Hi,
Please anybody knows how the TDS base amount field
is diplayed in TDS report i.e. tds amount, surcharge, edcess
and from which field it should be picked from TDS tables?

In TDS certificate my invoice amount is getting as double of posted invoice amount, However TDS calculation and amount
completely perfect in certificate .

We have done changes in ABAP program. Earlier we had using Z for same we swithced over to standard program
then made changes standard.
Our ABAPer added or changed the user exit function in it.

F-48 TDS on Base Amount Excluding Service Tax+Edu Cess+H.ecess (194J)
Hi Expert,
We want at the time Advance Payment against PO. thru T.Code F-48, when i go to give the amount after Deduct TDS 10% on Professional System calculate all three Item i.e Service Tax 10%, Educational Cess 2% on Service Tax, and Secondary & Higher secondary Cess 1% .
The total Amount Rs. 1826/- Including Three Component Base amount Rs.1625/-.
We want system Calculate on Base Amount i.e 1625 of 10% = 162.50, but system calculate on Gross total i.e Rs.1826 and Tax 182.60.
Kindly Help me to simulate the Transaction.

Select radio button as Net amount instead of gross amount in mentioned customization.
SPRO > Financial accouting New > Withholding tax > Extended withholdign tax > Calcualtion > Withholding tax type > Define withholding tax type for invoice. Double click on relavent TDS type & change gross as net and check impact,which we are using since notification annouced by Income tax department.

TDS cerfitcte not splitting tax amount and base amount showing wrong

1.I am using 3 different tax code for basic ecess and secess . System caculating correct amount and posting the entries.
but in the certificate its not showing the amount with split . Its showing total amount of TDS.
2. In tds certificate in the column total amount credited its showing 3 times of base amount.
Please suggest me , how to over come with these issues.

SAP recommends a series of tables to be maintained, if you are configuring Witholding Tax.
Please find below the reply from SAP on tables to be maintained.
If you have separate tax codes for Surcharges, J_1IEWT_SURC table
should be maintained, by setting the checkbox checked, for the company
code. Those tax codes should be available the J_1IEWTSURC table
(use SM30 to maintain these values)
2. If you have a combined tax code for surcharges, then the tax rates
should be maintained in J_1IEWT_SURC1 table.
Make sure that tax codes available in J_1IEWT_SURC1 table are not
available in J_1IEWTSURC table and vice-versa.
3. If you are using separate tax codes for Education cess, those tax
codes should be maintained in the J_1IEWTECESS table and 'X' should be
maintained for the company code in J_1IEWT_ECFLAG table.
4. If you are using combined tax codes for Education cess, tax rates
should be maintained in J_1IEWT_ECESS1 table.
Make sure that the tax codes available in J_1IEWT_ECESS1 table are not
maintained in J_1IEWTECESS table and vice-versa.
Maintain these tables and check whether you get the correct figures in your TDS certificate.

Hi Experts,
I have a received Professional Invoice of Rs. 1826/-
Since February 2014 slab rate has been changed after Budget , scenarios is earlier on Base amount like Rs. 1625 after that supplier charge 12, 2 and 1% they charge, it comes 1826/-G.total. to pay to Vendor.
But Section 194J 10% deduct on Base amount i.e 1625/- but system pic on G.total 1826 n calculate on that i.e Rs. 182.60/-
Now we want system calculate on Base Amount.
Kindly help me where we have to change the settings for the same.

Error:withholding tax base amount exceeds the amount of customer/vendor lin
Dear Team,
I am encountering an issue while doing f-48.I am providing you brief explanation below:
There are two different down payment request has been made against two difference P.Ou2019s.
1. Down payment amount for P.O No. 3600011383 is Rs. 581235/- and
2. Another Down Payment for P.O No. 3600011395 is Rs. 1162470/-
Now we want to deduct the TDS against Sl No. 1 is Rs. 21,50,570 ( i.e., Rs. 581235+1569335 (P.O No. 3600011383
Simply, TDS Deduction are as follows :
Sl No. 1 Withholding Base amount should be 2150570/- instead of 581235/- and
SL No. 2 Withholding Base amount should be Rs. 1162470/-.

