Hi,
For the TDS Utility tool, please check the following link :
[TDS Utility Link|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/index?rid=/library/uuid/108fc2b8-fc8e-2c10-cd84-ae04ee061e24]
TDS is a major enhancement in 8.8 version. I would recommend you to check the documentation on the TDS available on the documentation resource centre.

  • I want to re-use my old airport express base station but airport utility doesn't recognise it anymore (it dates from 2005) i would like to use it to connect to my speakers only

I have an old airport express base station from 2005
I would like to have a network on it so i can put it upstairs in a room and connect my speakers to it so i can send my music (from itunes) over the airport to my speakers.
I reset it and now i want to configure but the Airport utility doesn't recognise it anymore.
Can i update the firmware? has it become useless because too old or what can i do?
I work on macbook pro with macOSX 10.9.4
Can someone give me some tips please
    thanks
    J

Please locate the model number on the side of the AirPort Express. Hard to see.....gray lettering on a white background....so you may likely need a magnifying glass and good lighting to see it.
The model number starts with a "A" followed by four numbers. If you see A1084 or A1088, unfortunately AirPort Utility 6.x in Mavericks OS X (10.9.4) does not support these older models. However, you can still administer these models if you have a Mac.....or can borrow one for a few minutes....using Leopard (10.5.x) or Snow Leopard (10.6.x), or a PC with AirPort Utility installed on the device.

  • SSRS Reports migration from 2005 to 2008R2

    Hi ..
I have couple of questions.. looking for answers
Am new to report migration. We have 1000+ of reports in 2005 which we need to migrate to 2008R2. After googling theweb i got to know that we have an third party utility RSScripter which is used to move the reports from 2005 to 2008.
    Question 1:
By using the above tool i was able to migrate the reports from 2005 to 2008. However, i am not able to redeploy the reports to sub folder in 2008..
Example  i have some reports in 2005 at Dev_reports\Reports\.. when i want to copy these reports to Dev_reports\Reports folder they are not moved to sub folder Reports on destination server, but rather they are copied to root folder. Is there any why
that i can copy the reports to particular folder in destination server.
    Question 2:
When moved the reports from 2005 to 2008 are all the reports are automatically upgraded and copied to new server(2008)? or we need to explicitly open each and every report in 2008 and deploy to the new report server(2008)?
And my third requirement is to create couple(2) solution for the above said reports and check in them to TFS as a reporting project.
one report project with all the reports from 2005 and another with all reports from 2008.
Appreciate your responses at the earliest. As this is on top priority.. Thanks in Advance
    Sri

    Hi Sri,
Per my understanding that you are using the RSScripter to move the reports from SSRS 2005 from SSRS 2008 R2, now your first problem is you don't know how to move the reports from the sub folder of 2005 to an specify folder on SSRS 2008 R2, right?
I have tested on my locak enviroment and can reproduce the issue, by default, when you execute the .cmd file the report will move to the new server's root folder, for example, you have an rdl report in SSRS 2005 which path is "/Test/report1.rdl"
, when you move to the SSRS 2008 R2 using the tool it will move to the path "home/Test/report1.rdl".
If you want to move this rdl to the specify folder "home/Test0323/Test/Report1.rdl" you should do the action as below:
Create the specify folder on the SSRS 2005 but not SSRS 2008 R2, move the subfolder and the rdl in it "/Test/report1.rdl" to the specify folder
find and check the "/Test0323/Test/Report1.rdl" in the RSScripter:
the Output will have the path like "Test0323/Test/Report1.rdl",after move to the SSRS 2008 R2, it will also create the path like "/Test0323/Test/Report1.rdl"

For the second question, Generally, reports are not upgraded when you upload a report definition file directly to the report server or SharePoint site. The report is automatically upgraded the first time it is viewed, but the stored report definition file
remains unchanged. Upgrading a report definition in SQL Server Data Tools is the only way to upgrade the .rdl file.

  • TDS Utility Check Data Error

    Hi,
I'm using TDS Upgrade Utility Tool to check the excel template which i was filled. When I click check data Button. Its telling the following error: Cannot Perform '=' Operation on System.Double and System.String.  and There was error no log created. Could any knows in which case this will occur.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sudhir B.

    Hi,
The error message obtianed by you tells that in the TDS excel sheet somewhere a field is not in expected format.
For a numeric field, you might have entered aphanumeric input.
example : In the sheet "withholding tax codes", in the field section, you have mentioned entire section say "194C"
But you have to actually write absolute id from the sheet "sections".
Make sure that your sheets are in correct and guidelines for every field mentioned in the TDS Utility help is taken into consideration.

