Team Viewer Issue

How do I set up the Team Viewer in MSS?
I have set up the ODAP, but not sure how to link it to the Team Viewer iView in MSS with the relevant view (MSS_TMV_EE_DIR)?
Thanks

Using MSS ERP 2005 on EP 7.0
I have a requirement to design a page with the Team Viewer iView on the General  Information Page. What I am trying to achieve is that if a manager selects an employee in the Team Viewer the employee profile iViews (General Data and Personal data which are dependent on the pernr that is passed from Team viewer) their information should appear in the same General Information Page.

  • Issue with Team Viewer

    Hello All,
    I am working with MSS 60.1, EP 6.0 and R/3 4.7. Here we have developed a transaction code taking (Employee Number) PERNR as input and showing the details.
    In MSS, we have something called Team Viewer which shows the list of employees and when u select an employee his/her details are shown in corresponding adjacent iviews.
    Now this Team Viewer is working with some JSP files and is not an r3 transaction.
    Would like to know how to proceed in order to pass the employee number being selected from team viewer to my custom transaction.
    Any inputs will be appreciated.
    regards

    Hi Ruth,
    Did you ever resolve this issue?
    I am getting error message 'Cannot connect to R/3' even though I have followed all the guidlines for the connections...thought maybe you have a solution.
    Thanks,
    Parina

  • MSS PCR Team viewer Not working Poeperly when nodata available

    Hi
    We have implemented MSS Business package for Nw04 Sp18 portal and ERP2004 system.
    When using PCR team viewer list, we observed strange problem.
    We have created 4 views in r/3 side using  OADP img .all the views are displaying data correctly ,when each view has data available at back end, for any view if doesn't have data its showing previous view data instead of showing "no data found".
    But it’s working fine in QA portal, in DEV system we found this strange behavior. We compared all the config b/w two systems, not able to find the problem. Any one has any suggestions most welcome.
    Thanks in advance
    Gopal

    Not sure that I understand the issue here - are you saying that there are directly reporting employees who are not appearing in MSS unless the manager has SAP_ALL authorisation?  Are you also using HR structural authorisations?
    You do know how the standard "Direct Reporting" view in MSS is supposed to work?  As in, which employees you should be expecting to appear?
    The "Direct Reports" option uses an evaluation path called MSSDIREC, which references a relationship called B900 "Manager under manager".  Relationship B900 uses program RHDIREPO to find the relevant objects.
    For us at least, the standard "Direct Reports" only returns (1) employees in the same Org Unit as the manager, (2) employees in subordinate Org Units that do not have an occupied Chief position, and (3) managers (i.e. Chiefs) in subordinate Org Units.

  • Team viewing in MSS

    Hi gurus,
    in MSS
    Team view should only display the direct reportees of the person who is viewing it.
    For example: If Manager wants to view the list of employees who has applied for leave to him he should only be ableto see his reporteelist and not his peers or the entire HR departments leave.
    please throw some light on this
    Regards
    K Naveen Kishore.

    HI Siddharth,
    the issue is solved,
    i have customized the standard evaluation path SBESX by adding
    S     B       002    Is Line supervisor of    *      S
    and created two rule groups
    Zteamview   --  rule for team view- org unit( i have used SAP_MANG evaluation path)
    Zteamview1 --  rule for team view- target object(i Have used ZSBESX Evaluation Path)
    Thankyou .
    Regards

  • MSS Team View evaluation path for non chief positions (s-s)

