Team tab disappears after loading project

I recently setup Project server to TFS integration. I was able to run all the cmdlets fine. One of my projects (QATASks) integrates between Project server and TFS fine. However when I create a new project (Test1) in project server and TFS run the /mapplantoteamproject
command and then open the Enterpriseproject in Project 2013 the "team" tab initially appears and then disappears. When I open QATasks the team tab appears and when I open Test1 it appears initially and then disappears.
I have checked addins to make sure Team foundation addin is not inactive or disabled. Pl help - at my wits end.
I have also compared all permissions between QAtasks and Test1 and everything is setup correctly.

Have you looked at any possible involvement of the antivirus program in the way of recent updates for it? Recent Windows Updates? Can we assumed that you have not added, subtracted any programs that would coincide with the onset of the issue?
Have you checked to make sure that your video card is up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the video card?
Recently, with Premiere Elements 10 and NVIDIA video card, answers have come from rolling back the driver.
I guess you tried the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file deletion. But, did you try deleting the whole 9.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists?
Do you have the Premiere Elements 9 installation disc for installations files in case a deactivation, uninstall, run through of ccleaner, reinstall is indicated?
But, let me backup for a moment. Is this issue confined to one previously created project or to all your Premiere Elements projects either new or old?
Let us start here and then move forward according to your answers.

Premiere Elements 9 window disappears after loading project

Hello all,
I've been having issues with Premiere Elements (9) lately. I have read other threads similar to my problem and followed some of the instructions (deleting the Pref file, for example).
Whenever I open a specific project (that has worked before until recently), the loading progess bar goes from 0-100 and then it stays there. After that, the entire program disappears. It doesn't crash (as it's still in the task bar), but when I click on PrE9, nothing comes up. When I mouse-over the icon on the task bar, it's just the window buttons (minimize, expand, exit).
The reason I started this thread is because none of the problems I found were really similar to mine.
Any help would be much appreciated.
(Also, please pardon me if this thread is in the wrong place.)

Have you looked at any possible involvement of the antivirus program in the way of recent updates for it? Recent Windows Updates? Can we assumed that you have not added, subtracted any programs that would coincide with the onset of the issue?
Have you checked to make sure that your video card is up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the video card?

Starting up into Safe Mode does several things:
1 It forces a directory check of the startup volume.
2 It loads only required kernel extensions (some of the items in /System/Library/Extensions).
3 In Mac OS X v10.3.9 or earlier, Safe Mode runs only Apple-installed startup items (such items may be installed either in /Library/StartupItems or in /System/Library/StartupItems; these are different than user-selected account login items).
4 It disables all fonts other than those in /System/Library/Fonts (Mac OS X v10.4 or later).
5 It moves to the Trash all font caches normally stored in /Library/Caches/com.apple.ATS/(uid)/ , where (uid) is a user ID number such as 501 (Mac OS X v10.4 or later).
6 It disables all startup items and login items (Mac OS X v10.4 or later).
7 Mac OS X v10.5.6 or later: A Safe Boot deletes the dynamic loader shared cache at (/var/db/dyld/). A cache with issues may cause a blue screen on startup, particularly after a Software Update. Restarting normally recreates this cache.”
As I don’t know much about the technical aspects of computers, I don’t really understand the first answer, and it sounds like following it might produce unwanted changes.
But I understand your questions, so I’ll try to answer them;
"loading from any Project" means that I encounter the problem when I’m using a project, possibly after/because I’ve left the Mac on overnight, and/or I’ve made a lot of adjustments, and, once the problem is there, it happens in any other project which I open – the images load then disappear.
I can see images in the Browser, so it only happens in the Viewer(s).
I’m afraid I don’t understand what you mean by: “If you select "Photos" from near the top of the Library tab of the Inspector, does it show you all of your Images?”. I am a newcomer to Aperture, so I don’t know what some of the buttons are for yet, but when I want to look at and adjust my pictures, I import them, as referenced images, then Aperture creates a folder/project in the Library. When I click on that Project (when it’s working properly), all the images appear in the Browser or the Viewers – without me needing to “select Photos from near the top of the Library tab of the Inspector”. I selected it and looked at all the items in the dropdown menu, but none of them seems to offer the option to ‘show all the images’. So I’m not sure how to answer your question except to say that – yes, I can see all the pictures in the Browser or the Viewers (when it’s working properly), but I don’t seem to need to use the Photos button to achieve this.
Did Aperture work before?
Yes it worked ok for a while, but I only purchased it on 24th May.
If I understand correctly, the difference between thumbnail and preview is that the thumbnail is what I see when the “Loading” wheel is turning, and the disappearance of this wheel after a few seconds means that I am now looking at the preview (also, the thumbnail cannot be adjusted).
So I think the problem occurs when the thumbnail has finished loading; the viewer going blank/grey might mean that it is not showing the preview.
But I have not changed the default Preview settings in Aperture Preferences.

