QUKNZ = '1'
    Tables     T_LTAP_CONF = <TO items taken from LTAP>
Error returned - Warehouse number  does not exist (new selection required)
    L_TO_CONFIRM
    Exporting I_LGNUM = <warehouse number>
                   I_TANUM = <TO  created from the L_TO_CREATE_MOVE_SU FM above>
                   I_QUKNZ = '1'
    Tables     T_LTAP_CONF = <TO items taken from LTAP>
Error returned - Movement type 000 is not allowed (check your entry)
With both these FMs, I've also tried populating the T_LTAP_CONF_HU tables but the same errors were returned. Can anyone please help with some example on how to use these function modules properly?
Note : The purpose of these function modules is to carry out the functions in transaction LT13 (firstly to pick, and then to transfer)
    Thanks and regards,
    Adeline.

    Hi Maen,
    Thanks for your reply.
Firstly, I did try all sorts of combinations, especially with the T_LTAP_CONF and T_LTAP_CONF_HU tables in both the function modules, so yes, I did more than enough trial and error but which still returned the same results.
Now, to answer your guesses :
    1. Nope, I did not enter a wrong warehouse number. If you look at L_TO_CONFIRM_SU, you can see that there are no import parameters for warehouse, and warehouse also does not exist within the T_LTAP_CONF nor T_LTAP_CONF_HU tables, so I definitely did not enter a wrong warehouse number by mistake.
    2. The TO was created with movement type 999 and again, if you look at L_TO_CONFIRM, there isn't an import parameter which takes in movement type nor does this exist in the T_LTAP_CONF nor the T_LTAP_CONF_HU tables which I've also used.
Can anyone else provide an insight into this?
    Thanks and regards,
    Adeline.

  • Two step confirmation with RF device (Mobile Data Entry) - 1st step only

    Hello
I want to implement the following scenario:
    - WM transfer orders are created, relevant for two step confirmation;
    - a user working with RF device confirms the 1st step - picking;
    - then the materials are transported physically to another building (the same warehouse number);
    - another user working with RF device confirms the 2nd step - putaway.
For confirming the 1st step I tried to use standard transaction LM07. Confirmation of the 1st step is working fine but right after that a screen for confirming the 2nd step is displayed to the user. I would like this transaction to finish just after confirming the 1st step and not to proceed with the 2nd step immediately - because the confirmation of the 2nd step should be done by another user (with some other transaction).
What is more: if you exit the transaction manually after confirming the 1st step the system saves the TO number (in table LRF_WKQU) and in some circumstances triggers the screen for confirming the 2nd step even if you do not run LM07 - this is so called "recovery" function which is a nuisance in my case.
So my question is: is there a way to customize LM07 so that it finished processing automatically right after confirming the 1st step for a two step confirmation TO ? (and without storing data for "recovery" function). Or maybe some other mobile-data-entry transaction should be used for that ?

    Hi Vlad,
One more information, which i would like to communicate on this issue.
We have raised OSS message to SAP on this issue. They have replied back that, on screen 1302, we have some custom code which is interfering with the system behavior.
As of now, we have analyzed at our end, and we found that, the enhancement at screen 1302 is restricted for the functionality, and in theory, this enhancement should not be effecting at all the system behavior.
SAP has suggested to test the scenario , without any enhancement on screen 1302.
Still we are in discussion with SAP, and try to find out the resolution.
Can you also check in your system, if you have any enhancement on screen 1302 ? And if yes, does it interfering with the stander SAP codes.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Raj.

  • Two step confirmation for warehouse tasks in EWM

    Hello everybody,
I am working on an internal prototyp to evaluate SAP EWM. Therefore it is essential that we use "two step confirmation" for warehouse tasks. Step one: confirm pick up of a pallet; Step two: confirm transportation of a pallet. Like it is used in SAP WM (Parameter I_QUKNZ in function module L_TO_CONFIRM and in standard SAP).
I haven't found anything similar to that in EWM so far. I searched in the official EWM SAP Press book and also in google. But right no I don't have any idea.
Do you guys have any hints on how to achieve two step confirmation somehow?
    Many thanks in advance!
    Stef

    Hi Jürgen.
Thanks for your input! You are right, it works with RF!
But it works kind of strange. Deleting source storage bin, creating another position etc.
I will have a look how to adapt this.
    Thanks!

  • Two step confirmation in Warehouse

    Hi All,
Two step confirmation (We can use this indicator to define whether confirmation of the withdrawal of materials from a storage bin and arrival of materials at the target storage bin is allowed in the warehouse in two steps) indicator has been set for my warehouse.
As the two step confirmation is becoming heavy for the warehouse team, that need to be changed as a single step confirmation.
Will there be any impact on open TOs if i change this from two step to single step confirmation. Will there be any other impacts on warehouse environment.
    Rgds
    Raul

My suspicion would be that the configuration settings are referenced during TO creation and that TOs are then 'locked' with these settings.  So the impact would not be significant, all existing TOs, just created or part processed would need to be completed using 2-step and that new ones would be single step.
Why not just trial it in your development system. Possibly all TOs just become single confirmation and the pick confirmation for existing TOs, where that has happened, becomes irrelevant.
    Regards,
    Nick

  • Two Step Confirmation Transfer Order with Radiofrquency

    Friends & Gurus.
Can I use 2 step confirmation with RF? Which transaction should I use? I can do it with regular SAP transactions, but as soon as I do it with RF transactions both Pick and Transfer are confirmed.
    Thanks.
    Solved, yes you can.