    Hello,
    We have a problem with display of employees under non chief manager - reporting managers (connection A002). In our organization we have line managers and under them team managers who are leading team of employees. Those managers want to see their employees under MSS Team View iView.
    I have checked forum posts and try to create correct evaluation path but i didn't get results yet. I have created 2 evaluation paths:
    Z_MANG (copy of SAP_MANG):
    10 *     B 008      S
    20 S    B 002      S
    30 US  A 208 P
    Z_S-S (copy of MSSDIREC):
    10 S  A 002     S
    20 S  A 008     P
    30 S  A 008     US
    I also included them into rules so:
    Root rule (rule 1) - Z_MANG
    Target rule (rule 3) - Z_S-S
    I have also done customizing under Object and Data provider and if I choose standard evaluation paths (e.g. SAP_MANG and MSSDIREC), I get employees shown - if I give manager a hat (A012 connection).
    Could you please help me with advice, where am I wrong? I think that first evaluation path (Z_MANG) is ok and it finds non chief manager, maybe is a problem with second one that don't show employees?
    Thank you for answers in advance.
    Best regards,
    David

    My first suggestion was either use Bottoms-up approach or top-down dont use both..like either use either of below
    S A 002 Reports (line) or
    S B 002 Is line supervisor
    but figured u will still have depth issues..so therefore
    you cld experiment like below..i understood your requirement, and i am suggesting this totally off-hand thats on top of my head..as i said experiement doing this way..
    say you have four levels  why dont you use different evalutaion path to link them between each level..
    say 1st to 2nd (reports to A002)
          2nd to 3rd (subordinate to A005)
          3rd to 4th/4th to 3rd (Is line supervisor B 002 )etc
    this way you will not have the depth issue as each one is diffeent Ev path..
    ...oops i can see people laughing at this solution..but well..i tried!

  • MSS Team View change Bizcard Text

    Hello,
    We are implementing MSS Team View on Portal. And want to change the Home No. text in the Bizcard displayed when the Manager hovers over the employee.
    Any help would be highly Appreciated.
    Please refer to the screen below:

    Hi Rohit,
    there is a customizing activity where you should be able to change the text.
    Go to Personnel Management --> Manager Self-Service (Web Dynpro ABAP) --> Organizational Chart Visualization --> Configure Organizational Chart Visualization
    If you don't have any customer specific entries, the standard customizing can be found under "Check standard organizational chart configuration"
    Select the MSSBIZVIEW entry
    Go to the structure MSS_EMP_HIER:
    And then to the MSS_TMV_BIZ_NAV navigation field group (as you want to change communication settings here)
    If you then open the navigation fields, you should be able to edit the text that is shown:
    Hope this solves your issue and helps.
    Regards,
    Marc

  • MSS: Team View data refreshing itself in background

    Hi all,
    I'm running into another issue with the Team View.  I have created a custom routine that takes the information stored in wd_this->mt_hierarchy_data, and removes information that I don't want displayed on the screen.  Right now the routine works when the view loads, and when you change the Display drop down, and when you click the refresh button inside the Team View display.  BUT, when I go to drill down into another org unit, the code somewhere is resetting itself so the fields that I removed from the table are now back in there.
    Is there somewhere on a Post-Exit that I could add my routine to modify the table.  I have tried numerous Post-Exits, but have had minimal luck.
    Hope this makes sense.
    Cheers,
    Kevin

  • WebDynpro ABAP + Team viewer integration

    Hi All,
    I have webDynPro ABAP application and a Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP2 with MSS package 6.0 installed on it. As you know there is a teamviewer iview on the left frame of portal and when you click on one person in the team viewer list and event is triggered and the program on the right frame get this trigger and changes its content accordingly. My question is how can the webdynpro abap application get the pernr clicked in the team viewer iview.
    Thanks for replies

    Hi, I have the same issue.
    I need to capture the personal number selected in Team Viewer. Probably a Portal Eventing might be fired, but I need to know if someone knows whats the namespace and the name of that event. Or where can I find these information?
    Thanks

    Not saying I can analyze your log but have a suggestion that might be of help. I use Teamviewer a lot. It has not crashed on me yet on SL.
    The one time I had a problem of it not connecting at all was solved by trashing the plist file. You can find it here user/Library/preferences/com.teamviewer.settings.plist
    Drag it out of the folder and onto your desktop, log out, log back in. Start Teamviewer and see if it helps. If not, you can always drag it back and replace the new plist file that was created.

