Team Members Adobe ID's?

I just converted my acct from individual to team. I sent invites to all. The Adobe ID fir the admin acct does not allow them access. Do they need individual ID's ?if so how can I create them...

    First let me make it clear my iMac is running native OS X 10.8.5 and all Adobe Creative Cloud Apps are install on the iMac running natively in the OS X system environment. I only have Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac installed to run Microsoft Office software in Windows 7 when needed (because PowerPoint for Mac sucks big time compared to the PC version)… absolutely no Adobe CC Apps have been installed on the Parallels virtual PC environment.
    I have been having problems with Creative Cloud Desktop not updating so I uninstalled it and tried to install the latest version from Adobe. I then get the following error:

    There seems to be a problem accessing a critical file/directory during download. For troubleshooting tips. please visit our customer support page. (Error code: 204)

    This has happened all last week. Because we have been so busy at work I waited until the weekend to contact the 24/7 chat support.
    This was going well. I was sharing my desktop with the agent who was adjusting the permissions of some folder. The problem came when he launched chrome on Parallels and not on the MAC and tried to install the PC EXE version of CC desktop. When I pointed this out to the Agent he instantly stop the screen share and stated in the chat box that virtual computers are not supported and I must find my own solution without giving me an opportunity to explain.
    Every time I tried to start the chat again I was cut-off while trying to explain that Adobe CC was running natively under a native OS X and the Virtual PC was a separate to this
    Only after my 4th attempt (having per cut an pasted my arguement into the chat box) did a get any further. The Agent refused to continue to try and fix my problem but did say the Adobe engineers are aware of the "204" error
    Has anyone else had this "204" error installing Creative Cloud Desktop or can  direct me to a solution it would be much appreciated

    Unfortunately I am still getting the 204 error
    I download the Creative Cloud Desktop App at home and brought it into work to install — which failed
    I then tried to install the same file on the only Mac in the office not on Creative Cloud and it installed with out any problems
    I then tried plugging my iMac into the same ethernet socket incase it was a problem with the ethernet socket. No luck it still had the 204 error

  • Adobe guideline on design documents when working with freelance team members or agencies

    Adobe guideline when working with freelance team members or agencies:
    should the publisher recieve a copy of the documents (Indesign etc) used to publish it's magazine?
    Our client has an ongoing discussion with a freelance designer who was hired to make editions of their interactive magazine.
    The publisher has briefed the designer on their digital magazine and the designer created the folio-files, based on their input (design, pictures, video, audio, texts, etc) and their printed magazine. The publisher is the owner of the copyrights on this material.
    The designer used the software licenses provided by the publisher, but refuses to hand over the Indesign-file after recieving full payment for his design work. Is there a Adobe guideline or 'best practice' I can consult in this matter to help resolve this discussion?

    I know this case very well and here the publisher has payed for all time spent in and the cost of DPS training. The material is copyrighted and owned by the publisher and he also owns the DPS license.
    To keep your example: this feels like the worker assembling the car wants to keep the car and be payed his hourly wage to assemble it.
    It's not an original work, that is clear to me.

  • Deploy Adobe CC to team members without email address

    I have purchased seven Adobe CC seats and have a question about deploying those seats to seven workstations. Each user does have their own workstation, however, most of them do not have their own email address. Our art department has one email address (i.e.- [email protected]). How would I deploy those seven seats to the seven workstations? Off the top of my head, I am thinking that I will just have to open a dummy email account for each workstation, but I would love a better solution, if there is one.

    Didn't come up with any official solution. What I ended up doing was just opening a couple gmail accounts, setting them to forward to my email address, then registering those to the seats that I needed to fill. Not a great solution, but it has worked so far.

  • How to share on CC with Team members and other problems

    I had a CC for Team account, then got a deal to add seats at a discount, I added 2 more. I had to change my password and give a new e-mail address to get this deal. When I log in using my New ID all my files are gone. I log in with my Old ID my files and web sites are there no team members, added my OldID to the new Teams account and made me an administrator. Now when I log in with my OldID I can see my file and team members one of them is me with a new ID and the other is a client. I want to get rid of one of me I prefer the new one but I can't I can only delete the OldID and I lose my web site and all my files. Now the only reason I did this was to let my client see the files instead of selecting one page at a time and sending a link I thought they could go to their folder and look at the pages as they are being designed and edited. But there is no method to share with other team members. I re-watch the Max video but nothing they were showing is available in my team CC account. Can someone Help me out Please?