  • I have an ancient laptop (from 2005) that has my entire music library. This laptop barely works and some keys don't type anymore. How can I get all this music transferred to another computer, or available to me on the cloud?

I have an ancient laptop (from 2005) that has my entire music library. This laptop barely works and some keys don't type anymore. How can I get all this music transferred to another computer, or available to me on the cloud?

    No... do not move programs.
    About the iTunes library files
Your iTunes library files track the media you add to iTunes, how you've organized it, and other information such as playlists. By default, these two files are in your iTunes folder:
    Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music/iTunes/
    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
    Windows Vista: C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\
    Windows 7: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\
    Windows 8: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\

  • Is there a way to keep Deployment Utility from modifying sequence file paths?

While the Deployment Utility appears to be a great tool, it does some things that I'd rather it didn't. One is that it modifies all paths in sequence that it is including from Absolute to Relative. While this is a nice feature for many reasons, it is a show-stopper for our uses. This is because as part of our distribution process, we also use a checksum routine to verify that the sequence files being run by the operators on the Test Stations we deploy to are running the correct (unmodified) version of the test software. By using Absolute paths, we can detect and prevent accidental editing/changing of the sequences or paths that we have deployed, but if we have to use relative paths that is something that we could work with also.
So my questions are: 1. Can this path update 'feature' be disabled? and 2. If not, then will pre-setting all paths in a sequence cause the deployment utility to only copy the file and not update it (thus changing it's checksum)?
I'm going to test the latter when I have time, and if there are any other suggestions that might be useful, I'm love to hear them.
    Thanks,
    -Jack

    Rick,
In my experimentation to see if using relative paths, I was able to prove that a sequence that uses them will not be updated - with one caveat; if the path that is referenced by the sequence is not itself in a sub-directory, i.e.; it's in a different branch of the relative directory structure with respect to the Target (such as the TestStand directory), then the sequence file is always updated and re-saved. An example is that we have a sequence in the Tools directory that calls a DLL in the FrontEnd directory of the Components\User path. This re-saving causes a checksum change and screws up our verification mechanism.
It is unfortunate that I cannot prevent the deployment utility from modifying sequence files - Since we control the entire Test environment, including the location that software gets installed to - Test Station custodians can't go installing the software in a different location, or worse, multiple locations, so we don't have the issue to worry about.
Because of this 'better' method, we now have to re-evaluate how to control the installed version of the software, or use a different installer, such as CVI, which while it has been working for us, has it 's own issues that we're trying to get away from. I'm glad that I am finding out about this now before I've locked down the sequences so that I can probably move the features in the Tools to the Frontend Callback sequence.
It's almost always the case thought that one persons forced enhancement is another's 'feature' or worse 'bug'.
Thanks for confirming the behavior on the Deployment utility for me.

  • After SN install can't launch Disk Utility from external drive

I recently upgraded 10.5.9 to SN on my white Macbook. First I used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the old drive onto the replacement drive in an external enclosure. Then I swapped drives so that the new drive is now the internal drive and the old drive is in the enclosure. I then upgraded the OS on the internal drive via SN installer on DVD.
Now when I start from the external drive in OS X 10.5.9 and try to launch Disk Utility from this drive I get a weird error message that "Disk Utility can't be launched because it's incompatible with this architecture." The only things I can think of is that Snow Leopard installs something that globally effects all perhipherals (like new disk drivers?), or that there is something in the enclosure's USB bridge which is causing this, or that installing Snow Leopard breaks the PRAM for older versions of OS X. Tech support for the enclosure vendor tells me there is nothing in the enclosure's USB that would cause this. Any insights into what's happening appreciated.

Thanks for response. Ah, that's it. I was trying to launch it from the applications folder I had dragged to the dock, which was done while running Snow Leopard. That's why (duh!) all the application icons were slashed out. : |

  • I have a ipod mini from 2005, it will only work on my charger.  I did get a new ipod 4touch, how do i get the music to the new one if i don't know the password of the mini.  My ex-husband set it up for me, i not aboout to call and ask for the password.

I have a ipod mini from 2005,  it will only work on my charger.  I did get a new i pod touch 4, how do i get the music from the old mini to the new touch.  I have never put any music on it myself, my ex-husband did it all and has the password.  I never new it.  I'm sure not about to call him and I don't think he'd give it to me anyway.  Please help!!!

I don't think the password will matter, because you can't use anything on the iPod or in iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store).  However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
The simple software "lock" used on iPods should not prevent you from off-loading the song files.  Once the song files are on your computer, you can add them to your iTunes library.  Then, you can do a Restore on the iPod to give it a fresh start and sync it (and the iPod touch) as desired.
NOTE:  For songs purchased by you from the iTunes Store, you can also re-download them to your computer at no cost, from the iTunes Store Purchased screen.  The link to Purchased is on the iTunes Store Home screen, under QUICK LINKS.