  • Team Viewer performance

    Hi,
    Here is my issue:
    When a Managers go into the MSS portal, click on the Team Viewer and select "Peers", they end up in a loop.  When they end the session and go back in,  they are unable to open that Iview(screen).  This happens in all the iviews where they might select PEERS. We have had a work around in place by re-creating their userIDs.
    Is there another way to clear the manager settings without deleting the userID?
    We also change the view depth to 3 "V_TWPC_V.
    Thanks
    Jean Seguin

  • Colum Configuration in the Team Viewer iview

    Hi Customizers/Developers,
    We have been running MSS for some time on our portal, and just recently an issue has been raised by our customers. In the upper, right corner in the Team Viewer iview there is an icon leading to a new window where one can add certain information in the Team Viewer column (I think the window/icon is called something like Column Configuration). One of the options here is TO_ATTEND, but we want to remove this option.
    Does anyone know where to change/custimize this?
    I tried to look in the IMG -> integration with other SAP components -> business packages/functional packages -> MSS -> Object and data provider -> Define Columns. But I couldn't figure out quite what to do.
    Have anyone else faced the same issue? What were your experiences?
    Help is highly appreciated!
    Many thanks!

  • Team view data not getting refers for some user

    Hi,
    We are facing an issue in team view app for mss,  manager's are seeing details of employees not belonging to their Org Unit/ data not getting refreshed. This seems to be the Cache related issue where the data of perviously logged in user is displayed to the current user till browser cache are cleared manually.
    User don't have permission to clear browser cache. Is there any work around.The issue is coming only for some users.I have enable the 'ABAP HTTP Security session Enabled' property of the system used.

    Hi Karthik,
    in the first view I execute the BAPI and in the second view I show the results. In the second view I also submit the modified data via another BAPI.
    As I execute and display result of same BAPI in two different views I have bound the same model node to both of these views. Let me give you some sample code for understanding what have I done.
    In the first BAPI's search action handler I have written:
              Zsr_Packnr_Validate_Components_Input input = new Zsr_Packnr_Validate_Components_Input();
              wdContext.nodeZsr_Packnr_Validate_Components_Input().bind(input);
              input.addT_Version(new Zsr_Packnr_Field_Values());
              input.addT_Zsr_Genbr(new Zsr_Packnr_Field_Values());
    input.setZsr_Gmc(globalMaterialCode);
              input.setZsr_Mrc(mrc);
              input.setZsr_Ctry(country);
              input.setZsr_Dc(distributionChannel);
              input.setZsr_Div(commercialSegment);
    wdContext.nodeOutput_Validate().invalidate(); //as u suggested
              wdContext.currentZsr_Packnr_Validate_Components_InputElement().modelObject().execute();
              wdContext.nodeOutput_Validate().invalidate();
    In the second BAPI I just display the output node from the same Model context node (its mapped to the second view too).
    But as I said whenever I update some values in the result set and submit it the data gets submitted properly. But when I press the search button again, the previous set of data gets populated, not the just updated data.
    If anybody has some idea on why the second time search BAPI execution still shows the previous set of result it will be a great help to me.
    Thanks for all your help.

  • Portals MSS i-Views load before Team Viewer

    We are using MSS portals and have an issue with i-Views loading before the team viewer has loaded.  This causes an error to appear in the i-views, because there is no data.  For small groups of employees this is not a big issue because it happens very quickly.  However, for larger groups it can cause the errors to appear on the manager's screen for a long period (it is seconds, but when a manager is viewing, it is too long).  My question is, is there a setting that controls the i-views, so that they cannot populate until the team viewer is fully populated.

    Hi Ruth,
    Did you ever resolve this issue?
    I am getting error message 'Cannot connect to R/3' even though I have followed all the guidlines for the connections...thought maybe you have a solution.
    Thanks,
    Parina