I have noticed another problem: I cannot apply the same rating to multiple images: following the instructions, I select a group of contiguous (or non- contiguous) images, choose a selection eg “5stars” using the keyboard, but the stars only appear in the last selected image – even though all the images are still showing as selected.”

All of my iMovie projects disappeared after loading Mavericks. The updated version of iMovie shows no files and cannot find any files to Import. My machine, a beefed up Mac Mini, has slowed to a crawl. Suggestions?

My Mac Mini takes forever to load programs now. After loading Mavericks it seems like I am back in PC World again!! My biggest concern is ALL of my iMovie projects seem to have vanished. I do not have sound on some web sites like YouTube. I lost the option to mirror from the Mac to the TV but I was able to solve that. Any suggestions on recovery of files? I do not use TimeMachine and did not back up anything before the Mavericks installation. I know...that's bad. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

After installing another Suitespot server and then Calendar, the tab from one
of the other servers disappears. I reinstall that server, then the Calendar
Server tab disappears!

file has no extra white spaces or erroneous chars in the front or end
of each line. If there are, delete the extra character and reload

UEFI is the BIOS replacement. Once that is done you can use USB 3.0 with Win8 and Hyper-V. Oh, and the computer boots about twice as fast. At least that was my experience. There is a list of Gigabyte utilities that need to be removed first, so read
the instructions well.
"(Note) Some GIGABYTE utilities are not supported under UEFI BIOS architecture. Please remove Smart6, Dynamic Energy Saver, Smart TPM, and Touch BIOS utilities before updating the BIOS."
I used a FreeDOS bootable USB to apply the update, since you can't do it from inside Windows or through the BIOS updater.

You may need a clean re-install Win8 afterwards. I did it out of habit, so I don't know if it will pick up the changes and work without it. Back your stuff up first just in case you do.

Images suddenly disappear after loading. how can I fix this?

Recently I had a problem with my proxy setting and I reset my Freegate settings.
After that something bad happened. Whenever I search something is Google image and load an image in new tab, it takes a little time to load the image completely but right after that the image disappears.
Sometimes suddenly a tab opens and says that my player setting should be updated; but when I download the "player-setup.exe" file, it quickly disappears from that folder! Once I could copy it before disappearing, but when I clicked on it, an error occurred that "it's not a valid application".
My Firefox is the latest version. But I also have other problems with it and I don't know why.

This smell like you were trying to safe malware, so it might have been your AV software that noticed this file and removed it to prevent infection.
If you get a pop-up message asking to update Firefox or plugins then such a message is likely a scam and you should never respond to such an alert to avoid getting infected with malware.
*Only update Firefox via "Help > About" or by downloading and installing Firefox from the Mozilla server and never via a pop-up or link on a web page.
*Plugins should only be updated via the plugin itself or by visiting the home page of the plugin.