  • WM - Two step confirmation cancellation

    Hi Gurus,
I am using the two step confirmation for transfer order in one of my business process (no 2 step picking).
This is a necessary requirement from my client, but I have a little issue with the cancellation. Once the first step is confirmed, all the cancellation transactions issue the error message #L3355.
Physically, the forklift driver should be able to confirm the first step of picking, and also to cancel this first step. However, there seems not to be a standard transaction to cover this "normal" requirement.
Does anyone has an idea on how this process could be carried out in the system ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Remi

If you check the code in...
    include: ML03TF90_STORNO_PRUEFEN
    form: STORNO_PRUEFEN
...you will see that this is the standard behaviour of the system. SAP online help also says:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/c6/f83e744afa11d182b90000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
If a transfer order has already been confirmed, the only way to change a goods movement to restore the original stock situation is to create a new transfer order.
So, in standard system you have to create a new TO or you have to go to development / modification of standard code.

  • TRM two step confirmation

    Hi
I am new to TRM and have run into the following problem.
I have configured the Site and the WH and am performing System guided Putaway (PTWY_SG). As required in WM for the source and destination storage type i have maintained separate confirmation.
After the Transfer order is created, as expected it shows up in the TRM monitor. From the monitor i have created the task for the TO. Once i login via the RF device the task shows up and i execute force confirmation for the same.
Now the situation is that the TO is confirmed partially (the pick step  of the 2 step confirmation is processed but the putaway step is not performed). However as i login i cannot see any other task to execute the second step.
If i check the TRM monitor there is only the task which i have forced confirmed. Now how to execute the second step so that the TO is fully confirmed.
Can some one help me with the std process to go ahead with the same.
    Sandeepan

    Hi Sandeepan,
Can you please check the two settings in tcode OMLX (Path:IMG u2192 Logistics Execution u2192 Warehouse Management u2192 Activities u2192Confirmation) The first of these is the requirement to confirm the pick and placement of a transfer order separately and the second is the requirement to confirm placement and removal of stock into and out of a storage type. For the second setting, by default, the requirement to confirm is switched off in interim storage types.
Other than above setting you need to check which mode is considered to find the rout till destination bin of the TO.
    Hope this will help.

  • TO two step confirmation - return transfers

    Hello,
I have set two step confirmation for OT and everything seems ok. I used LT1D for the picking confirmation and LT1E for positioning confirmation. The problems is when in the OT there is a return transfer to a storage type. For example
200 picked from strorage type A
100 positioned in storage type B
100 positioned in storage type R
R is the return storage type (set in customizing for the A storage type in picking strategy section)
In this case the two step confirmation doesn't work. SAP gives the message that two step confirmation is not allowed. I can only confirm with LT12 that is in a single step.
I haven't found any SAP notes for this topic, can someone help me please?
    Thank you very much.

  • LT45 (Picking Progress) and Two Step Confirmation

    Dear all,
I have Two Step confirmation in place for one WM movement type and I am happy with it.
We also use Multiple Processing for Deliveries. As a result, the Groups created by this process are used to monitor the Picking Progress in LT45
In LT22 or LT24 there is clear distinction between Open TO's, Confirmed TO's and half Conirmed TO's (yellow triangle.
Much to my disappointment I cannot see such a distinction in LT45.
Is there a way or another Monitor available that does show me the different statusses? A yellow bar if the group is half confirmed is too much to ask, but an alternative would be nice.
    Thanks!
    Sandeep

    Ananthram,
    Thanks for reading my Question.
I am talking about TO's that use Two-step Confirmation. In LT22 / LT24 they show as Yellow Triangle, as you know this means half confirmed.
As you know in LL01 they don't show as yellow but as red, just like in LT45. So this is very misleading.
Can you tell me a place where I can clearly monitor my Picking Progress and see a distinction between Green, Yellow and Red
    (Confirmed, Half confirmed, Open)
Thanks again for taking the time.

  • LE-TRM: Two-step confirmation

    Dear all,
Could you please provide a link to a SAP documentation which stipulates that Two-step confirmation settings (SPRO > Logistics Execution > Warehouse Management > Activities > Confirmation > Confirmation control for Warehouse number / Storage type / Movement type) are mandatory in order to have TRM tasks created?
    Thx a lot in advance

  • Two step confirmation

    Hi All
Do we have any thing like two step confirmation in Warehouse Management.
    Thanking you
    With Rgds
    Vinod

Yes it's a terminology where the stock removal and putaway requires two separate confirmation. You can have a look in T-code OMLX and click on Mvt Type button for more info.

  • Confirming TO with 2-step confirmation using L_TO_CONFIRM

I have been using function module L_TO_CONFIRM in several programs with good results, but now I have a scenario where 2-step confirmation is enabled, which means that the TO is confirmed in two steps (with manual confirmation using LT12 you first confirm the "pick" and then in a second confirmation the "transfer").
I have not found a way to do this with L_TO_CONFIRM. The documentation (long text for structure LTAP_CONF) talks about many variants, and even mentions 2-step confirmations in connection with TO splitting, but it never explains how to actually perform the 2-step confirmation. Anyone that has any experience with this? Useful answers will of course be rewarded.
    /Leif

I am interested in configuring the 2-step confirmation, but seem to be missing something in config.  Can you give me the required config items for this functionality?  Thanks.

  • TO 2 steps confirmation BAPI.

    Hi everybody,
I'm trying to perform a 2 steps confirmation of a TO with the FM L_TO_CONFIRM, but I don't find anything in the FM, where I can specify that is a 2 steps confirmation (first pick and then transfer). Do you know how can I do that? or Do you know another FM or BAPI to do that?
    Regards.

Exists a parameter called I_QUKNZ where we can especify if the confirmation is two steps or one step.