  • My dad has an imac G5 from 2005, and I'm wondering if we can bring it to the Apple store and replace it with one of the newer models. How much would the G5 be worth and how much money would we have to put on top of it to buy the newer model?

How much is the G5 worth? The one from 2005.

The Apple Store will offer to recycle it for free, you are better off selling it on ebay or elsewhere, I have seen decent looking ones go from $80-$250 here in Australia.
You are looking at $1000 + to get a new one

  • Using the Import utility from other users and going to a different schema

I has a user today with rights
Insert into XXXX.TABLE values(); Works just fine for another schema's table which has select, insert, update, delete.
We tried to utiile the import utility from OTHER USERS
    Insert failed ORA-00942
Do you want ot ignore all errors
Even though we have rights to the schema under OTHER USERS.
When connected as the owner it works fine.

I've be trying to find a work-around to this issue & found this old post -- I'm having the same problem.
    I'm using Oracle 11g and SD 2.1.1.64.
I have user A with a table that grants select, insert, update, and delete privs to user B. Logging into user B I, of course, can do inserts, deletes, etc. on the the table in user A's schema.
When I use the import data feature to load data from a CSV file I can't get it to work while logged into user B. It does work fine if logged into user A. It looks like the issue may be that it doesn't put the schema prefix of "A." on the insert statements.
Has anyone found a way to get around this issue yet?

  • Access Airport Utility from Status Bar?

Hello - is there any clever way to enable access of "Airport Utility" from the WIFI Icon in my status bar (top right toolbar)?
The WIFI icon has option "open network preferences" but nothing to open Airport Utility.
If I hold the option and click the WIFI Icon, I get WIFI diagnostics, but no Airport Utility.
i would really like to remove Airport Utitlity from my dock but access with 1 click.
    thankyou

    Hi there LaPastenague
I have the Monitor Airport setting already as you kindly shown me. Plus the other 2 checkboxes checked. Thankyou.
LaPastenague - you likely help heaps of people - but its me again, I am opening and closing Airport Utilty alot to check connectivity as I am still experiencing the slow web page loads. I did the Iv6 link-only as you last helped me. I am the person in bridge-mode on the Time Capcule.
I have also noticed I am seeing "noresult " in my Finder/Path Finder window when I search on my HD or 2TB Time Capscule I use as an external drive.  Then the results appear. So something is not right.
What i have been doing more regularly to help with my "slow page load problem", is turning off the ISP's wireless router and then wait 10min and back on. This brings town TC as its bridged.
What I have noticed, when I open up Airport Utility first, it says Internet is "disconnected". But in my WIFI Icon it shows all good. Then after a while it shows Internet connected.
    when I open initially
    then after a while:
What I have read, is perhaps I should remove the 4 DNS settings and back to one. The ISP gave me the 4 DSN settings and asked me to put them in, in attempt to improve slow page load speed.

  • Using Disk Utility From Recovery Partition

Is there an advantage to repairing permissions after booting into Recovery disk? (Hold Option key as restart) I realize that Repair disk will be available if needed & it is not available when using Disk Utility from Mac HD partition.

    Thanks!
I thought that was the case but I had read multiple accounts of people with slow Macs after upgrading to Mavericks, running repair disk permissions from recovery disk to fix the problem.   I wondered why not just run repair permissions w/o restarting into recovery disk. Then they can also run verify disk, if they wish & only if there is a problem with the disk would they need to boot to recovery disk in order to run repair disk.

  • Can a "missed payment" comment from 2005 be removed?

US Bank has one of my accounts from 2005 listed on my credit report as "5 late payments." The account has been paid and closed years ago, is there anything I can do about it?

FCRA 605(a) is a comprehensive statute that applies to any adverse item of information reported to your credit file, and requries its exclusion after the prescribed period. Various subsections of section 605(a) list specific adverse items of information and their specifici exclusion periods.Any other adverse item of information that is not explicitly listed in another subsection falls under the catch-all provision of subsection 605(a)(5), whic reads:  "Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions or crimes, which antedates the report by more than seven years." Regardless of whether it is reported as a speciifc monthly delinquency or a comment that asserts a delinquency, it must become excluded not later than 7 years from the date of occurence of the delinquency. Exclusion under section 605(a) is the responsibility of the CRA, not the creditor, so your recourse is to file a complaint with the CRA of their continued showing of that adverse iinformation in your credit report beyond the exclusion period set forth in subsection 605(a)(5).  With due deference to the CRA, it is understandable how they might miss a exclusion of only a comment.  Once brought to their attention, it is clearly must be excluded.