The amount is mentioned as the base amount in PO.At the time of Downpayment they want to change the base amount instead of 581235 the user want to give the base amount 21,50,570 the mentioned like.But system is showing the message like the above .Plz let me know.

Extended Withholding Tax ( Minimum/maximum Base Amount ) - with accumulati
We are facing problem in posting of vendor Invoice. Actually we have implemented Minimum base amount ( Rs. 75000/- ) at withholding tax type level and accumulation at per year in withholding tax type A1 ( for testing purpose ) and assign the same to a vendor. We have booked some invoices up to RS. 75000/- system working fine, no WHT is deducted. But now we have received a another Invoice Rs. 5000/- and at the time of booking of invoice system giving an error message
I have changed the error message to warning but itu2019s again showing the same error message.
Actually the problem is system calculate the WHT from the beginning of the year to till date and the amount of Vendor invoice is less the than the amount of WHT but itu2019s legal requirement and we have to post the financial entry as mentioned below
Fictitious figures
Vendor Account Dr. Rs, 1500.00 ( Debit instead of credit )
Expense Account Dr. Rs. 5000.00 ( Actual exp. Of Invoice )
WHT Payable Account Cr. Rs. 6500.00 ( Total WHT from the beginning

Dear Customer,
We understand your requirement. But the standard SAP system does not support a scenario where an invoice amount in lower than the tax amount.
This is not a localization specific requirement. The accumulation logic is a generic system behaviour and all countries use it. We cannot make any change in the standard in this regard and change the current system behaviour.
Option to handle this in the system
The only way this can be handled in the system is once the accumulation limit has been reached, use a separate tax type tax code with out accumulations.
Though this is not the ideal solution, this is the best possible solution for your requirement.
Accumulation is not localized for India and the standard solution vailable for all the countries is used by Indian customers too.
SAP is currently not looking at any enhancements to this feature.
Other than the option mentioned above, there is no other way of handling this in the system.

If any one have any otehr solution please inform us.This cannot be possible for two reasons.
1. If you are not able to recover the amount from the Vendor, you'll have to bear it yourself which is a loss to the company.
2. Even if such a process is provided, you cannot alter the previous invoices and your EWT amount does not correspond to the invoice you account for. SAP works in an assumption that Tax will be calculated as a % of base price and cannot exceed it.
The only way to mitigate this is to decide whether a Vendor would require this exemption to be declared based on past experience and past amount of transactions in the beginning itself. If it is unlikely, better do not declare the accumulation limit for them. This will save you from incurring loss and reducing the risk for the company. Start deducting right from the beginning.
If you are not sure, instead of giving accumulation, you can declare exemption upto 75000. In this case, SAP cannot check whether the Vendor has crossed the limit or not. You'll have to manually check and pass a Debit note to that extent when he exceeds the limit. Again, this does not evade the risk of loss for the company. Also, you cannot do TDS post processing for this amount (like TDS Remittance challan, TDS Certificate etc).
So, in my opinion, try and decide if the Vendor would require accumulation right in the beginning itself. Even if not able to decide, you can still deduct the tax and issue a TDS certificate, which the Vendor can claim refund based on his transactions with you from the Income Tax in case he does not exceed the limit. This will limit the risk of loss for the company.

Excise base amount for Import PO in MIGO
Dear All,
I have create the Import Po and maintain all conditions i.e.JCDB,JCV1,JECV,J1CV,JEDB,JSDB,JADC and assign the custom vendor to conditions and make the custom payment through MIRO for planned delivery cost.
Then while doing the MIGO with referance to PO and commercial invoice,all duties are captyring correctly but excise base amount is showing base amount plus basic custom duty.Please give the solution is any setting missing in costomizing.
And in MIGO item screen BED %(CVD%) is not showing but AED,ECSS,SECESS is showing correctly.
Please give solution urgently.