Originals disappeared after renaming project

Hello!
After the import from a SD-card into a new project in Aperture I have
a) firstly deleted the photos (****!), then ...
b) created some new projects and finally ...
c) moved the initial photos from the new project into the other projects.
The result of all this is that all photos are still in Aperture (even in full-screen-modus) but the originals are not here anymore! Every time I try to edit/delete/export/send the photos Aperture refuses to do it and shows me in the error-message that the originals couldn't be found. Not even Spotlight/TimeMachine find them!
I could also repeat the whole process: I made new photos, imported them into a new project ... they were still there, even after restarting Aperture ... as soon as I rename the project Aperture said that the originals disappeared!
Do you have an explination for that?
And perhaps even a method to restore all the lost photos?

Honestly I cannot even remotely begin to figure out exactly what you did or did not do. My best guess here is that you imported the photos as referenced masters (leave images where they are option) and got rid of the masters at some point. If this is the case you are most likely SOL as the only recourse is to use a recovery program that takes forever to run and is the most successful the less volatile the file system/disk that it is recovering.
If you have a vault or other backup obviously they are still there. If not now is the time to fix your work-flow in a couple of ways.

Ps. If this is not the case it is something inane but I will trust you when you say that they are gone. 99.9999% probability that Aperture didn't get rid of them if they are gone - you did. Gotta love all the folks espousing "only use referenced files no matter what".

How to restore search history tabs; disappeared after I cleared search history; can't restore tabs!

I recently cleared my search history - I deleted everything - but now my search history tabs (that were generated after each search) have disappeared, and I can't restore them no matter what I do. Also, under "History", "restore previous session" and "recently closed windows" are gray, and so can't be selected. I've "reset" Firefox to "default" status twice to no avail...help! I need those tabs!

Premiere disappears after loading

I'm trying to help someone who can't get Premiere Pro 5.5 to run. He launches the program and it starts to load, then instead of coming to the recent project window, the program simply disappears. This only happens for his user. Other users on the computer have no problem. He stores his projects on a large external drive that has plenty of space. I went to the AppData folder and renamed the folder for Premiere, but that didn't change anything (looks like an Adobe tech had him try the same thing.) Adobe was blaming it on a network problem before I got called into this. The one thing that changed is that his Documents folder is redirected to a UNC path and our IT department changed that path over the Christmas break. If Adobe has some default using the old UNC path, them maybe that would make it crash? But if so, how can I clear that setting out? An uninstall/reinstall does not help.

Logic pro x freezes after loading project

Hi,
So first off I'm running Logic pro x on my Hackintosh. Basically, sometimes when i open up logic, it will go through the scanning audio units and loading of a project but when it goes to open the main window, i get the spinning wheel. A restart fixes it everytime but im not sure what causes this problem.
Things I have tried so far:
turn off screensaver
never let the computer sleep
clear AU cache
disable failed AU
reinstall logic pro
change darkwake value
disable core audio
If i change inputs on my tv (my tv is my monitor) and come back to my computer input after an extended period of time, logic freezes.
If anyone has any ideas for me please let me know. It's an inconvenience to restart the computer everytime I want to use logic but if there's a fix i'd gladly accept it. I'm 90% sure its a hackintosh problem because this never happens on my macbook pro and im using all the same plugs

When I have an issue with an older LP9 project loading into LPX it's usually because of an older plugin compatibility issue...or missing/moved samples/audio/Sample library files...
So I use the Selective Track Import (STI) feature in LP9/LPX to load each track in individually from the older LP9 project into a new LPX project..until I find the culprit...
Here is a brief tutorial for using it.. This one's for LP9 but it works much the same way in LPX

STI actually has many uses... and is one of the most often overlooked feature in Logic when it comes to merging projects/Re-using tracks from other projects/Project recovery and basic trouble shooting for issues such as the one you are having

Crashes After Loading Project

Hey guys,
I have had Premiere Pro CC on my computer for over a week now, and i have been using it fine until the update today. It no longer stays open, and shuts down the program automatically after i load one of my previous projects. I am paying for my adobe subscription and i checked and my credit card has been charged.
Please help before i smash my computer.