  • File/Directory Sharing With Team Members

    Is file/directory sharing with team members going to be added or should I be using dropbox or some other utility to provide this functionality?    This would seem like a MANDATORY requirement for teams that are geographically dispersed such as mine.   Of course a versioning system on top of this would also be of great help.

  • Can't manage team members in Chrome

    Recently I can no longer manage team members in Google Chrome. If I click on the big 'X' to delete a user and reassign them, nothing happens. I have tested this on several systems and it is specific to Google Chrome. Using another browser is irritating since I don't want to be opening other browser windows and depend on Chrome heavily with all of my bookmarks and passwords saved therein. This was not always a problem, and only recently became one, so Adobe must have broken something in the page source.

  • Account Team Members and access to Open and Closed Activities

    Is there not a way to allow account team members access to view other members on the teams activities?

    If you are the owner of the pertinent Account, then for the other users on the Account Team, the Default Access Profile would be applicable, which you should change.
    For the Account record type, the access level can be kept as anything (read only, read/edit or read/edit/delete). In the related information for the Account record type, have the access levels of Completed and Open Activities as View.
    So, if you add the account team members in the Users section in the Account activities, the activities (appointments/task) would appear in each of the user’s calendars and tasks section.

  • Team members access thru Assignment rule

    When defining the Assignment Rule for Account f.e. the administrator can define the Team Members to be assigned to the account, and their access levels.
    My doubts refers to this level of access x the level of access defined thru the user role/access profile. In other words... if thru the Access Profile the user X has a Read-Only access to Account object... and if thru the Assignment Rule - Team Members I give the user X the access Full...
    Should I understand that for every other account (except the ones assigned thru assignment) the user X has a Read Only access...and for these accounts assigned thru Assignment the user X has the Full access ?

  • One of my team members has access the other one doesn't what's up with that.  Both are on the same payment account.

    I have updated my payment information and all other team members can access all the CC apps and services but only one team member can't.  What do I need to do?

Only trouble is it looks like there's a bunch of editing work I have to do. Before the recent download I had gone through my 500 albums and had everything sorting the way I wanted it.     Hi Kumar,
    This could be due to the following reasons:
    1. Check whether the OADP settings are correct. It might be worth testing the evaluation path that it uses.
    2. Check whether the users have appropriate authorisations (for IT2001) and structural auths (if implemented).

  • Project Lite License for Team Members not giving access to the PWA

     Hi there - So here is my issue I am having with Project Online 2013. I am new to project server ( I mean project online) & really having fun with it but MSFT can make it a bit easier to the Users.
    So we brought the following 2 licenses
    1) Project Lite for Team Members ( Brought this license after getting answer from previous question posted by me at  Previous
    thread )
    2) Project Online with Project Pro for Office 365.
    So I am able to access the PWA for my Portfolio Managers, Project Managers etc., Now I tried giving access to the Team Members and as directed by MSFT I added them to the group "Team Members for Project Web App ".
    I created some tasks in project schedule and assigned the tasks to the Team Members and published them.
    Now when My Team Members try too access the PWA Site , they are not able to access it.
     1 ) When trying to access the   ( http://tenant.sharepoint.com/PWA/Default.aspx)   which is the home page  I am seeing a webpart error with correlation ID.
     2) When trying to access the  Task through (http://tenant.sharepoint.com/PWA/Tasks.aspx ) where you see the tasks, the page gives me " Sorry you don't have access to this page"
    So now my question is how do I give access to my Team Members so that they can work on the tasks assigned to them in the PWA. 
    Any help is highly appreciated.

  • SAP Roles and Access for SAP Implementation team members

    Is it correct practice to give SAP_ALL role access for all SAP Implementation team members in Dev and QA?
    If not, what is the correct practice?

    It is NOT correct practice to give anyone SAP_ALL in any of the systems; not DEV, not QAS, and certainly not PRD. However, many implementation teams (and particularly consultants from SIs) insist that they cannot possibly do their jobs without it. This is completely incorrect as there are specific roles for them to use for that purpose. The only circumstance where it could be justified is if you require a special "firefighter" role - and even then, I would still be a bit doubtful.
    You should also consider that once you have given someone SAP_ALL, they will fight tooth and nail to keep it. It also means that they probably are not testing the user roles correctly. Most of those that insist they need it simply do not understand the security issues and probably don't care.
    Just think; if they have access to do soemthing that they shouldn't and then cause a big problem, are they the ones that will have to fix it or are they going to expect you to do it? If they expect you to clear up after them, then you have the right to insist on restricting their access to cause issues in the first place.
    But I know just how demanding they can be....