TOTAL IMPORT CONFIGURATION AND CYCLE
in ur pricing u have to create following
JCDB IN: Basic Custom Duty
JCV1 IN : CVD
JECV IN : Ed Cess on CVD
J1CV IN : H&SECess on CVD
JEDB IN : Ed Cess on BCD
JSDB IN : H&SECess on BCD
JADC Additional Duty of Custom
JCV1, JECV, J1CV and JADC will go to Excise MODVAT Accounts and JCDB, JEDB and JSDB will get loaded on inventory.
In M/06, for all above conditions, keep following controls;
Cond. class A (Discount or surcharge) Plus/minus A (Positive)
Calculat.type A (Percentage)
Cond.category B (Delivery costs)
Activate "Currency Conversion" and "Accrual"
Now for setoff
maintain the following conditions in excise default settings.
JCV1, JECV, JADC

6.Assign the schema to respective import vendor in purchasing view of VMR.

Save the PO.
8. MIRO --Capture Bill Of Entry.(Commercial Invoice No.,).Customs clearing first .Here CVD will b converted to BED.

Excise Base amount not updated in J_1iexcdtl table -reg
Dear Gurus,
We have used SAP Ecc 5.0 Patch level 21. In patch level 20, SAP admit without delivery , can do commercial billing and excise billing in foreground. After batch update SAP not support excise invoice creation in foreground. It support only background. We have 2 senario. 1 is capex sales . ie. without material stock we have raise the comm.billing and excise billing. 2 is supplimentary billing. both the senario now getting effected because of no delivery. Asper SAP advise we have setting for background process excise invoice creation. Excise invoice created. but excise base amount not updated in j_1iexcdtl table. Using J_1I7_USEREXIT_CALC_EXC_BASE user exit we are trying to update the same. For single material it works fine. But more than one material for the first material's base amount is updated in all materials. for your reference i have mentioned the codding . SAP advise it is possible to update excise base amount. But not possible to do. pl.adivse if any correct or guide to solve it.

Kindly ensure that in your SD Pricing procedure the condition type which
has the Assesable value has been defined with Condition category 'H'
through the transaction V/06, it is also expected to be non statistical
in your pricing procedure. If it is statistical then refer the SAP
note 1003634 which has the user exit J_1I7_USEREXIT_CALC_EXC_BASE. This
user exit has the KON strcuture of your billing, you can derevive the
base value and pass it to the parameter EXCITM_BASE so that the excise
base can be updated during billing. This has to implemented through
SE37 transaction.
Please note that the old documents can not be resolved with the above
solution, you will have to write your own ABAP code and update the base
price in the table J_1iexcdtl for the excise invoice created when you
transfer the goods from factory.

Earlier Liable to AT1 is ticked but not Indicator NCCD,I have checked after ticking the NCCD as well....
In my pricing procedure i dont have the NCCD condition .....as its not required.
In classify consditiontypes: I have maintained PR00 condition type as well along with Excise condition types...Do i need to maintain this PR00 anywhere else
or
Is there anything I need to do with the assesable value.......if so how should be the entry like in the pricing procedure?

Unable to Change Withholding Tax Base Amount while creating Service AP Invoice through DI API?
Dear All,
I am trying to create Service AP Invoice through DI API.
If I post the document without changing SAPPurchaseInvoice.WithholdingTaxData.TaxableAmount the dount ocument is created in SAP without any problem.
But if I change amount in above field then DI API throws error Unbalanced Transaction.
If I post same document in SAP with changed base amount it got posted in SAP without any Issue.
Where I am doing wrong?
please guide.

Excise Duty Base Amount in J1IEX in case of Import Purchasing
While posting Excise Invoice in case of Import Purchasing, duty values are coming from CVD, ACD, CVD Ecess & CVD SEcess. But I am not able to understand from where "Excise Duty Base Amount" is coming in J1IEX.
Can anyone throw light on this?

Change in excise base amount in J1IEX in case of import PO
Hi,
In case of import PO when we are making J1IEX ref. to MIRO number the excise base amount which is comin gin mIRO is different but all the Excise tax condition amount are coming properly.
in one case in miro.
CVD : 10% = 3950.70
Ecess = 79.00
SECESS = 39.50
Add. duty = 1743.0
according to this excise base amount should be 39507.00 but when we are capturing invoice ref. to MIRO in J1IEX excise base amount is coming aroung 20138,
can u help on this issue.

Might be , while doing delivery cost invoice verification, u have done some mistake in MIRO.
SO check the MIRO ,acconting document which has been generated during deliver cost verification.
Then do J1IEX with refer to MIRO.
Or Do it reference throu PO.
